    Rubbish microtransactions, always online requirements when servers are down, "pay to win", horrific communication and no desire to listen to fans. This is the most 'un-Playstation" game I have ever encountered.

    80 euros for this only to be aggressively forced toward incredibly expensive microtransactions to pick up rare cars is DAYLIGHT ROBBERY and utterly disrespectful.
    I bought a GT DD Pro set for this game. It is going back and I am getting a refund. I was also going to buy PSVR2 for it when available. Not now. Screw you Sony and Polyphony.    … Expand

    Micro transactions galore and always online announcements after release. And after a 24+ hour shutdown dev gives excuses like every other big title of the same nature these days. Forza absolutely has Gran Turismo beat in the car racing category now. I refuse to pay to play or pay to win. Such a shame for what was one of the best franchises.     Where to start. The micro transactions? Always online? No, what broke me is the nerfing of the Fishemans Ranch credit grind. I waited so long for this game and now it has turned into a big steaming pile of crap.

    Bitterly disappointed. As usual a games company wants to charge players £70 up front, then continue to gouge them with micro transactions to progress. And now, a game which you can only play online has been offline for more than a day. Total joke, getting a refund

Huge fan of the series and have played since the beginning on a copy with Japanese instructions struggling to figure out how to complete the licenses. 4 days of nostalgia and corner cutting bliss until yesterday. Hate to say it but I want my money back and see it better spent on Grid Legends. Online only is an insult to all who purchased this nonsense.Locked out after day 4 of playing.     Polyphony Digital should not get away with these kind of greedy manoeuvres. Enabling micro-transactions after critic reviews are up and then making in-game economy terrible - forcing users to spend money to avoid pointless grinds with an outdated AI. Even online races bring almost nothing to the table, great way to get people into Sport mode there (/s).

    Disgraceful! They have managed to corrupt such a great series. Online only play even in single player, initial release bugs causing long game lockouts and worst of all… MICRO-TRANSACTIONS in a full price game. We need stand up against this so any developer doesn’t dare attempt this again!!! Just shameful :(

    What else can I say besides online only is stupid, it’s impossible to buy any good cars without grinding for hours or paying with real money, and I can’t even play because the servers are down. They owe everyone a refund, this is atrocious. It’s a shame because the actual gameplay is really fun.

    Great game completely ruined by the greed of PolyPHONY pushing microtransactions in a £70 title. Drastically cutting credits earnt from racing in their latest update after all reviews are in from the main media sites is underhanded & disgusting.

    This review is in direct response to update 1.7 cutting all the race payouts to drive players to micro transactions. Before the update I would have recommended the game but now I just feel cheated and as you can read, so do a lot of people. MTX does not belong in a game we paid full price for. You cannot sell cars for credits like you could in every other GT game.

    Set up for micro transaction, not to be fun. No way to get the Gran Turismo experience of previous games without spending more money. PD is breaking the game to make it worse than it already is. Do not spend your money on this game. It needs to be fixed before it is worth even $10

    A full priced Free to Play game with little to none playable content. Forced permanent online, even for single player, it is a game you cannot own. Forced micro-transactions everywhere, to make it worse the game has seen an update to drastically reduce race payouts, and players are not allowed to sell their cars. The worst pay to win game ever.
    Do not buy this game.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
