    This game is a great example of bad story telling at it's finest, just because you watch a few episodes of the walking dead doesn't mean you can write the perfect story. While playing the game I noticed how very useless some mechanics are in the game and how brain dead stupid some characters behave in the story.     The Graphics are flawless and the sound design is amazing, it's too bad its meshed in with the story holding it all back.

    If you want a better game to play with a better story I would recommend Nioh 2, Ghost of Tsushima and Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Don't waste your time and money like I did.    … Expand

    10/10; Они очень душевные и иногда пробивает, и очень вписываются в общий геймплей.
    Например: какой-то грустная каст цена очень трогательный саундтрек.

    3.Сюжет

    10/10; он очень длинный и интересный сюжет который описывает персонажей сначала с одной стороны а потом с другой стороны, вот например Эбби, её все возненавидели потому что она убила Джоела, но она его убила изо того что он убил отца Эбби спасая Элли от смерти в больнице. Весь сюжет крутится во круг мести за кого то, Эбби отомстила за своего отца убив Джоела, а Элли хотела отомстить Эбби за убийство Джоела. Всю игру нам показывали как персонажи игры пытались друг другу отомстить за ковото, и Нилл Дракмен показывает то что если ты над чем-то зацикливается над чем-то то нужно останавливаться потому что это может прести к проблемам например со здоровьем, в игре это месть Элли всю игру шла к Эбби этобы этомстить ей за смерть Джоела и в этоге когда Элли шла вместе с Диной, Элли по дороге убила всех друзей Эбби, и всё это эз за месте к Эбби, и в этоге Элли оставила Эбби в живых потому что у Эбби остался только Лев.

    4.Персонажи

    10/10; Персонажи очень вырожено показыны в игре, Элли покоза взрослой вечно недовольной женщищиной; Джоел который стал более мудрым и спокойным папой для Элли; Дина которая хочет хорошей жизни и счастливой семьи; Джеси который вечно крутится вокруг других чтобы кому-то помочь; Томми который крутится постоянно с женой налаживая порядок в семье, ну и токдалие.

    5.Вывод

    Can't say its better than the first installment. Because it makes the first even better. It completes the story making both games merge into one. A great but heavy experience analysing the worst and best aspects of human nature. A must play for all fans of story driven games. For a real survival experience I would suggest the hardest difficulty options. The lower ones are way too generous.

I haven't played something so great for a long time like this , everything is so perfectly played. I'm so glad I could play this game. Don't believe the angry people who hate this episode for stupid reasons you will love this game from the beginning to end...

    Last of Us Part 2 is worst AAA video game of last 10 years. I rather play Marvel's Avengers than Last of Us Part 2. I rather play Mass Effect Andromeda than Last of Us Part 2. I rather play Fallout 76 (and i hate that game) than Last of Us Part 2. I basically play anything that was trash, rather than Last of Us Part 2, because Last of Us Part 2 is absolute lowest of the low trash.

However, this is a game that's supposed to be driven by its story. Let's say if this story was driving a car, it would have crashed into a dumpster. Firstly, this story doesn't have a protagonist or an antagonist. The game has this edgy type of story where since everyone is killing and murdering to survive no one is the main hero or villian. The problem with that is that this means there is no one that you can cheer for or want to see achieve their destiny and no one that you want to see taken down. This means you can't invest in any of the characters cause you cant care about them. This kind of story may work for other media like movies and tv shows but not for a 25 hour game. This is the most unsatisfying, boring, pointless story I have played in a long time. In my opinion put your money towards something more meaningful because this game ain't it… Expand

Lesbians? it’s not a problem - I don’t care about their sexuality you go for it girls. But...the death of a main character needs avenging and now I get no choice but to say I forgive you. I don’t forgive you and I certainly don’t forgive naughty dog and Sony. As far as I’m concerned, I payed as Ellie and loved it. I played as Abbie, got killed and that’s the real ending.     Great game! Loved the whole story and made sense every single action of it. anybody who says otherwise maybe are just a bunch of kinds that don't understand that as people grow up so do the characters or maybe they didn't maybe finish the game. The graphics are really amazing.

