    Things were going very well until the latest update. Knowing that I couldn't play a single player game without the servers being up was a great surprise. And it turns out maintenance is usually at prime playing time in my time zone

    If you haven't already bought this game, like my dumb ass, skip it. The game itself is great but you simply won't have lot to do after a while. I bought this game only because of love for cars and racing and developers have made it ridiculously difficult to get some of them. Anything you want to do related to your cars, you need credits and they are rare. I haven't finished the menus, butIf you haven't already bought this game, like my dumb ass, skip it.     Impossible to earn credits and you have to upgrade parts in most vehicles to make any race viable otherwise yours took castings no chance making it to 1st in 3 short laps when you start in last position every campaign race. And they announced they're making it harder to earn credits and raising the price of the vehicles even more than its predecessor Gosport.

    Random and poor car selection, ingame prices ridiculous high and ingame earnings very low, forces microtransactions everywhere. You have to grind like hell to get one (1) better car ( not to mention the prices for tuning) or pay like 120 Euros for an higher priced car… why polyphony?

Unfortunately, they are ruining everything they worked so hard to build for. They wanted to make this game fun and accessible for everyone, however they did just the opposite. Reducing race rewards when it was already hard enough to earn credits in the first place is laughable and hypocritical. Like others are saying, you literally have to grind the same races for days or buy over $100 worth of credits just to buy ONE CAR!!! This is completely unacceptable and a huge slap in the face for GT fans and casual gamers who have lives outside of the game and just want to get on and hop into a race. Not only did they reduce the rewards, but the roulette ticket system was already cheap and rigged, and car invitations are very time-sensitive which can create FOMO. Polyphony won't admit it, as we've already seen in Kaz's weak *** apology, but the fact is they are just another GREEDY CORPORATION looking to MAXIMIZE PROFITS by PUSHING MICROTRANSACTIONS that aren't even worth much at all. Thanks capitalism!

    Another huge issue with this game is that it is almost 100% unplayable offline. You cannot advance in story mode or do any missions or license tests which is absolutely ridiculous, because most of the modes in this game are NOT online multiplayer. Not only is this a problem when players want to play during maintenance, but this is another huge slap in the face to players who may not have or lose access to an internet connection.

    Polyphony Digital you have embarrassed yourselves by going against everything we thought you believed in. You wanted to bring new players into the GT series and make it fun and accessible for everyone, yet your product shows that you have done the exact opposite. You never really cared about the players. You only care about profits. Even though the graphics and physics in this game are amazing, you have done everything to push old and new players away, making this game completely unplayable. We will not accept your BS and will continue to fight for what is right for the community.

    Everything about this game is unbelievable, seriously how are you going to make this game online only, what if the servers were to shut down like they did a few days ago? chaos will ensue thats what will happen. The microtransactions! i’m so fed up with, especially after patching and nerfing the payouts! how are we suppose to buy these limited cars if we can’t even spend 6 hours just toEverything about this game is unbelievable, seriously how are you going to make this game online only, what if the servers were to shut down like they did a few days ago? chaos will ensue thats what will happen. The microtransactions! i’m so fed up with, especially after patching and nerfing the payouts! how are we suppose to buy these limited cars if we can’t even spend 6 hours just to grind for 2 million credits, 18.5 million for a mclaren, while yes i get they are trying to be realistic, but you might as well make the payouts realistic, i know damn well a racer who preforms in gr3 classes doesn’t get paid 5000 for 1st place. and don’t even get me started on the roulette tickets. absolutely rigged and you can’t do ANYTHING about it, you cant close the application and spin again in hopes give you a better item, no because the chances of you getting what you want in that roulette ticket, is the same chance of winning the damn lottery, payouts in the roulettes are ridiculous as well, 2000 credits for 1 stars most of the time, 5000 in the two stars, 3 and 4 stars should be giving you parts considering tuning is pretty expensive and it would atleast be nice to get a part for a car you OWN instead of a 1.8 million dollar car which you need to buy to apply the parts for. and my experience with the roulette have been frustrating, on my main account i got nothing but one or two gold bars (100k each) a ton of coins, and an invitation, i passed so many engine swaps it was so frustrating. in hopes to an engine swap, i made another account, spent two whole days grinding the game out, finishing, only to get the same thing in roulettes, only exception was getting one carbon drive shaft… i hope PD sees these critics and heavily changes their game, if they don’t then the game is only going downhill from here.… Expand

    5 years on GTSport with a no Fair colision system and in the First week of Gt7 they patched our money Race(farming) it's not Fair. The car setup on sport mode in gt7 is ALL messed up. No Fair races.And I have to mention the microtransaction mode , to expensive.

