    First time playing Uncharted series and I loved it. Last a few hours of the first game, I've got really plot twisted. Good story, good combat mechanics. After AC games, really good platforming.

    I absolutely loved all three games! Story is amazing with cool places to visit, discover and climb. The only bad thing would be that its so heavily scripted that sometimes you will just die bunch of times because you literally don´t know how to trigger the cutscene to proceed further...

    I bought this collection in order to replay this games on my ps4 for uncharted 4. I enjoyed (mostly) when I played them on the ps3. However while playing this collection I felt that the games haven't aged that well and that is more noticeable if you compare them with the new Tomb Raider games.

    The upscaled graphics and updated textures look good on the ps4, but I have a some issues with    I bought this collection in order to replay this games on my ps4 for uncharted 4. However while playing this collection I felt that the games haven't aged that well and that is more noticeable if you compare them with the new Tomb Raider games.

    The upscaled graphics and updated textures look good on the ps4, but I have a some issues with the controller I felt it a bit clunky, also a lot of glitches, many of them in Uncharted 3. Don't remember having those glitches on the ps3 version.

    For those people who didn't play the originals this collection is worth a try.

    The quality and fun factor varies between the games. Uncharted 1 being the most generic, Uncharted 2 a most play and a classic of last gen and Uncharted 3 the most frustrating, but all of them are a must play.    … Expand

If you want Indiana Jones vibe Action/Adventure this game give you some of the most rollercoaster ride ever in video games.

    I am a Uncharted Veteran. Do not be mistaken its still amazing series. I just have higher standards of games compared to back then. Waves of enemies, no approach to stealth, never been a huge fan of the gunplay.

    I noticed the 60 FPS makes a huge different and the visuals see huge improvment.

    Uncharted 4 A Thiefs End will be a phenomenal. After making TLOU Im not worried at all they are going to surprise me and they have learned alot from making TLOU.

    I am so excited for the Beta anyway. But for newcomers this is an amazing start to know adventurer Nathan Drake before Uncharted 4 comes early next year. PS4 is getting a price drop with the collection or wait for it to price drop if you wanted.    … Expand

    This game was ok. Decent story. But I guess Im not a huge fan of linear games. Especially if those games require specific dexterity climbing/jumping/running tasks. Whats the point of that??? Wish it was more like Assassins Creed.

    When The Last of Us was remastered, having not played Uncharted as I didn't own a PS3, I was calling for an Uncharted collection. Now having played through the games, I can see why they were genre-defining at the time, but I do not think in this day and age they are particularly great games.

    First of all, the voice acting in the three games is the best voice acting I have heard from a video game. Hands down. Nathan Drake is hilarious, Chloe is flirtatious and a great companion, and Sully is the old, wise but cool mentor to Drake. The stories throughout the trilogy are interesting and memorable, and I was captured to see what happened next.

    However, I did feel like I was on a track with no exploration available. And in a game that is about exploring, this was disappointing. I didn't expect a huge open world, but just something other than a straight line that I had to walk down to shoot guys that they put in front of me. I had to play the game on the hardest difficulty because otherwise it felt like the game was playing itself.

    I do recommend this remaster to people who have not played the trilogy like myself, as I did have a lot of fun with it. But if you expect it to change the way you look at video games as a whole, then lower your expectations a tad.    … Expand

    es una buena opción para todas las personas que no pudieron jugar en su momento en la ps3 estos buenos juegos, pero no justifica el precio que se le da en algunas tiendas ademas de que ps4 ya parece un ps3 disfrazado ya que en lugar de preocuparse por sacar un buen juego solo nos lanza sus versiones "mejoradas" de los juegos antiguos.

    Played the first game, not too original child of Indiana Jones and Lara Croft, very scripted, playable movie, however it is still a good game. Altough, while I was feeling with Last of Us that the game is too short and I could continue playing with it a little longer, whit the first part of Nathan’s story I was like “it could end sooner”. Hopefully, I would change my opinion as I’mPlayed the first game, not too original child of Indiana Jones and Lara Croft, very scripted, playable movie, however it is still a good game.     If you want to get into Uncharted, this is where you start. Even though every of the three installments is very linear and repetitive, the story and characters are very well written and offer you an amazing experience.

