I cannot believe how some people are rating this low. This is 3 games in 1 with upped resolutions and 60 FPS. This is meant for people who did not play the games on a PS3. People complaining that this is a cash grab are silly. This isn't a bad port with bugs or with 30 FPS, it's a pretty good port with all 3 games in 1. Now you can probably get it on sale for cheaper.

Now for the games themselves, I have completed the first two and love them. I got this collection back when it was released but didn't actually start playing it until a few days ago. I may put off the 3rd game until Uncharted 4 is closer but I may just end up beating Uncharted 3. The uncharted series are a love it or not series. It's a great series with fun gameplay, nice graphics, interesting story, interesting characters, and puzzles. Even if this isn't your type of game, then you shouldn't give it a bad score. That's like someone who dislikes science fiction movies giving the new star wars movie a 4/10.

I never played much of the Uncharted series beforehand but this collection has taken me completely by surprise. There are many outdated elements and frustrating sections but all three games have been updated so beautifully and with great attention to detail. Not particularly challenging but very moreish.

What to say ? We have 3 games which each of them deserve to be in Hall of fame best games in history, all in one place better than ever and remastered for better GFX... Even better is that multiplayer is thrown out so games are sweet for people who doesn't play online to run for platinum! We could not get better intro into Uncharted 4 ...

Like with most game remasterings, this is a must for anyone who hasn't played the original versions, and still provides good reasons to play these 3 great games again. It seems the people who gave this collection negatives either a) didn't like the games to begin with, b) are butthurt that there's no multiplayer for Uncharted 2&3, or c) think collections like this are just lazy cash grabs. So let me try to explain why this collection is worth buying:

Thankfully, Bluepoint Games (who are one of the best for this sort of thing) has handled this remaster very well. Despite everyone saying the graphics look dated when compared to the best offered today, I think all the games still look quite nice. The games look crisp and clear at 1080p and the various other visual improvements make the games look a lot less dated. Even the screen tearing is gone.

The games also run at 60fps (even during cutscenes) and for the most part are smooth with only a rare hiccup in framerate every now and then. The option to turn off or adjust motion blur is also a welcome addition. The controls (especially the aiming) are smoother and using the PS4 controller is definitely an improvement over the PS3 controller.

Additional gameplay modes include a speed run mode and 2 extra difficulty settings (one very easy and one very hard). Like with GoW3 remastered, a photo mode is included and with the PS4's SHARE feature, people who love taking screenshots should love playing through these games.

Now for one of the biggest complaints people have; the lack of multiplayer. Personally, I've never played Uncharted's multiplayer but I have heard very good things about it and while that is disappointing that it isn't included, it might have been for the best. I've read that remastering is a lot harder than it seems so if Bluepoint was able to focus more on getting the single player campaigns looking, running, and playing as well as they do, I think it was worth it. With collections, you really don't want them to spread themselves out too thin, right? Quality over quantity, people. Also, when Uncharted 4 comes around, that will probably have the same multiplayer anyway that's just as good or even better.

So at the risk of sounding even more like I'm some PR guy from Sony or Bluepoint, let me just say that this is one of the better remastered collections we've gotten and I'm glad I have a good excuse to play the Uncharted games again. This one of my favourite series of all time and anyone who has never played these games before should definitely check them out now. I could also go on about why I, unlike so many other people on Metacritic, actually support re-releasing games but I think I've already written too much so again, don't listen to the haters on here, this is a good collection.

I've owned a PS3 since 2012, but criminally, I never owned an Uncharted game. Then, around a month ago, I picked up a PS4 that came bundled with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. I have now completed all 3 games, and they just might have been some of the the finest pieces of media I've ever laid eyes on.

The games are all amazing - the story, the graphics, the shooting, the characters... I was trying to think of complaints for this review, and honestly, I don't think I have any. I haven't had this much fun with a game in years, and I play a lot of games. If they were selling one of these games at this price I'd absolutely recommend it, but you get three, plus the beta to the multiplayer for Uncharted 4! (I haven't played the beta yet, as I don't have PS Plus, but still, free stuff.) I've read a lot of reviews on this site in my time, and I know some people hand out a lot of 10/10s to games they enjoyed. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm a bit harsher when it comes to reviewing. As of now, I've never given anything a 10/10, but this collection deserves that prestigious score. I don't think I could be any happier with this, and I'd recommend it to anybody ever.