I enjoyed then seeing supporting characters contradict themselves at one point, which shows how the feelings that the developers had you go through, can change people in many ways. the game play felt odd for some reason though. Prepare yourselves to cry your eyes out throughout, scream at the tv and grieve to the point of hating the creators, but then to think back at the first game and accept that this was the only way to tell this story. If it had been told in any other way we would have complained that it was the same thing rehashed; so I really admire the creators for taking this risk and not bending to fan service, but punching us in the gut. And trust me, when I saw the situation that starts the journey, I had to stop and cry my heart out for 30 minutes straight.… Expand

    Even though the ending left me empty it was an unbelievable experience. The last of us 2 tells a story wich couldn't be more realistic and a more emotional rollercoaster. This game is pure gold and a perfect sequel.

Many people do not understand that the last of us was not meant to be mainstream and therefore wanted to tell a much more dark and realistic story where not all of us get happy endings and life is very unpredictable, and that is why I find this to be a magnificent piece of art. I sped through firefights because I found it so similar to every other encounter. The sequel is definitely due for an overhaul and in all honesty I don't think that survival action is really fit for this game, it often just becomes annoying having to constantly gather and gather. Definitely worth the price for a great story and even better if you haven't played many third person shooters.… Expand

Sia dal lato tecnico che dal lato del gameplay questo gioco è quasi impeccabile. Il giudizio della storia è soggettivo ma sicuramente essa è stata raccontata in un modo fantastico, per questi motivi si merita di vincere il goty.     First of all i would like to thank naughty dog for this amazing game that not only is the definition of a sequel is also a memorable and full of emotions journey. Few games did gave me that experience. Great gameplay geat story from start to finish i didnt mind playing with other characters cause that was the beauty of it. I’m actually really disappointed in other players because they don’t see how amazing part 2 was and is. People in my opinion, just can’t see how great it is because of Joel. They have all this hate for Abby too. Which is just stupid because, Abby is actually a great character and more specially the main antagonist, or actually let me say, that maybe Ellie is also a antagonist or maybe an antihero. Ellie did so much wrong in the game too. Abby and Ellie both did. And now they live with that. Which is why Ellie makes her decision to let Abby go. But enough of the story, gameplay is amazing. Sound quality is so great. And the amount of weapons is great too. The way that the combat system evolved too is just great. Also, character development is better, and the actors gave a great performance which I love. Overall great game, just most people are just little crybaby’s… Expand

Gameplay is really fun with all those animations, details, quality AI and solid mechanics. Naughty Dog didn't dissapoint me with games beatiful engaging story. In first 10-15 hours I had a strong hate against Abby. And because of this hatred, I slaughtered all of Abby's friends. But after you start to play with Abby, you realize that no one is the true villian in this world. Abby is just a normal human being with emotions inside her. Abby part is just like first game actually. She starts her story as a soldier but after spending time with Lev she becomes a similar character like Joel. Just like Ellie , Abby wanted to take revenge. And she did it with killing Joel. But killing Joel resulted with Ellie killing all of Abby's friend. All this killing gave birth to a circle of revenge.

    Flashbacks show us Ellie and Joel didn't had good relations before joel died. And Ellie feels guilty because she didn't treated Joel nice before he died. To stop feeling guilty, Ellie uses revenge as a tool. All this drama transformed Ellie into a cold killer. But finnaly in the end she realizes killing Abby will not bring Joel back and will not stop the circle of revenge .With a final flashback Ellie remembers she forgave Joel. Ellie stops feeling guilty ,spares Abby's life and breaks circle of revenge. But it costs her the ability to play guitar (the last thing left from Joel) and Dina. And Ellie once remembers she must contiune to live on.

    The story of the game that I have summarized above is one of the best stories I have ever seen. And combining this story with perfect gameplay results with a mustplay masterpiece. Also sorry for bad English.    … Expand

    This was a perfect game in my book. The graphics and gameplay were great and were a good step-up on everything great in LoU. The story for me was a great journey to go through. They chose to go a path which I did not foresee. It is not something that might work for everyone but all character choices are understandable and the way the story is told is the best in any game to date.

    It's tempting to give this a 10 to outweigh some of the ridiculous reviews this game has received, but I think it's better to give my honest opinion. This game is not perfect, it's not a masterpiece but it is still a very good game which I continue to think about months after finishing.