    No califico mas que eso, ya que su historia es asombrosa, su banda sonora y jugabilidad destacan mucho.
    El juego lo obtuve por $40 pero ahora lo encuentras por menos de $10 y si no has disfrutado de estos titulos lo vale, incluso si jugaste a la version de PS2, uncharted 1, VALE LA PENA COMPRARLO DE NUEVO UNICAMENTE POR UNCHARTED 1 y disfrutarlo a 1080p.

    As for the parts of the game, then definitely, the third part liked the most, perhaps due to the fact that there is the most decent graphics and only with it the game is perceived. The second part is also quite good. The first seems quite old, but certainly was breakthrough in its time.

    In General, the universe of the game: characters, dialogues, the story itself-worthy, but I can not call a masterpiece. Maybe it's because I played all three games in a row. Let's see how I like the 4th part.    … Expand

    I found all three games enjoyable but the shooting in Drakes fortune was bad but still an impressive game for 2007. And trying to do stealth just is not fun as soon as I try stealth everyone in the area knows and starts shooting me. Among thieves I found to have difficulty spikes not many but it has occurred a few and I found that the fighting is not enjoyable and is also quite sloppy.I found all three games enjoyable but the shooting in Drakes fortune was bad but still an impressive game for 2007. And trying to do stealth just is not fun as soon as I try stealth everyone in the area knows and starts shooting me. Among thieves I found to have difficulty spikes not many but it has occurred a few and I found that the fighting is not enjoyable and is also quite sloppy. The third one has had the same problems with the other two which I will explain now that the game is buggy and either be funny or be an annoyance I found me getting stuck and me in the third one only in both my 2 playthroughs of the game at least once i found Nathans speed goes crazy for about 2 seconds Also enemies come running at me while I'm trying to kill enemies what is with that all three games have that why you think that they would remove that. I think the Nathan Drake collection is enjoyable but really does need improvements mainly with just bugs.… Expand

    The mechanics are very repetitive and long boring. Besides they put you fighting every time and they are 3 games. When I got to 3 I started to get bored and I lowered the difficulty to pass quickly. The story of 1 is more or less, the second is better and the third I loved.

    I passed Uncharted 2 and 3 in 2020 before completing 4 parts. The games are not bad and sure at one time they were just great. It was a little disappointing that part 2 and 3 - the practical ones are identical in terms of plot and gameplay. I did not play part 1, realizing that I could not find anything interesting in it for myself.

    This was my first time playing Uncharted games. The first one was alright. I liked the second one the most although the last one was also pretty epic. There's not a lot of gameplay, it's just mostly shooting and climbing (hitting x repeatedly), but the games look great and the story is good.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I never played the Uncharted Series until well after they were released. Whilst they certainly didn't live up to hype that I heard about the series, they were still solid and enjoyable games.

    Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - I was really enjoying the game right up to the point when the zombie creatures appeared and remained for the rest of the game. It felt out of place and it completely took me out of the story, and went from a good game to an average game. If I wanted to play a zombie or horror game I'd be playing something else. I also found that no run button, and that the cover and evade action was the same button poor gameplay and beyond annoying.

    Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - I think this the best Uncharted game in the series. I can't believe the believe they haven't separated the cover and evade action/button. That and poor final boss fight are the gsmes weak point.

    Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - Really, still haven't fixed the combat so that there are separate dedicated buttons to cover and evade? Beyond frustrating in otherwise well develop gameplay experience.    … Expand

    I've first tried this games only on PS5. I know that this games are old, maybe at the time they released they were topnotch, but there are too much of repeatable gameplay. Story is OK.

    It's a pretty cool movie game, you feels like you are in a Indiana Jones' movie. But that's it, you gonna have a lot of fun sometimes, but you are goin to watch more than play, in each 10 minutes there is a cutscene, you can clock that if you want.

    If you played the originals, not worth it (except for the first one, which is more balanced, but the game wasn´t that good and it isn´t much better here). If you haven´t, it´s good fun, but nothing crazy.

