    79€ for a game in my opinion is more than enough, now I would have to pay for credits because the rewards have been lowered and buying cars will become very difficult, this is a good game but ruined by the greed of the developer ..

    As a race simulation it maybe deserves 7/10 but it can't work without the rest of the game concepts such as buying cars and currency, also being always online when it's so not needed so that you can't basically get what you are actually buying. It was absolutely butchered by executives and Sony decisions, poor devs don't deserve such **** outcome as in core nature it is an amazing game, but it is unfortunately unplayable if you don't invest **** load of cash and time which will make the actual very good game, really bad and insufferable as you grind for nothing since you will be destroyed by those who don't care about buying game for 1000s of dollars with all the extra purchases.
    Definitely wait for free give away or at least 70+% discount, don't buy this for a full price as it is a fkn robbery that should be illegal.    … Expand

    The people who worked on developing this game clearly poured their hearts and souls into it. It really shows. But all of that means NOTHING if every time I play the game I feel like I am playing a 'free to play' MOBILE GAME!!!

    I checked the PS Store product description and NOWHERE in that information does it say that ANY SINGLE PLAYER CONTENT is reliant on a persistent internet connection to a server. NOWHERE. That's false advertising and is surely grounds to override Sony's archaic "refund policy"     … Expand

    The pre-order of the limited edition was canceled, the game was removed from sale in Russia, but it's even better. The single player game requires a constant internet connection, microtransactions in the game are beyond good and evil, and the latest update has made it even harder to earn credits. I don't recommend this game to anyone with a bit of self-respect.

    Paid $70 for this game and still all the good stuff is locked behind microtransactions. Unless you are a jobless grinder who can play 10hrs daily then just forget about unlocking cars you want. This game is bad and I cannot wait for Forza Motorsport to save the simcade genre on consoles.

    Although this game looks good, almost as good as Forza Horizon 5 to be fair it is really boring to play. GT7 is more similar in gameplay to Forza Motorsport than it is Horzon. Unfortunately GT7 does not have the detailed simulation side of FM7 or the open world fun of FH5 so this ends up as the worse of both worlds. If you don't have an Xbox or PC then this is the best driving gameAlthough this game looks good, almost as good as Forza Horizon 5 to be fair it is really boring to play. GT7 is more similar in gameplay to Forza Motorsport than it is Horzon. Unfortunately GT7 does not have the detailed simulation side of FM7 or the open world fun of FH5 so this ends up as the worse of both worlds.     For a game that claims it’s all about the cars, it’s hard to believe that when the cars are locked behind absurd pay walls. I have no issue with the top cars fetching $20m, but when the best races only net you 100k (with the bonus) and you’re forced to run the same race over and over again…it gets old pretty quickly. Sure, you can setup custom races but forget about any sort of reasonableFor a game that claims it’s all about the cars, it’s hard to believe that when the cars are locked behind absurd pay walls. I have no issue with the top cars fetching $20m, but when the best races only net you 100k (with the bonus) and you’re forced to run the same race over and over again…it gets old pretty quickly. Sure, you can setup custom races but forget about any sort of reasonable payout. The custom races pay next to nothing, so again you are forced back to the same campaign races over and over again. Unfortunately, I think Polyphony saw an opportunity to stick it to their fan base and gouge them with obscene micro transactions. When some of the cars could cost you hundreds of real world dollars to buy in a game, I think it’s fair to say that greed is the focus of the game; certainly not cars. This game is a nice diversion, but I will promptly toss this on the shelf once Forza Motorsport is released.

Some cars can cost anywhere from 10-20 million credits which is extremely unrealistic to grind for, especially for a single car. So if you don’t wanna grind you’d have to spend $20 just for 2,000,000 credits which would make a 20,000,000 credit car $200 in real world money…. Absolutely disgusting.     Last night the game went down for three hours for server maintenance, guess what, you can't do ANYTHING in the game when it's not online. Not a single, solitary thing, just a "Sorry for your luck" message from Polyphony.