I understand the "cheesiness" may have been intentional to appeal to a wider audience but I absolutely wasn't expecting to feel so disconnected from basically all of the characters, including Drake. I would maybe buy this compilation for $10 if I had to do it all over again, definitely not worth the $50 I paid for it. Expand

The world has so much detail and the graphics are sweet.
I've always been one for collectibles and this game delivers that in a way that you want to collect them and dont lose interest.
In terms of longevity, they are the perfect length. The chapters don't drag out and keep you engaged all the way through. I'm up to Uncharted 2 out of the trilogy and I can see what they mean by it being the pinnacle and I cant wait to play 3 after all the positive reviews.

Do yourselves a favor and pick this up. I cant speak on behalf of people who played the originals extensively, but if you want to see what all the hype was about. Get it. 3 games for the cost of 1 with flawless remastering is a must.

As for the games themselves, the gunplay is satisfying and the stories in each individual title will have you hooked and wanting to see what happens next. The only minor points that stop this being a 10 is that the puzzles can be quite punishing on beginners, as I found my self occasionally waiting for a hints to pop up to help me and the are a few difficulty spikes out of no-where that can really frustrate you.

Uncharted is one of my FAVORITE first party franchises on the playstation. They offer crazy, over the top action, amazing setpiece battles, and intriguing, fun stories with characters that make it feel all the more alive. I'm glad to say nothing has changed here, all the games are still wild rides from start to finish. (I will be addressing all the games in general, they are all fairly similar.

The uncharted trilogy follows treasure hunter Nathan Drake, his best friend/ father figure Victor Sullivan, and his girlfriend Elena, as they chase down different treasures from the clutches of a variety of different villains who somehow have endless armies of identical goons. There's definitely an Indiana Jones like aspect here, and i believe these games will appeal to fans of that series. throughout the game, you shoot enemies, mow down vehicles, jump, climb, and solve puzzles.

The combat is what takes up 99% of the games' play time, broken up by puzzles, vehicle sections, being rewarded with cutscenes furthering the plot. And the games are maybe a bit short on plot. The first one focuses on Drake and Co. hunting the gold of El Dorado. The second one focuses on Drake and Co. hunting for the city of Shambala. The third one is about Drake and Co. hunting some ring or something. Yeah,, the overall plots are similar, but the locales, setpieces, and characters are all vastly different in every game. The first one takes place in mostly jungles and ruins. The second one takes place in mostly temples and modern cities. The third one actually has quite the variety with it's locales. I do like this quite a bit.

The gameplay is tried and true third person shooting. You get a two weapon limit in your inventory. You pick up ammo, grenades, and swap out other weapons by looting bodies and finding them leaning against walls. This is almost always fun. But I have to say, all the games sorta drag and up the difficulty EXTREMELY in the 3rd quarter of the game, rejuvenating in the final few battles. This problem is especially apparent in 2, which i THINK is the longest one.

There are also puzzles. The puzzles are very challenging and make you think. These parts are quite a departure from the shooting, and it's much appreciated. It offers a nice change of pace for a few minutes. I really do like the puzzles. Then there's the turret and vehicle sections. Turret sections usually involve you on a truck, shooting other vehicles with a turret or missiles. These parts up the ante and you still feel excitement.

Remaster-wise, Uncharted 2/3 look great. The plane crash part in 3 is especially outstanding. Uncharted 1 however, doesn't really hold up that well. The Uncharted collection is a great way for people who have not experienced these great games to get all 3 at a great low price, just in time for Uncharted 4 next year. I do recommend it, and it earns my seal of approval.

I honestly lost count of how many times I've played this series and that did not stop me from having a lot of fun with the remastered ones. Also, the collection does not include Multiplayer (but who cares?). Some thoughts on each of the games:

    1) Drake's Fortune: I was not too impressed by the remaster; though the game continues to be incredibly fun. The game was a launch title for the PS3, so it still has a late-PS2, early-PS3 feel to it, which makes it hard to fully revamp it. I would even say that I prefer the original PS3 version. But the game is awesome and I could not put it down.

