    I don't see how the developers thinks it's okay to sell a game for £70 and then nerf the credit payouts (which was already a hard enough grind) all because they want to get more money in their pocket. It annoys me because the game does play really well and I've enjoyed the licences and missions and now I feel like I've got nothing else to do due to the world circuit races not appealing to me due to the low credit payouts. Really hope they sort something out soon so I can enjoy the game… Expand

    Is a love and I can not. the game itself is poorly planned. the game wants you to collect cars, they make you earn less credits to give them more value, however they give you half of them in events. the driving is incredibly satisfying at times. but uncontrollable in others, often giving the sensation of driving on water.     This game sucks. Don't Buy it because it still has a A$168.63 price tag. Its unpolished in nearly every way. Low race payouts, Cant sell any car, etc.

    First of all they took the game from Russian players after release. Added microtransactions, increased the cost of in-game purchases and require a permanent internet connection. This game would be 9/10 if not all of the above for 90 $.

    What a dirty move, release the game. Then after all the reviews are in introduce micro transactions and screw your fans by reducing the amount you can earn from races…. Not to mention the always online single player! You guys have ruined one of my favourite series!

Los coches se ven increibles si, pero la falta de contenido es alucinante, las fisicas de los coches no han cambiado desde GT4 practicamente. Hay los micropagos... 2 millones 20 euros, hay coches que cuestan 18.500.000...es inacceptable! It takes a bit over 1 hour grinding to buy a semi-decent car and to get the really expensive cars takes 10-30 hours of replaying the most efficient race over and over again which is absolutely ridiculous. You can buy the garbage microtransactions but they are stupidly overpriced as a semi-decent car costs about 10Was a good game until the game devs dropped the race rewards ridiculously. I feel that GT7 is praying on people and their nostalgia for the series during the PS2 era.     The game feels personally made by its creator but comes off as arrogant and biased. Japanese cars and manufacturers are given an inflated and unrealistic standing in car history. Nissan GTR is not in the same league as Porsche or Ferrari, as this game would have you believe.

    There is noticeable lack of classic manufacturers or cars that are historically relevant that have appeared in past games like TVR, Lotus, Lancia Stratos, Morgan, and more.

    The background music is also in poor taste and inconsistent which makes the game frustrating given the quality of soundtracks in the past.

    Also, i am not an online gamer, I'm a car enthusiast foremost. For this game to be internet reliant is absolutely unacceptable.    … Expand

    Don't play online(no desire to), yet constantly getting d/c and have to grind cr for a $70 game. Offline users shouldn't have to care or deal with anti cheat and cumbersome realism, what next? Going to add gas and real price to reflect on that too? I'm done with greed, back to Assetto Corsa. Good bye my beloved childhood game.

    Der karrieremodus besteht aus sinnlosem gelaber wo ein Typ mit nem Foto von euch fordert dass ihr ein menübuch von Autos ( 3 Stück) vervollständigt. Nach dem 39 Menü ist die lächerliche Kampagne vorbei ! Ich dachte zuerst dass sei nur der Prolog für die richtige karriere aber falsch geglaubt.     Another player displeased with the game's policies. Always on prevents the player from playing if there is maintenance on the server, it was the case a few days ago that took about 24 hours.
    And then the difficulty they put in the last updates to earn credits, forcing the player to invest in microtransactions.
    Being a paid game, I find Polygon's position deplorable.

    Real driving simulator? Really? 2 steps down from all what make GTS perfect. There are too many bad things, like nonsense power increasing and totally confused setting, but ok. It is only game.     2. To decrease the CR payout and use the lame excuse that this would reflect the real difficulty in earning exotic cars is nonsense. It's a video game or a fantasy to drive cars, to apply a change of currency earned after a patch is shocking, I can only see this as a move to push your user base to be more inclined to purchase Cr from your store.

    3. The Cr packages are insane. I worked out that in order to buy a car valued at 2,000,000 plus, it would cost around $40 - the same car could be purchased on GT sport for $5.

    4. Since the patch, the ability to sell used cars has been removed, again making it difficult for gamers to purchase cars which means more insanely grind times or purchasing overpriced credit packages from the online store.

    You should be ashamed of how you treated your loyal fan base. This will no doubt hinder your reputation with your fans after this stunt and a free bit of advice.. although I should charge you DLC in order to hear this. Sack your PR team! Your PR statement released after the 30 hour downtime was shameful and appalling, it's an insult to gamers intelligence and integrity.    … Expand

This is completely shameful of Sony to implement such as egregious system in a $70 game. I’ve bought every 1st party Sony game on PS5 so far at $70. No more. Sony doesn’t deserve the support unless they pull a complete reversal on this.

    Polyphony/Sony are being unfair to gamers, they gave out review copies before updating the microtransactions in the final game, hence the reviewers were rating a slightly altered game which favoured the reviews, now the game works similar to a mobile game where it's heavily dependent on the game credits and microtransactions to progress!!.

