    I really doubt that the game designers ever played the game before releasing the game. For example, it will take 5-30s after finishing the dungeon, what is the point? Another example is that if your teammate dies, you can never find them with the mark on the map just because the game designer cannot get the fking simple coordinate right. and so so many those kind of details are indicatingI really doubt that the game designers ever played the game before releasing the game.     This has been the worst game I've ever played. Constant lags, disconnects (record was 3 disconnects in 5 minutes).

    I've asked for a refund for Diablo IV and hope other people enjoy playin' it. For me, it legit was the worst game I've ever played.

    Believe me, don't waste your time and money on this horrible game. The game designers are trying their best to make you feel awful. They promised they would not nerf any bd in the middle of the season, but oops, sorry , I did it again "coincidentally"! Shame on you Blizzard.

    Great campaign but severely lacking any endgame and itemisation (no Uber bosses with loot drop tables besides one with no good loot all the way at lvl100 which 99.9% of people aren’t getting to anyway ..

    Could i please ask for a refund, the game is completely half baked, tons of bugs, clearly the developers have no ideas how to create a proper game, blizzard has used up all its fame and glory.

    Please allow microsoft to purchase blizzard and revitalize it. goddamn activision

    The Diablo IV is my biggest disappointment of 2023 in terms of consumer spending. I can't believe it had such a catastrophic gaming experience.

Obviously, D4 team is too arrogant and treat players are idiots since they already got the money. The season 1 experience is completely destroyed for Rogue player after they ninja fix the poison. They claimed this fix should be in the future instead of 1.1.1Terrible gaming experience. The team didn’t know what they are doing. Random nerf, ninja fix without notice, no career balance.     It’s really bad, the developers never listen to the gamer community and their opinion, they created a game that wasn’t ready to release with laggy servers and no offline mode. The game does not have a complete story, just so they can create more expansions and overpriced dlcs. I’m a huge fun of diablo games but this one does not pass the vibe check. Avoid it at all costs!

    70 EUR for this unfinished peace of a game. Its that kind ob bad and feels like a beta. Patches are ridicolous and slow. Never again in my life i buy a blizzard game on release.

I have been playing blizzard games since Warcraft 1 and every title they made for a very long time ---- warcraft 2 / tides of darkness expansion then the battle.net edition that allowed online multiplayer. Then Starcraft 1 then Broodwar. Then Diablo 1 and Diablo 2. And Lord of destruction expansion. Warcraft 3 reign of chaos into Frozen throne expansion. Then World of Warcraft. Then starcraft 2 and all its expansions.... Slowly over time they shifted into microtransactions and shady business practices where the heart of the company died. Blizzard is not the same company it once was it is now just a shadow of a greedy stock market investor using strings to orchestrate a money printing method to prey on young adults and children and their parents. Do not support this company. Support a better game dev like Larian Studios who actually values your hard earned money and your time invested into a game. Baldurs gate 3 is 10,000 times better game than this game will ever be.… Expand

    Big pile of trash on the top of a garbage pile...the game is so bad even after patch 1.1.1. i played for 5 minutes and almost felt physical pain.I had high hopes for D4, but its just simply badly designed,boring and mindless game from a soulless company im not buying any more blizzard games in the future for sure.

    Albion online is so much better why whould you waste time on such a **** game the character creator in gta3 has more contetnt than this thing the only ppl that give this game more than a one are 40 year old fathers who miss old zelda even tho they never played any of the older titles.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This isn't a review bomb. I've thought long/hard about this. It is sad because this game could have been amazing. In the beginning - the first week - it felt like it was going to be. I sang it's praises; I looked past the obvious flaws. I said "it just came out, they will fix it..."

    But Blizzard has.done nothing but make the game worse, week after week. It is clear to me now that this game was highly engineered/researched/developed to extract the most money out of me as possible.

    How you ask - there is no pay to win, you don't need to buy a battle pass/skin. True. But Blizz has, and.continues, to make the game increasingly frustrating/unrewarding/unfun - with the expectation that I will spend more $.

