    wow. this game just blew me away constantly. the story, the gameplay, the new features. it all blends beautifully into one of the most fulfilling games ive played.

    This is more of Kratos' story, this is the continuation, the climax... It's just awesome. The best God of War game ever made, being an improvement on the 2018 version, being the best experience possible with a PS.

    This Game is an absolutly Masterpiece, an example how Games should be.
    I really hope that we get more from this Studio in the future with this Genius Team from Santa monica. In this game is so much love and incredible details.     Otra vez sony lo ha vuelto a hacer! este trabajo de Santa Mónica studios es increíble y realmente pulido, la banda sonora es increíble acompañado de un sonido magistral una variedad de enemigos apabullante nuevos personajes cada uno con su historia detrás gráficos increíbles en fin todo lo que diga y me digo quedando corto. Alta recomendación

This sequel does exactly that as it draws the norse saga to a close for the ghost of sparta as him and Atreus journey through a truly unforgettable adventure throughout the 9 realms. The game builds beyond the action and gameplay of its predecessor exceeding its 2018 counterpart by addressing the very few problems and ammending them. The way they intertwine"We must be better" - Kratos. This sequel does exactly that as it draws the norse saga to a close for the ghost of sparta as him and Atreus journey through a truly unforgettable adventure throughout the 9 realms. The game builds beyond the action and gameplay of its predecessor exceeding its 2018 counterpart by addressing the very few problems and ammending them. The way they intertwine their creativity towards norse mythology by curating and writing the stories in unique ways that fit the purpose of the narrative while still representing the original norse scriptures correctly was done in a very thoughtful manner and was an epic experience. Santa Monica have really exhausted their skills into crafting this masterpiece and their passion and hardwork is seen through and through this game. Would definitely recommend this title to anyone who hasn't grabbed it on the PS5 yet as it is 100% a must have running silky smooth on the system or to anyone that enjoyed the 2018 game as this is basically that but dialled up to 1000. This is definitely GOTY for me hands down.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Well where do I begin.......... After the success of God Of War on PS4 back in 2018 I never expect a sequel to surpass the 1st game?........... BUT how wrong I was.
    This game is a masterpiece and must be played!!!!
    Awesome graphics, the world's look amazing, the frame rate is adequate...... And the story has you at the edge of your seat from start to finish.
    I purchased this game on the PlayStation Store........ I have last gen AND current Gen versions........... I have been playing the PS4 version on the PlayStation 5 and I have zero complaints with the games stability? Maybe the PlayStation 5 Is making the game run and look better?
    I won't post any spoilers but the story was tugging on my heart strings at certain points, I actually finished the story earlier today and once I unlock all trophies on PS4......... I am loading the PlayStation 5 version and starting again because I have loved every second of the game     … Expand

    Very cool game, in my opinio the best one of the franchise, the history, the blades of chaos, the axe, the battle in the beginning (i cant give spoilers here rsrs). Im playin in PS5 and thinking this game a master piece, one of my favorites I have ever played

    For me this is without a single doubt the greatest story/game i have ever experienced. It is better in every possible way in regards to its prequel from 2018, which already was outstanding, but what Santa Monica Studios has delivered here is a true masterpiece.

    Why people give this game anything less than a 9 is beyond me. I crave single player games with a good story and it is clear this game picks up right where the og ps4 GOW left off. The graphics are unbelievable, combat is just as fun, more exploration and rewards. I’m only a few hours in but this is absolutely everything I imagined it would be and more.

    The games feels amazing and the cinematics are the best I’ve ever seen in a game, and it did a great job compared to its predecessor, like Horizon did.

    Amazing game, good story and awesome combat, soundtrack is epic as hell.
    Even better than 2018 GOW.
    Good character development too.

    Sadly some Polish and Russian speaking people are reviewing bombing cause it isnt dubbed in their language *insert facepalm*.
    or people forget its a sequel: so yes its gonna take place in the same realms ofc...

    The first game being my favorite game of all time I wondered how in the next game they could possibly do better. While there are things I like about the fist game more I can confidently say that this is one of the best games ever made. the combat is engaging though it starts out slow and a bit familiar but in a very good way. Mistake, the game is very much an iterative title. This is. PS4 game.... Period. Held back by aging hardware and the greed of investors wanting the highest returns.     I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
