    The first and last thing that should be said about this is, that the sheer ambition on display here sets it apart from anything else. It is a masterpiece that while flawed, is one of the greatest experiences in gaming. If the first one was a good zombie game with a big heart and interesting characters, this one is not that. I've no doubt It will become a benchmark for the future of interactive storytelling. Why? , because it is a challenging and complex human story told interactively with some zombie action thrown in secondarily . This might offend some fans, but what is gained in return is a story that is smarter than it has any right to be. Forcing players to feel and think might be its greatest weakness as many of us turn to games as an escape from our existence. A game that not only dares you not to play on but to recognize your own hurt/Id. You must let the game take you where it wants even when you're in disagreement or disbelief, like myself, it's the only way to enjoy the bleakness present in the plot . And as someone who has been through some violence, I can attest to the psychology on display as realistic and valid. If you can't respect the big plot points then remind yourself that one of the things we loved about the original was its uncompromising nature. Games have come a long way from even that game and I hope this marks a shift to even bolder storytelling in the future of aaa gaming.there are some negatives that stand out in the game play, small glitches etc but the presentation alone made me forgive it. The visuals and the character models are top notch. The sound design is amazing. Play it with headphones or a 5.1 or above system. The story could be tighter as it takes a bit to get to certain points, and it could be shorter as a whole. Some of the difficulty spikes seem random and unforgiving but not enough to make me quit. They seem to be better on harder difficulty. Overall a gem of the likes I didn't know could exist in video games period.9. 5… Expand

    This game was one of the most detailed games I’ve ever played.
    It was enjoyable and it had a great storyline and I think The ending of the game makes everyone curious about the future series of last of us.

I knew a little bit about the spoilers and was at first skeptical but then before playing decided to just go in with a clear mind. With that in mind, I thoroughly enjoyed the story, the way the characters change, and the themes of trauma and forgiveness (it’s not a story about revenge...it’s a story about forgiveness. When you realize that the ending is sooo much better). The story isn’t by any means perfect. There are a few areas I thought were weak and I wish they had focused a bit more on. Definitely some chronological changes I would love to see made which might help the pacing and tension of some scenes. Graphics and attention to detail are top notch. I don’t really recall any bugs in the game at all: major or minor. Very well polished up product, technically speaking. The music and atmosphere in which the story takes place are very engrossing. It’s easy to get lost in the vibe of the game, which is always a cool thing. Exploring such a huge city was neat. Anyways. It’s a great game. It’s got a great lesson in it. The story can be pretty **** heavy at times, so grab a stiff drink and be prepared to want to talk to your therapist again afterwards.… Expand

    Sadly the world is not mature enough for a controversial, thought provoking game like this. This is a masterpiece and is a shame not been able to experience it for what it is. Excellent combat, one of the very best actually, unbeliable world design and deep characters with REAL passions. Please do yourself a favor and experience this groundbreaking game.

    While playing both as Ellie and Abby throughout the game you experience a combination of dynamic game play in an incredibly detailed atmosphere. Both Directors such as Neil Druckman and Halley Gross contributed brilliant provocative writing to the table.
    In the Last Of Us world there is no good or bad, your actions receive consequences, I truly love how Neil Druckman portrayed the story of Abby, while you save Ellie from the fireflies in the first game you are given the option to shoot four of the doctors who helped do the operation on Ellie, if you look at the statistics I can only imagine many people shot the doctors, I love how The Last Of Us gives you that sense of choice because there was no need to shoot the doctors because they were all innocent people to the point when it turns out that one of the doctors was Abby’s father. I truly believe that Naughty Dog is trying to contribute something completely different that has never been done before in the history of gaming and I believe that is the concept of humanizing violence. As you play as Abby you interact with her friends and when you play as Ellie you interact with Ellie’s friends. As you play as Ellie you end up killing Abby’s friends who at the time remain anonmyous.

    For both storys Ellie has a quite simple A to B revenge mission while Abby has a slightly more complex yet interesting story that has more less nothing to do with Ellie’s story. As you play as Abby you find out about her suffering with the loss of her father and how she has prepared most of her life to kill Joel and her longterm relationship with Owen and how both Owen, Abby and Manny have fallen out with working for the WLF and how Nicholas Dixon the leader of the WLF has called war on the Seraphites a religious cult group that believe the pandemic is due to sin. As you encounter the main land Abby has potrayed both Nicholas and the WLF by befriending two young former seraphites.

