    GT7 is a Nice Game, but the microtransactions and the very hard to earn credits is a no go. This makes the game very frustrating and the worst gran turismo of all times. I registered an account at metacritic because of this game.

    I am so dissapointed with this. Not being able to play offline if the servers are down is a discrace. The rigged lotteries are a discrace, the micro transactions push is a DISCRACE and the payouts are laughable. As a long time fan of the series I was ok with how the game released, but now with the updates it’s completely broken. Graphics wise could have been better as well, so much pop-in!I am so dissapointed with this. Not being able to play offline if the servers are down is a discrace. As a long time fan of the series I was ok with how the game released, but now with the updates it’s completely broken. Graphics wise could have been better as well, so much pop-in! Wow. Car handling is still the same old: off track totally unrealistic. And please get rid of those rally stuff in GT, that has always been bad. SP content is more limited than the current state of GT Sport. It’s better to play that now, until Polyphony fixes their game.     Another player displeased with the game's policies. Always on prevents the player from playing if there is maintenance on the server, it was the case a few days ago that took about 24 hours.
    And then the difficulty they put in the last updates to earn credits, forcing the player to invest in microtransactions.
    Being a paid game, I find Polygon's position deplorable.

    I am working 65 hours a week so i dont have much time to play this game. Which means that i don't have enough time to grind hours to get ingame currency. After the current update the devs lowered the payout for some races. How am i supposed to buy cars if i can't get enough money for them. Everything is basically locked behind a pay wall.     Definetly the best Motor Racing game I've played on a console.
    I've had every Gran Turismo and Forza and the game play, physics, graphics and information are amazing.
    People who rely on Microtransactions, deserve to pay a premium as it is effectively a cheat way.

    I do not like mobile games as I abhor micro transactions. They ruin the game play as they are always designed to make you spend more money. I was really hoping for this game to be truly great. The gameplay is pretty good - a little clunky interface for sure, but still pretty good with one huuuuge caveat. The issue I have is you have to farm to get anything or pay sill money to buy in-gameI do not like mobile games as I abhor micro transactions.     I am hoping Sony respond this to outrage and offer full refunds - I want a refund. I do. not want to spend my afternoons farming in a racing sim and they can take a running jump if they think I am going to pay to buy in game cars with real money. Not fun, not right. I just wish I had realised this before purchasing it.

They sold us a great looking mediocre AAA title with tons of problems accompanied with greed, lies and deceit....MTX's that keep getting worse and engineering a game to rail road you into frustration from diminished race rewards cost of cars and making it egregious to try and 100% it. Also making truck races with a total of 2 trucks to even buy. Stay away from this game and this company. They obviously hate you and are only out to take advantage of you while lying to your face.     It is a game which is necessary to have an internet connection as if the game were an online game where it is mandatory, but being a car game you do not need to be connected 24/7 to the internet

    Good physics on concrete. Decent graphics but nothing groundbreaking. Content is lacking (cars, tracks). After finish of short single player campaign the horrible grind for vehicles begins. Economy in this game is horrible. Little rewards for races, roulette with very bad rewards, tires cost more than race rewards (you are forced to at least buy intermediates to be prepared for rain),Good physics on concrete. Where GT7 falls flat on its face is the grind and severe lack of reward for buying cars in what is meant be a car collecting game. I will rate this game 90+% as soon as these race rewards and payouts are addressed. To even buy 1 rare car could take 2 weeks of grinding. To make matters worse the developers needed the races being used to grind cash in a pure money grab to try and get users to pay for credits. Katz I love your games but this micro transaction drive on something I paid 150aud for is a joke… Expand

I’d recommend giving it at least a few months, maybe 6, to think about getting the game. Wait and see if they walk this back as I sincerely hope they do. But right now, please don’t buy this game.     2. Online Multiplayer aspect especially "Sport mode" is unbalance, BoP and Tuning are mixed, multiplayer should just be Delayed as a separated DLC.
    3. Recent updates (1.07 & 1.08) are really a Miss Step, economy Payouts getting slower because we've played some events "Over and Over" just to grind, Grind Turismo 7 lol.
    4. MICROTRANSACTION, GT7 encourage you to "Top Up" Small in game Credits with Real money.