    2) Among thieves: the high gem of the series. The remaster here is incredible and the game looks more beautiful than ever. So, so much fun. This is by far one of the best adventure games I have ever played, and the PS4 version is amazing.

    3) Drake's deception: I still think U3 does not come even close to the greatness of U2, but it does have some jaw dropping moments - the plane scene in particular is so cool. Also the part with the horses is very cool. The game is fun, it's just not as fun and polished like U2 (don't even get me started on the thug-clones). Being a late-PS3 game, it's easy to see how the remaster got even more beautiful than the original release.

They could've included the VITA version; but I get Naughty Dog's opinion on this. Anyway, this collection deserves to be played.

I can't really make a review of this game since every game is different, although the same. But i'll try my best.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune: First game in the series, I really like it but I have lots of problems with it. Don't get me wrong it's a good game but feels... different than the others. If I could give this a separate review, I would give it a 6/10. It's not a bad game but also not a bad one.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves: By far my favorite, I don't even know how many times I replayed the whole campaign. The game is perfect, whether it's the story, gameplay or even multiplayer, but i'll get into that later. The story is REALLY good and feels like a action movie. Can't really make a good short of the story, so i'll quote Nickeltoe from IMDB. "After being tracked down by Harry Flynn, Nathan Drake goes on a quest for Marco Polo' lost fleet. However when things take an unexpected turn for the worst, Drake must rely on those closest to him in order to find the Cintomani Stone". The gameplay is the best part of this game, most things are scripted, but even if they are, they are just perfect. The action is the main part here, from jumping on a going train and killing hundreds of enemies, to falling building that you have to escape from, it's just great. Shooting mechanics are pretty simple nothing much to say. Now let's talk a little about multiplayer. For some reason, it's not in the Collection, which is a bad thing in my opinion. I spent tons of hours in the multiplayer because of how good it was. Sure it had lots of DLC and was sometimes annoying, but I loved it and wanted to play more. But unfortunatly they didn't add this to the game and it lowers my overall review by 1 point. Game on PS3: 9/10 | PS4 Collection: 8/10 for lack of multiplayer.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception: I love this one. It's great in any way. Story, Gameplay and everything else is just perfect. Won't really talk about it long since it's basiclly upgraded Uncharted 2, but i'ts a great game and I recommend it to everyone. 9/10.

Overall review of the collection itself is 8. I didn't like how they deleted multiplayer, and changed nothing but the textures. Although it was a nice feeling coming back to this series after 4 years.

I played “Drake’s Fortune” a year after it came out and enjoyed it. It was one of the first games I played on my PS3 and at the time I didn’t ask a lot from games. It did more or less what it was supposed to do, entertain me.

It wasn’t until three years ago that I got around to playing “Among Thieves.” Again, at the time I didn’t have a problem with the gameplay (some of the set pieces were pretty cool), but the “designed” feel that all of the areas had was a distraction. The big problem I had with it, though, was the story. The acting was good and the dialogue was mostly decent with a few highlights, but the plot was ludicrous and predictable.

It was also around this time that I was become weary of the “smarmy but charming **** shtick that has steadily become the go-to personality for leading characters in video game and most popular fiction. Drake is just another in a long line of that type of character, and it’s a trope that I don’t enjoy. It was after playing the second game that I lost interest in the franchise.

With the release of “The Nathan Drake Collection,” I finally drudged up enough interest to finally play “Drake’s Deception” and luckily a local Redbox had a copy. The first thing I noticed about the game was how poor the graphics were. Even with it being a game originally from 2011, it looked very poor. Textures weren’t very detailed, the color palette was questionable (especially in the first few chapters) and overall the world felt lifeless, like a cheaply made animated film. There were not an abundance of filters or particles, leaving the environments looking empty and barren.

Just like the other games in the series, the story is cartoonish and ill-conceived (the young Nate sequence in particular), but more than ever it’s clear that the set pieces were designed first, with the narrative crafted to fit around them (like a Michael Bay movie). That leads to a very confused plot, with characters popping in and out of the story with very little rhyme or reason. It also doesn’t help that there is almost no attempt to flesh out the villains and what their goals are.

