    Unravel es probablemente uno de los juegos más bonitos que me he echado a la cara. Se trata de un hermoso plataformas en el que encarnamos a un ovillo de lana antropomórfico, que debe avanzar por una serie de niveles, ayudándose del propio hilo del que está formado para trepar, engancharse a piezas con las que resolver puzzles y llegar al final de la fase, mientras recolecta los recuerdosUnravel es probablemente uno de los juegos más bonitos que me he echado a la cara. Se trata de un hermoso plataformas en el que encarnamos a un ovillo de lana antropomórfico, que debe avanzar por una serie de niveles, ayudándose del propio hilo del que está formado para trepar, engancharse a piezas con las que resolver puzzles y llegar al final de la fase, mientras recolecta los recuerdos de la gente que habitó o pasó tiempo en esos escenarios. Nuestro personaje es el hilo conductor de la propia historia, que no es más que un collage de recuerdos de gente anónima enfrentándose o disfrutando de la propia cotidianeidad de la vida.

    El principal fuerte del juego son los gráficos. Son hiperrealistas y hacen que el juego tenga un acabado muy hermoso. Por otra parte tenemos un control simple, con mecánicas sencillas, muy orientado a las físicas de los objetos con los que interactuamos. Finalmente tenemos la dificultad. Unravel no es un juego fácil. Moriremos muchas veces intentando resolver los problemas a los que nos veremos enfrentados. El juego te pedirá paciencia y calma para terminarlo

    The platforming itself is a little stiff and clunky, but the gorgeous environments, beautiful music, and subtle yet strong storytelling make up for it.

    2021 e eu resolvi jogar Unravel, o jogo me surpreendeu positivamente, seu andamento é simples mas muito divertido e gratificante jogar, tem alguns puzzels e desafios bem divertidos e seu clima artístico e atmosfera fazem bem aos olhos juntamente com o sistema de áudio e efeitos sonoros tornam a experiência como um todo bem satisfatória.

    I thought this game was fantastic. The story is a little open ended and really leaves the player to interpret what it all means but I think that is the point since it revolves around family and growing up with the good times and the bad, it leaves the player reminded of his or her own personal memories about family and in some respects makes you want to reconnect with your siblings orI thought this game was fantastic.     Probably the most beautiful looking game I have seen for a long time on console or PC. Played this one with the grandson taking turns till completion. The story hit personally home with the of the cycle of life, death and renewal. Going though the memories of of an old lady and seeing how the environments changed in the game and in the house was very personally foreshadowing.     A fun and beautiful game. And it has one of the best endings ever. It makes you nostalgic after completing it. Even though I played many games, Unravel is in my top 10. Perhaps top 5.

    Unravel is a wonderful puzzle-platformer with a lovable main character called Yarny. It is very Nintendo-esque while still managing to be very unique in its own way. The graphics are beautiful and it's hard to believe this is from an indie developer.     There are a few puzzles that require a bit too much lateral thinking (as opposed to logical). And the platforming whilst good, isn't as pixel perfect as some would like but these 2 minor points don't take away from the fact that this game is one of the greatest hidden gems this generation.     A beautiful looking 2d puzzle side scroller. I played this through with my girlfriend who's not the biggest of gamers, but we both really enjoyed it. The last time I played a 2d game would've been on the Sega Megadrive, and didn't think they'd hold up to other games by today's standards. Now I've purchased Unravel 2 for so we can play through it at the same time, and now it's got me looking into other 2d games that maybe up until now I've overlooked! I highly recommend this game, even if it can be frustrating at times if you get stuck. I didn't just enjoy this through some sort of nostalgic reason, but because it is a bloody good game!… Expand

    The beautiful graphics and a phenomenal soundtrack overpower the not-so-perfect mechanics and sometimes frustrating puzzles. And most importantly, Unravel is a surprisingly emotional and touching experience.

    Of course, the core of the game is the puzzles. The puzzles are based not only on the mechanics of the string, but also on the opening of the collapses, bulkheads with overflowing water or rolling snowballs. The way we get further in the level is obviously somehow arbitrary, but it is clear that the game is rather linear. It's as linear as your memory is able to remember the solution to all the puzzles. Me after the game and returning to the first levels again I had fun. The levels are quite long and the first pass of each of them can take up to 40 minutes, which in the scale of the game is already quite a good result. Additionally, 'find' is found on the levels. To collect them also we have to pile on. For this we have challenges based on special behavior on a given level. For example, in one of them we have to precipitate snow from all available branches in one pass. The fun end is to finish each level without error. This is extremely difficult because Yarn does not like high altitude or water that quickly soars and immediately sinks. So we have 4 levels of challenges that we face before, and that is why it is so great to play the same level a few times.
    Balanced puzzles, beautiful graphics, calm classical music and perfect narration. It's how well all these aspects combine to make it an excellent game. It may not be too long. You will feel awkward, but is not that the right length for a poem? You will always have time to read it again and again. For what I sincerely encourage.    … Expand

    I spent a very long time trying to come up with a reason to mark Unravel down as a game but I just… can’t! Really, I can’t think of one negative thing to say about it. From the visuals to the audio, the smooth and responsive gameplay (and lack of glitches) to the touching story/message; there is nothing wrong with this game. Honestly, if you even slightly enjoy puzzle or platformer games, even slightly, buy Unravel. Do it.
