    This game did an amazing job combining story and gameplay in a way that I found incredibly immersive. I was already engaged from playing the first game, but my investment in the story only grew as it continued. The new characters are great, and I am excited for where this series goes next.

    This game basically takes everything that worked with its predecessor and made all of it better. The only thing I would say isn't as good as the first game is the story because it isn't as focused, but even then it introduces you to far more areas of the map and the end has far more spectacle - 9.5/10

    Ragnarok is DEFINITELY a fantastic follow up to God of War 2018 with an amazing story, INSANE graphics, an amazing FromSoftware like combat, and overall, a TRUE masterpiece for the PS5 that will be talked about for years to come.

    This game is beautiful in every sense! Graphics, plot, gameplay... It all makes the game great! She easily devotes part of 2018 to her characters and plot. The story will touch anyone who has gone through at least one of the past parts and it's beautiful. SantaMonica was not let down again and proved that they could do the impossible!

Un juego increíble e imperdible para cualquier fan de la saga god of war, similar en muchos aspectos y mecánicas al juego anterior (god of war 2018) pero mejorando varias de las mecánicas y aspectos del juego, el arco argumental de Kratos aquí se lleva a un extremo el cual, llega a ser inmejorable, dándonos en distintos momentos la mejoría como ser humano de Kratos, al respetar y valorar las decisiones de Atreus, Atreus un personaje con varios momentos juganles, los cuales en momentos llegan a ser tediosos y cansantes, el mayor ejmplo de esto es el bosque de hierro el cual a pesar de no ser más de 2 horas, es aburrido para muchos jugadores, el cual, históricamente no es malo ya que abarca y enriquece la historia de los gigantes y las raíces de Atreus, un Juegazo, en cualquier aspecto, pero queda opacado al no innovar mucho en las distintas mecánicas vistas en el juego anterior, muy recomendable para amantes y no muy amantes de la saga en general, un sólido 8/10 pudo llegar a tener mejores peleas de jefes, mejor final, y acortar algunas partes tediosas… Expand

    O jogo é tecnicamente sensacional, a gameplay é ótima, os gráficos são incrìveis, não encontrei bugs nem crash.
    Entretanto, quando finalizei a história minha sensação foi de frustração. Não gostei da parte final do jogo, o Thor morre de maneira muito fácil e nem é o Kratos que o mata, o Odin morre de maneira muito simples, o Kratos sequer pega o Mjolnir.

    damn near perfect game. The one thing i didn't like was when Freya started shouting when i didn't do something right immediately ( especially in combat sections ). but other than that amazing game.

    Santa Monica Studio's did it again. This game is nothing short of outstanding. It took everything it did well in GOW 2018 and completely magnified it. The story alone is incredible and took me through a roller coaster of emotions. Every character is so amazingly well realized, with all of them genuinely having memorable moments. Дуже сподобалось те, що на сей раз дуже мало артефактів, які потрібно збирати по всьому світу. Сподобався сюжетний розворіт, коли Тюр виявися Одіном, дуже шкода Брока((( а також його брата Сіндрі, який думаю вже не пробаче Атрея. Хз, вважаю гру трохи краще останньої, сюжет став більш таким жвавим та більш багатий на різні цікаві моменти. Просто чудова гра, навіть після проходження на 100% було бажання грати у цю гру!!!… Expand

    Let me start with the positive things:
    The games combat is amazing, it just expanded on an already good combat system. The story was very decent and most of the characters were awesome. They improved the Leviathan axe and the blades of chaos and added an fine enough side weapon the runic was fun to use. The and the design of the characters and the world is so beautiful. Asgard was a bit of an let down but still was awesome, and it was the same thing as Ragnarök itself. It was underwhelming but awsome at the same time. Nearly all of the Bosses were awesome they were at the same level as gow 3. And the Atreus mission after ironwood was pretty nice. Also all the different sheilds was also awsome.



    Negative things:
    Let me talk about the elephant in the room first, Ironwood was **** even though if it did had a decent boss fight and the realm itself looked nice, its so nice that i seriously want to live there. But anyway Ironwood gave us everything bad about gow (2018) and expanded on it, long walks and talks and it should have been way shorter than it should have been. The seriously made us pick up roots and **** berries!, And to make it worse they forces us to go down to a **** cave to kill those little **** monster for **** paint. And the first mission as Atreus was also boring, but atleast it didn't uneccasearly drag on. And the runic while although fun to use didn't feel that powerful and downgraded the old ones. And sometimes enemies gets these sheild that they can"t be stunned no matter what, it was fine in the last because it only had one enemy that couldn't be stunned and it was great to fight and still is, and it is the traveler.

    But overall i Don't really mind those things because everything else is an improvement to an already great god of war game.

    And this is a great **** game, but it also fell flat with Ragnarök and the story while at the same time being very. And to expand Ragnarök they could atleast have a boss fight the dragon in Ragnarök, but i still liked the event.

