At least it wont require an internet connection or fill you with half the disappointment this game did. So much potential pissed away in the sake of greediness.     Love the series but this one is currently hot garbage. I got the game shortly after launch and found several of the license tests had bugs making gold impossible. That got fixed when they made the game unplayable for a day and a half. The next day I found out all the custom tunes I spent hours perfecting.     tecnicamente não tenho reclamações do jogo. Gráficos lindos, som envolvente, menu principal é um retorno as origens da franquia. Porém atribuo essa nota a intransigência dos desenvolvedores em impor como os jogadores devem utilizar o jogo. Prolongando a permanência do jogo com um sequestro financeiro com recompensas absolutamente ridículas e forçando os jogadores a permanecer no jogo muitotecnicamente não tenho reclamações do jogo. Gráficos lindos, som envolvente, menu principal é um retorno as origens da franquia. Porém atribuo essa nota a intransigência dos desenvolvedores em impor como os jogadores devem utilizar o jogo. Prolongando a permanência do jogo com um sequestro financeiro com recompensas absolutamente ridículas e forçando os jogadores a permanecer no jogo muito mais horas do que os mesmos desejam. O jogo deve prender o jogador pelo que é e pela sua qualidade, não por uma visão desconectada do estúdio. A sony deveria ficar mais atenta com essas práticas e não emitir cartas-brancas para coisas absolutamente estúpidas e anti-consumidor. As práticas da POlyphony são arbitrárias contra um consumidor que apoia a franquia e paga 70 dolares pelo jogo - o mínimo que podem fazer é permitir que o usuário jogue como quiser.     I started gaming with the NES in the 90s, have owned 11 game systems (plus PCs and Macs) and GT7 is the first game where I ever contacted a manufacturer for a refund. I currently own Gran Turismo 1-7, Sport and GT 5 Prologue. I’ve been buying PlayStation since 1997. Not to mention that a large number of cars have significantly increased their prices compared to their predecessors. The price of microtransactions is five times higher than that of the previous game. If you want to buy the car you like in the brand center, it is still a long way off. I've been playing for so long that I can only drive some slow cars that I don't like. And the lottery system is also very ridiculous. I can only draw the worst reward a dozen times in the lottery, which makes me very much doubt that my luck is really so bad? The whole game is simply a poverty simulator. For the GT series, each player has their own favorite way to play. I'm a casual gamer who likes to collect cars and occasionally challenge driving schools and missions. The 1.08 patch released by Kazuno Yamauchi reduced the prize money of a large number of popular events by more than 50%, making it more difficult for players to buy their favorite cars through the competition prize money, forcing players to buy cars with MTX. The reputation is that players do not want players to GRIND money through individual tracks. But Kazunori Yamauchi, you have to recognize this, I paid $70 to buy the game to support you, and how I want to play the game I bought back is my right and my choice. What qualifications do you have to teach me to do things? What qualifications do you have to halve the already low pitiful race reward to force me to buy your MTX? The GT7 is an absolute semi-finished product, a test water that Sony and Polyphony Digital are greedy for. It destroyed my years of love for the GT series.     Otro aspecto muy reprochable es el tema de los micro pagos, con prácticas totalmente arbitrarias contra el consumidor, incluso sacaron una actualización dificultando aún más el poder obtener crédito para el juego, obligando en alguna manera a pasar por caja. Un completo desastre. Si estos supuestamente dicen los Sonyers que es calidad? Encima llegan a tal punto de fanatismo que osan defender esta porquería!    … Expand

    The game was really good at release. After the latest patch, Polyphony Digital have shown they don't care about the gamers and are all about microtransactions.
    Do not buy this game, do not buy in game credits and do not buy future dlc for the game. I certainly won't be, unless they reverse their policy.

    I've liked Sony since the walkman but this stuff is getting lame. Man, what kind of stuff is this? No real guy would put such lame MTX in a full price game. Not to mention the server outages. Oh man. Lame stuff. Always online for single player: lame stuff.