    I could never recommend this game to anyone...the latest update nerfed the payouts and pushes you towards microtransactions to earn the more expensive cars...the roulette wheel is a complete joke, give you the least valuable prize 95% of the time...plus you need to be online at all time to play the single player mode....so if their servers go down you are completely screwed out of your $70 game

    Story is wayyyy too short and grinding for 10 laps for 50k is absolute rubbish when the car you want is three million! 90 quid for the deluxe paid and now I have to pay 30 quid to get 4 million credits to buy a car I can't use if the servers go down. Hang your heads in shame PD you're scumbags!

From the absolutely INSANE macrotransactions ($180.00usd to buy a McLaren F1) to the preposterously egregious grinding to earn peanuts to the cringe-as-f@ck hand-holding avatars that can not be turned off to the mandatory internet connection to the undefeatable nerfing of your car EVEN IN NON-SANCTIONED CUSTOM RACES to the absurdly paltry payouts (1/10th of what they used to be) in custom races to the blatantly obvious boosting of other cars even when boost is turned off to the lack of any new tracks to the inability to buy 90% of the available cars to the horrific UI that makes navigation positively glacial to the dimwit rain application and finally the absolute sh!t, hack, phone-it-in, lazy, zero-effort "improvements" from Sport.

    Honestly I wish I could get a refund. The new update completely ruined the game. It’s super hard to get credits, unavailable for 24+ hours at a time, and generally unplayable cuz you won’t gain any credits to buy cars smh so sad this game really lost its appeal it’s a trap buyer beware

    Imagine paying full price for a game to only get a fraction of it's content. I thought I was enjoying the game but I've just been farming for credits for hours and realised that's not fun at all. The mclaren f1 is on sale for 17 million credits and I've only managed to accumulate 1.5 million in a weekend of grinding.

    After what seems like an age what has been delivered to us is a half-baked excuse for microtransactions.
    After completing the single player game in 2 days you're left wondering what's left.
    I regret adorning £70 on my pre-order.

Es gibt Leute die müssen Arbeiten und haben Familie. Die können nicht jeden Tag 10 Stunden spielen. Und selbst mit den gewünschten Microtransaktionen ist das nicht möglich. Denn so Micro sind diese Transaktionen auch nicht! Ich müsste mehrere hunderte, ja tausende Euro investieren um ansatzweise eine gute Fahrzeugsammlung zusammen zu bekommen. Wie macht man sich eines der eigentlich besten Rennspiele kaputt? So!!!!

    Added microtransactions after the reviews. Made the credit rewards for races worse in a recent patch. It takes dozens of hours of grinding races to buy any cars. $70 game that is designed to make you want to spend even more money to play it. Sony won't refund the game once you download it and now it is too late for me. Don't buy this game.

    The game has limited events with a short campaign , now with the latest patch existing races pay less and MTX is now the only real way to obtain cars it goes against everything GT was all about ! Greedy corporations ruin everything.

The rigged lotteries are a discrace, the micro transactions push is a DISCRACE and the payouts are laughable. As a long time fan of the series I was ok with how the game released, but now with the updates it’s completely broken. As far as I'm concerned when you pay $70 for something you should not have to give additional money and the developer has made it near impossible to earn a decent amount of income inside the game to buy cars without using physical money. They already have $70 of my money and I refuse to spend more money on Virtual cars when I can play other games like Forza horizon 5 and get a bunch of badass cars without paying for them. What's even worse than the micro transactions which were hidden from the initial reviews is that the game has kicked me out the very first time I tried playing it because the server went down I could only play for 20 minutes. Then I couldn't get into the game for about 30 hours because the server was down again when I try to play my second time. I asked Sony for a refund and they denied saying that they would not refund the game because I downloaded it. Of course I downloaded it I had to do that to find out it was broken. They started claiming I could not get a refund because of their policies. I said where in the policy does it say that you can charge me for a broken game and then they told me that I downloaded it therefore it can't be refunded even though the servers have issues and I can't play the game on the two occasions that I tried. Plus the micro transactions that were hidden from initial reviews of the game surprised the hell out of me. I also didn't know this was online only and their servers around reliable. Sony is the worst customer support I've ever seen and I would not recommend this game to anyone. I'll be waiting for the next Forza game on my xbox. Shame on you Sony for stealing money from hardworking people and hiding behind your policies and offering **** customer service.… Expand

    When I say GRAPHICALLY, I'm referring to how real (close to reality) the image looks, I'm not referring to frames per second or resolution.