The gameplay is yet another element that feels like an afterthought. The combat is tedious, with a difficulty spike in later chapters that is beyond irritating. Climbing still has some bugs, puzzle solving is very simple (almost spoon-fed) and the escape sequences lack any sense of drama or tension.

So after all of that, I suppose one could get the sense that I’m not a fan of this franchise. Because I’m not. I honestly do not understand why this series is so acclaimed or beloved (but then, I could say the same thing about Indiana Jones). Bad writing, boring gameplay and average graphics add up to a subpar experience in my book. The only reason why I’m not rating this collection even lower is because I enjoyed the music, some of the dialogue got a laugh or two out of me and some of the set pieces were fun, even if they are completely absurd.

    Pros-
~The game includes three of the Original Trilogy.
~All three were remastered in it's glorified form.
~Gameplay is more responsive and fluid.
~It's Uncharted. Either you will really love it or you'll just like it.

    Cons-
~No multiplayer which I don't really understand but I'm not too bummed out since the games were mostly for its Campaign. Doesn't exclude the fact that the collection feels a bit of a cash grab.
~Pricing is a bit high as I believe it should be at least $50 or $40. You'd make more if you by selling more for a reasonable price
~Uncharted Drakes Fortune does look good but its nostalgia good as it doesn't look that up to date but it still has that " My goodness! Imagine if I was back around 2007 when this game came out. It looks really damn good! " charm to it if you know what I mean.

I got it because I love Uncharted and my god Uncharted 3 is now so playable in its 60 fps that it's so good. I swear to most people that they will love this game.

A complete and utter cash grab. The multiplayer is not in tact, other than resolution there is no graphical overhaul. All that for $60? Right. This should take notes from Halo MCC, they overhauled the graphics and included all the multiplayer components.

Having played only Uncharted 3 last generation, I must say this is a welcome addition to the PS4 lineup. I thoroughly enjoyed UC3 and really wanted to play the other two games but unfortunately I had to sell my PS3 to get a PS4. Now after playing Uncharted 2 for a while, it is clear to me why it was GOTY. One of the best gaming franchises out there. Must buy for those who have yet to try it.

I would rate this a higher value if they could include the Uncharted MP that I love. Still the SinglePlayer alone is still amazing to playthrough.

Uncharted 2 rivals most games back in the ps3 era which show the talent of Naughty Dog. For people who are new to this franchise. If you want Indiana Jones vibe Action/Adventure this game give you some of the most rollercoaster ride ever in video games.

I am a Uncharted Veteran. Do not be mistaken its still amazing series. I just have higher standards of games compared to back then. Waves of enemies, no approach to stealth, never been a huge fan of the gunplay.

I noticed the 60 FPS makes a huge different and the visuals see huge improvment.

Uncharted 4 A Thiefs End will be a phenomenal. After making TLOU Im not worried at all they are going to surprise me and they have learned alot from making TLOU.

I am so excited for the Beta anyway. But for newcomers this is an amazing start to know adventurer Nathan Drake before Uncharted 4 comes early next year. PS4 is getting a price drop with the collection or wait for it to price drop if you wanted.

The amount of work Bluepoint has done is unbelievable, all three games look stunning even by today's standards, especially UC3 which rivals most games released this year, while maintaining 60fps most of the time which is very impressive. The entire series has some of the most gorgeous locations I've ever experienced in gaming, you go from one beautiful area to the next, and best of all you get to parkour all over it!

The bread and butter of the series is third person shooting, puzzles and epic set pieces and my God are the set pieces epic, a few in particular left me speechless as I honestly couldn't believe how good they were, you just don't get anything like this from any other game (bar Tomb Raider which to be fair has it's own share of amazing set pieces, but at a much less stable frame rate and not quite at the level of the best the Uncharted series has to offer). As someone with a fear of heights some of the areas left me sweating bullets, the way the camera pans out at times makes everything feel so grandiose.

There are issues though, the combat feels a bit wonky at times with bullets not registering properly, especially headshots when the enemy is behind cover and the melee combat feels very underwhelming compared to newer titles like Mad Max which totally nailed it. My biggest gripe was the difficulty though, I always tend to play my games on normal so I get just enough challenge to keep it interesting without so much so that it gets frustrating but all three games fall a little short on this, they start off too easy and end up too hard in parts, unless you're an Uncharted vet you will die, often. I would have liked to see the game start a little harder but end a little easier, I would have enjoyed the series more had a few areas been toned a little.

