    I wanted to give this trilogy and chance and i stupidly enough bought it full prize, so i have myself to blame for that. i ain't gonna be review bombing, this is how is really feel. I feel ripped off. I swear grove street games just used the mobile versions of these old games and made better. To add insult to injury, most the iconic songs are gone, if this is a defintivtive editon, then atleast pay for the old license. Oh but the worst part of it all is you have to play these versions now, if you didn't get the old versions before cause they are removed. No other game remaster has done this, so why? and also getting rid of mods because they threaten sales or some **** that makes this irredamlbe to me.

    This game is trash it has loads of bugs it’s mobile port and they don’t make a console and pc version of it like really rockstar you have loads of money and you make the game look better like seriously you just made grovestreet to remaster that buggy game like it’s only 30 fps when it will be 60? Ingame characters look too cartoony and they're ugly. Cars drive exactly the same. Most of ingame advertisements and billboards were "upgraded" using AI, and there are plenty of mistakes in it.Games look like some 10 year old kid modded them and it's only graphics.     Many bugs and extremely poor performance. all from a game developer who earns millions every month with the pay2win GTA online. Even EA seems likeable compared to R *.

Similar bugs hinder any progress beyond first few hours in GTA Vice City and GTA 3. On top of that there are numerous graphical glitches, weird glitchy textures replacing characters' skins, a huge weird T-shaped texture appearing in the middle of Grove Street and never going away etc... The new remodeled characters have been improved only for main characters and drastically worsened for NPCS and all other side characters. They look worse than the results of "my first 3D model" tutorial for 6-year olds. It's a true achievement to be able to introduce this many new and innovative bugs and glitches into 20 year old games. I hope the developers are really proud of themselves for selling this for 60$.… Expand

    O GTA trilogia não passou de uma espectativa. Não mudou em nada. Agora, foi possível encontrar mais bug's e glitcher's na trilogia que nos GTA's antigos. A chuva, por exemplo, parece uma aberração.

    Os mods que você baixa para GTA's antigos são muito melhores que essa remasterização.

    I've experienced a lot of bugs during the first hours: graphic glitches, FPS drops, mission trigger bugs, freaky cars, and people. For this price, I've expected much more from Rockstar!

    Pre-ordered the game when it was announced.
    Played 6 hours and had fun , Rockstar removed the game from launcher and went radio silence for more then 2 days so i did a refund and just today it returned again.
    Im glad i did because the longer you play the more horror you encounter.
    Groovestreetgames have once again raped a good perfect game

    While this remaster does provide some Quality-Of-Life features, and higher resolution textures - it falls far short of the remasters these classics deserved.

    It's an almost indescribable part - but the games doesn't retain the feels and styles of the originals. The textures are all over the place, there just isn't much consistency to them - and the game world feels just odd as a result. The grittiness and gloom of GTA 3, and the fog in San Andreas which now makes the map look incredibly small. This is that Cyberpunk fiasco all over again. The developer/publisher overpromised these games, and underdelivered so much it cannot be put into text or verbalized. Please don't buy these games like I did.… Expand

    Rockstar should issue refunds for this game. Low FPS and glitches around every corner. Even the developers mention how bad the game is within the games code. How did this ever get released. Are all of these companies really going to let Nintendo be the ONLY studio to release good stable titles upon release?! Pitiful, just pitiful.

    A game which is completely automated and is terrible, brought new bugs and old bugs from the mobile ports back, definitely the worst version of those games, get the original PC port if possible or the original console versions, which are the most stable versions of those games.

