    Game is a complete disappointment and to those in Russia complaining about it all I can say is be glad you got a refund, you guys aren't missing anything.

    To start off. The always online or GAAS model for a 70$ is crap. Company decides to kill the servers and there went your game. Next would be the music. All the others had Judas priest etc and other songs and this one is just boring and lame as hell instrumental music that is quickly forgotten. You cant sell cars as they want you to pay with their micro transactions. So its pretty much pokemon for cars at this point. I have no interest in "collecting them all" and filling up my car-e-dex . The game plays like a mobile game and has the same microtransactions tactics you would see in a mobile game.

    The game loops the professor I mean the guy in the cafe is find 3 cars by doing 3 rolling start 2 lap races (and they are just about all rolling start) and 1 multi day race tournament. back to the cafe for your next mission from the professor for the next 3 pokem...i mean cars. I keep forgetting what game reviewing here. thats the core of the game ...very dry and boring. Next would be the graphics are meh not exactly PS5 quality. I Didn't bother looking at multiplayer options as i lost interest in the game. The upgrade system is very lackluster and boring. The basic GUI is meh. This will be the last GT game I ever buy. I will check out microsofts Forza or need for speed. They got the last dollar they will ever see from me on this crap of a game.    … Expand

    Its fun to play but nothing more its feel like gran turismo sport 2 where single player is just to introduce you to game before you jump online racing. Internet conection is cancer and game is unplayable when mainetance is undergoing. Not worth that money i feel bamboozled and i cant return my copy to store . And latest updates lower prices from races so you can grind for days or buy

    La interfáz es sumamente pobre, no hay cariño detrás del diseño ni de los detalles, los personajes que aparecen son genéricos y no tienen voz, los efectos de sonido son malísimos, las físicas son paupérrimas.

El taller donde uno ve los autos tiene un fondo gris horrible, las ruletas para conseguir autos parecen de un juego web de los años noventa. Incluso El número que muestra la posición en la que uno sale en la carrera es feo, parece que está hecho en letra arial y sólo sale "1.". Es tan mesquino en todos los apartados este juego.
    El catálogo de los autos tiene un diseño pésimo y deprimente, todo es plano, todo es gris. El juego no invita a jugarlo. y para poner la guinda a la torta, el juego está plagado de micro pagos, ya que, para poder conseguir el coche que deseo debo pasarme horas y horas en un juego lento, repetitivo, con malas físicas y feo, para poder disfrutar del coche que quiera. Y la otra alternativa es desenvolsar cientos de dolares para poder "disfrutar" en algo este pésimo juego.
    Juegos como este, son aquellos que desinsentivan a los jugadores a probar juegos de carreras. Es todo lo malo que se le puede atribuir a un juego de carreras, y es muy triste que algunas compañías sigan subestimando a su público y entregándoles juegos sin terminar y sin nada de cariño detrás. Este juego es frío, gris, aburrido y abusivo.

    Aburrido, carisimo, graficas dignas de un juego de movil... que mas decir la nota es la merecida. Si fuese ps3 seria otra cosa pero esto no se puede dejar pasar en 2022. Ni hablar de los micropagos y la conexion permanente.

Mas o porém de não ter uma boa atribuição de minha nota é que o jogo demora demais pra engrenar. Não tem diálogo somente leitura sem interação, você passa muito tempo com leitura de tutorial que demora mais ou menos 30 a 40 minutos pra vc começar a realmente a jogar e sentir a vibe do jogo.     I always bought every GT game as soon as it come out & I always trusted the brand. This mentality often sets you up for failure in modern gaming, unfortunately. Gran Turismo got greedy. This "game" is pushing you to spend real world money in microtransactions to get cars, it's plain & simple, the grind to get them playing the game is terrible.

This "game" is pushing you to spend real world money in microtransactions to get cars, it's plain & simple, the grind to get them playing the game is terrible.
    Not only that, this game does not let you play your favorite game modes. Almost every race is locked, in previous GT games the only condition for you to race was to own the type of car necessary for it, that's it. In this piece of crap? No, you must satisfy many conditions the game sets up for you, do a lot of shores that you DO NOT WANT TO DO in other to unlock races, even to unlock multiplayer, which is a major slap on the face.
    Oh, you want to play with your friend? You can't. Here, go tune up a 1965 Mini Cooper, spending 300K credits on it so that I'll allow you the next step of shores so that you can unlock the parts of the game that you actually care about. The game also obligates you to interact with a lot of bots so that you can unlock anything, the bots pop up everytime with stupid messages like "you have to stay in road to complete this challenge" all the time. This game treats you like a drooling idiot.
    Oh, did I say that this game requires an always online connection even to play by yourself? Yeah, they want to be able to push you microtransactions every time and it also means that when this game's server is down, the game is more worthless than a paperweight. Also, I buy the new Gran Turismo to play with newer cars, but this game only has 2019 & prior models. No C8 Corvette!! Oh sure, soon enough they'll sell you a DLC with newer models that already had to be on the game, it's all about charging you more money!

