    I really wanted to enjoy this game and bought the £90 version for the PS5. Can't believe how boring it is now you have to grind luke crazy to get anything worthwhile. I also play Forza and due to what PlayStation and Polyphony have done to this game I will just be playing Forza going forward. It was an expensive £90 mistake!! This will make me think twice before I think about preordering aI really wanted to enjoy this game and bought the £90 version for the PS5.     The fact that you've created a game with such potential and destroyed it with MTX and an underhanded money grab is just astounding.
    You waited for critic reviews to come out and then immediately patched the game to nerf race rewards. Basically entrapment. It's the most underhanded, disrespectfal treatment of long time    I've bought every GT game ever released. I will never buy another.

    Where to start? The game has over 400 cars but hardly any of them are available at one time. You have to wait for the used car dealership to cycle through the cars. You can’t play the campaign without a internet connection and the latest updates have completely nerfed the payouts. They could have made a great game but instead decided to create an abomination that is very annoying to play.Where to start?     For being deemed "The Real Driving Simulator", there are A LOT of overlooks in the physics model. Oversteer is almost uncontrollable, unlike in a real car. Momentum transfer is horrid. Not worth $10, let alone the $70.

    I got this game to be able to drive cars I’ll never be able to afford. With update 1.08 they made it so that I’ll never be able to afford it in the game as well.

Then they shut the game down for 2 days to dramatically reduce the in-game rewards to force MACRO-TRANSACTIONS. $40 of real life money per car!!!!     The insane micro transactions and always online just to play the game in single player is complete BS. Honourable mentions also include the rigged roulette system for engine swaps which was a feature everyone was looking forward to.

    I’m disappointed with the microtransactions, lack of offline mode, low paying races, high cost of cars, Polyphony’s response to everything and roulette tickets only ever giving the lowest tier reward. Other than that, it’s a pretty good game. I’d normally rate it a 5 but I’m giving it a zero out of principle

    Payed 100€ for the Digital Deluxe edition. Feel disappointet. Lack of Racetracks and Grind is terrible and the Microtransactions are a Joke. Nice driving but I don't really feel like buying cars or tuning Equipment cause making Money is too time intense. After 1 Week of playing it just got booring...

    I can belivit, a great saga complete lost: 1. Microtransactions. 2. Ugly graphics for a ps5 game, a few improvement from gt sport. 3. Bad menus
    4. Complety dark scenarios
    5. Not realy simulator, just the more powerfull cars always win

    Loved the series ever since I was a kid playing the original, trading out with friends, or racing home after school because we wwre leaving the playstation on to do the endurance races and whatnot will always be a solid memory.     Basically forced microtransactions if you want anything higher end if you can't set aside hours, if not days, of your life to dedicate to them. Always online garbage that renders the game useless if the servers go down (which they have) with a borderline offensive "sorry" message trying to justify said microtransactions.

    I get the whole collection thing, but half the fun of these games was building a collection YOU personally like. Forced to do menu races to get cars ill use 3 times max, never use or modify and they just sitt collecting dust. Just put a checkmark in my book that I had it and let me sell it. Could have bought multiple cars I actually WANTED by this point.

    If we could just have an option to sell our cars rather than "remove" them. I feel everyone would be alot happier.

    Many missing makes and models compared to six. I was excited to see my Stagea again... guess I should've looked at the car list before purchasing, oh well. That however, leads me to beleive there will be a bunch of expansion content. Which is cool, but 90% of it is probably going to cause you to remortgage your home to afford the cars...

    Some cars that were in sport, now cost 10x what they did in that game. Get ready to spend 200$ if you don't have the time to dedicate to it. Because you won't have any fun online. All the lower PP lobbies that "race for fun" have 2 people driving against the line up ruining the races and any higher one are just Hyper cars that demolish anything that isnt near their level.

    Not to mention slort had 125 or so cars, GT7 has a little over 400. Gt6 had over 1000... and I know some of them were just varying trim levels. Still a massive margin for this onsole generation.

