    Scam Turismo. The game is beautiful and the physics are awesome. But that is all the game has going for it. Greed has killed this game, some of the shadiest tactics I've seen in a game so far and it's sad because I do enjoy racing in the game. But the grind is disgusting. I should've waited to buy so I could've gave my money to a game that isn't one big money grab. Also, the roulettes are a JOKE.

    I consider GT4 to be the pinnacle of the series. Content in every game since should have at least the same content on release as GT4. I am not talking about the car count. The events available to race should be comparable. Low payout races that drive players toward an extremely overpriced MTX system that should not be in the game at all. SMH...GT is dead.

    I'd avoid buying this for now. They want you to spend loads of money on a game you already paid in full to even play. This is a free to play game disguised as a full AAA title and the recent update that nerfs the payouts makes it even worse.

    The fact that the MTX's were added after the reviews proves it was designed this way and they intended to hide this fact to sell copies which is    I'd avoid buying this for now.     The fact that the MTX's were added after the reviews proves it was designed this way and they intended to hide this fact to sell copies which is deceiving the user base. I'm not even going to touch the point of always on requirement because everyone knows its BS.

    This game doesn't even have all the newer cars to begin with. naming the missing few BMW M2/C/CS, Porsche 992's , Aston Martin Vantage, McLaren 7xx, BMW Gx cars, Audi RS5/6/7's and so many more. As a fact this game is missing most of the year 2017+ vehicles but don't worry, you can drive a Toyota Prius. This is the driving simulator they want you to spend so much time/money on.

    The game economy is broken because its centred around the micro-transactions (MTX) milking model. The game has missing most of the new cars people would want to drive in a "Real Driving Simulator". You can't even sell cars to earn credits even though the PS Store page mentions it. Always online doesn't make sense unless its a way to prevent people from cheating to get credits which makes sense if they intend to make profits through MTX. The physics is decent but not the best. The car engine sounds are far from the real counterparts. Sense of speed is missing in this game and the amount of dialogue you have to go through is painful. They seriously couldn't afford to use voice overs? and IMO the Cafe should've been a side quest instead of the main one.

    EDIT: Giving 5 stars for now since they have listened to the community. Will have to see how this progresses.

    I have never had to write a review like this before. After I paid 70$ and I can't play because I don't have internet connection at my house in the mountains. This kind of unfriendly treatment of customers should not be tolerated.

    I bought the more expensive version for the 25th anniversary and decided not to use my credits right away and enjoy my experience of working my way up the ladder. Radio silence and always online connections prevented me from even continuing my campaign offline as God forbid I wanted to race a track more than once to earn credits for my new car. What is the point in selling a game that I have PAID FOR and preventing me from even playing it! Don't buy this **** show and stand against these microtransaction money grabs. I've heard rumors now that certain cars may cost as much as $40usd per dlc...I hope this is just that...a rumor.… Expand

    The graphics are good, gameplay is good with realistic physics and very good IA, sound is amazing and is without a doubt the best GT in terms of engine sounds... The problem is that this game requires 24/7 connection and microtransactions ruin this game. If you dont have internet conection or sony servers dont work you got a brick.

    Game is Good, driving feels amazing, but... There is always but. I regret buying it for a full price. Game is grindy and with latest patch gets even more grindy. Race rewards cuts Goes to 40%, cars are expensive compared to gt sport. I dont recomend buying it, at least for now, because what is waiting for you there is dissapointment l.

    I have played and owned every single gran turismo since the very first one. I have 100 percented several of them. Spent many many hours experiencing the tracks races differant cars. Modes and music. I grew up with these games. Me and my step father played them together while I was a child.