    O melhor simulador já criado, com um realismo muito detalhado, totalmente customizável os carro, uma variedade de veículos e mais um vez voltou ao trono. GT7 é o melhor jogo de corrida já criado, merece nota 10.

    This was being my favourite games for ages. I have being buying PlayStation consoles always because of this game, but things are getting way too expensive.
    GT sport is awesome. I drove many different cars and had tons of awesome fun.

    The game feels identical to GT Sport from a driving perspective, which IMO is good. I don't notice a graphical difference as we're getting to the point where it can only look so real. The UI is incredibly clunky, often requiring several button presses when one would be sufficient. It's designed for a mouse and keyboard not a controller. They increased the costs of many in game cars, as they want you to buy credits with real money. All of these changes were made AFTER the "critic" reviews. That's deceptive and honestly I expected better from Polyphony. This WAS a flagship franchise that greed has severely tainted.… Expand

    The game feels like it was released too early, like theres a lot of missing events and features.A lot of missing races, which are gr3-gr1, formula, and other series. Lobbies aren't the same, it has more limited options. And theres alot of bugs. On the flip side, it has Awesome physics, tuning is actually the best thing.

    Predatory micro transactions. They want over 200 Euro for some cars. For a full price title this is a absolutly no go.

    The game itself is fun, but the backgrounds are very lacking and often doesn't look that good.

    I was not expecting much but holy cow!

    The graphics are terrible, the physics surreal... Not too mention that you need to farm cash to buy every car (or spend around 30-40 dollars).

    The game is boring and technically not up to standards. I wouldn't recommend it.

Too much restrictions, too many menus, uninspiring career races that all start with rolling starts no matter how good you perform in the polls, need invitations to purchase vehicles...and if you do not have the credits, those invitations expire. Static scenery and lack of animations for anything outside of the vehicle...missing volumetric lightning in some instances and on some tracks... frequent frame drops in training mode and sometimes in Career....lack of freedom with weather customization. The fixed chase cam is Nauseating. Can't look side to side while in chase cam view ...only in cockpit and other camera modes. Annoying microtransactions..This game is just GT Sport with a campaign. with a campaign

    This game **** sucks.....

    - Uninspiring Campaign
    - Cannot sell cars even tho it says we can on the PS Store
    - Cars sound like a vacuum - Super ANNOYING rolling starts
    - Frustratingly slow start to the game
    - Fixed chase cam is lame and need stop be more fluid
    - Always online is ridiculous
    - Lack of events and compelling rewards after the campaign
    -Cars are beautiful but the tracks are dead. No wind of tree animations. Just Stiff
    - Missing so many car manufacturers, as stated above
    - No reasons to do long drives because credit per race is capped at 250k even if it's 24hr long races
    - No mileage points like in GT Sport
    - Can not change cars from in race menus
    - Stupidly integrated the arcade mode into the campaign, while GT Sport had arcade mode on the main menus
    - Too many menus and button clicks to use basic features
    - Horrible Micro-transaction prices
    - MICRO-TRANSACTIONS
    -RIDE 4 has better haptics

    As always great game, but killed by an insane grind to make you continue to spend. I bought the game thinking it was playable without buying cars and not online, and in the end it is a honey pot for micro-transactions laced with frustration and buyers remorse.

    This is a great looking game. It has the potential to be a great racing title with future DLC, BUT the developers have decided to total destroy this game with abysmal race payouts! and forcing players to use greed driven microtransactions! This will be the demise of this title. I really had high expectations and really looked forward to the release of GT7, but we have all been let down.

    But that, is HAD. They updated the game and broke it, servers offline, not playable. No biggie, i thought, i only play singleplayer.... Oh boy was i wrong, because THEIR game servers were offline i could _not_ play the single player mode(!).
    Then, to add onto the misery,    I had a lot of fun with GT7, the graphics are amazing, the game is very smooth and the backstory is just awesome.