    If you can't afford expensive cars in real life, you won't afford it in this game either. You already payed for the game then you have to spend a lot of real money that is even more expensive than the base game to get the cars you want. Earning them by grinding does not even net you much credits.

    I bought the PS5 just to play Gran Turismo 7. I never write reviews but I am so infuriated by this new release that I had to. I had played Gran Turismo Sport prior and was always enjoying it immensely. I was really looking forward to playing GT7. I am HUGELY disappointed. I dislike pretty much everything about this game. I had played Gran Turismo Sport prior and was always enjoying it immensely. I was really looking forward to playing GT7. I am HUGELY disappointed. I dislike pretty much everything about this game. Cars feel very heavy, not responsive, and with poor brakes on top of everything. My understanding is that you're supposed to tune your cars but hey, I want to race, I want to drive, to have a choice of tracks - THAT'S what I enjoy.
    I am not interested in investing any time in upgrading low grade cars that I'm forced to get in order to progress in the game. The progression is super slow and rewards are dismal. You start with the requirement to win some basic cars that are completely lacking any character and ugly. I wouldn’t buy them in real life and even more so I have no desire to own them virtually. Some gamers say that they love to start modestly and build their way up slowly but I don’t like this idea- it’s not fun whatsoever. I want to race, and I want to drive the unique and special cars without having to own uninspiring models. The characters, static humans that you have to interact with throughout the game are exceptionally annoying and patronizing. The so-called “map” you have to navigate is boring and I certainly prefer the previous menu set up in GT Sport. I was so frustrated with being forced to acquire the basic cars I don’t care for, that I paid too much real money to get some decent cars right up front but no, it didn’t help. Even if you pay real money for cars that are now ridiculously expensive in comparison with GT Sport, on top of purchasing the game for 70$, you still only have access to a limited collection of cars! Used cars for that matter! Everything is still locked and to get access to any additional tracks will still require you to do boring and repetitive tasks to acquire those previously mentioned basic cars which I don’t wish to have to begin with. I don’t want to know or care to know anything about their history and definitely have no desire to tune them in order to make them more decent, especially because you are no longer able to sell cars you were forced to get in order to progress in the game. Also, the tracks themselves look stretched and artificial, there is no sensation of speed and making a turn feels cumbersome and disorienting because the graphics are completely off - your car doesn’t turn but the camera turns instead. I absolutely hate this release and found it sloppy, soulless, dull and overhype far beyond reality. This release is awful and shame on people giving it high ratings because it doesn’t deserve it one bit. There are more irritating things and unnecessary prolonged steps to describe but the list of complaints is too long for me to bother. My general sense is: not only have I not enjoyed the game - it left me furious... especially after reading some of these over the top reviews… are you kidding me?? What planet are these people from giving it 10 out of 10 ?. It’s poorly thought through, poorly implemented, egregiously money grabbing, uninspiring, half baked, overhyped, overpriced piece of software. I am furious. Unless you like the slow and boring torture of the entire experience -don’t buy it! I have been totally cheated by Sony. I am done trying to play it.    … Expand

    I didn't even buy the game, and I won't after reading about the stupid micro transactions and the fact that of their stupid server goes down, you can't even play single player. I'm glad I didn't waste my money. Screw you, Sony!

    I'm so disappointed with this game. It looks great, it runs great. But forcing people to drive the worlds most boring cars for at least 15hours, paying out unbelievably small winnings and at the same time keep on nagging about "topping up your credits" aka Micro transactions, ruin this game for me. I'm selling it.

There are way too many issues to document here so I'll just pick that missions are ties to the "cafe". Hay que admitir que lo malo radica en el hecho de tener que estar conectado a internet aunque sea en el modo de un solo jugador, esto practicamente es a fuerza, algunos autos son muy caros y parece que nada mas estan para que uno gaste mas dinero por estos con las microtransacciones, las cuales, son carisimas y practicamente no son justas, y eso que el juego ya cuesta mas de los 81 dolares(al menos en México no se en otros paises pero me imagino que hay lugares donde sea mas caro)
    Espero legitimamente, no ironicamente; que los de polyphony digital cambien estos aspectos en futuras actualizaciones ya que asi podrian mejorar un juego, lo cual me parece necesario de inmediato, si se puede mañana seria exelente :) ya que Gran Turismo 7 y Gran Turismo en general se han vuelto de mis sagas favoritas y me parece muy triste en lo que se ha vuelto el juego.     Single player content wil finished in 10-25hrs, laughably short for a Gran Turismo title.
    Save your money and don't trust the Game journalists.
    Game looks pretty & driving is fun, other than that it's garbage and 99% of the racing games out there will provide more fun.

