    Games presentation is by far it's greatest feature as the environment and cutscenes are phenomenal. The optimisation is great as long as you have bought a gaming computer within the last 2 years. I had no issues with the combat and the puzzles really complimented the mechanics nicely. I guess the only reason this is not a perfect score is because it's a semi-short game.     Game is one of the best games on PS5. One of my favorites of the year. Graphics are some of the best, gameplay is awesome and reminds me of Zelda. Soundtrack is amazing too.

    Beautiful game, fun combat. There are some odd jumping & exploration mechanics. Dialogue is ok. Definitely a great game at the price point.

    O jogo não para de me impressionar, a grande surpresa foi os combates desafiadores e isso é incrível, os rot são muito fofinhos, e a gameplay é muito gostosa, mecânicas legais, a variedade nos inimigos é ótima, principalmente a movimentação dos bosses são bem rápidos o que torna o combate desafiador, e o mundo de kena tem um visual maravilhoso, parabéns para toda equipe envolvida noO jogo não para de me impressionar, a grande surpresa foi os combates desafiadores e isso é incrível, os rot são muito fofinhos, e a gameplay é muito gostosa, mecânicas legais, a variedade nos inimigos é ótima, principalmente a movimentação dos bosses são bem rápidos o que torna o combate desafiador, e o mundo de kena tem um visual maravilhoso, parabéns para toda equipe envolvida no projeto o que nos mostra que os jogos Indies tem muito potencial quando se trabalha com amor, this is awesome… Expand

    It doesn't matter if you are 10 years old, 30 years old or 70 years old, you will enjoy this game. Do not pay attention to the words of the four heaters. Finally, every game has a heater. It gives you pure and all the great game sets, be sure to buy it, it is really worth $ 40, do not doubt.

    this is my first blind purchased of the game. i don't know what to expect, OMG this game is so good! the storyline the combo and the design will make you hooked up. i've finished this game TWICE!!!! and i never played storyline game twice. This is damn good!

    jogo muito bem, tanto tecnicamente quando áudio e visual. Consegue trazer a experiência e nostalgia de games antigos de aventura, com toque de magia e graça, junto a um mundo grande e qualidades técnicas atuais. Para um primeiro game da ember lab esta de parabéns! Ótimo!

    The story is lovely. The small spirits are cute.

Aber Vorsicht, das Spiel kann auch sehr fordernd sein. Alles ist gefühlt am richtigen Platz. Auch die "Nebenmissionen" und Collectables sind in der richtigen Dosis verteilt, so dass man nicht das Gefühl bekommt davon erdrückt zu werden. SieEin sehr schönes Spiel wo alles am richtigen Platz ist. Das Spiel ist wunderschön inszeniert, sodass man das Gefühl hat in einem Pixar-Film zu sein.     I was really looking forward into playing this game and sadly, I'm really really disappointed. Besides being pretty, this game doesn't offer much. I feel like playing a Ps2 Remake. Mecanics are really outdated, the music is sometimes good but sometimes really annoying and the combat system is one of the worst I've seen in decades. I usually play my games on hard or normal difficulty and II was really looking forward into playing this game and sadly, I'm really really disappointed. Besides being pretty, this game doesn't offer much. I feel like playing a Ps2 Remake. Mecanics are really outdated, the music is sometimes good but sometimes really annoying and the combat system is one of the worst I've seen in decades. I usually play my games on hard or normal difficulty and I just put this one on story mode since controls aren't responding at all and bosses are just damage sponges that take 50 hits+ to kill. Parrying is really tedious and frustrating too. I would recommend to play this game when it's 20$ or less :(… Expand

    Totally overrated. The combat system is extremely basic. It can be ridiculously challenging even on the lowest difficulty settings (no idea how a child would enjoy it). Of course, it is undeniably cute and all that. Overall, not worth it.

    So many good things to say about this game, the art is beautiful, the story is captivating, the mechanics are fine, the cinematics are smooth as butter but unlike the game which is a little bit poorly optimized so I've had a lot of framerate drops.     The scenery and level design with all the puzzles and the interactive elements decorated with blue crystals highlight the work that went into the ambiance. Together with the charming OST and the narrative, they make a masterpiece    The game looks amazing, the combat has a parry, a shield, a dodge, a jump and a heavy and light attack, as well as a ranged attack and a power with the Rot.

    Has some of the newer Tomb Raider series mechanics as far as traversal platforming.

    Has double jump -Combat is basically Pixar’s version of blood borne control scheme wise -Combat itself presents a challenge but not dark souls challenge -Has a bow and arrow you unlock later and if you jump and shoot , you get a slow down like horizon zero Dawn - combat is very smooth and you can interrupt enemie hits except the bosses unless you hit a weak point on the boss - puzzles are very easy IF you pay attention to EVERYTHING around you

    As I was playing I was thinking this is a 10/10, a truly unique and amazing experience that will probably end up being in my top 10 gaming experiences of all time. But, for me, the very end of the game didn't feel like a satisfying conclusion for Kena herself. Think of Journey; it builds to this amazing, awe-inspiring ending, whereas for Kena herself (those that have played will know why IAs I was playing I was thinking this is a 10/10, a truly unique and amazing experience that will probably end up being in my top 10 gaming experiences of all time. But, for me, the very end of the game didn't feel like a satisfying conclusion for Kena herself. Think of Journey; it builds to this amazing, awe-inspiring ending, whereas for Kena herself (those that have played will know why I refer to Kena herself), it didn't feel like it wrapped-up her story. With the backstory she told, and her reason for seeking the mountain peak, I was hoping that storyline would have had a definitive bow tied around it.

    Game is gorgeous. The Rot that follow you around are very cute.
    The game is incredibly short and can be completed in about 4 hours if you zip through it. The combat and exploration though feels stiffer than I would've liked but overall it is a good adventure game and accessible for a wide audience.

    Kena is a playful and beautiful adventure, but it does not bring any breathtaking innovation. But it has the potential to take you to a fairy tale and let you experience the story of a young girl, which is a balanced experience.

    Ember Lab didn’t try to reinvent the wheel. Instead the developers opted for tried and true mechanics that entertained us time and again in many action adventure games, and mixed them in an almost perfect way. The beginning might be a little slow, but when Kena: Bridge of Spirits gains momentum, it becomes truly great. It’s hard for me to point out any significant flaws apart from overall lack of originality. What a debut! [12/2021, p.74]

    Kena: Bridge of Spirits should take most gamers around 10 to 12 hours to complete, depending on the amount of exploring and the level of difficulty. While the blockbusters games of 2021 continue to deliver the same ho-hum experience of 2021, Kena is a much needed ray of sunshine to the current choices of titles available and more importantly, looks fantastic on the PlayStation 5.