    The first game offers a slightly more simple plot while part 2 brings a slightly more interesting yet diverse dilemma to the table
    Naughty Dog have taken the basic gameplay from the first one and brought it to the next level by adding so many difficult yet ingenious features.    … Expand

It's pretty obvious that the people who hate on Abby barely found out that women can get buff, and they don't seem to like it.     I was relived by the end because, Ellie&Abby had the same revenge quest but one finally stop it...

    I like the gameplay too :)

    I enjoyed my time with last of us 2 I loved the gameplay the AI the graphics the music and the story was emotional at first I hated abby but after finishing her part I didn't hate her as much I loved last of us 2 and I hope naughty dog makes a part 3

    Overall great game. I understand the arguments against it being good but I had a blast. Gameplay can get a bit stale but they keep it interesting enough to not make you hate it. Story was very emotional, took me a while to finish it because it just kept draining me so if you have some serious depression this may not be the best game. The Game is a masterpiece for some and burning trash for some. I liked tue story telling and narrative not much but still, but it winning everything is just trash. It's a dark, brutal, emotionally draining game that clocks in anywhere between 26-34 hours depending on how you play through it. It's a story about revenge at any cost, and what happens when that revenge becomes an obsession.

    It's a dark game for a dark time. There are no happy endings here.

    I personally abhorred the idea of playing anyone but Ellie, but by the end of the game, I felt awfully conflicted about the actions the game made you complicit in.

    Por q hay cosas que no están muy bien como la muerte de joel que fue un conjunto de coincidencias, muchos dicen que debió morir de una manera más épica pero yo creo que es una muerte muy real para el mundo de tlou aún que como llegaron a ella no estubo del todo bien entre otras cosas. Pero el juego es una montaña rusa de emociones es genial logrando que tengas varias emociones encontradas aún q no simpatise mucho con abby considero q el final es uno bueno ya q jamás había visto q un personaje principal terminará tan solo como ellie ye eso es algo muy oscuro y atrevido, por otra parte los flasbacks con joel fuero una joya los disfrute mucho y creo q son unas de las mejores partes del juego.     It started slow and I was waiting to be disappointed by all the criticism out there. But it grew on me and grew on me and I finished the game a few hours ago and honestly think it’s a masterpiece. Not only that - My favorite game of all time.     The Last of Us: Part II is a story that can only be described as a masterpiece. This game is truly an experience that will not escape the player's mind after completion. It truly breaks my heart that others can't appreciate its genius, especially when so many haven't even played the game (as demonstrated by the unfortunate User Score).

    Убийство Джоэла в самом начале игры с которого добрая половина, а то и больше, игроков начали бомбить и ставить игре 0 даже не пройдя дальше, показывает решимость авторов (в частности Дракманна) сделать игру чисто про Элли и Эбби, если бы Джоэл выжил, то многие бы еще сильнее бомбили пытайся они показывать Элли и Эбби забыв о нем.
    Те, кто говорят, что она скучная - поиграйте на максимальной сложности, вас будут как щенков гонять по арене и вы поймете зачем такие огромные арены для боев.
    Сюжет игры не гениальный (он и в первой части не был таковым, кто бы что не говорил), но он очень хорош. Повесточка, как многие визжат, есть, но ее настолько мало и она ну вот ВООБЩЕ не влияет на сюжет, что по сути можно сказать, что ее и нет.
    Сюжетная ветка за Элли выше всех похвал, проходил с большим удовольствием и местами специально тормозил, чтобы найти еще какой-нибудь диалог или еще какую-нибудь плюху. Видно, как сильно ее изменили в сравнении с первой частью игры - и это очень хорошо и интересно. Утверждающие, что Дракманн де не имел права так поступать с героями, АУ, это его персонажи, и поступать он мог так как хотел и как считал нужным, поэтому утритесь. Что бы он не сделал, все бы ФАНАТЫ первой части орали - все равно не то. Я люблю первую часть, но смотреть, так сказать, те же яйца только в профиль, я не хотел и не хочу, поэтому я благодарен за классные флешбэки, атмосфера первой части вернулась с ними, но этого достаточно. Это другая игра, про другие темы, про другого главного героя (или героев), поэтому, спасибо Дракманну, что не сделал клишированный сиквел, который точно зайдет всем, спасибо.
    Сюжет же за Эбби, мне понравился, но он затянут. Не обосновано затянут. На прохождение ее ветки у меня ушло где-то 13-15 часов, хотя все стало понятно где-то часов за 7-8.
    Концовка игры, как и сама игра в целом, не обесценивает первую, как некоторые здесь писали, она как раз подчеркивает правильность действий Джоэла, что она спас девочку, которая в последствии сама начала разрушать свою жизнь, а затем осознала это и смогла остановится пока не стало слишком поздно (или уже стало?)