    - Despite all the claims to the contrary, the characters and stories throughout all three games feel incredibly weak. Drake's Fortune literally doesn't have an interesting/nuanced character interaction until the last 2 minutes before the ending credits. A lot of the relationships are simply told to the player, having taken place between games, rather than organically evolving on screen for the player to experience.
    - Despite improving on each installment, the combat is a massive downfall of all three games, never succeeding at feeling like a strong or compelling third-person shooter, but taking up so much of the gameplay time that such a weak showing cannot go unacknowledged.    … Expand

    This is a good collection of games, however there is a problem (and hence the score of "6"). The second game contains a game breaking bug on a tutorial that stops all further progress. I can't believe that they could not see this. This is extremely lame because if they even played through the game once before releasing it they would have picked this up.     Судьба Дрейка - более-менее интересная история, нормальная постановка и боёвка. Игра не чувствуется 10 летней вообще. Плюс , что не длинная. Приятный осадок. 6/10

    I’m not sure I’ve ever understood the hype for these games.

    I played “Drake’s Fortune” a year after it came out and enjoyed it. It was one of the first games I played on my PS3 and at the time I didn’t ask a lot from games. It did more or less what it was supposed to do, entertain me. It wasn’t until three years ago that I got around to playing “Among Thieves.” Again, at the time I    I’m not sure I’ve ever understood the hype for these games.

    I played “Drake’s Fortune” a year after it came out and enjoyed it. It was one of the first games I played on my PS3 and at the time I didn’t ask a lot from games. It did more or less what it was supposed to do, entertain me.

    It wasn’t until three years ago that I got around to playing “Among Thieves.” Again, at the time I didn’t have a problem with the gameplay (some of the set pieces were pretty cool), but the “designed” feel that all of the areas had was a distraction. The big problem I had with it, though, was the story. The acting was good and the dialogue was mostly decent with a few highlights, but the plot was ludicrous and predictable.

    It was also around this time that I was become weary of the “smarmy but charming **** shtick that has steadily become the go-to personality for leading characters in video game and most popular fiction. Drake is just another in a long line of that type of character, and it’s a trope that I don’t enjoy. It was after playing the second game that I lost interest in the franchise.

    With the release of “The Nathan Drake Collection,” I finally drudged up enough interest to finally play “Drake’s Deception” and luckily a local Redbox had a copy. The first thing I noticed about the game was how poor the graphics were. Even with it being a game originally from 2011, it looked very poor. Textures weren’t very detailed, the color palette was questionable (especially in the first few chapters) and overall the world felt lifeless, like a cheaply made animated film. There were not an abundance of filters or particles, leaving the environments looking empty and barren.

    Just like the other games in the series, the story is cartoonish and ill-conceived (the young Nate sequence in particular), but more than ever it’s clear that the set pieces were designed first, with the narrative crafted to fit around them (like a Michael Bay movie). That leads to a very confused plot, with characters popping in and out of the story with very little rhyme or reason. It also doesn’t help that there is almost no attempt to flesh out the villains and what their goals are.

    The gameplay is yet another element that feels like an afterthought. The combat is tedious, with a difficulty spike in later chapters that is beyond irritating. Climbing still has some bugs, puzzle solving is very simple (almost spoon-fed) and the escape sequences lack any sense of drama or tension.

    So after all of that, I suppose one could get the sense that I’m not a fan of this franchise. Because I’m not. I honestly do not understand why this series is so acclaimed or beloved (but then, I could say the same thing about Indiana Jones). Bad writing, boring gameplay and average graphics add up to a subpar experience in my book. The only reason why I’m not rating this collection even lower is because I enjoyed the music, some of the dialogue got a laugh or two out of me and some of the set pieces were fun, even if they are completely absurd.    … Expand

Не понимаю чем они так хороши - стрельба не сильная сторона игры явно, сюжетно довольно средне, интересные головоломки отсутствуют. Добавить сюда кучу багов анимации и игра периодически начинает вызывать раздражение.     In general, they're extremely repetitive - kept expecting a change of pace in Drake's Fortune that never came about, only to realise the whole trilogy would follow the thread.

    Story is mere excuse for the underwhelmingly basic gameplay: cover - shoot - cover - climb - repeat (and some scripted sequences here and there). As plain background, the plot is anything you would watch in a generic treasure-hunt movie from the 00's. Saving graces would be the nicely acted cutscenes and some of the dialogue, but even that with characters which in my opinion are annoying and unlikable (yes, talking about a PlayStation icon).

