In general it was a fun game, and since they are relatively short, you can do all the three games in a row.
PROS: Story is engaging, scenarios are delightful, and fights are fun, missions with vehicles too.
CONS: Platform areas felt too linear, almost impossible to fail.

Down to zero, since they don't know how to properly balance difficulty. Managed to get to last chapters of Uncharted 2, and i'm done with their games. I hate it when a game is managable for the most part, but some idiot makes one part artificially difficult, and i have to make dozens of attempts to beat it. There won't be any more money for this company from me.

My review was so hated that it was removed. I didn't say anything wrong, I just questioned the value owning three old games in 1080p. I had never played the Uncharted games on PS3 so this was a brand new experience for me. Cool climbing/leaping aside, the puzzles became tedious and the firefights were pretty standard cover fire. The graphics, though remastered, felt very dated and the story was so cheesy. I understand the "cheesiness" may have been intentional to appeal to a wider audience but I absolutely wasn't expecting to feel so disconnected from basically all of the characters, including Drake. I would maybe buy this compilation for $10 if I had to do it all over again, definitely not worth the $50 I paid for it. Expand

What to say ? We have 3 games which each of them deserve to be in Hall of fame best games in history, all in one place better than ever and remastered for better GFX... Even better is that multiplayer is thrown out so games are sweet for people who doesn't play online to run for platinum! We could not get better intro into Uncharted 4 ...

I never played much of the Uncharted series beforehand but this collection has taken me completely by surprise. There are many outdated elements and frustrating sections but all three games have been updated so beautifully and with great attention to detail. Not particularly challenging but very moreish.

A zero from me because it is a cash grab rehash. Why release Unchartered 4 when you can make another few $millions from a remaster? A financial decision nothing else. These are old games. We got Halo 5 today not a remaster of Halo 4. I got Tomb Raider definitive edition for $10. This should cost no more than $30 as its old, outdated content not a new retail game just released. Price does matter. You pay full retail price for a new release not a rehash remaster with a few tweaks here & there. Not good enough. Zero points. Sony wouldn't make it backward compatible so you have to buy it again for PS4. Many games you bought on a 360 you won't have to buy again shortly when backward compatibility is introduced. This collection is an AMAZING deal. You get three excellent games for the price of one; and these games should be replayed, even if you (like me), played them exhaustive in the past. I honestly lost count of how many times I've played this series and that did not stop me from having a lot of fun with the remastered ones. Also, the collection does not include Multiplayer (but who cares?). Some thoughts on each of the games:

    1) Drake's Fortune: I was not too impressed by the remaster; though the game continues to be incredibly fun. The game was a launch title for the PS3, so it still has a late-PS2, early-PS3 feel to it, which makes it hard to fully revamp it. I would even say that I prefer the original PS3 version. But the game is awesome and I could not put it down.

    2) Among thieves: the high gem of the series. The remaster here is incredible and the game looks more beautiful than ever. So, so much fun. This is by far one of the best adventure games I have ever played, and the PS4 version is amazing.

    3) Drake's deception: I still think U3 does not come even close to the greatness of U2, but it does have some jaw dropping moments - the plane scene in particular is so cool. Also the part with the horses is very cool. The game is fun, it's just not as fun and polished like U2 (don't even get me started on the thug-clones). Being a late-PS3 game, it's easy to see how the remaster got even more beautiful than the original release.

They could've included the VITA version; but I get Naughty Dog's opinion on this. Anyway, this collection deserves to be played.

A complete and utter cash grab. The multiplayer is not in tact, other than resolution there is no graphical overhaul. All that for $60? Right. This should take notes from Halo MCC, they overhauled the graphics and included all the multiplayer components.

A brilliant remastering job by Bluepoint of one of the most epic journeys in the history of gaming, this is a fantastic trio of games at an incredible price. Uncharted 2 still stands as something beyond a perfect 10, but 1 was groundbreaking and still fun, and 3 is a solid 9.5. Must play for all gamers everywhere.

Sure, Gears of War where you only get one game for that money and is the most generic shooter ever built is better (I'm being sarcastic and yes, I own an X1 that came with that game- wish it had been physical so I could have traded it in) and Rare Replay with a dozen games you never wanted to get the one that you did with very little upgrades to the graphics or gameplay and annoying borders on the screen. Such a deal!! Again, sarcasm. Uncharted has never been about the multiplayer, it was tacked on at best and only gained a cult following in 3. Multiplayer in almost every game is highly overrated. Babies who whine about it not being in every single game ever released need to recognize that the rest of us have grown up and recognized what a repetitive slog most MO games are. I expected the game to play like the modern Tomb Raider games and it does, but the combat is even more excessive, repetitive, and frustrating. The game is really more of an on-rails shooter than adventure game, and it does the combat very poorly. There is no auto-aim option, the camera is wonky, and mobs spawn from all directions (including previously cleared rooms) like a 1990s FPS. It's just bad. Adding to the frustration, you have to spend most of your time collecting ammo like in a survival game. It requires scouting around every corpse for a flashing thing on the ground and then pressing a button to loot. It's very easy to accidentally swap weapons instead of looting ammo. It's obnoxious and feels like a throwback to an ancient era best forgotten. I can't say whether the games improve as one moves through the collection because I am not enjoying myself enough to push through the entire series of games. Very disappointing, at least from the perspective of someone just checking in for the first time in 2019. Expand

Now for the games themselves, I have completed the first two and love them. I got this collection back when it was released but didn't actually start playing it until a few days ago. I may put off the 3rd game until Uncharted 4 is closer but I may just end up beating Uncharted 3. The uncharted series are a love it or not series.