    Edit: The fact that the MTX's are a thing isn't even the worst part, there's just nothing to do, and this is coming from someone who loved GTSport. It's just the same missions over and over, no diamond/ruby/emerald ranking, all the good circuits not included, it's just bunk. I'd honestly just have preferred a GTS remaster for PS5 and push GT7 until at least the console shortage is resolved. No reason to force this out now. Also, SNAP OVERSTEER SUCKS.    … Expand

Too much restrictions, too many menus, uninspiring career races that all start with rolling starts no matter how good you perform in the polls, need invitations to purchase vehicles...and if you do not have the credits, those invitations expire. Static scenery and lack of animations for anything outside of the vehicle...missing volumetric lightning in some instances and on some tracks... frequent frame drops in training mode and sometimes in Career....lack of freedom with weather customization. The fixed chase cam is Nauseating. Can't look side to side while in chase cam view ...only in cockpit and other camera modes. Annoying microtransactions..This game is just GT Sport with a campaign. with a campaign

    This game **** sucks.....

    -aging car list
    - Stingy with credits
    - Uninspiring Campaign
    - Cannot sell cars even tho it says we can on the PS Store
    - Cars sound like a vacuum - Super ANNOYING rolling starts
    - Frustratingly slow start to the game
    - Fixed chase cam is lame and need stop be more fluid
    - Always online is ridiculous
    - Lack of events and compelling rewards after the campaign
    -Cars are beautiful but the tracks are dead. No wind of tree animations. Just Stiff
    - Missing so many car manufacturers, as stated above
    - No reasons to do long drives because credit per race is capped at 250k even if it's 24hr long races
    - No mileage points like in GT Sport
    - Can not change cars from in race menus
    - Stupidly integrated the arcade mode into the campaign, while GT Sport had arcade mode on the main menus
    - Too many menus and button clicks to use basic features
    - Horrible Micro-transaction prices
    - MICRO-TRANSACTIONS
    -RIDE 4 has better haptics

    I preordered PS5 disk version in Feb but on the release date i couldn't get it as Sony decided to cancel the release of the game in my country. After reading other players reviews i realise that i could be even good as i won't get greedy game (cost of the cars was already absurd in GT Sports) and Sony will not get my money.     The worst part is the grinding for money, you earn very little, oh and guess what of course you can buy in game money with real money, so obviously Sony want you to just spend even more money bypassing all the grinding.

    Les graphisme n'ont pas évolué depuis gt sport, la difficulté monte de manière exponentielle de manière à te forcer à acheter un volant pour dosé tes freinages et accélération, de plus l'économie du jeu est devenue éclater pour forcer à acheter leurs packs d'argent. Très déçu de ce dernier !

The key missing feature is the Data Logger, which really helped you understand changes to driving and setup, it was disappointing that it didn't make it into the rush job that was GT sport but it's a crime that it's not in for the release of GT7.     The menu system is still as clunky as ever but we've all become used to that over the years. All the unnecessary fluff about car culture should of been put in a document on a side menu rather than in the main game and all the useful stuff about car handling should of been taken out of the side menu and put in the main game. It's sad to see so much effort put into Luca's road block content that you furiously try to skip over to get to the next bit of game.

    I've noticed people complaining about it being always online when in 2022 this is pretty much the norm, with cloud saves, etc. Also lots of fluff about micro transactions being in the game also but we had them in GT6 as well along with the really expensive cars.

    So yeah it's entertaining but it makes you wonder if Polyphony Digital have just been wasting time since GT6.

    Update: bombing the rating as it seems to be the only thing that PD / Sony notice. In the context of massively expensive cars out there and the massively high cost of credits, the item mall fails to understand the concept of micro transactions. Also the roulette random payouts are annoying, they take too long and 99% of the time you get junk.

    In light of the 1.07/1.08 update dumpster fire it seems that PD are unwilling to fix the issue with any urgency. While saying they don't want people to have to grind, they reduce the payouts to make people have to grind more, when in fact they should of been adding zeros to the payouts and removing them from the prices.    … Expand

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