    Most people praise Among Thieves as the best of the bunch, but it's the one that almost made me give up on the whole thing. Inexcusably long (each twentieth-something chapter that started made me sigh "seriously??"). Actually enjoyed Drake's Deception more for added variety in set pieces and presentation, and also some more investment in the storytelling department.

    This is the kind of criticism I think these games deserve, in spite of the universal acclaim traditional to the franchise. Recommended only to check some boxes on the backlog - that is, if you haven't played them before and actually plan to.    … Expand

The animations are wildly exaggerated, such as shooting an enemy in the head only for him to lean over clenching his gut.     Uncharted 3 however, is the best out of the three. Gameplay feels more fun, although it looks really similar to the one on the last two games.
    I'd give Uncharted 1 a 6.1/10, Uncharted 2 a 6.4/10 and Uncharted 3 a 7/10

    The stories told in these games aren't bad but sometimes the plot twists are making you think "wtf?" The game is really more of an on-rails shooter than adventure game, and it does the combat very poorly. There is no auto-aim option, the camera is wonky, and mobs spawn from all directions (including previously cleared rooms) like a 1990s FPS. It's just bad. Adding to the frustration, you have to spend most of your time collecting ammo like in a survival game. It requires scouting around every corpse for a flashing thing on the ground and then pressing a button to loot. It's very easy to accidentally swap weapons instead of looting ammo. It's obnoxious and feels like a throwback to an ancient era best forgotten. I can't say whether the games improve as one moves through the collection because I am not enjoying myself enough to push through the entire series of games. Very disappointing, at least from the perspective of someone just checking in for the first time in 2019.… Expand

    Nice collection if you haven't played it yet but you should wait until it's on sale. I would still suggest the last two Tomb Raider games over these games.

His friends and fellow adventurers find a series of clues that are key to unlocking a historical mystery from Marco Polo. The dialogue is excellent, the voice acting is top-notch, and the plot engrosses you immediately, then drops you dead in the waters of on-rails climbing sequences, and mediocre shooting mechanics.

    What hurts the gameplay so, so badly is there is 0 progression. There's no RPG elements of growing stronger, no perks to customize play style, no A.I. teammates to command, no loadouts, usable items, vehicles, abilities, minimal secrets, no side missions, NOTHING.

    There's nothing but climbing a wall, poking around for the developer-intended place for you to push the jump button, repeat this for about 30 min, then have a by-the-numbers shootout. You grind this out to get another piece of the story like a trained dog performing tricks.

    It pans out to be another one of those "playable movies" where you can get everything you want from it in a youtube playthrough.

    I'm most upset at Dunkey. He's the one that tuned me into UC2. He was shredding Assassin's Creed, and comparing it to THIS! I think he was bought for this one. Still love you, Dunk.

    This is a nice interactive movie, but I wouldn't even consider it a game. The actual gameplay is fairly bland. Still it has a great story. If you like watching your games, this is the game for you. If you like playing your games, then you can pass.

    Can't really bash on the platforming sections. Horizon Zero Dawn kind of uses the same climbing mechanics in this gen of gaming. Oh wait I thought that part of the HZD game was poorly done, oh damn it.

    The story telling sort of works. The combat so does'nt work and platforming kind of works mostly. Age has nothing to do with the failures of these PS3 games remastered for the PS4. I have played old PC ports of games from the PS2 and first Xbox era a complete generation before the PS3 and they have still wowed me on Steam in today’s day.    … Expand

    Well, it's very pretty, but it's oh so dull. Too many times I felt like I was pressing a button so I could watch the next few seconds of a movie. The inability to pan the camera where I needed it was beyond frustrating. The fight sequences were boring, the climbing sequences were boring. And I didn't like that old guy.

Because nothing about these games is stand-out, they don’t set the bar for anything. Everything they copy was done better in its original game or movie.

    In fact, The Uncharted series is probably hurt the most from the fact that it never has its own identity. Every game stole from other games (Tomb Raider. Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell, etc) and movies (Indiana Jones, The Mummy, etc) and thus never managed to pull off any of their aspects better than the original source material. It’s so much fun to climb buildings and other things in AC because you get to choose where to go. Here, there’s one set path and if you don’t take it, you fail.