If you are a fan of the first one and have developed a connection with these characters, the sequel, this game, will throw away everything that made the first game so good, and spit in your face while at it. Imagine playing the masterpiece that is the first game, and wait for 7 years to know and experience what happens with the characters that you grew to love, only for them to go the direction that they did, leading you off a cliff and while you fall, you just wish for the fall to end but keep going for hours until you crash into the ground, and the crash is worse than what you expect. Naughty dog was under the impression that if their art made you feel hate towards it, then that means their artistically good. There is nothing clever about the garbage story that was this game. There were numerous plot armor and plot convent moments and out right out of character moments and just plain retarded decision made. The new characters are not nearly as interesting as the ones in the first game and the ones you already know are put on the backseat, and the drivers are characters that the game tries so hard to make you give a **** about but fails and just turns into a shore to tolerate them whenever they’re on screen. For hours. Of course there were some social justice elements in there but they could be dismissed because the direction the franchise chose with the narrative is way more devastating and is the main problem that people have with this game. It might be more bearable to a new comer but if you played the first game, do not, I repeat, do not play the sequel. It will ruin your outlook on the franchise. What naughty dog is doing is dismissing us as haters and bigots and not realize that we were huge fans of the first game. But because of their arrogance and denial, they have their “set in their way” attitude, dismissing valid criticism as ignorance. They genuinely think that some are bad people for hating their garbage narrative, thinking they have the moral high-horse. When in reality, they’re just standing on a big pile of **** that is their game. Kinda shows how fragile their ego is. I used to have such high respect for this company, but after what they did, especially after the fact that they spit at their long time fans, they lost all credibility for me and have of their fan base. So. All in all, I do not recommend this game. It was the biggest disappointment I’ve ever experienced in any game I’ve played ever through my life.… Expand

    Playing this game after all the hype has died down, i can say that the last of us 2 is a good game. The combat is fun and the atmosphere and exploration is phenomenal. The graphics and overall quality is the best in the industry.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As much of a cliché as it is, The Last of Us Part II is ahead of its time. This has one of the most memorable stories that I've personally ever played, and it contradicts the first game entirely. In The Last of Us Part II, Joel is a shell of a human being at the beginning of the game, but through the innocence of his child companion, Ellie, he's given a second chance, both as a human being in general, and as a father. In The Last of Us Part II, Ellie starts as a good person (a little bit rude, maybe) and by the end of the game, she is left by everyone she loves, loses two fingers (making her unable to play guitar anymore), and develops severe PTSD. In my opinion, making the sequel of the most heartwarming game I've ever played, the most depressing game I've ever played is the boldest artistic decision made by a Triple-A game studio to date. If you hated this game because there is no relationship like there is with Joel and Ellie in the first, 1. I think you missed the point entirely 2. There is, between Abby and Lev, but it isn't the a huge part of the game. The Last of Us Part II has the least satisfying ending of any story I've ever experienced, but that doesn't make it bad. Ellie changes her mind, and she's allowed to do that, because Ellie is a dynamic character, and you aren't Ellie. Trust me, I wanted to kill Abby as much as the next guy, but at the end of the game, following Abby to the ends of the earth to kill her is just as bad as what she does to Joel, setting Ellie down this path, and if Ellie does that to Abby, she'll be setting Lev down that path, too. But she ends the cycle, she may have down the completely wrong path in her life, but Ellie still knows the difference between right and wrong. The biggest flaw with this game, is it's structure and pacing. It's not at all a traditional structure, which I think they probably should've gone with, but it didn't take much away from my enjoyment of the game. Maybe I'm just sad that he died, but I wish we could've seen more of Joel, before his death. This is definitely not a perfect game, but I think that it's a fitting sequel to a fantastic game. If you're offended because the main character is a lesbian, the other main character is believed to be transgender, and a side character is definitely transgender, then you're the snowflake.… Expand

    Loved it! Worthy successor to the 1st which was my all-time-favourite video game. Took around 35h to finish the story, and although I'm not sure I find every decision of every character 100% comprehensible, I think it's a well enough written and delivers exactly what it intends to.

    The gameplay is average, the graphics are great, however the story and writing are terrible. Since this is a story driven game I'm giving it 0/10. One of the worst, most bland stories I've ever played. Doom eternal has a better story which is saying something.

    Gameplay mechanics are great but story is incredibly poor. Unknown what they did with the writers of the original game but this game has no heart or logical sense of the previous game. Ultimately it makes no sense why it won 2020 game of the year award out of context. In context, it’s unknown why it won even with the massive crunch from developers to push out such a terribly written story.

