    2022’s GOTY, leagues ahead of anything else in the category. A must play for anyone with a PlayStation and a testament of how 1st party games should be handled. Microsoft could learn something from Sony.

    The good: Graphics, Audio, Gameplay

    The bad: The story is **** and woke, I was expecting Thor and Odin to die a brutal death, such a wasted potential...If I'm not mistaken Cory Barlog once said in an interview that GOW is not known for it's violence WHHHHHHAAAAAAAAT TF?!? Cory imagine the next Mortal Kombat with only friendship and babalities, sounds stupid right? Kratos needs to be a monster end of story! Let's hope for a better director because this guy is making GOW into a woke festival with boring characters that nobody cares.

    The game mechanics are better than those of gow 2018 but they have thrown overboard the incredible story that Norse mythology could give. this game was doomed since they decided on two games instead of three. I feel cheated.
    the 2018 story had just the right level of drama and depth. in this game everything is varnished with an extra layer of crying and well-being

    I don't platinum alot of games but this is number 4. The story is a fantastic conclusion to the 2018 one. Starts a little slow maybe but definitely picks up and combat becomes really fun as you unlock more moves. New characters were fantastic and I loved seeing them really flesh out the old characters. It's also great for accessibility options as well making it so much easier to tailor theI don't platinum alot of games but this is number 4. The story is a fantastic conclusion to the 2018 one. Starts a little slow maybe but definitely picks up and combat becomes really fun as you unlock more moves. New characters were fantastic and I loved seeing them really flesh out the old characters. The story line is absolutely amazing, there are no drops in frame rate, there are no gimmicks to where you can cheat the game, no unnecessarily long drawn out confusing timelines or pointless story threads that never end. It’s a classic follow up to the God of War based on Nordic gods. There are twists and turns. AThis game is definitely game of thr year. ITS WVEN BETTER THAN ELDEN RING. The story line is absolutely amazing, there are no drops in frame rate, there are no gimmicks to where you can cheat the game, no unnecessarily long drawn out confusing timelines or pointless story threads that never end. It’s a classic follow up to the God of War based on Nordic gods. There are twists and turns. A FANTASTIC battle system to make it balanced YET hard. This is not a game where it’s a walk in the park. But yet, you do not have to roll around 15,000 times or cheaply go and farm souls in some gimmicky way to beat it. You still have to use skill. Not only all this. But thr replay value is most certainly there. You can play this game over and over. Plus there are plenty of after storyline activities to follow thru with. All in all.     It's a pretty decent game :)
    To me some of the side/endgame content is what elevates this game a little bit.
    Could give the game an 8 because of it but i still don't quite feel like the game deserves it because there is some parts of the game that feels drawn out a bit. To a point where i would continue to ask, WOULD YOU PLEASE GET TO THE **** POINT? Btw, Thor is daddy.

    Masterpiece, i love it , just amazing, Ragnarok was superior to god of war 2018, in my opinion it surpassed it in all aspects, immense improvements in the gameplay,the fights are much more fluid, etc, the story is also much better, more complex, with more plot-twists, best game of 2022 and one of the best games ever.

    The game is beautiful, the voice acting is incredible! Years ago, playing the originals, I never would have imagined a God of War game with such a big open world. Seeing Kratos grow as a character is fantastic. The Norse pantheon was the perfect fit

The story didn't feel like it got going until the first time you played as Atreus. Other than that is    I absolutely LOVED the first game. Loved it. Played it through maybe 6 times and got the Platinum. So I'm sad to say I didn't find Ragnarok anywhere near as good.

    Unfortunately, this one felt like a struggle for the first 20 hours, and that soured me for the rest of the play through. The story didn't feel like it got going until the first time you played as Atreus. Other than that is was; go here, press button, go back there, press button, since and repeat. It was really mind numbering and felt like filler. It also didn't help that the combat felt more like a chore this time.

    The other thing I found really lacking in this one was the wonderment. Number 1 had so many jaw-dropping moments of sheer wonderment and imagination; Freyr's turtle/house, the realm machine, the realm of the elves Alfheim - I could go on and on. The variation of foes, locations, creatures, etc was inspiring.

    The story in Ragnarok does have a lot of heart though, and is the best thing about the whole experience, but again, it takes way too long for it to kick into gear.