    Seems myself and everyone else I've talked to feels the roulette cars are a joke or rigged. Before you even fully regist what you could win you automatically seem to ALWAYS get less than 10k credits from them. Absolute dissapointment. Just press the button get up, walk away, get a drink or snack because by the time your back you'll have a "WOW congratulations! Here's 5000 credits!" Majorly disappointed with this. I know alot of people are review bombing it, just cause. But, in my opinion, I would say either wait untill its fleshed out and we have the option to sell unwanted cars and the always online is gone (which I know won't happen), or get this at a massive discount. Mobile phone app levels of microtransations from what feels like is a f2p AAA title...    … Expand

    plus the gameplay, mission, championships were so short.... tracks that have been on since gt1 have been taken off

    good luck trying to get anything with the roulette wheel

    18.5million in game credit or $200 real dollars for McLaren F1 is utterly insane.

Withholding micro transaction plans from reviewers before their reviews went out: reducing all race costs by over 50%, so you have more incentive to buy credits with real money; boring campaign mode in the cafè; no events as fun ways to make credits; ridiculous pricing on cars; barely gettingI never write reviews, but needed to state my opinion to warn people. You are also gonna have to spend LOADS of money on tuning and maintenance if you want to be competitive online, or make your cars fun, which is ridiculous. I've spent more money tuning than I have actually buying cars...

    The roulete system is definitely rigged as well. I've completed all 39 cafè's and have done many daily workouts, and have not gotten anything other than $10,000 or $5,000 credits. 95% of the time I get that, and the other 5% I've gotten a new engine or new muffler... I've never won any of the big prizes

    If you wanna continue talking about bad fan service, their servers were down for 24 hours, and they never gave anyone a free gift, as a "sorry you couldn't play this $80 game you just bought." They could've at least given us a free roulette (even though I'd probably win only 5,000 credits). That's time I could've spent making credits to saving up for their absurd pricing for tuning, maintenance and cars.

    Some positives is that it is a very fun game. The racing feel is awesome, the cars and tracks look incredible, the sounds of the vehicles is great, and the menu layout is very nice; however, the major annoyances ruin this game to the point where I don't even wanna play it anymore; we play video games like Gran Turismo because we cannot afford these cars in the real world; now, thanks to poly/sony, I can't even afford cars in a video game... creating realworld prices in a video game, and making it so difficult, grindy and boring to make credits, is NOT the way to go, and is not fair for people who can't just fork money over to pay for a competitive car to use that week, or to use a car they've always dreamed of owning, or to just collect and try all the great cars the game has to offer. There are cars in GT sport that you could buy for $3, that you now have to buy for $40 in GT7??? How does that even make any sense???

    There is also some BAD track exploits and penalty systems online. Can't even count how many times I've been rammed, and I'm the one who gets the penalty because I couldn't stop myself from hitting the barrier... Then I just see the other player go off, sometimes free from penalties, or with only a 2 second penalty. Meanwhile, I'm completely out of the race, now...

    Don't even get me started on GT music rally; it's stupid, boring and no one wanted it.

    It honestly pains me to rate such a beloved game such a low score, but this is what we have to do to invoke change from greedy corporations like Sony. It's a shame 7 doesn't hold a candle to previous entries. I truly hope things change and Gran Turismo can return to it's former glory. But until that happens, it's 0 stars.

They even made a gambling mini game designed to entice you to drop your own money for the prizes while offering highly expensive cars with time limits to purchase. It's grubby and under-handed.     Needs to be connected to Sony servers, so when you loose internet connection or theyr servers are down you can’t really play the game. (Which just happened for 30 hours)

    Also the progression in the game is now painfully slow, thanks to wanting you to spend more real money. No way this profession rate would be like this of micro transactions wasn’t in the game.

It looked good for the critics, after which the basic economy of the game was completely overhauled into bringing ACTUAL MONEY into the game. The critics reviewed one game, and everyone else got the other one. It is incredibly saddening that not even video games are safe from investor/speculator greed, and that Mr. Yamauchi thinks James or Cameron Glickenhaus is the average Gran Turismo player. I can hardly believe that the working class could be priced out of A VIDEO GAME, yet here we are... Unless Sony/Polyphony Digital/Kaz actually starts listening to its players, this surely a sign as any that Gran Turismo will end here, when hubris allows its creators to defend such blighted tactics.     Suite à la dernière mise à jour je décide de lui attribué cette note. En effet la mise à jour a considérablement cassé le jeu. De longue cession de farming sont obligatoires pour acquérir des voitures. Ce qui est scandaleux dans un jeu de course. De plus si vous souhaitez acquérir ces voitures rapidement il vous faudrait passer au micro transaction.     Also, take the always online requirement off, it’s a horrible experience as well. The infamous outage only shines light on another problem that Sony created at the expense of paying customers.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]