    Honestly, my disappointment is such that I would rather pay this price for the SONY Drive Club game remastered for SONY PS5 than this SONY Gran Turismo 7 game that disappointed me horribly in terms of Graphics Quality.

    SONY, forget about Ray Tracing, we want Quality Graphics!

    When it comes to gameplay, I still prefer SONY Drive Club. The only things I like about Gran Turismo 7 are the Museum, the Car Mall, and the fact that it's the same Car Simulator that follows the pattern of the Gran Turismo series, in addition to keeping the same Tracks from the series, as I did.

    But Graphically, the picture is so disappointing that I feel that I was assaulted by the high price charged by SONY for this SONY GT 7 game with these graphics that when playing on SONY PS5, it looks like they are actually being run by SONY PS4 Pro when it is running. in "Performance mode", and appears to run on a SONY PS3 when running in "Ray Tracing mode enabled".

    But the worst thing about a game, which is marketed in physical media, is the internet connection required to play, especially Career and/or Single Player mode.
    In fact, I really liked being able to play with split screen, me and 03 friends competing, with the screen divided into 04, using the same Console.

    That's why it's not worth buying the SONY PS5 or the SONY PS4... oh, how much regret.... The best is GT 6 on SONY PS3, there's no way... Besides, I have a 3D Projector with Active 3D glasses, and I have many Blu-ray Disc 3D movies, but only SONY PlayStation 3 supports 3D.

    SONY PS5 and SONY PS4/PS4 Pro will have an advantage over SONY PS3 only in the fact that it supports SONY PS VR, but the graphics quality on SONY PS5 should be much better than SONY PS4/PS4 Pro on VR.

    Anyway, the best game for SONY PS4/PS4 Pro & SONY PS5 is without a doubt the game: SONY Drive Club.
    The last best SONY Gran Turismo was GT6 for Career mode, and GT Sport for graphics.

    But between GT Sport and Drive Club, I prefer Drive Club, especially since Drive Club's graphics are better even than GT7's graphics (which are already better than GT Sport's graphics).
    That is, Drive Club is better than all games in the Gran Turismo series, including Gran Turismo 7, Drive Club is better, especially in graphics quality.

    GT7 is better than GT Sport in graphics quality, but in gameplay, GT7 is the worst game in the history of the Gran Turismo series.
    GT Sport is better than GT6 in graphics quality, but in gameplay, GT Sport is the second worst game in the history of the Gran Turismo series.

    GT6 is the best game in the history of the Gran Turismo series.
    On SONY PS3, there is no better racing game than GT6.
    On SONY PS4/PS4 PRO, PS5 there is no better racing game than SONY Drive Club, although it has not been remastered even for the PS4 Pro, so there will never be a remastered version for the PS5.

    The studio that produced SONY Drive Club was shut down by SONY for making the game stupidly better (in graphic quality) and better looking than any other racing game, humiliating the Gran Turismo series games in such a way that SONY shut it down. the Studio that produced Drive Club, in addition, SONY forbade the remastering of the Drive Club game for SONY PS4 Pro and SONY PS5, as the game was so graphically beautiful that it would make people repulse spending money and play Gran Turismo games.

    Gran Turismo Sport was released to try to make people forget about Drive Club, but the failure of "advance in graphics quality" between GT Sport and GT7 is so massive that it's impossible not to compare it to Drive Club and note that both, GT Sport and GT7, are inferior to the Drive Club, graphically.

    I recommend your last GT game to be GT6, only available for SONY PS3. If you have a SONY PS4/PS4 Pro/PS5, I strongly recommend, just play Drive Club & Drive Club VR. Stop wasting time with Gran Turismo Sport and Gran Turismo 7!    … Expand

Core gameplay is good until you realise if you want to afford the most desirable cars you need to play the game as much as a full time job of spend a lot of money on micro transactions.     Grind turismo first gran turismo in 15 days completes all events for a game that was focused on single player is gt sport is more complete and challenging at this level finally changed the rewards down in races giving no alternatives to earn money other than repeating the same race dozens of times makes the game a bad game

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
