    Modifying cars in Gran Turismo 7 really coming back to bite me in the rear end with new PP system and modifications you can't remove without replacing engine or chassis and losing said modifications

    This could have been an amazing game if it wasn't for Al the cars being put behind a paywall. Yes you can play the game and gain credits to buy cars, parts etc. however that then becomes an unreasonable grind. Unless you are ready to grind for dozens of hours for cars or don't mind spending real world money for the cars you should steer clear of this game.

    Somehow made the online matchmaking and daily sport races even worse from GT sport. And now it's almost impossible to earn cars.

    I used to love Sony and everything they did, but since the horizon forbidden west controversy to this game and it’s horrible scummy business practices, I just can’t support Sony anymore. I was gonna buy a PS5 but I think I’ll just stick with my PC at this point. This game is a great example of why people need to STOP supporting companies and MTX, that 100% goes for EA and their **** sportsI used to love Sony and everything they did, but since the horizon forbidden west controversy to this game and it’s horrible scummy business practices, I just can’t support Sony anymore.     An incredible game that has been utterly wrecked by the online-only requirement and reward reductions that were implemented after reviewers gave out their scores. The game has now been unplayable for two days straight as a result. A new low for Polyphony and Sony. :(

    impossible to unlock a good car, you have to paid for it. played 15 hours but it was only with low price cars. And you cant win race without upgrade, need to spend credit for upgrade. I cant collect enough credit.

    The economy is so broken. There are not enough events to make it work and the payouts are pitiful. Polyphony says they want it to be realistic. Race drivers make MUCH more money and get paid tons from sponsors on top of their salary. Don't worry though; you can buy cars with real money though. All a ploy to push MTXs.     In SO many ways, this is a wonderful game. As someone who played GT1-4, but then found himself with an XB rather than a PS for over a decade, it has been a joy to get back to the series. That said, the most recent update has sucked the like out of this game for me. The roulette spins and slapdash “campaign” were already issues, but so could deal with that, bc I knew the grind wouldIn SO many ways, this is a wonderful game. I simply will not do this. Poly’s craven efforts at limiting in-game currency so they can push microtransactions are pitiful. They deserve anything they get. Once they fix in-game payouts to be reasonable and address some of the other irritations with campaign and roulettes, it will be a game I’ll recommend to friends. Until then, itMs going to cost Poly more in lost sales than it would for me to buy the McLaren. It’s sad, but I guess that’s the state of AAA gaming these days…… Expand

    I had a lot of fun with GT7, the graphics are amazing, the game is very smooth and the backstory is just awesome.
    But that, is HAD. They updated the game and broke it, servers offline, not playable. No biggie, i thought, i only play singleplayer.... Oh boy was i wrong, because THEIR game servers were offline i could _not_ play the single player mode(!).
    Then, to add onto the misery,    I had a lot of fun with GT7, the graphics are amazing, the game is very smooth and the backstory is just awesome.

    Then, to add onto the misery, with ridiculous timing, they also _halved_ all of the ingame currency earned, which means you now need to grind for about 20 hours (!) to get one of the most expensive cars, and there's quite a bunch of them at that price... And why? To push their **** microtransactions, in a game i paid full price for....

    You've done it Polyphony, you've really done it. You were one of my most beloved game developers in the industry, and with one single swoop you've landed on my trashlist, and it will take a LOT of convincing for me to ever buy one of your games again.    … Expand

    They're asking way too much for way too little. I was hoping they would avoid the same pitfall other games have been falling into with micro-transactions.     everyone knows what i'm going to say. always online, gamebreaking patches, lack of content, poor physics, inflated prices so you have to pay real money, they slashed the amount of money you get from winning races. They've had 5 years since gtSport and they release this steaming pile of trash. Very disappointed

This is the first time I have seen PD stoop to such low levels of greed and pure incompetence. Physics for MR cars are still entirely broken.     Get to first position on merit and at the next hairpin punted off the track by the guy in 2nd place > I receive a time penalty > he gets no punishment > finishing 12th ≠ fun. GT7 in its current state is less than a joke. PD has zero communication with their player base and doesn't implement any community suggestions.    … Expand

They literally deleted this game from people who bought it and even played a while. Today they deleted store. No refunds for ps plus. Probably, their consoles become an ugly but expensive bricks soon.

The terrible and horrid thing about always online means, Sony can just flip a switch and you no longer have a game. This is unacceptable and horrid on Sony's part. Making GT7 a live service games was one of the worst decision Sony has ever made. Do not buy this trash of a game.

    Gorgeous graphics, great car feel. But whats the point if you cant even play the single player career if there is a problem with a Sony server, or a Polyphony server. This game costs a lot of money and its not fair for Sony to treat thier customers thus way. GT4 still remains the best one in the series I'm afraid. I got a refund on mine and i might buy it again in a few years if theGorgeous graphics, great car feel.     I couldn't put this game down at all for a week straight. After 1.07/1.08 I don't even want to boot it up anymore. Always online was a TERRIBLE choice. Microtransactions was a TERRIBLE choice. GT was always a grind but my god... it was pretty bad before the update. After the update... by far the most grindy GT ever. Or you could pay $200 real money for a single car. Sounds awesome. Thanks.

