    It doesn't look stuffed. The story you are told is just as intense and engaging as the one in the main game. Some new mechanics that make the game more entertaining and that happen enough few times so that they don't get boring

    While the asking price of the Iki Island DLC does seem a bit costly in hindsight, the game delivers an enjoyable experience overall. It explores Jin Sakai's grief while bringing his story to a reasonably satisfying conclusion, and does enough in the gameplay department to keep players constantly engaged in what is happening.

    So many combat styles and options. Ninja? Go crazy. Samauri? Yup. Ronin? You betcha. A mongul will fall all the same. Whether or not you lean into the mastery of these styles makes or breaks your experience.

    This is also a looker of a game, the art direction captures the wonder of Japan.

    Great graphics, great gameplay, good sound, but very bland and weak story, even worse than the main game. I recommend it if you like the Japanese / samurai theme or Akira Kurosawa movies, otherwise just buy it only on sale.

    Such a beautiful game with a very enjoyable combat system. You get to be a samurai and a ninja at the same time. Anyone that has ever wanted to experience that fantasy should try.

    Excellent! The DLC adds quite a few amazing things to the game, but generally just gives you more of a great thing. Finding out more about Jin's family was neat and it definitely holds up the high standard of the base game.

    I enjoyed playing through the mainlining the story expansion but if I'm honest it's not the greatest story and it's a bit predicable. However, once that's done I then travelled around the island on my horse and it was then that the beauty of this title revelaed itself. The island is a living breathing ecosystem. From the monkeys to the mountains and the cats to the beautiful grasslands.I enjoyed playing through the mainlining the story expansion but if I'm honest it's not the greatest story and it's a bit predicable. However, once that's done I then travelled around the island on my horse and it was then that the beauty of this title revelaed itself. The island is a living breathing ecosystem.     Iki Island is a thoughtful addition to an already amazing title. Taking a deeper look into jin's personal struggles with his past, this DLC brings new life to GoT with a meaningful story, expanded combat, and a new enemy that stands toe-to-toe with our beloved Jin Sakai. Fans of Ghost will not be disappointed.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is one of the best dlc's ive played in a long time. It dives deeper into Jin's traumatic past and internal struggles, as he goes back to the place where he watched his father die. Yet the story of Iki Island was not what I expected it to be. Jin's character development was so unique, as he finds out his father's dark past and brutal actions which he inflicted upon iki island, and now Jin must face the truth that he might not have known his father as well as he thought he did.

    The island is beautiful and more colorful than the tsushima island itself, the new horse attack was awesome and the new enemies were pretty annoying in a good way, the main antagonist was very very intimidating, the combat and gameplay was perfect and the new side quests and mini games were great as well. But what really amazed me is the story itself that adds to what was an amazing ghost of tsushima story in the original version.    … Expand

    this DLC is a complete ghost of tsushima experience, the story gets to be subreal and adds a lot to the game. The gameplay is really cool and the vibrations on the controller really make us immerse in the game.

    Sucker Punch won my heart with the original infamous and since then all their games keep improving on the previous one. They took a long time to release another ps4 titles but the wait was worth it. My biggest take is the absence of HUD, so you get to immerse yourself in the environment as the wind is used to guide you to your next location. Besides the fact that you learn more about the past of Jin and his father, the environment feels even more atmospheric and small gameplay mechanics have been added that make combat even more refined than it already was.     - The 9 main missions can be completed very fast. Maybe this is an issue when you buy the dlc as a ‘stand alone’ game but this is not an issue in the Directors Cut. Besides, there are a lot of sides stories to complete the Iki island expansion.    … Expand

    FINAL VERDICT
    I give this game a solid 10/10. I bought the base PS4 version and I was ok to pay for the upgrade not only for the new expansion with Iki Island (which will take 10 to 15 hours to complete as a whole) but also for the revamp in the graphics, and audio. Go get it and become one of the most badass Shinobi!

    Joguei a versão do PS4 no ps5 e já me diverti muito, a expansão vem para mais conteúdo e histórias abertas da campanha principal sobre Jin e seu pai, estou me divertindo muito e parece que a expansão está longe de acabar, da até vontade de fazer uma campanha nova para rejogar o game

    Loved it, absolutely loved it. This is not a DLC it’s essential to understand Jin’s backstory and his past and his future too. EXCELLENTLY DONE!

    PS: This is my review after 100% everything in the island with regards to trophies. Do not just do the main story you’ll lose 60% of your experience I had. Explore the island and stories before beating the final boss! So MUCH JOY! Great story    Loved it, absolutely loved it. This is not a DLC it’s essential to understand Jin’s backstory and his past and his future too. EXCELLENTLY DONE!

    i play this game with my lover, she compliments the game well vl, i spent 30$ to buy dlc and feel it's worth the money, my experience on ps5 is nothing better, 10/10

    Where some expansions expand on the gameplay with core changes and new systems, Ghost of Tsushima's Iki Island acts more like an extension of the main game loved by so many - with only minor yet appreciated tweaks. For the most part, in conjunction with changes to enemy combat skills and exploration, along with turning your horse into a weapon, playing through Iki fits wonderfully into this originally three-act epic as a welcome fourth. Ever so slightly dusted with imperfections, the captivating story, combat, graphics, and soundtrack are all still among the very best PlayStation exclusives have to offer, mostly overshadowing any grievances.

    If you’re looking for 10-15 hours more of Ghost of Tsushima but with a greater emphasises on the inner struggles of Jin and an exploration of his backstory coupled with some meaty side quests, cat petting and disgustingly stunning scenery, you really can’t go wrong with taking on the island of Iki.

    Despite those shortcomings, there’s no question that Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island is an entertaining overall experience and I’m confident most players will find it worth the asking price; in particular, because the story strengthens Jin’s character arc by shining a light on an aspect of his youth not particularly well explained in the base game. For that reason, it works as an adventure played alongside the base game, and equally as an engaging new chapter for those playing it after the fact.