Overall all three games are very good and well worth the purchase, especially if you've never played them on PS4. This collection for me is a high 8, it could have easily pushed itself to a 9 which is what I gave The Last of Us which to me was near perfection and also made by Naughty Dog.

Uncharted aren't perfect games, there shooting mechanic leaves a lot to be desired, the cover system needs some work before 4 comes out. What they do and do well though is tell stories and Drake is an excellent character, Sully a great side kick and unusually for me I actually buy into them and carew about them. Naughty Dog has a special ability to make the pacing of their games work, to make their characters interesting and this is no different.

Graphically Uncharted is a massive step up, you will see less and less improvement in 2 and 3 but there are still excellent improvements, seems to be some tweaks in controls as well. One thing I am less happy with is Normal at least seems to be a lot easer than previously.

The worst thing about this game is other than Batman Arkham Knight, the Uncharted Collection and Gears of War Ultimate Edition are the best games on this generation.

It looks even better with Bluepoint's improved visuals, and the mechanics are still fluid and fun. If you're a gamer and have never experienced the Uncharted series, it's a must play. And if you enjoyed them previously, take another run through a series that mixes story, character, and game play better than any other franchise. Expand

Okay, i never played this game on PS4 (I'm going to buy this, because i loved The Last of Us and Uncharted 3)
Uncharted 3 and The Last of Us -games was like 10/10.. so how to hell this Collection is User Score: 6.6?
I believe this is another false user score like Batman: Arkham Knight... I before believed user score, but nowadays i think critics are more reliable....

Lazy cash in from last gen games. Completely mediocre of third person cover shooter, scripted and linear to the point of extreme boredom. A complete rip off of every B grade adventure movie ever made.

3 amazing Uncharted games at 1080p/60fps with graphics and gameplay improvements for the price of 1. Admit it, 360 switchers got the better deal out this.

I know this collection may not okay with fan because of missing multiplayer but for those whom just only need single campaign. This collection is a must have.
Don't hear other user that lower the score below 5 or even 7. Trust me. If you are new gamer on PS4 like me, you will have a very great treat.

Had to give this game a 10 to balance out all of the trolls giving it a poor rating for no reason.

Probably deserves a 9 in all honesty, and that is just because I think it should've been $40 instead of $60. However, the Uncharted games are some of the best, and this is easily worth the purchase. If you haven't played them before on PS3, (hell, even if you have), you must pick this up

I've only ever finished the first Uncharted on the PS3. Since my PS4 has been collecting dust since finishing The Last of Us Remastered I figure this is a good time to revisit and play the entire Uncharted series in it's visual glory. So far so good, I forgot how much fun the game and its environment is. Not as good as Tomb Raider or TLoU but it will do.

Without doubt, U:TNDC the best remastered game on ps4 to date.
If you haven't experienced until now, (WTF?!?!?!?) now it's your best chance to play not one, but 3 of the best games ever made. U:TNDC SHOULD be on every PS4 owner's game collection.

3 Great games looking better than ever, especially Uncharted 1, my only complaint is there's no form of MP, that's it. other than that, this is the best remaster since GTA V.

It's brilliant that Bluepoint remastered these Naughty Dog gems and re-released them all together for the price of one game! I've never had a chance to play these until now. I finished The Last of Us Remastered which is also by Naughty Dog and it was an absolute sensation. I'm currently 70% through the Drake's Fortune and I'm loving it. Plus I've heard the second game is even better! I'mIt's brilliant that Bluepoint remastered these Naughty Dog gems and re-released them all together for the price of one game! Feeling jealous listening my PS3 friends talking wonderful things about Uncharted, finally i had the chance to play it, and yes, it is true, it is one of the best games ever played. Good story with a lot of action, you can't stop playing, you won't find a boring moment letting you to quit. They made a great job with the remasterization.
    I totally recommend.

Uncharted: TNDC is one for the ages. Yes, the gameplay and visual wow-factor have faded in a few spots, but the inimitable charm of Nate and co., plus some of the best story-telling in gaming, make this a must-have. [Christmas 2015, p71]
