    Alway online DRM. Game can not be played offline. Not even single player can be played offline. Microtransactions are also ludicrous and anti consumer. Not woth buying.

    I've played every gran turismo game except for 6 because by that time i had ready moved onto the ps4. And Gran Turismo 7 makes me genuinely sad..... This game has went from an automobile enthusiast game to a micro transaction enthusiast game. Not to mention the online only **** I won't be playing gran turismo 7 anymore and i will not recommend it to anyone unless something is done.

    Game is online only. Paid 100 euro's for 25th anniversary edition, only to not be able to play the career when there is a server maintenance. Stop pushing those microtransactions! Get it out of the game and give us a normaal ingame economy like we did with earlier GT games. PD, stop being greedy and give back to the players instead of trying to rip them off asking 20 euro for 2millionGame is online only.     Always loved the GT franchise and was thinking in buying GT7 but I can't stand MT'S they have no place in a 70€ game. Congratulations polyphony/sony you have lost customer.

    This game started out as a great game, loved every minute, I have happy to grind away to buy cars and then it all changed with the update. It's very clear to see that the update proved that this game is more about microtransactions that a racing game. Why cut the credits, why have such high prices.

They don't want people to mechanically play certain tracks over and over, well what do you think people were going to do and have done in every other GT game. Halving the credits doesn't solve this, it makes it worse and it pushes people to buy credits from the store. Shame on you. I was hoping this would go back to the originals but it doesn't.     Seems like a bait and switch introducing microtransactions after reviews were finished, and changing the game economy to heavy handedly push users to buy in-game credits. For a full priced game to feel like a free to play cash grab is unacceptable in my view.

    Gran Turismo 7 was supposed to be a return to classic Gran Turismo. Instead it has fallen from grace completely with its ingame economy now looking worse then the Russian economy. The greed on display here is sad a already bad situation at launch which we were never warned about from reviews was made worse with patch 1.07. The price for cars compared to past GT games even GT sport isGran Turismo 7 was supposed to be a return to classic Gran Turismo. Как сказал их главный, он не хочет что-бы в игре катались по трекам несколько раз, зарабатывая деньги на новую машину. Проще говоря заносите деньги и покупайте что хотите, но особо не играя.     I’m so happy they allowed zero points for my review. Here are my top issues. 1) The biggest gripe. The game was built around micro transactions. I paid full price this game. I shouldn’t be required to pay another 100 a month if I want to get every rare car before it vanishes. I shouldn’t have to pay anything on a game that I already paid full for. 2) We found a races that had decent paidI’m so happy they allowed zero points for my review. Here are my top issues. 1) The biggest gripe. The game was built around micro transactions. I paid full price this game. I shouldn’t be required to pay another 100 a month if I want to get every rare car before it vanishes. I shouldn’t have to pay anything on a game that I already paid full for. 2) We found a races that had decent paid outs so we can buy some of the games cars in a somewhat reasonable but less than ideal time. The latest update cut the price rewards in half. Now it’s just plain unreasonable. They made the game worse for us after we bought it.

    3) Always on drm. Can’t play single player without internet. Last maintenance was over 30 hrs long. During that time you can’t play the game you paid for. 4) Server bugs deleting save progress. Because of it being always online you’re save progress is linked to the server. So even ps cloud saves can not recover your data if it gets lost on their server. Your just out of luck.    … Expand

    What's a big scam in the gaming industry!
    Paying top dollar to get a game where you need a system to play and still need a subscription to play online and still they make a micro transaction, always online and credits nerf!!! This is what gaming companies are trying to make a standard!

    A game that could revolutionize the car racing game genre but thanks to the greedy microtransactions it has become a huge disappointment. They already charge 70 usd for this game. It is not fair what polyphony digital/$ony is doing.

    Grinding was terrible in past gt games, now it’s even worse. People should be able to actually have a chance of collecting cars without needing thousands of hours of grinding.

You can't access your garage, career mode, tuning shop or the car dealerships. And to think I actually paid for the 25th anniversary special edition for almost $80usd. I feel like I've been robbed. In return I received a game that is designed to just take more of my money and the response of "please just wait while we figure out just how much we can get away with so you all will stop complaining".     This game is an absolute DISGRACE with microtransactions. Do NOT buy it. The strong ratings from the review sites don’t take this into account because the developers hid microtransactions until all the reviews were out.

    You earn hardly any credits once you’ve completed the cafe menus (short campaign mode), which is a clear design choice to tempt you into buying credits.

As soon as the server was cut I could not play the single player game (it makes me sick to my stomach that I wasted money on this, I could play that stupid real racing 3 on my phone for free if I wanted that experience). Then I find out they are nerfing the already low payouts for races, not to mention used cars like the GT-R from the mid nineties going for $369000 (that is just insane). The prizes for winning were still pinned to 1998, but the cost of the cars pinned to some insane currently inflated price tag, and then they cut it in half. That is just nuts.

    Sony and PD, why on earth would I even turn the game on again at this point. I haven't, it has sat unplayed for almost a week now on this news. I can't even understand the calculus behind the decision, unless it is just pure greed, again if I wanted to play a game like that I could just play that stupid mobile game real racing 3. I have no interest in F2P, and I certainly feel ripped off right now. I am angry that I even invested in a wheel and pedals to play this game and then this happened. What a bait and switch, what poor practice, what poor handling. I hope this game score hits 0.0 and lives in infamy for how to poorly handle your most loyal customers. Because what you are doing is sticking your thumb in the eye of the people who cared most about your system and your game. GT7 is the reason a lot of people even chose PS5 over Xbox SX... Well it used to be, it probably will be a reason people choose to not return now. Seriously, if I was in your shoes I would be fixing this today, not tomorrow, not next week, not in a month, today. Because, quite frankly, the damage you are doing to your reputation and the rep of this series is pretty close to irreversible.

