    It is a god Game, not a great Game, but a good Game. but the DRM just kills it. This Game require a DRM also for the single player Mode, that you need to be online AND the Servers need to be there. This means, this game will be waste in 2 years, after Sony will shutdown the Servers, even if you have a physical copy. We had a sneak peak the last two days, because after an update, theIt is a god Game, not a great Game, but a good Game. but the DRM just kills it.     So to the developers: You had done so much effort to get this Game a good Game, so much hours and hours and for what? to shut all this down after a few years? you should over think something like this, otherwise you will get bad critics and people will stop buying your games, if this is what you want, you have done all right.    … Expand

    First the graphics are not next gen. Second the physics are not the best in overall. Third requires permanent connection and if the servers goes down you will not be able to play the game as recently with the update 1.07, also the credits was reduced for all the races to pushing buy credits.

    I have loved Gran Turismo since GT2. GT4 is my bread and butter and I purchased a PS3, so I could play GT5 and GT6.

    I purchased a friend's PS4 in order to play GT7 as soon as possible. I wasn't blown away by the different things they've added like the cafe menu books and lack of different racing series. The server was down for more than 24-hours within the first few weeks for a game    I have loved Gran Turismo since GT2. GT4 is my bread and butter and I purchased a PS3, so I could play GT5 and GT6.

    I purchased a friend's PS4 in order to play GT7 as soon as possible. I wasn't blown away by the different things they've added like the cafe menu books and lack of different racing series. The server was down for more than 24-hours within the first few weeks for a game that I paid almost 24-hours and now the reward credits are nerfed. The reward tickets are weighted toward the lower level prizes and microtransactions are pushed in that cars are outrageously expensive and reward credits are low.

    Anyone that knows me, knows that I'm a huge GT fanboy. Not so anymore.

    Sony/Polyphony, let us say that you had a kid that loved racing games and that you made racing games. They come to you saying they need to use more of their own money to get a car they want and you are telling them that it's too bad and they should pay the money.

    Patch 1.07 showed how absolutely tone deaf these developers have become. The economy in this game was non existent in the first place and after a flat nerf too all earnings its easy to see that its you are being pushed into Micro transactions. Think about if for a second, the races wont even give you enough credits to change the tires of your cars(38k for tires).     I can no longer progress in my game and there is nothing I can do, I spent £70 on a game that a cannot play. Very dissapointed in the online only aspect, results in losing vast amounts of your time.

    I'm really not happy with the game. Cars take ages to buy because of the expenses. I regret buying this. It feels like every game I buy from Sony on the PS5 is a money grab. It might be time to change over to Xbox.

    La ou les choses se compliqué c'est quand on se décide de se faire un garage garnis de nos véhicule préféré. Pour    Malgré qu'il soit qu'une grosse maj de GT Sport, il reste très plaisant à jouer. Les permis, missions et gt café sont sympa à réaliser bien que le contenu solo reste très pauvre à l'heure actuelle. La conduite est très fun et le changement de dénivelé offre de bonne sensation.

    La ou les choses se compliqué c'est quand on se décide de se faire un garage garnis de nos véhicule préféré. Pour s'offrir les quelques 400 véhicules (- la petite centaine offerte avec les différentes activités du mode solo), il ne faudra "que" quelques centaines voir milliers d'heures de jeu (pour 1 demi million/heure avec une très bonne optimisation du temps + bonus "course parfaite" ou alors "que" 2 000€ (a 20€ pour 2M Cr) pour se les offrir via micro transaction. A savoir un peut moins de 200M Cr pour s'offrir tous les véhicules. A condition aussi d'avoir l'argent nécessaire lorsqu'elles apparaissent dans le garage occasion ou qu'on obtiennent l'invitation (à durée limitée afin encore une fois de forcer la main).

    Alors oui ce jeu perdurera dans le temps et donc il faut trouver un juste equilibre pour eviter de tout obtenir en 2 minute. Mais il y a une difference plutot notable entre tout obtenir en 2 minutes et 2 ans (ou alors avec un petit coup de pouce avec la CB)... Mais encore faut il que des joueurs soit encore sur ce jeu au vue de l'évolution qui est visiblement souhaité pour ce dernier.

    Gran Turismo 7 est un très bon jeu qui ne demande qua s'étoffer mais malheureusement pourrait sombrer à cause de son modèle économique qui est, en restant polis, fortement discutable.    … Expand

One reason for playing videogames is that dreams come true. PD/Sony are destroying dreams with their always-online-cash- garbage.

    The only good or strong phase of this game is the amount of content that offers, but, the only way to get all of that is paying for it or breathing to play, that's it.
    The gameplay is mediocre, it doesn't innovate. And you need to be online everytime you want to play.
    I just throwed 70$ to garbage.

    First u pay 80 bucks for a fullsize game - then afterwards they alter the prizemoney so u have to buy some credits to get along - shame shame shame.
    This guy Yamauchi says "they don't want people have to drive one race again and again to gain credits..." and hen they slice the reward so u have to drive it even more. Is this some kind of haiku?

