    Amazing, beautiful and fun to play. They nailed it with this one, really wish is was trilogy but, I really enjoyed this one. Can’t wait for new game plus. Beautiful story, dope ass fights. Everything about this game is a 10/10!!!!!

    If you dont care to make something enjoyable to play, and just want to tell a story, just make a movie next time. Youtube is making playing sony's games irrelevant. Just watch someone playing and save your money. Looks like another assassins cringe series is born. And kratos have a severe case of amnesia as he forgot everything he learned from the previous game. He sorta dull eh?

    It's impossible to skip scenes. Why did they choose that? The scenes are boring and the story is dull, predictable and made for children;
    There are lots of the same puzzles. They are boring as well. You're gonna play 10 hours and watch 30 mandatory hours. Puzzles crash with action. If you want to play a good action adventure game, this is not the best choice. The game is:    Bad game.

    The game is: fight 2 minutes, solve a 5 minute puzle, watch a 10-15 cut scene over and over and over again.
    Too much talking. If you want silence, the head talks, the boy talks, the woman talks, Kratos talks, they talk together, alone, dead or alive, there are lots of unnecessary dialogues all the time.

    The game looks like a bad mix of Zelda, Tomb Raider, Uncharted and for the optional content, Souls. The most interesting part is: there is no God of War on it. It's not an epic game with epic scenes. If you want action, the game gives you puzzles. If you want to explore, the game gives you cutscenes.

    Sadly, it's an AAA that seems to be a BBB. Same formula as its predecessor, too much longer, not better.    … Expand

    the graphics are incredible, voice acting is great, music is incredible, art direction is solid, and the gameplay is pretty good...but what matters most to me is story, and this one is trash. the writers simply don't understand the ideas they're working with, and it all falls apart at the end. there are a lot of lazy/sloppy character moments and plot contrivances, but the most egregiousthe graphics are incredible, voice acting is great, music is incredible, art direction is solid, and the gameplay is pretty good...but what matters most to me is story, and this one is trash. the writers simply don't understand the ideas they're working with, and it all falls apart at the end. there are a lot of lazy/sloppy character moments and plot contrivances, but the most egregious part is how the whole thing is centered around one major plot hole that ruins the story of both this game and the 2018 one.… Expand

    Nothing special about this one. Same as every other GoW that's come out. New characters, but same old basic game. Graphics are alright I guess.

    The franchise just went the wrong direction to abandon it's flashy combo and vengeance of Krotos. They tried hard to be tlou+ souls game adventure game.

    In 2023, FF16 is just a better choice if you're looking for a game with fun action combo and fascinating story.

    IT'S JUST LIKE A DLC , far away from my imagination.

    - boring riddle and platforming
    - reused old realms and enemies
    - boring resource collection
    - all the same as GOW 2018

    I'm very disappointed. A lot of decryptions have destroyed the rhythm of the game. This is not the god of war I want. At the end, many things have not been explained.

    Bad intro, combat still feels a little bad an uninteresting. Companions tells you EVERYTHING you have to do. Exploration and progression is boring. Im very disappointed.

    Aun sigo esperando ese gran juego por parte de Sony para la nueva generación, no es posible que reutilizaron las mismas animaciones del GoW pasado, es en serio? solo son 2 personajes y no pueden hacer nuevas animaciones? este juego parece mas un DLC o una expancion que un nuevo juego de nueva generación de 80 pavos.

    This is glorified expansion masked as sequel. Ofcourse hordes of zombified fans will drool over it and ultra aggressive marketing campaign did it's part. But plenty of us see thru that smokescreen. Not to mention the marvelization of gow...

    reused old realms, ps2 era level design, garbage broken enemies attacking u off screen. This is most disappointing sequel.

    Playing in PS5, game is great, but please make an option to remove the companion's hints!!! They ruin the exploration and treat the player like a dumb. I want to play and discover, not a guided experience. If you allow to silence their hints I will review the game accordingly.

    It's not a bad game but you can tell its mostly a ps4 game. It just feels like nothing special has been added to the actual game. It's just a long DLC. Not to mention the cutscenes. I want to play the actual game not sit and watch a movie.

    In its day it had its deserved goty but It is literally the same game, graphics advance and new story, nothing innovative or groundbreaking, once again it takes TWO shots to get it when other games only need an original SINGLE shot. Not multiplayer, not for all platforms.

    It’s pretty much the second half of the first game. Basically as if it were a giant DLC and clearly is a PS4 game that is slightly enhanced with higher FPS and Resolution for the PS5. The games concludes the story arc of Kratos and in a rather uncompelling manner and basically makes the story of the first game pointless. This game could have been a DLC

    Cometi o enorme erro de perder meu tempo com este jogo, sinceramente eu joguei o de 2018 e gostei mas este aqui é simplismnete uma expansão capada, Tiraram varias coisas boas da versão original nesse DLC. Muita gente fala bem da historia mas eu realmente previ tudo o que aconteceria antes do seu lançamento pq esse jogo é extremamente genérico e não faz sentido sua loreno geral, odiei aCometi o enorme erro de perder meu tempo com este jogo, sinceramente eu joguei o de 2018 e gostei mas este aqui é simplismnete uma expansão capada, Tiraram varias coisas boas da versão original nesse DLC.     I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