    Quite possibly the worst thing to grace GTA since the Oppressor Mark 2. Worst remake I have ever seen. The graphics look like they were upscaled by an AI instead of being upgraded by a human being. These new graphics have made the game worse in a few regards, for example in some story cutscenes where the characters look distraught in the original, now with the new graphics the charactersQuite possibly the worst thing to grace GTA since the Oppressor Mark 2. Worst remake I have ever seen. The graphics look like they were upscaled by an AI instead of being upgraded by a human being. These new graphics have made the game worse in a few regards, for example in some story cutscenes where the characters look distraught in the original, now with the new graphics the characters faces are just the default face they make in the open world. There are also an unbelievably large amount of bugs. From getting stuck inside a tree to characters textures being corrupted, making it look like they went into a paint shop and head butt every single can of paint in the store. I am being %100 genuine when I say I’d rather play the mobile version. This is Rockstars Cyberpunk 2077. Actually no, at least the bugs In Cyberpunk some of the bugs had me on the floor rolling in laughter. This is a huge waste of money and frankly I wish I bought Battlefield 2042. If your considering buying this, for the love of all that is holy don’t. Just buy the mobile versions.… Expand

    In Gta sa mad dogg won't jump and you will end up mission failed no matter how you try. In Gta vice city there is a mission called gun runner you most smash the crates and pick up the weapons from crates but there is bug not fixed yet the crates cannot be smashed I tried different ways but doesn't work.     Some features which added charm to the games have been removed, when I fly an aeroplane high in San Andreas you can see the whole map at the same time which makes it feel tiny and less immersive, the fog was in the original game from 2004 to make the map feel bigger than it really was.

    Fiquei com a sensação que podiam ter feito mais, jogo idêntico ao antigo só que com shaders e mais bugs, os bugs e o jeito que estragaram o jogo cheio de defeitos foi horrível, entregaram o jogo de qualquer jeito sem ao menos ter um esforço pra entregar o jogo redondo

All they had to do was some line like(CL_DRAWFOG 1)(or something like that). (well GTA VC looks good without fog as it represent miami and it sets the whole thing well) but gta 3 and gta sa feels so weird, the whole thing is too lazy.well they should had atleast given an option to increase and decrease the distance of the fog(and also an option to turn of the fog.)     NO LAUNCHER EVER REQUIRES YOU TO HAVE A INTERNET CONNECTION FOR PLAYING SINGLE PLAYER TITLES. Well steam works. orgin works(orgin is made by EA and it WORKS)Epic games works(but has to enable offline login in settings). ubisoft connect works. BUT ROCK STAR LAUNCHER. (seriously. apart from gta v and rdr online there is no online games in there i suppose.) Rockstar launcher wont work even when i have to play a stupid single player title?    … Expand

    If this review can save 1 person $60 I’ve done justice. Grove Street Games (formerly War Drum Studios) shamefully ported over their shameful port of their 2010s mobile versions. There is literally a two part series, about 45 minutes a piece, by Vladim M covering why those ports were so bad. And every bug and issue is present in these new re-releases…. Plus more!     This is not a remaster, but a real piece of sh*t.
    The remaster looks worse than the original. Many animations are cut. The graphics are terrible. Models are like plastic. The car is damaged worse than the original. In short, this is a complete failure.

    Tons of bugs, created based on the worst port for the game (nintendo switch) then they used AI to upscaled everything, then called it done. Worst remaster ive ever played. On top of that playstation isnt doing refunds. Worst experience.

Bugs everywhere, bad characters and NPCs, strange rain, no physics improvements, no free sights on vehicles, no sound remastering, recycled GTA SA icons and sounds, among other issues. The price charged doesn't make any sense for a game like this...

    Totally upsetting, especially Vice City. Menu sounds that been replaced with ones from SA, Tommy looks obese VS original game where he has slim and hot. They didn’t even re-rendered 3D parts from game’s intro, they just took the 2003 game footage and put stupid filter on it. Disgusting, I’m asking my money back.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is by far one of the most shameful and pointless compilations since the Silent Hill HD collection. Where to start?

