    This is an ACTION RPG with slow paced action.

    It's a LOOT hunter with boring loot.

    This is an MMO with no social aspects.

    A dungeon crawler that feels more like a game of fetch the stones and put them on the pedestals.

    Just bought this game a few days before the big change. Got played. Haven't bought a game at full price in a long time, took the chance, got effed. It WAS fun but there is a HUGE stark difference in power and defense. (Obviously)

Instead of learning from the mistakes of its predecessor, Diablo 3, they seem determined to repeat them. The game lacks innovation and fails to deliver the dark, gritty atmosphere we loved about the franchise. But worst of all, they ignore the fervent pleas of theDiablo 4, oh, what a disappointment! It's clear that Blizzard and their developers are completely out of touch with their fans. Instead of learning from the mistakes of its predecessor, Diablo 3, they seem determined to repeat them.     Game was pretty fun at release. Obvisouly bugs and issues but for the most part it scratched the itch.

    After reading the new patch notes its very clear that the devs do not play their own game. They would rather slow the game down then add new content to justify their $70 game.

    PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING BLIZZARD UNTIL THEY FIRE THE WHOLE FREAKING DEPARTMENT.

    Absolute joke from Blizzard yet again after the latest patch, they show that they don't want you to have fun, they want you to grind endlessly(and boringly). The problem is if the grind isnt fun or rewarding in any way there is no point. Score will stay low until blizzard puts the fun back into the game

    Here is the short version of what they did...     It's Blizzard. If it ain't broke, they'll break it.

It's clear that the devs are either looking at the wrong data to begin with, or they are poorly interpreting the correct data.

    It's almost as though they are only paying attention to the metrics coming from the streamers and hardcore players (not that it's their fault) and trying to balance the game around the 1% vs the tons of people playing the game casually who might like to see the beginning of the top end some time this year.

    The end of this Season will be telling on whether I change my score. If less than 10% of the active Season 1 participants make it to 100, and something isn't done/admitted to immediately, I'll rate this as a zero forever. The game is good. The devs are poor.    … Expand

    The game had a very limited amount of promise in pre-season (which was basically an open beta with an abundance of bugs), during which there were some interesting concepts but little to no end game and a very “empty grind feeling” similar to that of No Man’s Sky at release. The season 1 changes have only further doubled down on this.     would be nice if developer listen to communities feedback, while the class is so unbalance, they would acknowledge it (they say so). make us wait for new patch, then when the patch comes, we see minimal class balance, and something randomly like increase the time it takes for you to tp to down from 3 to 5 second?

    Devs are in the business to waste players time and sell microtransactions. The latest patch did nothing to help the game, and is going to force out a large part of the playerbase. Instead of creating an actual end game the developers decided that leveling is now the end game, as they nerfed the experience gains and several other aspects, so leveling will take much longer.     They are srsly million things which they should have worked on.
    For example : Endcontent - it simply doesn't exist. It's absolutly boring between lv. 75 to 100 That If you are lv 100 - whats next ? - Uber Lilith and... NOTHING else.     Blizzard bvrought out a game with a great foundation and until now they made nothing out of it.
    If you wanna play diablo gameplay : Play Path of Exile or D2 resu or D3.
    D4 isn't worth your time.
    4 Tabs in your stash..... LOL every 5 Euro game offers more. ( And of course they need around 6-8 month to find and install a solution)

    I could write 1 hour but I am realizing that i could spend my time in a better way.

    1 last thing : There are Uber Uniques like grandfather and they are called *the undroppables*
    Let me explain shortly explain why: Their are several types of items: white, magic, rare, Legendarys, Uniques and Uber Uniques. You receive more or less every 20 Dungeons an Unique. To receive an Uber Unique you have to run 20.000.000 NM-Dungeons ( Of course if you are in NM-Dungeons with mobs which have to have more than lv 85 ).
    That means you will practically never see just 1 of these *undroppables*    … Expand

    Terrible game with a terrible vision. Blizzard doesn’t know how to make a good Diablo game anymore. The recent patch that dropped today absolutely destroyed the game, and blizzard has confirmed that’s the direction that the game will be going forward. Waste of money.

    I made an account just to post a review. Blizzard's latest update made the game from okay to BAD. All the nerfs revealed how repetitive, tedious and lackluster every content in the game. Maybe in a year or two, this game will be decent. AVOID D4 RIGHT NOW

    Blizz is trying to make and Loot based ARPG MMO, without rewarding loot system. An ARPG without action. A MMO without a social system.

    **** you blizzard, At sone point someone had to have said “this is a bad idea.” That person needs promoted. If no one said that. If everyone thought this was a good idea, then you’ve 100% lost touch with your player base. Diablo 2&3 are still played. No one I know wants to keep playing D4.

    Feels unrewarding now, it was a great initial play through and I was excited for season 1, I even bought the deluxe edition but I don’t like my games feeling like chores, feel bad for anyone who chose to be a sorcerer and sunks hours into this game just for the endgame to be crowd control you can’t avoid and instant deaths, no build should be “mandatory” and that’s how some people areFeels unrewarding now, it was a great initial play through and I was excited for season 1, I even bought the deluxe edition but I don’t like my games feeling like chores, feel bad for anyone who chose to be a sorcerer and sunks hours into this game just for the endgame to be crowd control you can’t avoid and instant deaths, no build should be “mandatory” and that’s how some people are feeling some builds are. Who wants to mash 5 buttons for 4 months to achieve level 80 just to start over? Blizzard lost all creativity. 10+ years in the making for a mediocre story that has 0 re-playability. Nothing is fun about it. I think Blizzard has spent more time trying to bot innew make up on an old hooker. Uninstalling. No ability to make your own build.     原本滿心期待的預購了終極版，剛開始由玩也玩得挺開心的，怎料到玩得越開心，暗黑團隊卻開始不開心了，開始不斷地nerf，從職業開始直到副本再延伸至各處，改到我直接不想上線，最後刪除了遊戲，希望你們遊戲最後直接關服，好好的一個遊戲被愚蠢的團隊毀了，越改越爛，可悲的團隊。

    With each patch they have mad the game worse. The July 18th patch completely destroyed the game though. They nerfed everything and every build in the game. They nerfed your dmg, dmg reduction, cool down reduction, armor. Then they nerfed the XP you get into the ground. The game is not worth playing anymore. Definitely skipping the season now.

    There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
