    Buyer Beware!

Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion is a mess and flawed on a technical level.
The first sign of this game's defects are immediate, load times are often and annoyingly long (20-40 seconds.) What's more, the main character is depicted in a running motion during loading screens and can't even seem to animate smoothly — a taste of what's to come.

For a game of such low graphical caliber, one would expect everything to be silky smooth. Nope! The game clearly can't handle multiple animations smoothly. Fights are heavily reliant on quick reactions in order to block enemy attacks and prevent massive damage to your characters. Often times, the frame rate gets so low and choppy that the game skips or freezes. This issue is made more glaring during boss fights where blocking attacks means the difference between victory or defeat. A good game should not cause such frustrations (especially on a fundamental level.)

On top of that, my game has frozen after boss fights two times as well as erased the progress I made for clearing stages two times as well. Yes, there are bugs and glitches. The worst offender though is that I wasn't even able to finish the game because it repeatedly froze on one of (what I assume to be) the last stages after the same fight.

There is little point to going further into a more detailed review as this game is broken in it's current iteration. Development for the Vita must not have been paramount to the developers and it shows.

I'd struggle to believe they even play tested the game on Vita before releasing it it is so glaringly flawed in its management of hardware resources. Full Review »

I didn't encounter any notable performance issues because I was playing on PS5.
I did play a lot of games and I let me tell you - this game lack a lot of things.
Story is difficult to follow, I didn't feel any sympathy or attachment to characters.
Most important thing in the game is of course game and battle mechanics. I died at the start.
I died because enemies are no joke and no one explained how to survive until later battles.
Fighting first boss after learning all basics was a breeze.
So my conclusion is that battles feels bland, not engaging and unrewarding.
There's always games that do better than this one so my advice - go buy something else.