    Overall, for me, it would have been a far stronger game with more wonderment and less bloating and filler. I've played it once, and that will be it, I have zero desire to go through it again.    … Expand

    My new all time favourite. It was such a blast the whole way through. Story gripped me from the beginning. Visuals are breathtaking and the combat is extremely fun. If I have to name a negative, it's the backseating NPC's when you're solving a puzzle. But the rest is so good that it won't effect my score for this game. Truly an one of a kind experience you don't wanna miss.

    While falling a little short of its predecessor in the grand gameplay moments i love its predecessor for, the beautiful story and characters are pushed forward and forfill their potentials. There is room for a DLC and I hope we get it!

Não, ele sabia que Kratos estava procurando a lança para matar Himdal, mas não avisou Himdal ou pelo menos não tirou chifre dele.
    Fenrir era um fantasma e não fez nada no enredo. Thor, o deus do trovão, foi morto por uma lança de um golpe e desapareceu: /
    Também o algoritmo de combate de Odin, Thor e até mesmo Himdal era pobre e ruim e não era criativo em nada.

    Fantastic game. Sucks it’s being review bombed so I thought I’d come in and bring a review. Great bosses. Vanahiem was easily the best realm. It was the one that utilized verticality the most. Some of the areas really didn’t which sucked but overall I had a great time with the game. I had a few issues with the story but not enough to fully impact my experience

    The devs played it safe, most of the people will gulp a sequel up even if sheeet hurling monkeys have been the norm and would be satisfied in the end, so in a sense they do whatever they want. The game will sell a lot, and they will make a new GOW game 5 years later and everyone will forget what a    Sony Santa Monica got the same disease that made Naughty Dog create the horrible TLOU2.

    The devs played it safe, most of the people will gulp a sequel up even if sheeet hurling monkeys have been the norm and would be satisfied in the end, so in a sense they do whatever they want. The game will sell a lot, and they will make a new GOW game 5 years later and everyone will forget what a terrible abomination they created back then. I'm just not sure there is a way back for SSM after what they have done.

    Everything was subpar compared to the previous game. There are a lot of subtle things that made the overall atmosphere out of place.

    Mimir... he was doing the same as before, just more of it. It became boring. He had zero substance to what he had to say and also the mystery is lost, like writers' block assaulted the story writers.

    They added a lot of things/variety from the previous game, that wasn't needed at all. Atreus wasn't annoying, he was just plain naive. Atreus was dethroned by Freya as the most frustrating/annoying sidekick, like an old hag who has to run her mouth no matter what. Angrboda... is the TLOU2 kindergarten element of the game, out of place, unnecessary, ruined the overall pacing.

    Parts where you had to go with Atreus... like someone was sleep deprived and forced to create that part of the game. Unnecessary, filler content.

    Where is the violence? Why is Kratos acting like a lapdog instead of a rabid dog? Why is he swallowing his pride and endure all kinds of trash from retards? Why can't I butcher down I don't like and put the Disney squirrel in a bag, kick it into the nether, then lie to Atreus that Ratatoskr left because he was looking for the ultimate acorn tree?

    The new weapon? Like you are fighting with a needle. Old weps have been mutilated too. The boring aspects and runics are left in, the cool ones removed or modified to be uncool.

    Lots of repugnant characters. Mostly uninteresing new monsters, borderline annoying little retardations one hitting you and the like. Goofyness maxed out, violence zeroed.

    Zero chance to shape the main plot thread, maximum linearity.

    Berserkers? Filler bosses.

    I just don't like when someone forcible defecates down in my throat. This fu**ing with the fanbase thing is the latest norm and to be honest quite dispiriting. There is enough evil sh*t going on in the world, but now that it is also making rounds in gaming space is something that is not taken lightly. AAA games are dead. GOW as a franchise got zeroed for me. I will not replay this abomination that's for sure, and I'm not even sure I'm gonna finish the game. I'd rather play the previous game another time.

    God of War: Ragnarok is an amazingly great game and should win GOTY at this years Game Awards.
    I'm currently at 28 hours of playtime according to my ps5 games page ( Love the fact we can see how long we have played a game thanks Sony) its so mesmerizingly detailed in graphics performance and fps, the emotions are a roller coaster of amazement.GG and Good luck Santa Monica Studio.