    Malheureusement quand je l'ai acheté je me suis appercu que pour y jouer il fallait une connexion internet... manque de peau j'en ai une mais très faible qui flanche souvent.

    Si vous achetez une voiture et qu'on vous dit qu'aujourd'hui elle ne marchera pas vous ne pourrez pas l'utiliser, et que si elle n'est pas connectée à internet c'est mort également, vous feriez quoi ? Dans le JV aujourd'hui on tolère tout et n'importe quoi, ils nous prennent pour des pigeons !! Honte à Sony.     Les voitures d'occasion ca n'a rien a voir avec les anciens GT ou il y en avait pas mal, la c'est 15 bagnoles qui se battent en duel.
    Le nombre total est également ridicule d'autant plus que les concessions sont vides et que la moitié des bagnoles sont à gagner.
    Les musiques sont 50% nazes, ou sont les musiques de GT1 trop stylées ?
    Les tickets que l'on gagne sont également une masquarade on tombe toujours sur les trucs pourris.

    En plus avec la maj on gagne moins d'argent pour que Sony s'engraisse avec leur pay to win, une honte.

    The lobby system is a hack job. Cannot change lobby event settings once lobby is created. No lobby loadout saves. All basic features have been stripped when GTSport had them. Changing game design with a patch that caters to micro.. Than to require a online connection to play. I didn't buy a game to use as a plastic coaster.

    Microtransactions. What a disgusting money grab. Everything is tailored to make the user want to purchase in game currency. Can't use cars in other modes unless you unlock them first in career which is just grinding or pay to skip.

    Got this game at launch. I was excited to get started, then I had to wait through an unskippable 20 minute movie. Then, I had to drive an old car to music on a path to nowhere with no real explanation as to why before I could get started. The campaign mode started fine, but went downhill. The entire campaign can be finished with only a National B and National A license. The remainingGot this game at launch. I did it, though, looking forward to unlocking more enjoyable cars, equipment, etc. this morning, I discovered the game creator has decided that it was to easy to make money on those few races, and would rather us purchase in game currency with real currency, instead. He halved the prize money on those races, leaving me to either A) pay more money for a game I already spent a lot on, or B) do literally twice as many of the “grind” races to unlock what I need for the fun races. Dumb. The roulette spins are a big enough waste of time I think I’ll just let them expire rather than waste time pushing “X” 15 times in their menu. Every. Single. Time. I’ll either win the smallest (COMICALLY SMALL) monetary prize, or I’ll win a random part for a vehicle I’ll never, ever be able to afford to purchase. Today I won a stage 5 lightening kit for a 3 million dollar Ferrari. Absolutely useless to me.… Expand

    The game was a 7/10 on release but the difficulty to obtain cars and car modifications is obsurd. Then the update that followed the large down time made the game even worse. Now you have to spend lots of time grinding or buy credits. I regret preordering the special edition.

This is a terrible decision because not everyone's connection is 100% stable and outages are inevitable (such as the March 22 update). And 2) the broken economy where increasing maintenance costs and low payouts attempt not to nudge, but force players into... and I can't call them microtransations: substantial sums of money to own the cars they need to play all aspects of the game. Moreover, the single-player experience lacks depth and so what you're left with, actually, is an allbeit very nice: playable demo of what GT 7 should have been.

Play is good but I finished the game in a matter of 2 1/2 days. I've been playing since the 1st GT and I was hoping that I would have a better experience than GT Sport but I ki d wish I had waited past pre launch and got some feed back first. Man I've never been so disappointed. Cannot sell cars, there are no easy ways to farm credits unless you pay real money. DAMN YOU SONY.     Abysmal game! Been with GT since the start and other than the graphics gameplay this just isn’t GT. Pathetically short almost non-existent career mode and the entire game is trying to force you towards micro transactions. Game is either unfinished or woefully designed or a combination of both! Totally regret buying it now!! Polyphony Digital you’re a joke!

    TL;DR: GT7 was close to being good but payout cuts at the time of reviewing have turned the game into part time job where you have to live in your mom’s house or have no life to enjoy it as the process of grinding is more maddening than normal. Also DRM severely limits lifespan of game and if servers go down then you’re “single player experience” is severely crippled.

    I had never played any game in the Gran Turismo series before. Visually the game is wonderful, very beautiful. But Polyphony's policy forcing us to have a constant internet connection and the way they force us gamers to buy cars is just ridiculous. Servers spend most of their time offline this hinders player progress and takes 95% of the fun out of the game and makes it absolutely useless.

    Unplayable mess with the latest update. The always online single player mode was poorly implemented. I know it’s a driving simulator but cars are exorbitantly priced. Do not buy the SRT Tomahawk X VGT, it can’t be used for any races to recoup the cost.

    Dont bait and switch your fans! Why is a single-player game only online? There are plenty of games that can implement an anti-cheat while remaining offline it makes no sense. There are reports of people losing all their save data as well so there really is no point at all.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