    Well for one, most of the iconic music is missing, that by itself gives it a zero out of ten. The music is CRITICAL to the entire feel of those games and most of the best tracks are just gone. Its not really a "definitive edition" if its missing content now is it. The games just aren't the same without "You dropped the bomb on me" or "Billie Jean"

    But that's not all. They all run like **** most of the time too (especially on switch) despite the source material being decades old. There is no reason a PS2 game with some ****ty bloom and lighting effects smeared over it on the crappy unreal engine can't run on the switch. The switch can run breath of the wild but not GTA3. The PC, PS and Xbox versions aren't great ether. This isn't even a Spyro Reignited situation where the first game is pretty ok but the other two feel half finished. Every game here sufferers in some major way unforgivable way.

    Some of the changes ruin the atmosphere. San Andreas doesn't have fog anymore which is both unrealistic for the California setting but also makes the world feel empty and like a toy trainset when flying high up. The games are also full of misspellings, look at any random sign and I promise with a 99% chance the signs will be spelled wrong. All the games are way too dark and the rain looks white and thick like God **** on you specifically because the rain doesn't even look like its happening anywhere but directly on you and only you. Lots of little things where changed that just suck, like all the menus use San Andreas sound effects now for no reason. Hell, San Andreas isn't even based on the original, its the ****ty mobile version we got back on the PS3/360. Its full of glitches and technically issues not on the PS2 original.

    These games somehow look significantly worst then the PS2 versions. The character models are Lovecraftian monsters. Candy Suxxx, Denise and Ryder are particularly awful looking. Asuka is cross eyed and worst of all the three protagonist are butchered to comedic proportions. Tommy Vercetti looks like a greasy Seth MacFarlane and has weird fingernails. Claud Speed looks on the verge of depression all the time and CJ looks like **** Shrek. Sure, the Grand Theft Auto series has always struggled with humans. The games always looked a generation behind when it came to character models but these are by far the ugliest humans the series has produced so far.

    For a "Definitive edition" a whole lot of things are worse and there isn't much new. The new mechanics like third person aiming, checkpoints, GPS and the weapons wheel are weak new additions and could have been easily done with mods to the existing games (Oh, wait Take 2 hates those never mind) Now don't get me wrong they are neat inclusions but for a "Definite edition" you'd expect more. Like what if they added cut content like the skate board in San Andreas or some of the cut missions. Or better yet what if it had an extra campaign where Claud, Tommy and CJ team up to do a bank heist or something! But (To rant about remakes for a bit) that would require effort and be something cool that actually make the games even better then they are. No we are in the age of bull**** remakes that are JUST the original game running on Unreal with a graphics mod on it. This isn't a problem with just this game but all these remakes we keep getting in general.

    I'm sick of the Spyro Reignited type of remake that is just the original but with motion blur and ugly bloom everywhere running on a ****ty engine that should be retired already. A lot of people are suckered into this like "Wow look its that thing I liked as a kid but now its new again!" but honestly I find most of these insulting like "You don't have to play that ****ty old version this is the new shiny version! **** those people who worked hard back in the day with much less. We come and misunderstand the intention of the originals and updated it with modern memes and **** Ok well, the game industry keeps changing, what happens in three years from now when this new one is outdated too? Oh what, the new reinvigorated, refurnished version is old now too! Oh wow its almost like that was a waste of our time and you should have just made a new game! Did these games even need to be remade? They are slightly rough around the edges compared to games now but they are old. Everyone and everything gets old and that's fine. They are by no means unplayable just because "Gasp, there is no third person aiming in 3 and Vice city" same thing with Spyro "Oh god, the game is not in wide screen and L and R control the camera hide your children" Just get over it. Games out right now will suffer the same thing later anyway so just let them be old and enjoy it for what it is. Maybe focus on the next actual game instead of **** up games that where fine.

    This is the worst remake/remaster of a game ever created. The GTA series is iconic and this is a stain on the reputation of the trilogy. The games should've never been remastered. Instead, how about this, Rockstar, announce GTA6...

    At this point I'm convinced the executives at Rockstar have milked the company dry buying mega yachts, bunkers and nightclubs.
