    What a joke! You have to be online to play single player? They release a new patch that halves rewards for coin to force you to buy more. Then to top it off the servers go down for 30hrs plus and make game unplayable??? Wow the greed. Did they employ someone from EA or Ubisoft to mastermind this?     I initially looked past the pretentious atmosphere. I always was dubious of the network requirement, dated list of cars, and artificial scarcity. Corporate greed ruined this one. Give it 6 months if you’re on the fence. There will be hundreds of copies in a $5 bin along with Battlefront 2 and Cyberpunk 2077.

    100 Euro für 25thAnni Version verlangen und dann noch so 'nen künstlichen Druck erzeugen für den Kauf der Ingame-Währung ist 'ne Frechheit. Die Preisgelder sind insgesamt zu niedrig angesetzt, da braucht keiner mit Langzeitmotivation kommen. Hätte ich gerade Zugang zu GT7 (Wartungsarbeiten dauern länger als geplant), dann hätte ich hier nichts geschrieben. Warum macht man hier den Fehler und kommuniziert den Status der Wartungsarbeiten nicht sauber und öfter? Die wenigsten Menschen haben Probleme damit wenn's länger dauert, aber ein regelmäßiges Feedback darf da nicht fehlen.

    Honestly the game is fantastic but spending 100€ on a “freemium” game (Anniversary Edition) with online only option is not acceptable. Since the pre longed maintenance was announced over 24h ago, PD stood radio silent. Please fix the MTX dependence and let us just enjoy the game!

    what is not ok: microtransactions, connection requirements for singleplay (cafe, story mode, split screen coop), updates shorten race prizes making it almost impossible for a casual player to acquire an end game car, 24+ hours offline with no updates nor comments from the company and I can't use the cars I own on split screen (this is really bad) kind of regretting    gameplay OK

    Terrible: Tiny car list, Online-only for entire game despite it being a mostly single player experience which is totally unnecessary and stupid, PD communication about over extended "maintenance" while the game has been totally unplayable for over 31 hours now, stupidly expensive cars requiring real money on top of the already high game cost, rigged useless roulette system, nothing to do after cafe menu, micro transactions that were withheld until after reviews were finalised, poor payouts for winning races relative to the cost of vehicles and modifications, really stupid and frustrating used car dealership system.

Not only is this a very anti-consumer practice, the roulette tickets are also rigged to give you the crappiest reward 80% of the time. How is that a "roulette"?     MTX grindfest. Would be acceptable if this was free to play but I payed $70 for this. Not to mention, I bought the game and can't play the bulk of the game because they screwed up a patch. Stupid decision to make the game always online

    When it worked it was a great game however the requirement to be online to play just the single player mode means the game is completely unplayable when there's server maintenance.

    Requires always online, even for single player. when server is down, the game is unplayable. the whole game is made for MICROTRANSACTION. One Jaguar costs 12Mio. Cr. so you need to grind 22 to 26hrs. in races, or spend 120€/$ for ONE car. its ridiculous. worst policy I've ever seen. even worse than EA.

    I am so disappointed with this game. This is not a Gran Turismo game, this is a money grab, a soulless shell of the franchise and a piece of corporate crap.
    Bring back the career mode, bring back single player experience (always online is garbage!) or give me my money back. I feel I've been completely misled on what this game actually is.

    Bought the game over 24 hours ago. Haven't even been able to play because servers have been down the whole time, and they don't even let you play SINGLE PLAYER without a CONNECTION. I feel completely robbed, I wish I had bought a physical copy so I could get my money back. All excitement I had is gone after this joke of a technical issue.

    Predatory F2P style microtransactions in a 70 dollar game. They just released a patch to nerf race rewards and lengthen the grind because not enough people were buying their BS microtransactions, and this patch has caused the game's servers to be down for over 24 hours, rendering the game unplayable as 90% of its content requires an internet connection (including single player modes).     I never saw a game maintenance longer than a day. The game is just like a DLC of Gt sport but cost you $60. Also, you need to buy if you want the car, they reduce the awards of track to “motivate” you to buy credit through your credit card.

    No offline mode, no multiplayer if server is down. Disappointed!

    Absolutely Terrible idea from polyphony to have done 7 online only for gt sport i understand that it was online only as the whole idea behind that game was to be focused online but for a story mode based game like gran turismo 7 hell no i'm going back to forza 7 at least there we don't rely on the servers to play our game

    Dont get fooled into thinking you're about to buy the same experience you're familiair with in GT games.
    This feels like the black desert of racing games right now.
    Its a game about collecting cars, yet in order to do so you basically have to say goodbye to your friends and loved ones for over a year to be able to actually complete that collection.     Youll have to cough up your soul to have a chance at ever completing this game.
    Or be wealthy enough to buy these cars in real life, and use this game to roleplay as yourself.
    Such a shame because the gameplay is actually really entertaining, but the studio turned this game into a horrible car accident you wish you were looking at from the opposite lane.

    Bought the game full price day after release day. I was able to put in a good 80-100 hours before "Server-gate". I loved the gameplay, as a whole. Graphics are incredible. Brought me back to my youth with nostalgia racing at all these tracks again. BUT... there is a heavy push for micro transactions, making it very difficult to get enough money through normal gameplay to get any of theBought the game full price day after release day. Then we go a whole day with servers down with almost no communication only to come back a day later when they're up to find out they've cut rewards so we make even less money now. We all know this is due to their microtransactions.     Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