    It feels like a rug pull... and that is a big reason for the rating. 2 quick examples:

    Leveling takes FOREVER, and past lvl 55-60 it's the only thing to do. There used to be a 25% exp boost for doing more difficult dungeons. This hardly made a difference, but it was all that was left after countless nerfs made leveling to 100 insanely more difficult than it was at launch. They did this right before the 1st season: it discouraged you from leveling your non-seasonal character... But hey, there are leveling buffs in the season, so just start a new toon and level up in the season, right? Why would Blizzard do this... well you can't buy a season pass if you aren't playing in the season now can you? They broke the "eternal realm" to push people to the "seasonal" realm. Call this theory crazy, explain how it wouldn't work on you. But it WILL WORK ON SOME PEOPLE. And every $ counts. So they did it - a rug pull. Now it takes 25% longer (in just this one change) to level up.

    They also increased the amount of time it takes to teleport out of a dungeon after clearing it by a significant %. Why why why in the world would they do this? Because every second adds up, and the longer they can keep you from getting exp, the longer they can keep you in the game.... You're more likely to buy a season pass, but even if you don't they can quote higher player counts at their seasonal, sorry - quarterly profits calls. Seconds add up, and this was just the canary in the coal mine that was so blatant and on the nose. Believe that they are actively trying every possible trick in the book to do the exact same thing via other mechanics/changes/etc.

    I could go on and on, in sure others have. It would be one thing if the game just released with the problems it has. But it is much more than that - this is a rug pull. They are actively making the game worse to play, in an attempt to get more money from the players. Regardless of if it is working, or blowing up in their face -- that is what's going on.

    My wife and I both paid $90+ tax for early access. We were looking forward to playing this for 100's of hours, but we both quit - independently - before 3 weeks. She's at lvl 56, I made it to 82.

    It's not fun. On top of all the BS it is not fun, and our time is better spend on a number of better games.

    It's really sad what Blizzard did to this beloved IP. It will never be enough money for them...    … Expand

And there's tomb lord and that abomination thing as the final boss of every dungeon. You can't fight duriel or andariel or those renowned bossed anymore onceAside from all the already spoken issue with the game. Oh and you have to redo like 10ish stronghold, hundred exactly same sidequests, dungeons, and stuff again and again every season and character just for a few paragon and skill points.

    What got me this far to sign up for an account to review was because the unbelievable level that the Devs of this game disrespects it's players.

    Hundreds of hours sinked into the game, building the character, picking up every single piece of garbage drop because of the unbelievable reroll cost. working on the gears and aspects. Only to get slammed with a nerf hammer putting your build into a unplayable piece of craps. worked on another build and character for some time again, just to get another hit into ground.

    I don't understand we aren't getting any respect when we paid for the game and invested so much time just to get ripped into pieces because they can.

    For those that haven't played the game. Don't bother, it's just going to be disappointing. The game was not designed to be fun, and they're trying to take more fun away when you finally find something.

    By the way, this game, with the name Diablo, does not include Diablo in the whole gaming process.    … Expand

This system discourages newcomers and feels like a blatant cash grab, pushing players to invest in better gear to survive.

    Performance and Bugs - I was among the enthusiasts who prepurchased Diablo IV, eagerly anticipating a polished experience. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Frequent lag, game-breaking bugs, and sudden freezes plague the game. This is especially catastrophic for Hardcore mode players, where a single death can mean the loss of hours, days, or even weeks of progress. These performance issues are a slap in the face for a franchise known for its tight mechanics and smooth gameplay.

    In conclusion, Diablo IV feels like a missed opportunity. It deviates too far from the series' foundation, introducing frustrating mechanics and under-delivering the quality we've come to expect. I yearned for the next epic chapter in the Diablo saga, but this... this just isn't it.    … Expand

    problemas técnicos e de balanceamento afetam a jogabilidade. Bugs, quedas de framerate e desequilíbrios nas habilidades dos personagens prejudicam a imersão e a diversão. A inteligência artificial dos inimigos também deixa a desejar, tornando os confrontos menos desafiadores do que poderiam ser.

    The game planner doesn't know how to make a good game at all, and will only wantonly cut off the gameplay that makes players feel comfortable. A great game is now a piece of **** There is no fun in continuing to play. Giving this game a score of zero is too much. Put away your lofty attitude, kneel down and play games honestly, the player is your father, understand?

    There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