    Joel dying for such a silly and futile reason made death serve only to have a reason for the game to start but that was very pathetic coming from Joel who is a guy who detonates an entire army

    Basically Joel's death was very forced and in the end the other deaths are just boring and boring

    This game does not reach the feet of the old and unfortunately the script resources available to the creators were very badly used

    The game does an excellent job of making combat and stealth feel "real" by stripping away a lot of arcadey elements of most stealth/FPS games. You have to use all your senses and situational awareness to do well in stealth and combat. It can be frustrating sometimes, and can even feel unfair, but I can't think of many ways they could have made the gameplay smoother without sacrificing realism. And it had to feel real to make the story feel real, too.

    So, for me, the game is a 10/10 for gameplay, story, and graphics. They had a goal and they achieved it incredibly well. But many people will not enjoy this game at all, and that's okay. We need more AAA games that take risks and strive for something beyond simple, satisfying games that most gamers will like.    … Expand

    Boring and overrated. When the difference between the "critics" and the audience is so high it means that something fishy happened with the reviews from "experts". The main problem i have with this game is that they tried to portray a movie onto a videogame and it does not work. It is when you want to make a movie out from a videogame.
    The pace of the game just feels wrong and out of place.

Un juego en el cual solo vale la pena la primera mitad, toda la parte que se juega con Ellie al inicio es simplemente hermosa, las partes de exploración, combate y todo son geniales, aunque es raro que ahora los infectados sepan esquivar los golpes siendo que en el primero no lo hacian, la muerte de Joel hasta cierto punto la entiendo, pero TODA la parte de abbie es absurdamente mala en termino de historia del mismo personaje y lo que hace ademas de los compañeros, por ejemplo con abbie hay una mujer embarazada a la cual no le importa el exponerse a algún peligro siendo que tiene el estomago inmenso de grande, ademas la ponen a hacer PARKOUR a UNA MUJER EMBARAZADA, ahora volviendo a abbie, aparte de que lo único que quería era venganza porque joel mato a su padre después no hay ningún motivo para jugar con ella o siquiera sentir empatia con el personaje.
    Llegado a cierto punto en la historia de Abbie pasan bastantes cosas que llegan a molestar, primero lucha con un infectado con un diseño hermoso e inmenso, y a ellie que es la protagonista de toda la primera parte y LA PROTAGONISTA DE LA SEGUNDA con suerte lucha contra un bloater. tambien las acciones de la misma abbie son de lo mas erráticas, con su ex pareja se comporta como la típica tsundere esteriotipada de un anime genérico, los 2 sobrevivientes que se encuentra son por así decirlo su oportunidad de redención de sus acciones, pero cuando la encuentran sus amigos del ejercito con estos se preguntan el porque lo hace y ella ni explicaciones les da ni un lo siento, simplemente los mata porque si, nada mas.
    Ahora viene la parte del director, Neil Druckman es la persona mas egolatra que existe, pone un personaje en el juego que es igual a el que es super cachero, que puede estar con cualquier mujer, ademas que hay una referencia a el en una carta coleccionable del juego que le da 100 de inteligencia (siendo el caso deberia ser de 20 por las estupideces que hizo en el juego) ademas el mismo personaje del juego tiene el descaro de escupir el cadaver del personaje del juego que le dio todo lo que es ahora ademas de tener el descaro de SOBORNAR A TODOS LOS GAME AWARDS, lo cual lo digo porque es la unica razon para que se ganara el juego del año ademas de que en el premio de los elegidos por los JUGADORES lo gano ghost of tsushima, es la prueba mas grande de la preferencia de los jugadores por los juegos,
    Resumiendo todo esto solo jueguen hasta el final de la primera parte de ellie la cual es la única que vale la pena y hagan cuenta que todo lo demás que pasa en el juego no existe y listo HAPPY ENDING    … Expand

    I couldn’t wait to have my hands on this game after playing the first one, I did not expect for Naught Dog to do what they did, I was so pissed off and annoyed but I had to play it to the end no matter what.

    This game is just perfect, i would rate it 9.7, but i can't. So 10 is my rating. If I were in naughty dog I would end the game in 20/22 hours, not 25+ (I'm italian btw)

TLOU 2 is a high quality game but the writing and story was horrible. I’ll just leave it at that. I shouldn’t be surprised though.

    The gameplay is over-the-top.
    But Jesus Christ... the story is just horrible....
    I get what they were trying to do, but it didn't work....
    The moment they gave me Abby as a playable character, I shut down the game and don't intend on ever touching it again.....

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...     If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