    So i give this game a 9.5/10.    … Expand

    This is undoubtedly one of the greatest games I have ever gotten the pleasure to experience. From the gameplay to the story and all the way down to the soundtrack, everything is captivating. I played this game a few months ago when it was released but I already cannot wait to see what's next in the GoW franchise.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I may be a complete idiot but I found the exploration a lot more confusing this time around. A spent hours upon hours running around in areas because the map/compass mislead me constantly. It took me out of the game at points and forced me to resort to tutorials on "how to get to X place/complete this quest".

    I always vowed to never look anything up unless I absolutely had to, unfortunately I did that more than I'd like to admit.

    I also found Atreus/Loki's sections mid-game rather tedious, especially his time in the woods. I wanted that to end after a while. I would knock my score down to an 8.5 if I could but that's down to how I played the game. Ending my previous session at the perfect time and coming back to over an hour of wondering through the woods with Atreus completely threw me off.

    Other than that though, the game itself is wonderful, the story is near immaculate and it's a perfect continutation to 2018's God of War. If you''ve played God of War, you'd be an absolute fool to not play this. There's no need to force any innovation when they absolutely knocked it out the park in 2018. Uncharted remained the same for 5 games, God of War can do the same.

    The negative reviews are outrageous here, "outdated combat", "a reskin", "didn't live up to my expectations" etc. This game easily lives up to mine and I'm sure if you go into this game with the intention of enjoying it, you will. It's at worst a 7 and at best an 11.    … Expand

    What a fantastic experience this was. I laughed, I cried, just an absolute roller coaster. I couldn’t recommend this more. Make sure you play God of War 2018 first. I guess you don’t really have to play the other ones, but I would recommend it. There are slight nods during conversations to the older games; but I don’t think it would be game breaking if you hadn’t played them.

O plot twist sim, foi bem acertado e verdadeiro, não estava à espera em nenhum segundo. Outro ponto positivo, foi ver a evolução de Kratos, quanto ao seu caráter e afetividade. De um deus de guerra que sempre procurava sangue e vingança, passou a querer aproveitar cada segundo que tinha, a acompanhar o crescimento do filho, pois não sabia o último momento em que poderia falecer.

    Gameplay: Continuava bom, vindo da transição do primeiro jogo. Não mudou quase nada, mas os tweaks foram bons. Gameplay fluída e engraçada.

    Música: Em todos os momentos, excelente. Orquestra única e própria para cada momento, com efeitos sonoros de boa qualidade também.

    Gráficos: Tavam bons, mas podiam ser bastante melhores, tendo em conta o poder da consola. Notou-se em bastantes momentos que o jogo ainda foi feito para servir consolas da geração anterior.    … Expand

Cały przedstawiony świat robił duże wrażenie, a przeciwnicy iTo, że to jest gra a nie film, jest dla nas graczy zbawieniem. Arcydzieło w czystej postaci. Twórcy przeszli samych siebie, tworząc historię tak powalającą, że nie ma słów.     God of War Ragnarök combines engaging combat and a complex gear system with on of the greates video game stories ever. There are so many unique and memorable characters, you really get attached to them.

    I would give it 9,5/10 if there was an option. But this will do for now. The game is absolutely incredible with only a couple of promblems. +the combat has many builds, it is flashy but doesn’t take control away and it is mostly perfectly balanced

    One of the best games i have played so far the graphics plus the story it has everything.it looks exceptional in 4k 60fps. i wish I could forget the story somehow so that I could once again feel like I am playing the game for the first time .it's just magnificent and as a god of war fans of the previous games this just takes it up a notch.

    The boss fights in this game are some of the most fun ive had in a long time. I just wish there were some changes in combat, which isnt easy to do but it didnt hit the mark that much for me.

    This game is very good but not perfect. Don't get me wrong but it felt different than the 2018 one. Some missions were pretty boring and kind of long. The ending was phenomenal and it was very emotional

    As always, santa monica studio delivered a masterpiece :)
    Though it didn't impact me as the first one, it is still very good.
    The combat system has been improved and is more varied. But the absence of QTE was a real shame.
    The story is very good but too bad it didn't go deeper for some side characters we met in the game, this could have been more interesting.

    Great sequel from a great developer, the game is easily the GOTY for me. Kratos development and characterization as well as his control over his rage are highlights of the series. Can't wait for what the future holds for Kratos

    I love the game I love how they made it where u can control Atreus I do feel his part of the game in jotunheim was a little bit long but I enjoy the story and how Kratos finally accepts Atreus going on to help the giants at the end

    The emotion, the performances, the combat, and the side quests/exploration this game offers makes it an easy 9/10. The biggest problem I had with is was there were some pacing issues and some parts of the story either dragged on for way to long (breaking momentum) or other elements werent explored more making it seem like it left a bitter taste in your mouth.     I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord.