Und das obwohl das Spiel mich schon 99€ gekostet hat. Hab eigentlich die Lust an dem Spiel dadurch verloren. Da Spiel ich lieber was anderes oder wieder Gran Turismo Sport. Viele habe durch Gier schon Ihre Spiele kaputt gepatcht. It pains me to give such a good game a low score, but the underhand tactics they have done to push you into buying Microtransactions is deplorable. I say Micro bitterly, as they are no such thing. To buy all the cars in the Brand Central Dealership would cost the player £1210 if buying MTX, and that isn't taking into account the Extortionate cost of the cars in the Legendary Dealership that will set you back well over £100. Then they go and reduce the actual in game credits even further with the latest patch making it nigh on impossible to be able to save up enough credits without making this game your full time job.… Expand

    I bought this game for 70$ and have now to buy cars for around 200$ or to drive 2 weeks/8 hours to get this car. Sad that a refund is not possible.
    Also bad that I cannot continue in offline mode.

Economy in this game is horrible. Little rewards for races, roulette with very bad rewards, tires cost more than race rewards (you are forced to at least buy intermediates to be prepared for rain),Good physics on concrete.     I do not like mobile games as I abhor micro transactions. They ruin the game play as they are always designed to make you spend more money. I was really hoping for this game to be truly great.     If consoles are now just taking on the same strategy as mobiles. making us pay a fortune in micro transactions, how can they justify making us pay £70 up front fort a game full of micro transactions? It should eb free-to-play.

    I am hoping Sony respond this to outrage and offer full refunds - I want a refund. I do. not want to spend my afternoons farming in a racing sim and they can take a running jump if they think I am going to pay to buy in game cars with real money. Not fun, not right. I just wish I had realised this before purchasing it.

    More like Grind Turismo 7.
    Impossible to obtain some epic cars for casual players. It's not even about skill. Just requires endless grinds to earn money. Or of course buy credits through micro transactions. Although I would't classify these as micro transactions. Might as well head to a bank and apply for an actual car loan to buy cars in game. I'll go back to enjoy Forza Horizon 5. Thanks

    Which is called "REAL DRIVING SIMULATOR", those cars that you can't afford in the real world,

    Besides losing graphically to a game that is already 5 years old (Forza Motorsport 7) this GT 7 has everything negative to not work, online only + micro transactions.
    I see this game as a service and that's something that doesn't interest me, what a disappointment.

    Been playing GT since the PS1, and pre-ordered this for my PS5. I've seen all the negative reviews and thought I'd have a look at some of the rarer cars. It costs approx £150 to buy credits for a Mclaren F1 or Porsche 917. Nobody is going to do that. They've also reduced in game credits for race wins!

    Very expensive for a game that doesn’t work at all when the servers go down. The offline mode is useless and the business model of pushing people to pay for even more via micro-transactions unless they play for hundreds of hours is disappointing from a series I’ve always enjoyed playing.

For £70 I expect a full complete package, not to then be aggressively milked of my wages to play with the cars I expected to be able to earn through normal gameplay.     1. Impossible to win, even at the easiest setting - I have been playing GT Sports for the past 2 years and I have won Gold in all the Lessons and all the races that I chose to play in.

I’ll echo each and every other negative review regarding the micro transactions and the need to be connected to servers even for the single player campaign, which brings me to my biggest problem with the game, where is the single player campaign? I’ll echo each and every other negative review regarding the micro transactions and the need to be connected to servers even for the single player campaign, which brings me to my biggest problem with the game, where is the single player campaign? We were duped into thinking it was going back to its roots with its focus on the original campaign mode, it could’nt be further away if it tried! Once the cafe menus are done in a handful of hours and they throw a car at you after EACH 2-3 lap easy race, one of which you’ll need to do the next menu or two (apart from the pick up race which you need to buy one yourself, and there’s only one option to buy as you win the only other pickup in the game as the prize for that race) there is literally nothing to do! I’m not interested in multiplayer or sport mode at all, license tests are quite easy to gold and there’s no real point doing the IB, IA or S as there are absolutely no races or championships that require them, as for the ridiculous prices cars? No incentive to buy them either as guess what? There’s absolutely no races where you need them either! For £90 I expected a full campaign mode, instead I got what feels like a warm up and pointless cars thrown at me that will never get looked at let alone used in the game, used car market is bare bones and only one car gets changed each day, no variety in cars, pushes towards gr3 cars as that’s the only 3-4 races really left after the career mode is done, they’ve killed the series with this game! There are single races in GT1-5 that take longer to complete than this whole career mode! I didn’t pay £90 (anniversary edition pre order) for a game to have to wait months on end for the content to be drip fed or felt pressured into spending more money on micro transactions! No content, no offline single player, rolling starts where you start at back every time half a lap away from leader so you need to use a car quicker than the pack to catch them in time taking the whole racing fun out of it, no incentive to grind the one 5 lap race over 300 times to buy an overpriced car that doesn’t have any specific races for it, pathetic payouts for the races pretty much forcing those who want those overpriced and useless cars to pay their own money for over priced credits, mclaren F1 would cost over £180 in micro transactions, in a £70-90 game, let that sink in!

    This could have and should have been the best in the series, it doesn’t even come close to the game GT2 and 4 were! What is there, and it takes only a couple of days to see it all, is stunning, the graphics and gameplay are great, there’s just no where near enough of it! If I could give less than a 0 I would! Save your money and wait 3-4 years when the content is there and it only costs £10 in a sale    … Expand

    Played through single player mode in 4 sessions. Now what?

    Do the three daily (actually weekly) online races over and over?

    Got from slow FF cars to supercars in a couple of hours. Way to easy to make money and way to quick progression.

    The old classic GT games lasted months of grinding to get the cars and progress.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