    I already paid for the game, and now I supposed to pay for each car separately? I don't have the time to grind 5 hours for a "basic" car, nonetheless 20 hours for a "super" car. And no, I don't have the money to buy these in real life, but not even in A GAME? The first time ever I want my money back... And I even pre-ordered Cyberpunk.

Plus most of the cars have about 200k plus credit worth of modifications to buy.

    Secondly the game offers nothing over GT Sport. The only truly new thing is the lazy and boring gt coffee mode (witch is most of the single player campain). It is just a bunch of 2-3 lap races for cars the you abandon for the rest of the campain. On top of this the AI is horrible. On some tracks they are really slow, on other tracks they are okay. But the worst of them all is that the AI strait out ignores you. Spin you around, squeeze you off the track. The other new thing is the street car tuning with the Performance Point system. It takes the power of the car, the weight and the suspensions characteristics to calculate a number. It does not translate well to actual performance when you drive the car.
    Every other modes ( circulate experience, license test ) are available in GT Sport. Given that there are only 3 new track there is not a lot have been added to GT7.

    Driving the cars at least is good. It is not a simulator, but more complex than a arcade racer. Perfect combination to race online. The driving is the only reason why I'm not rating it lower than 5/10. It is such a shame that the daily races are still update once a week.

    If you loved other GT games GT7 is a fine way to play on a modern system but it has nothing new. If you got bored with GT Sport or you looking for a simulator on the PS5 this isn't the game for you. If they increase credit earned for races, add more tracks and touch up the AI, than the game could be a 8/10.

With mtx priced at $20/2mil Cr., or $1 per 100,000, what was the most efficient race has been reduced to the equivalent of $7/hr, down from the original $17/hr

    What a cash crab. Not only is a dlc of gtsport but now is nothing more than a p2w garbage. Imagine spending 80 euro to get a f2p game.
    Edit:And now the game being UNPLAYABLE for more than a whole day. Asked a refund this is UNACCEPTABLE.

    Game forces micro transactions on the player and recruits predatory sales tactics (expiring invitations, overly expensive used cars that have limited time to buy them) races that don't have grid start which means you need to have faster car than any other in the race. Payouts from races are very low, and would require grinding for days to afford top end cars.     Une plaisanterie cette obligation d'être connecté non-stop. Ils ont intérêt de revenir en arrière au vus de l'impossibilité de jouer actuellement à cause de cette aberration. Ou comment détruire un jeu en quelques heures. Je parle même pas des micros transactions honteuses car très difficile de gagner des crédits dans le jeu.

Quand on paye 80 euros un jeu c'est pour pouvoir y jouer, mais quand on décide de mettre une connexion obligatoire il faut faire en sorte que cela ne pénalise pas les joueurs solo.     I was looking forward to this game. I was also one of the fools that believed we would get the best Gran Turismo game ever and it’s the absolute opposite.

    Lots of updates right at the start, which lose my settings all the time, server is down (a lot), you cannot really play if the server is not online. It seems that Sony delivered an unfinished game, what a surprise. They are not the    I was looking forward to this game. I was also one of the fools that believed we would get the best Gran Turismo game ever and it’s the absolute opposite.

I paid for a 25th anniversary edition around 100$ and I can’t play because either, I get an update, or the server is down… frankly unacceptable.

    And then there is the issue of the microtransactions. How come, now that you can buy in with real money (if you want and can afford it), the game gives you a lot less credits when you win a race or a championship.

    Have they not already earned enough. I am very disappointed and I want my money back.

    It’s Cyberpunk 2077 all over again! There are other companies that somehow are able to deliver a finished game like Horizon Forbidden West.

    This is a real shame and Sony should know better to ruin a really good franchise like Gran Tourismo. So in the future it will be Forza and not GT…    … Expand

    I have always been a diehard GT7 fan, but the microtransactions and the broken in game economy have really taken a shine off the game. The number of events in game are low, the payouts are incredibly low and yet the number of expensive cars is crazy high. Poor game design and balancing

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