    I hope you read these reviews, a lot of people are upset, and it is because you changed the fundamentals of a solid game into a cash cow for milking. Treating your customers with disrespect by breaking the game and MTX is always a way to lose money and support.    … Expand

    O jogo tem tudo pra ser um jogo incrível e muito melhor que o Sport, porém na ultima atualização tudo ficou claro

    O jogo ficou pay 2 win, simplesmente o servidor entrou em manutenção e ficou mais de 24h off, e nesse tempo você não conseguia jogar o jogo OFFLINE, simplesmente o jogo não carregada seu progresso ou seus carros, ou seja sem servidor ou sem internet você não joga. Além    O jogo tem tudo pra ser um jogo incrível e muito melhor que o Sport, porém na ultima atualização tudo ficou claro

    O jogo ficou pay 2 win, simplesmente o servidor entrou em manutenção e ficou mais de 24h off, e nesse tempo você não conseguia jogar o jogo OFFLINE, simplesmente o jogo não carregada seu progresso ou seus carros, ou seja sem servidor ou sem internet você não joga.

Well, you bought the game and all the content is on that disc or on your hard drive or SSD, but then the most impossible thing happen, you have    Why zero? Simple.
    When a game costs 70€ or dollars you expect to own the game and play it anytime you want, all you need is a basic for play, console, TV and electricity, but then someone thought of giving you an additional need, INTERNET. Well, you bought the game and all the content is on that disc or on your hard drive or SSD, but then the most impossible thing happen, you have internet but the servers of the game are down or in maintenance and you can't play YOUR GAME. This happened to all of us, but before it happened to me I tried to disconnect the internet and just try the game to see what happened, I was shocked, you can't do anything at all! All you can is play the arcade mode while the whole game keeps asking for internet, you will not have access to the cars you unlocked, not even if you want to know a bit more about the car in the arcade mode.
    To resume this story, I bought it and sold after a 2 days, even before the great disaster occoured, and I'm glad I did.
    People, don't buy a game that says internet required, those games should be free-to-play not a full game with a price tag of 70€ or dollars! Get away of this game and give them the proper message!    … Expand

    Long time fan of the series, bought a PS5 just for this game. A day after loading up, game goes down for 30 hours leaving me unable to play. When it went back up, the game is now full of atrocious microtransactions. In a £70 game! Avoid this title and studio, appalingly devious tactics which should be illegal.

    Yo tengo el juego digital la edición 25 aniversario y la caído por la actualización 1.7 a sido un desastre desde que se instalo la actualización dejo de funcionar por lo cual me indica que fue culpa de la actualización y cuando fui a jugar se estuvo más de un día entero casi dos sin poder hacer prácticamente nada me quedé sin el 95% del juego y luego además para rematarlo bajan lasYo tengo el juego digital la edición 25 aniversario y la caído por la actualización 1.7 a sido un desastre desde que se instalo la actualización dejo de funcionar por lo cual me indica que fue culpa de la actualización y cuando fui a jugar se estuvo más de un día entero casi dos sin poder hacer prácticamente nada me quedé sin el 95% del juego y luego además para rematarlo bajan las recompensas de casi todas las carreras en una clara intención de recaudar dinero aún después de aver pagado por el juego casi 100€ , estoy muy decepcionado, y me estoy planteando seriamente si dar por acabada la saga de gran turismo para mi .… Expand

    No offline mode, cars are extremely expensive and there is no effective ways to earn money without using microtransactions, this was one of my favorite franchises, however greed has get in to it and corrupted a once really enjoyable title, truly sad.

    I was excited to finally buy ps5 and among my first game I would have bought Gran Tourismo 7, until I found the reviews about all the unreal stuff they added in the game (micro t., Always online, small rewards...) and I made the decision not to buy the game with this current state. Sucks coz I really wanted to be the first among my friends to buy ps5 and to invite them for a race...

    They don't even know what they are selling.

    Oh and the multiplayer is not as straight forward as GT sport it has options for tuning which means you can't take a car and go straight to a race as you will definitely be plum last

    So unless you have ot interest in learning how to tune each car you will not be competitive in multiplayer races.

    Truly gutted, game play is good, visuals stunning, but macro transactions required to make reasonable progress, or grind the same races for days. Also carousel of despair is even worse than GT Sport and you can't sell duplicates of cars. Oh and another thing, buying mods, is a mare if you want an exhaust, different levels of exhausts will be hidden under the 5 different levels of tuning part, no easy way to see if you've already got a sport or racing exhaust in one place.

    I know it's a game that I still want to be playing in a year or two, I'll want to collect all the cars, but it will become so tedious I'm likely not to play it. And it wasn't as if it was a cheap game where the in game macro transactions was how they got their profit, this was £70.

I add that i tried the game with a G29 and it was awful contrary to GT6 with a G25.     I enjoyed this game thoroughly for the first two weeks it was out. Then the server issues, and credit nerfs happened. Also the comment from polyphony about keeping car prices grounded in reality were the icing on the cake. Sony, and polyphony are getting greedy and it shows. Do not buy, or defend this game.

But scummy, anti-consumer bait and switch with a different version for pre-release reviewers, aggressive pushing towards microtransactions, reducing in-game reward payments after 2 weeks to further push players into purchasing microtransactions ruined the game for it's entire player base within 14 days.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer.     Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