    Thank you Jim Ryan and Hermen Hulst for ruining GT7 with always online DRM and micro-transactions. This was the only PS5 exclusive I was excited for because I’m a big fan of Polyphony Digital (and this being the ONLY remaining Japanese first-party studio) but it looks like “out of touch” grandpa Jim Ryan wants to completely destroy Japanese devs image.

Porém atribuo essa nota a intransigência dos desenvolvedores em impor como os jogadores devem utilizar o jogo. Prolongando a permanência do jogo com um sequestro financeiro com recompensas absolutamente ridículas e forçando os jogadores a permanecer no jogo muitotecnicamente não tenho reclamações do jogo. Gráficos lindos, som envolvente, menu principal é um retorno as origens da franquia. Porém atribuo essa nota a intransigência dos desenvolvedores em impor como os jogadores devem utilizar o jogo. Prolongando a permanência do jogo com um sequestro financeiro com recompensas absolutamente ridículas e forçando os jogadores a permanecer no jogo muito mais horas do que os mesmos desejam. O jogo deve prender o jogador pelo que é e pela sua qualidade, não por uma visão desconectada do estúdio. A sony deveria ficar mais atenta com essas práticas e não emitir cartas-brancas para coisas absolutamente estúpidas e anti-consumidor. As práticas da POlyphony são arbitrárias contra um consumidor que apoia a franquia e paga 70 dolares pelo jogo - o mínimo que podem fazer é permitir que o usuário jogue como quiser.     Un juego sin terminar , un sistema de "simulación" precario , que en lugar de dañarse en caso de un choque sigue como si nada , gráficos mediocres en algunos casos tiene mejores gráficos un juego de móvil , y sin mencionar los problemas de conexión permanente para todo y la cereza del pastel los micropagos , GT murió con este juego.

    This game is literally a scam now. Paid 79.99 euros for a game with mobile mechanics and you have to buy currency packs with real money if you do not want this game to literally be your second job.

    And the credits earned every race was reduced to literally half in the new patch. Are you freaking kidding me?!! **** this game.

    Beautiful game, ruined by microtransations. My fault for pre-ordering the game. Was not expected this from a PS5 exclusive, especialy one with so much tradition like Gran Turismo. You would not see this on any Forza game.

    I was not expecting much but holy cow!

    The graphics are terrible, the physics surreal... Not too mention that you need to farm cash to buy every car (or spend around 30-40 dollars).

    The game is boring and technically not up to standards. I wouldn't recommend it.

    If you want to platinum you HAVE to play sport mode (need to finish 50 races), but sport mode is terrible. You only get penalties for cutting tracks or overtake under yellow flag. There is NOTHING for unfair players and they know it. Não existe NENHUM incentivo a jogar limpo. Além do mais a empresa enganou os reviewers com o famoso patch do primeiro dia botando micro-transações.     Could have been so good but the game is pretty much useless without internet connection and the prize money system is totally broken. And even if you are willing to spend real money on your full prize game the prizes for that are ridiculous. 20 € for 2 Mio Credits and some of the most expensive cars are about 10 mio credits…. And unfortunately, instead of fixing some of the issues everyoneCould have been so good but the game is pretty much useless without internet connection and the prize money system is totally broken. And even if you are willing to spend real money on your full prize game the prizes for that are ridiculous. 20 € for 2 Mio Credits and some of the most expensive cars are about 10 mio credits…. And unfortunately, instead of fixing some of the issues everyone is complaining about they chose to lower the earrings on most of the races even more.     Este juego tiene microtransacciones exageradas y no se siente como un dlc de granturismosport en ves de un gran turismo nuevo, no aprovecha el gran potencial de ps5 y está muy por detrás de otros referentes gráficos como fh5 además de tener coneccion permanente sin sentido ya que la mayoría de modo is ofline

    Absolute trash game. Finds insidious ways to get you to spend your hard earned credits. Cars are overpriced. Car parts are overpriced. There is also scripting where when the game realizes you're winning it will make it rain or spin you out. Absolutely stupid

    They have added in the most egregious micro transactions I've ever seen in any game that I've played. Taken together with the fact that they have now made all races payout less...thus game is a joke.
    I've deleted it and will never reinstall.

    I started playing the Gran Turismo series as a child and it was a good series. But now it's a huge disappointment. 1 Permanent online, why in solo or career mode? 2 game makes you donate, shame. 3 Lowered the money mechanic after two weeks of release. 4 game makes you feel like you have to work in it, not enjoy the race. 5 soundtrack is very controversial.

    This is just a disaster. Unless you like mindlessly grinding for hours and hours playing the same old content you will not like this game. Polyphony must think we are all suckers that will throw our money at them to drive fake cars in a game.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