Really good game, but as a player from GT1, it's unbelievable that they raised the price for cars and reduced dramatically the winning money for races so you are forced to buy for extra real money virtual cars. This is really really bad, above all for someone that in GT6 and GT Sport have them all already, and bought the 25th anniversary edition. J'ai acheté le jeu sans avoir ces informations... j'ai l'impression d'avoir été arnaqué par Sony. Je ne suis pus sûr d'être fidèle à Sony pour les prochaines consoles.

    Graphics settings are superior mostly on REPLAYS...do You get it? Replays...Ray Tracing so hyped up in presentation is only on replays...

    I bought this game for 70$ and have now to buy cars for around 200$ or to drive 2 weeks/8 hours to get this car. Sad that a refund is not possible.
    Also bad that I cannot continue in offline mode.

It pains me to give such a good game a low score, but the underhand tactics they have done to push you into buying Microtransactions is deplorable. I say Micro bitterly, as they are no such thing. To buy all the cars in the Brand Central Dealership would cost the player £1210 if buying MTX, and that isn't taking into account the Extortionate cost of the cars in the Legendary Dealership that will set you back well over £100. Then they go and reduce the actual in game credits even further with the latest patch making it nigh on impossible to be able to save up enough credits without making this game your full time job.… Expand

    Polyphony/Sony are being unfair to gamers, they gave out review copies before updating the microtransactions in the final game, hence the reviewers were rating a slightly altered game which favoured the reviews, now the game works similar to a mobile game where it's heavily dependent on the game credits and microtransactions to progress!!.

The graphics look great on PS5, but that's not enough when the game costs $70 and has so many issues. Most of these issues can and likely will be fixed, but at this point it's just a glorified beta. Not even mentioning the disrespect by the devs through lowering race rewards in a recent update, only further confirming that this game is just a cash grab with no care for the great community behind these games. Also the fact that the game "rewards you" with a ticket to buy the more luxurious cars that have a set time limit feels like a slap in the face. These cars can cost 80% of the max PP you can get for free. The auction house works the same way but with a constant rotation rather than unlocked as a reward. It shouldn't be on the player to farm the same track for hours a day over the course of a week just to buy a single car hoping they don't take too long or else they'll lose their chance at buying it for an unknown amount of time. The inability to even sell any of the overpriced upgrades or duplicate cars you inevitably collect seems like either a major oversight or a malicious choice to further puch players to buy overpriced micro transactions. I will update this review if any of these major issues are fixed, but for now this game needs more time developing and should be avoided until real changes are made. The recent updates, however, have felt like this game is purely just a massive cash grab and the developers just don't care about the players. I understand wanting to prevent grinding the same track, but with the extremely limited content and the low rewards it's the only way players can unlock even a single nice car. Lowering track rewards and releasing cars that cost nearly as much money as the player is allowed to earn just seems like they only care about earning more and more money, regardless of the image it will give them.… Expand

    2. To decrease the CR payout and use the lame excuse that this would reflect the real difficulty in earning exotic cars is nonsense. It's a video game or a fantasy to drive cars, to apply a change of currency earned after a patch is shocking, I can only see this as a move to push your user base to be more inclined to purchase Cr from your store.

    3. The Cr packages are insane. I worked out that in order to buy a car valued at 2,000,000 plus, it would cost around $40 - the same car could be purchased on GT sport for $5.

    4. Since the patch, the ability to sell used cars has been removed, again making it difficult for gamers to purchase cars which means more insanely grind times or purchasing overpriced credit packages from the online store.