    I don’t understand how people say they stick around for the characters. What characters?? No one in this series ever grows, ever changes. Nate makes the exact same mistakes every single time. I should have started a tally of how many times the bad guy got the drop on him and ordered him to ‘drop your weapon’. Elena is straight up unlikeable without any substance to her character. She could have had in the first game, but then they started tweaking her job with each subsequent game and the outlandish ways she kept popping up in the adventure. And don’t get me started on her and Nate’s ‘romance’, oh yes there was so much love between two people who didn’t even know each other. Sully is barely in the games and his character completely changed from the first game. I can’t understand why people say he’s the best character in the series: an old, cigar-toting, money-spending, womanizer who wants to get rich?

    I don’t understand Nate at all. It never says anything about him possibly being an archaeologist and it certainly never mentions how he gets the money to fund his little expeditions (especially since he never succeeds to get any treasure). But hey he’s the best at finding these places and somehow is the best climber, jumper ever known to man. There’s only so long I can suspend my disbelief.

    Each story is the same. Nate learns of possible lost city with a fortune of treasure. Nate must go to several cities and solve many puzzles while bad guys easily follow behind him/beat him there. Suddenly fortune is bad, will end the world, oh no Nate must now be a hero and save the world. City is destroyed, no treasure, but oh we all had fun didn’t we?

    The combat is some of the worst. Each game puts in a stealth option but it was never made to work. Not to mention the enemy will start shooting at you if they see your AI buddies that you have no control over. The first game never tries for stealth, two begins the ‘stealth’, and three gives you idiotic AI to try and make stealth, otherwise you’d never be able to take people down quietly.

    And people worship the ground at Naughty Dog’s feet? Have they never played an actual GOOD game?? I can in no way recommend these games. A great story and fun gameplay is what keeps people coming back, what gives it replayability. This series has none of that.

The story is nothing special (at least comparing to other titles such as The Last of Us), there is way too much fighting compared to exploring or storytelling, but the biggest problem for me was that on Normal Difficulty the game seemedSo far I have only finished the 1st game of the series.     I don't think I am that bad, and I'll just give you an example on why I think the game is way too hard: in one of the final fighting scenes, hiding behind a crate resulted countless times in me beying one shoted (while staying behind such crate) cause the crate gets shatered on boom, instant death. That is not damn Normal Diffculty!
    I think I'll play the other games in the series for the story, but I hope they aren't so damn unfair. Even if they are great, I can't give the collection more than 5/10 because of the horrible experience I had with the 1st title.    … Expand

    Over rated repetitive games with plain characters and horrible cliche plot that try hard to emule the epic scenes movies like Indian Jones had. The gameplay is very outdated and don't hold a candle. I would be lying if I say I was enjoying 100% this titles.

    - okayish story (it isn't necessary bad but it isn't good either)
    - can be quite challenging even on normal
    - quite good PS VITA remote play

    General negatives:
    - poor controls
    - brainless shootings
    - Nate vs 1000 people
    - mostly copy-paste. same stuff over and over again
    - i didn't like the supernatural aspect at all, i didn't feel it belongs to the seriess. treasure hunting is cool and stuff, but the weird creatures and curses are not.

    UNCHARTED: Drake's Fortune - 3/10

    I played this mostly on my PS Vita in bed which was a good experience. You can set the controls to L1 and R1, so it's okay. The game is so dark there were moments I couldn't see anything, I had to turn off HDR on both the TV and PS4 and it still sucked. Controls are awful. Many times I fell off cliffs and buildings because it refused to do what I wanted to do. It was really annoying, I barely enjoyed the game all in all.

    UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves 5/10

    I know this is a fan favorite but for me it seemed like a copy-paste. A bit improved controls but not great, but it was still dark in HDR. I hated the train scenes and the fact i had to climb it twice. I wanted to give this 4 out of 10 but I gave an extra point for Chloe.

    UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception 6/10

    I liked this episode the most, and by 'like' I actually mean I kinda liked it. I liked the flashback, I liked that we could swim, ride a horse, and controls and graphics were much better overall. And the coolest thing is when Nate is fistfighting and grabs a dead fish and slaps the mofos in the face. Nate has X legs and runs like an idiot, though.