    Then, to add onto the misery, with ridiculous timing, they also _halved_ all of the ingame currency earned, which means you now need to grind for about 20 hours (!) to get one of the most expensive cars, and there's quite a bunch of them at that price... And why? To push their **** microtransactions, in a game i paid full price for....

    You've done it Polyphony, you've really done it. You were one of my most beloved game developers in the industry, and with one single swoop you've landed on my trashlist, and it will take a LOT of convincing for me to ever buy one of your games again.    … Expand

Fliegende Starts, man startet hunderte Meter hinten und muss dann alle Überholen in kurzer Zeit… man braucht also ein besseres Auto als die Gegner und muss aggressiv fahren. So viel Zeit man sich für die Präsentation der Autos nimmt, so wenig nimmt man sich Zeit für die Rennen. Man ist nur    Ein Schande. Es geht nur um Mikrotransaktionen… furchtbar!

    I paid a full price of $70 for this game after looking forward to playing this game after 2 years , just to find out I have to pay absurd amounts of real money for legendary cars and the only 2 races that you can grind to have a chance at getting those cars with out spending real world money , they go and patch them out , I’m done with this game .     Terrible terrible game. The driving is fine, bur graphically is subpar if it's not the car. Always online. The game didn't work for 30ish hours. Nothing was given as a gift for being unplayable. The race rewards were reduced by like half. Microtransactions are ridiculous. This is a $70 game, but should have been free to play. Avoid.

    The basis is there, just add more races and more ways to earn credits, we love a grind, but this is just crazy and seems a pointless attempt at selling MTX…

    Added to that, when the game was offline for 32 hrs, only the arcade races and the music rally where playable… nothing single player related campaign could be played. Due to the always online feature.. and besides a “We’re sorry” no clear explanation, updates or compensation for the downtime.


    Its sad to see, I love the series and the early grind, but once the single player menu is done, the game feels empty… give us more races, Bspec and more ways to earn credits.

    And ofc, let us sell cars or tuning items for cars we don’t own, or don’t wanna own in the near future.    … Expand

    The updates to this game inspired me to make a metacritic account. A few weeks after launch they have increased the prices of the cars to a ridiculous degree. You have to grind the same tracks for hours to earn enough money now. In addition, the game was unplayable for a few DAYS because of some error and you couldn't even play offline. Shame on Sony and Polyphony Digital for these tactics.

Then I couldn't get into the game for about 30 hours because the server was down again when I try to play my second time. I asked Sony for a refund and they denied saying that they would not refund the game because I downloaded it. Of course I downloaded it I had to do that to find out it was broken. They started claiming I could not get a refund because of their policies. I said where in the policy does it say that you can charge me for a broken game and then they told me that I downloaded it therefore it can't be refunded even though the servers have issues and I can't play the game on the two occasions that I tried. Plus the micro transactions that were hidden from initial reviews of the game surprised the hell out of me. I also didn't know this was online only and their servers around reliable. Sony is the worst customer support I've ever seen and I would not recommend this game to anyone. I'll be waiting for the next Forza game on my xbox. Shame on you Sony for stealing money from hardworking people and hiding behind your policies and offering **** customer service.… Expand

It’s still the same beautiful racing masterpiece that it was before the update. Sure, it will take a few more races/credits to purchase the more expensive cars, but that could also prevent us from growing bored of the game sooner by obtaining them more easily. Prior to the update, I was pretty impressed with how quickly I was earning credits with minimal effort anyway.

    People worked incredibly hard to make this game as good as it is, and it’s impossible to deliver something that is flawless and pleases everyone. Leadership may not have had the best judgement in this situation, but it doesn’t completely negate the majority of what makes this game great. Prior to the release of this game, I only owned a PS3 that I barely used 2-3 times a year to play GT6. GT7 was the reason I purchased a PS5, and it has reignited my passion for the series and gaming in general.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