    This is by far the best game i have ever played. Period. I have been gaming for almost 15 years and i can tell you that no game... I repeat NO GAME! got me like this one.
    From the game game play to the character development, this has been absolutely phenomenal.

    As a sequel to GoW (2018), it takes everything the previous installment did great and made it amazing. The combat, the puzzle solving, the bosses, the side missions, the rpg elements and the character development are taken to a    GoW Ragnarok is an incredible experiencie from beginning to end (which by the way is only really reached when you do all the extra content the game has to offer).

    As a sequel to GoW (2018), it takes everything the previous installment did great and made it amazing. The combat, the puzzle solving, the bosses, the side missions, the rpg elements and the character development are taken to a whole different level.

    While by the end of the main story its clear the game was actually planned as a trilogy, the landing of the ending and the culmination of the Norse Saga was well executed. We can only wonder where the story will go from here    … Expand

    Equals or exceeds 2018 in nearly every way. It is a terrific conclusion to the Norse saga. Kratos does it once again. Now just waiting for New Game+ so I can experience the game with the maxed out weapons. Thank you SSM for another emotional, powerful, worthwhile journey.

The story is enriching, the gameplay has a familiarity to it but enough differences to make you change up how you play, and it’s take on Norse Mythology continues to be a breath of fresh air compared to the Marvel take that dominates pop culture (nothing against marvel). If you want a video game with an amazing story,This has been an amazing game! A perfect follow up to God of War (2018).     I wasn't really sure how they were going to top GoW 2018, or how they would manage to cap off this storyline within two games, but Ragnarok turned out to be an incredible game that exceeded my expectations in every way.

    The combat overhaul and added verticality to level design managed to address most of the issues of the first game. They were more minor complaints for me, granted, but    I wasn't really sure how they were going to top GoW 2018, or how they would manage to cap off this storyline within two games, but Ragnarok turned out to be an incredible game that exceeded my expectations in every way.

    The combat overhaul and added verticality to level design managed to address most of the issues of the first game. They were more minor complaints for me, granted, but seeing that addressed, seeing a dedicated button added to give your attacks more elemental damage, being able to strike from above, the tweaks to the Spartan Rage system, other upgrades that shall not be mentioned here for the sake of Spoilers... all were great choices that culminated in an amazing gameplay experience.

    The narrative... it's hard to get into that without spoilers, but the way they managed to weave the storyline together in the main missions so masterfully, while enhancing it in side missions in such a way that it adds to and enriches the story without locking anything crucial to it behind them is just plain amazing. The ending feels like such a satisfying conclusion both for this story arc and for Kratos' arc in general that, even though I do hope for more, they could honestly just end the franchise here and it would feel complete.

    Can't recommend the game enough. It's a heck of an experience.    … Expand

    Definitely my game of the year! Very good exploration, which can provide up to 60-70 hours of fun. And the story never gets boring, on the contrary, more interesting with each discovery. Amazing new characters that don't even need a lot of screen time to make us like them. Ragnarok is amazing.

    Definitely a 10/10 for me. This game elevated everything that was good from the previous one. The story, the journey, the characters evolution, the dialogues and the battles ... omg the battles. It's gameplay is incredible. The combat is brutal. One of the best action games I've ever played. Looking forward to the Platinum.

    Overall great experience, but I would personally say that GoW 2018 is overall a better game. It's hard to judge because from a technical standpoint almost everything in this game is better. The levels are great, the music is fantastic, the combat evolves in an appropriate and fun way. I just felt underwhelmed by how the story plays out, 2018 just hit harder.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Santa Monica Studios outdid themselves. What lacked from God of War 2018 was the lack of weapons and gear and enemies. In the first 30 minutes you fight more type of enemies from GOW 2018. Then the weapons. Wow, we get the curve by not welding mjolnir but the spear. I found myself just using the spear. The combat is amazing and precise. The variety of gear lets you customize how you want to play. You want to go full glass cannon or tank with your builds. So much fun. Story wise did lack a bit but not enough to ruin my experience. Brok blessing the spear and that other scene had my allergies going. Amazing game. I can’t wait till new game plus… Expand

    Well, Gowr's game is not the best in the series, but rather the best in this generation in terms of story, acting scenes. Soundtracks . The visual effects all put it on top of the gaming industry

    I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