    You should be ashamed of how you treated your loyal fan base. This will no doubt hinder your reputation with your fans after this stunt and a free bit of advice.. although I should charge you DLC in order to hear this. Sack your PR team! Your PR statement released after the 30 hour downtime was shameful and appalling, it's an insult to gamers intelligence and integrity.    … Expand

    Los motivos son los mismos que todos conocemos:
    1 - Mas de 30 horas sin poder jugar a los dos días de comprarlo por culpa de un sistema que favorece al que piratea y castiga a quien gasta entre 70 y 100 euros por un juego en su lanzamiento. Lejos de agradecer el apoyo que damos al juego comprándolo ahora, este te recompensa imponiendo una política de conexión online permanente que afecta hasta el modo campaña individual, impidiéndote jugar en caso de que los servidores se caigan (como fue el caso).
    2 - Un sistema de juego que implementa unos micro-pagos tan agresivos que te "obliga" a pasar por el aro si no quieres morirte del asco repitiendo la misma carrera 300 veces hasta alcanzar los créditos necesarios para poder avanzar sin dejarte media vida jugando. Se nota la dificultad artificial implementada de forma maquiavélica para que los que no pueden permitirse dejarse 3 mil horas para disfrutar del juego completo.

    Resumiendo: una jugada muy sucia que se ha visto reflejadas en las notas y desde luego se vera reflejado en posteriores compras de esta compañía. Por mi parte intentaré disfrutar del juego lo poco que me permita y acabaré mal-vendiendolo en cuanto pueda.    … Expand

Pour jouer au jeu que j'ai payé 80 euros il me faut une connexion internet. Il va se passer quoi quand les serveurs vont fermer ??? Mon jeu je ne pourrai jamais le revendre !!!     Don't play online(no desire to), yet constantly getting d/c and have to grind cr for a $70 game. Offline users shouldn't have to care or deal with anti cheat and cumbersome realism, what next? Going to add gas and real price to reflect on that too? I'm done with greed, back to Assetto Corsa. Good bye my beloved childhood game.

    Paid a lot of cash for the Gran Turismo 7, but I can't play it in my spare time, this game will never belong to myself. Where did we ever go wrong, Sony ? Game is also boring and I go back to Gran Turismo 4 and 5 on older consoles to get the best of my experience, still. Hopefully my old wheel lasts.

I can't count how many times I was forced to repeat a race from the cafe because I would lose connection to the server (mostly at the very end of the race). This is extremely frustrating. Please make the game offline for the single player part.

    3. Microtransactions (5/10): I'm giving this section a 5 because I hate the microtransaction system in general in any game. But - from my experience this one isn't that bad. So far I was never really cornered into even thinking about buying in game credits with real money, I'm not that far into the game and yet I get a decent credit reward with each race and I am able to upgrade my cars and end up 1st in every race. I am tho worried about the reward reduction on those 16 races.

    I really hope PD will listen to the players and sort out these issues, again, the gameplay aspect is terrific and it would be a shame to see this game fail because of the aforementioned    … Expand

    There is noticeable lack of classic manufacturers or cars that are historically relevant that have appeared in past games like TVR, Lotus, Lancia Stratos, Morgan, and more.

    The background music is also in poor taste and inconsistent which makes the game frustrating given the quality of soundtracks in the past.

    the worst game from sony, shame on playstation, after horizon 5 on xbox I was waiting for a response from sony with a cool race, but got the old grand tourism sport with phone-level graphics. So it's destined that Sony hasn't had normal races for 10 years already, thanks to the dirt 5 hoyabs, sold the PS5 after this race and stayed on the xbox. Sony gets into politics, but you have to make games!

It takes a bit over 1 hour grinding to buy a semi-decent car and to get the really expensive cars takes 10-30 hours of replaying the most efficient race over and over again which is absolutely ridiculous.     A free to play policy in a full price title. With extremely overpriced micro-transactions or endless hours of grinding the same races over and over again. That's a no go and game breaker. Pure greed from Sony and PD!

    This is a shame, waiting for a game more then a year and at the end i find my self with GT sport remastered with a lot of micro transactions, cars are so expensive and we have to bu some expensive ones to get the platine, I'm sorry but it's over with me and playstation they treat the fans like garbage

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
