Drones - Drones have increased use in this game compared to watchdogs 2, Cargo drone is by far one of the best, hijacking one and using it in missions can be fun. Permadeath mode - is a welcome challenge for anyone for more hardcore gamers, resulting in your operatives dying and losing them forever, combined with hard mode alcan make this game a challenge. Adverts - in this game radio adverts can be heard in some locations, for example there is an ad that features the tag line "see it, say it, sorted" which is Very accurate as in the UK there are government adverts at trains rations pushing this exact phrase, blew my mind the first time I heard it. Story - It's ok Poor Voice acting - all characters sound so beyond fake and lifeless paired with their overtop the top London accents
Poor framerate--whilst playing this game I've noticed a lot of stutters with overall low responsiveness. Lack of a sense of progression - no skill tree, replaced with tech upgrades with are found densely populated over the map, so no real challenge, all real abilities which would normally be on a skill tree and locked to certain characters which you either have to get lucky with RNG.
Characters abilities - some are quite pathetic in the trailers we see a "bee keeper" who can summon robotic drones apon his foes, in game this does barely any damage and makes you wonder why you spent any time unlocking him. Combat - Generic, some characters have their won moveset but it gets repetive very quickly. Map - quite small that personally felt quite empty, not many cars on the road, if they're was cars they had no passengers and were just semi autonomous cars, you cannot enter any shops, the underground is just a few steps down from ground level blocking you off from seeing anything with ticket machines. Cars - very few cars, the one big truck I wanted to drive, you can't, it's autonomous

Honestly this game could be alright but everything else just makes it seem like a rushed copy and paste basic game. This game was so unenjoyable for me I had to sell it in the first week
My personal experience places this game to be the worst of all 3 watchdogs games with watch dogs 2 being the best. I honestly can't recommend this game to anyone, the only people I could possible recommend this to is a child who wanted GTA but isn't allowed GTA or someone who just wants to look at London (even though you can do that on Google maps for free).

On ps5 the frameset isnt even a solid 30fps and the game is stuttering in my oled. The bad performance spoils the fun...

I think I'll play it if a 60fps comes out... otherwise it's a waste of money and I'll never buy an Ubisoft game again!

This game in utter garbage. The fact ubisoft allowed this sorry excuse for a game to come out on the ps5 full price is an insult to us customers. This game has terrible frame rate as well as graphics. The game doesn’t even let you switch between graphics 30 FPS mode or performance mode. The driving is horrible in this game. The wanted level in this game is a joke. You can literally kill 10 people and you’ll only get one wanted level and they’ll forget about you if you drive to the next block. Honestly, I think I’m done with Ubisoft. They have become lazy and incompetent. I honestly hope they go bankrupt and another company that’s actually good buys their ip’s. Expand

I'm about 15 hours in and the game is spectaculor. Sure there are so minor issues here and there but nothing that is enough to wear it's affecting the gameplay. The graphics are absolutely stunning and jaw dropping on the PS5. Remember that a majority of the review on here are from users who hate Ubisoft and have never played the game before. Watch_Dogs: Legion is an emotionless copy and paste of it's predecessors.

Enter the world of Ubisoft where your main character is nothing but a vessel for you to control, you could change the character to a duffle bag and I wouldn't notice anything different. Ubisoft's characters have no substance or (ironically) character, and their stories and worlds are a mishmash of over the top

Ubisoft's characters have no substance or (ironically) character, and their stories and worlds are a mishmash of over the top representation of how the world sees the far-left, and how the far-left sees the world.

Their script team must have bullet points which consist of:
    - Government bad
    - Anti-Establishment hip
    - British people love the word shag

I've never attempted to speed run a game as badly as I did with this one. I must have gotten into about 7-9 hours of the game (most of it playing the keepy-up football mini game) and I had to google the mission list, and when I saw that I was near the start I lost all interest in the characters and the story and decided to just gun for it.

