    a very weak game compared to the originals, the game has an instagram filter and a bad character model. I would say it's lazy, the game is pretty graphically but the graphics don't save this game from this disaster

    GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition, is a clear case of corporate greed and how R* is about to end.
    Extremely under cooked. They paid no respect to this trilogy. The character models are worst, there are a lot bug, the rain just makes it difficult to drive. And look at their courage, asking 60 dollars for this non sense, while the modders have been doing this for free for years.

    So many bugs and so many downgrades. Unoptimized and bad performance with constant lag and stutter. Nothing new really and even then, there are removed content such as music which was one of the best thing about old gta trilogy. It's just sad the see the legendary trilogy like that never ever thought Rockstar would come up with a release like this.

    The colours in the remasters are disgustingly over-saturated. In many situations, the colours look smudgy, like they're bleeding into everything. Why are the characters in VC orange??? Why are characters in SA so much darker than in the original game??? Why is the contrast so harsh and why does it make things way too dark in many situations??? On PS5, constant freezing and frame issues, graphical errors on top of terrible graphics, AI is entirely messed up, crashing and driving erratically. The AI upscaled textures have been predicted and are wrong, sometimes losing the original jokes. Music is missing and some songs censored, the games have all lost their souls in this "upgrade". Is not worth the 54.99£ asking price. I can only hope most of these issues are patched out soon.… Expand

I would never pay the whole 60 euro price tag for the trilogy; even if you get three games, it is still not worth it... I'd consider waiting for at least a 50% discount, however if you value honesty, I wouldn't pay rockstar a thing for what appears to be a half-arsed job and sleazy business tactics. They removed many of the classic soundtracks from the game and banned mods, which should serve as a reminder of how consumer-friendly R* really is.… Expand

    how can you hate your audience so much that you can do such a thing? do you have a quality control department? it's just a terrible, bogged-down game, such masterpieces were ruined. models, textures, geometry are just terrible quality. protruding algae column from the ocean, curved textures and so on. everything is very sad. rockstar's reputation has sunk to the bottom.

    I've got the 3 platiniums. And there is one thing I can say for sure. Optimisation is bad, really bad. The games are freezing every 30 seconds. We are talking about Rockstar, it's a big disappointed for me coming from them. I loved it, but I don't recommended the games until they fix the framerate.

    The fps of the switch version is not as smooth as the ps2 version 20 years ago, and the Wolverine hand bug shocked me. Rubbish！

    The fact that the game had no gameplay footage until the day before release says it all. These games could have been so much more but they simply were not. The graphics look slightly better than the originals, but that's about it. No effort to remaster or remake the game with the gta 5 engine (which would have been awesome!)     Fidelity mode is a disaster. Performance mode offers an occasional 60 fps but dips frequently. Let’s talk about that rain. It’s terrible, ugly and distracting. This is the laziest remaster I’ve ever played. It’s 2021s biggest disappointment. The PC modded versions we’re 100 times better. This collection feels rushed, unfinished, and like a cash grab.

I will be demanding a refund and lucky me i still have the original GTASA on my pc. The originals not only look better but also feel better in the way of driving and gun fights. I already have the classic 3D GTA Trilogy on steam and I wanted to try this new experience of this masterpiece on Next gen consoles since It’s been so long I’ve played the classic GTA SA on PS2 at first gameplay the new HD GTA IV or V like mechanics and controls are a nice touch also made the game played on a controller much easier is the graphics and lots of bugs or glitches that kept me frustrated. In my experience I mostly found them on GTA San Andreas for example while riding on the hills or mountains on a motorcycle, for some reason I end up falling below the map this already happened twice for me and the rain effects are terrible as you cannot see anything in front of you. I hope a large patch will come soon but as of now its not worth buying all three games. I decided to give it a 0 since it’s not the best experience and not the remastered game I was hoping for. Very poorly made game unexpected from the developers since we are used to have decent well made games coming from Rockstar but this one is just a disappointing mess of a remaster… Expand

    This trilogy has many problems but I can still look past that & give this game a 1 or 2 if it weren't for one glaring problem, REMOVED music in a package called the definitive edition, I've seen games remastered with removed content (e.g. the Nathan drake collection) but it didn't boasted itself as the best way to play these games, this from a billion dollar company is inexcusable

    Even in performance mode it still often drops below 30 fps. Many songs in the original version were deleted. Due to the increased number of characters and vehicles, GTAIII and VC feels harder than the original version, they only added checkpoints at the beginning of the mission. Seriously? I don't think it's worth 60 dollars, it's only worth up to $30.

    If they really do choose to remaster GTA4 and RDR, I hope they invest a lot more time and money into it than this.

    So many bugs, the character models are atrocious, and worst of all, Rockstar has taken down the older versions of the game, forcing you to buy this version which is, for sure, awful.

    This remaster is a joke and just a cash grab. Doing the bare minimum and stíl made a 20 year old game worse on modern consolse. The fact they hid the gameplay before launch and took down the old versions to charge full price was two fingers to consumers.

    Rockstar Games has lost my confidence with Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Defective Edition. The overly cartoonish designs, most made by A.I., is an eyesore. The Unreal Engine conversion choice appears to be lazy. Frame drops, brand new bugs. This is not a game remaster worth playing let alone buying. Rockstar and T2 need to set some time to reevaluate what it is they're trying to achieve.

    The game itself could be really good, but it's the same game with upgraded graphics, all the old bugs are still in the game, and we even saw the new ones. Also one of the things why this remaster is bad, is the price, the price is dedicated for a full AAA game, but it's actually a remaster that could've been even done by a mods maker.