    Uncharted 2 and 3 are improvements, but all of those games are linear and feature the same "find the path" core gameplay. The escalation gameplay is not as fluid as in Assassins Creed's game or like Shadows of Mordor. Its impossible to not get frustrated with stealth mechanism, If you played MGSV or any AC's game. Gunplay is improved but not enough to hide the age of those games. Hard fights is just bad. Uncharted 3 feature parhaps the most boring oppening act of any AAA game released in past 10 years.

    Story is not particulary special. Nathan is the typical guy who is not looking for trouble, but the trouble always find him, and he keeps making Joker while his life is in danger. While many people believe Uncharted and Nathan were inspires by Indiana Jones movies and Harrison Ford, the whole thing end up sounding more like The Mummy and Brendan Fraser.    … Expand

Yeah, they do look good, but they are stripped down versions with no multiplayer.     I had never played the Uncharted games on PS3 so this was a brand new experience for me. As far as gameplay, there were definitely some fun times to be had jumping around the environments, leaping distances no human should ever be able to clear. Cool climbing/leaping aside, the puzzles became tedious and the firefights were pretty standard cover fire. The graphics, though remastered,I had never played the Uncharted games on PS3 so this was a brand new experience for me.     The upgrades to the games are good and welcomed as they now run at 1080p 60fps but I found the gameplay generic and stories of each game cliche ridden sorry but I don't understand the hype behind these games.

    In uncharted 1, game play is very repetitively towards the end of the story, with core gameplay being exactly the same (shoot, run to cover to heal, shoot again), and the enemy is everywhere (Nathan just sneak into somewhere during the story cutscenes, the somehow the enemy knows he is there just to extend the gameplay). The story has poor pacing, too much shooting when I just want to progress the story.

    Uncharted 2 has much better story progression pacing, combine with some of the cool levels (such as the train), I would say this is the best uncharted game.

    Uncharted 3 has very annoying difficulties spikes, and large repetitive gameplay with little to no story progression for the sake of extending the game time (such as the ship level). Game mechanics such as the enemy with a shield is very annoying with the only real solution being grenades. And you get 2 pumped by a shot gun even on easy difficult settings. enemy often walk up behind me with no audio, and this game has no settings to change look sensitivity. So you just take a long time to turn around just to get 2 pumped by an AI with a shotgun on easy setting (you can get 2 pumped on all 3 uncharted game).

    I have play many shooter game, thousands of hours in multiple FPS game, yet this is one of the most annoying experience I ever had in terms of gameplay.    … Expand

    Just started Uncharted 1 on EASY only to discover never-ending hordes of enemies that you can't even distinguish from the terrain with perfect aim (they hit you as soon as you dare to stick so much as a toenail out of cover)) that can each take multiple shots to the head.     Gameplay-wise, the decision of locking the sensitivity was too much for me. One of the worst ideas someone can have in a shooter game. Especially when it's hard like uncharted - in higher difficulties.

    They could enhance the AI and make the encounters less linear. The difficulty just seems purely artificial and the overall gameplay can be described as "outdated". This is why Halo CE gameplay is amazing after 20 years and Uncharted 1, 2, and 3 are not (at least for shooter enjoyers). If you want a movie, sure, it will be playable. And in that matter, any movie with this script would be mediocre.

    Graphic-wise, it could be better. I mean... a lot. It's improved, alright, but seems effortless since playing an old game on a modern PC with (or without) mods will look way better than an official remaster.

    Since this collection fails in simple concepts a remaster should do pretty well, like... make things actually better if needed, this deserves an L.    … Expand

    This is truly the most overrated collection of games. If you're considering getting a PS4 just for this as some would suggest, do not do it. You can play Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox One right now and it is a MUCH better game than any of these. Save yourself the cash.

    I played first game, but could not finished because there will come a part where player dies constantly in 2 seconds and that is not possible to get passed because aiming is too slow and ally go where you need to shoot. After a couple of hundred attempts, i gave up and hoped that i would never played this. Only way to recommend this is trolling.     A complete and utter cash grab. The multiplayer is not in tact, other than resolution there is no graphical overhaul. All that for $60? Right. This should take notes from Halo MCC, they overhauled the graphics and included all the multiplayer components.