Let's talk about the characters, play who you want sounded like such a potential quirk in a video game, but alas it doesn't matter as they have no defining features, even their special traits are lacklustre and bear no usefulness once you unlock a verity of standard abilities which all of your characters will posses. In the end I think I stuck to one character, and the rest were just there for convenience whenever my chosen character would die and then I would be forced to pick someone else.

Now the story... Literally YouTube watch it, I'm sure there is someone out there who actually cared about it, but the dialogue and voice acting was too bad for me to handle another second of cinematic cut scenes... The only time in video game history I'm thankful for a skip button.

The missions are mind numbingly repetitive... Drive to destination, break into destination, hack terminal, escape.

I'm not sure what made me think that this franchise would be revived after the borefest that was Wath_Dogs 2, but it felt basically the same but with a different setting. The first game wasn't amazing but the story had emotion and the main character had background, so you felt sort of invested at the start... This is basically you start the game, you die at the start, your organisation gets rebuilt... Oh and there's a witty AI that basically comes off as an Aldi version of JARVIS.

I've clocked 21 hours on this game according to my PS5, but I reckon 6 hours of them 21 were spent on pause whilst I got distracted by YouTube , or doing something else... but I put in those hours just so I could complete it and give my honest opinion.

I couldn't recommend this game without feeling some part of my soul being obtained by the devil himself. You may have a few hours of fun doing the same thing over and over again, but I'd highly recommend you save your hard earned money and buy something else.

    TL;DR:

Watch_Dogs: Legion is a repetitive borefest, that is a carbon copy of it's predecessor. Don't waste your money, or at least wait for it to be on sale for £15-20, which won't be too long.

Five hours of fun in a Sixty dollar package. Permadeath is a fun idea, but you will find yourself rarely in danger, especially later in the game. The missions feel the same. Stability is a big problem. All around another modern Ubisoft game.

Can anyone tell me why on earth is this user score so low? Been playing this over 15 hours and while not perfect, it's nice game.

Not nearly as bad open world London as expected. Some people act like it's worst game ever made or something. It's actually pretty okay. This user score makes absolutely no sense.

This game is really interesting and ironically it has nothing to do with actual game.

This feels like coordinated attack to bring this game down. First it's score was (for many days) 76 (on PC version) and then for whatever reason they lowered it to 74 (on PC version) just to hurt it's reputation. So according to metacritic logic "Total War Saga: Troy" is better game than watch dogs

It's also obvious that if youtuber "penguinz0" never made his hate video on this game, it would have pretty decent user score, but after his video went up his fanboys came to this site to bring this game down. He doesn't care that many people were waiting for this game or that people know the difference between GTA series and Watch_Dogs series. All "penguinz0" cares about is whining about Ubisoft as much as he can. It's sad that he is that way and it's sad that people like him have that much power to destroy great games, but that's the reality we live.

London looks beautiful, first time ever any video game has modern London. Story is meh, but DLC's are really promising. If you liked Watch_Dogs 1, i would recommend this.

While its dystopian, futuristic London may smell of Grand Theft Auto open worlds, Watch Dogs Legion's approach to recruiting any NPC differentiates the formula in a unique way, creating a fascinating blend of freedom, action, stealth, and roguelikes.

What you end up with is an experience that shows a ton of promise, but ends up being entirely average. It’s hard to call Watch Dogs Legion a bad game outright. It’s a serviceable, if traditional, open-world game with a boring story and novelty mechanics that play out better on paper than in execution. The PS5 version makes expected improvements to visuals and load times, but isn’t a standout example of a “next-gen” title.

Watch Dogs: Legion is a far more palatable experience on PS5 thanks to its vastly-improved load times and splendid visual upgrades. The only real technical gripes are that there’s little in the way of DualSense implementation, and the framerate, while steady, hasn’t been upped. Its base problems of open-world fatigue and messy storytelling are still problems that can’t be so easily fixed and still remain a significant barrier to enjoyment. It’ll give you a dazzling trip to London, but you wouldn’t want to stay there.