    Tis game turned too bad into a pay to win. It's now almost impossible impossible to earn money (i'm lvl 33 and i finished the career) and buy news cars. The update made it impossible to play even in single player because the servers were down. I don't recommend buying this game until any major update whe could improve the money earnings

    Never expect too much. Generally, it is a good game. However, the graphics of the surroundings is like ps3 graphics, particularly when you are comparing with horizon. There isn’t much cars, and are extremely hard to earn credits, especially after the 1.07 update. In general, a good game with horrible marketing and operating

    First of all, i was very sad about these big spaces... emptys. With the driver view, it is not a big problem. But with the exterior of the car view, all is empty and very frustrating. But I was happy to discover GT on PS5. I like big collections of car. My objectives were to collect them all and eventually, platine the game. You are unable to enjoy the game to be a car collector, you are only able to paying Sony in order to get enough money to try out these legacy dream cars.     Paying customers of Gran Turismo 7 briefly had the opportunity to earn approximately 1.8 million credits per hours by grinding a particular race. 1.8 million credits is approximately £15 of purchased in game credits. With some vehicles costing as much as 20 million credits, it’s clear that the only way of obtaining them is by exploiting the paying customers time or personal finances.
    This already dire situation was made ADMITTEDLY worse by its creators when they slashed the prize money of the grind race by HALF. This means that the more expensive cars require either £150+ of additional purchases (per car) on top of the game you already paid £70 for.. or it means you have race on track for 20+ hours *winning every race, every time without a collision.*

    The rotten cherry on top of the traumatising GT7 experience is a reminder of how much focus was put into customer enjoyment as opposed to customer exploitation. The cherry; this single player career-mode oriented game can ONLY BE PLAYED ONLINE. They didn’t even code the game to facilitate an offline mode. Do you get it? They either A) didn’t notice the blunder because they were focused on the side of things that exploits the player, or B) didn’t change it because it didn’t effect their exploitation model. There’s been 3 updates to tend to their exploitation - none for the gaming experience.
    Has that sunk in? Don’t worry if it hasn’t sunk in yet. The next time the servers are down and you can’t access ‘your’ content, you’ll have days to contemplate why you need to be online to play a single player game. This will lead to the eventual awareness that every time the servers return from a weekend off, the all essential prize money will have been reduced once more and you feel slightly less like a human being.

    Gameplay; the cars handle great. They don’t crash and they jump like balloons in a gale. They all sound ‘tinny’. Realistic? No. I wish I could say otherwise but, No.

    Career options; you CANNOT buy new alternative engines; you can only win them after winning a prize ticket (the odds are so low that you can basically write off engine changes). Like seriously - forget it, you won’t be dropping an RB26 in an old S13 anytime soon. You can also spends millions upon millions on concept cars that aren’t eligible for any events which makes them *literally* useless. Literally.

    Oh yeah.. and the spokesman for GT7 doesn’t address any of its customers issues. Because they only want MMOONNEEYY

    Overall; this is not a game. It’s a carefully thought out business plan which was reviewed by review companies prior to GT7 revealing their intended paywall which is over 700% more expensive than their previous customer exploitation. The whole idea here is to get every customer to spend a minimum of $/£100+ with the initial purchase and in game purchases. While the creators refine and tweak their exploitation model, they’re aiming to make no less than 5 billion dollars out of us.. er.. I mean GT7

    I’m fascinated by what is happening. Fascinated by the younger audience who think micro transactions are an acceptable requirement on top of something they have already purchased. Is masochism. These people are the future.. is this how they think the world works? By misleading people into binding agreements that they can’t escape unless they abandon?.
    GT7 sums up life and community right now. It’s all about money and ignorance. Now i’m gonna go and play Dirt and appreciate the sentiment of its creators.    … Expand

    Great game but it fails to deliver. Graphics are not great, urency broken, lack of diversity in races. I hate grinding the same couple of tracks, with the same 4-5 cars all over again. It fails to deliver. And the daily rewards are unmotivating. I regret buying the game!

    The only time the game gave rewards that respected your time was during the very short campaign (usually getting a car per race). Once you finish that, there was nothing that respected your time so you had to grind for hours to get a single, high end car. The devs didn't like that people weren't paying them mtx so they nerfed grinding.     It's an amazing game if you love, ok graphics+pay to win level microtransactions+awful soundtracks+tedious career mode+invitations to buy cars that it will take you dozens of hours grinding to purchase before the invitation expires. I think this is the Darksouls of racing games great for people who enjoy grinding the exact same tedious things over and over until any sane person would walk away.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