    Итог, это однозначно очень хорошо сделанная игра, исполненная на высоком сценарном, техническом и дизайнерском уровне. Красивый мир, который интересно исследовать, люди, показанные в своей природной жестокости. Да, у меня тоже был момент, когда я сказал себе - что за херню я прохожу? Однако, я дошел до конца, и с уверенностью могу сказать - это не Анчик 4, где все кончается хэппиэндом, это очень качестенная история, которая опустошит вас (если вы любите первую часть), а потом наполнит совершенно другими эмоциями, которые заставят пересмотреть события первой игры, с другого ракурса, с настоящего ракурса.    … Expand

    I've been a gamer for the past 2 decades... I'm shocked at the hate this game has received despite the very obvious attention to detail and production quality. It was emotionally taxing but ... The experience (story, gameplay, stealth, AI ...) was something so special that really only happens very rarely in the gaming world (like once or twice in a generation)...     A video game where you forget who are the good and bad guys, it shows you how humanity is lost in a post pandemic world where criminals, toughs and vandals rule the world.
    Long walkthrough, great gameplay, amazing graphics.
    It is great how this video game is molded to your “style” from agresive to stealth, no matter the character you are playing with.
    Must play!

To everyone who is claiming it's trash: you completely missed the point and I pity you. To everyone who is yet to experience it for the first time: you're in for the ride of your life and I envy you.

    I'd been waiting to play it for years, the first episode was the reason I went from xbox360 to ps4 pro. I had a lot of expectations for the second episode of TLOU2 and I have to say I really liked it. It was exciting full of twists and turns and not at all boring, the direction spectacular as in all Noughtydogs games. Promoted and highly recommended.

A lot's of people gave this game 1 or 3 stars because they don't understand the teaching of this game. They cried because Joel is dead and the story is bad and **** andd bla bla bla. But I think, this game include more than a story, this game include psychological problems of both side (Ellie and Abby). Yes sometimes there's no story ( that's why -1), but a story without teaching conclusions isn't a true story. The Developers try to integrate this in the game but they failed (sometimes not like memory between Joel and Ellie)...
    The end of the story makes/lets me very mixed and ambiguous. Sometimes I wish Ellie should die but sometimes I wish Abby should die (Abby vs Ellie). That's why TLOU 2 leaves me with a very beautiful, sad and impressive ending In comparison to the first one TLOU 2 has a better fighting system and beautiful graphics. The game teaches me: People, who loves us but you hate them, but if they die, we will miss them nf they will miss us.

Авторы хотели не только донести в конце игры мысль, что мстить плохо, но и мысль, что надо уметь прощать людей вовремя, а особенно таких как Джоэл. Элли чувствовала вину перед Джоэлом, считала, что месть ей поможет, но ей становилось только хуже от нее, а поняла она это, когда душила Эбби в воде и когда вспомнила последний вечер перед смертью Джоэла. Конечно, нам всем жалко Джоэла, но авторы решили не топтаться на месте и решили сделать очень смелый шаг, который многим не понравился.     250 cc de agua tibia
    INSTRUCCIONES
    En un bowl o mezcladora colocar la harina, sal, levadura, azúcar, manteca y poco a poco ir agregando el agua. Integrar muy bien todos los ingredientes.

    Luego amasar unos 5 minutos a mano o en la mezcladora.

    Enseguida estirar la masa y formar un cilindro e ir cortando al menos unas 8 porciones. Con cada porción formar una bola e ir aplastándola y estirándola con la mano. Ir colocando cada pan en una bandeja que pueda ir al horno. Pinchar los panes con un tenedor.

    Dejar reposar los panes en un lugar tibio de su cocina al menos 1 hora.

    Precalentar el horno a 350°F (180°C).

    I actually found the abby parts to be more exciting.
    Altough i did think that the ending was a bit rough and made be upset and disapointed after playing it for a second time i slowly started too realise how i really felt about it.

    Excellent! The game is mind bottling. I cant belive how good the graphics, sound, and technical aspects of the game are. Really pushing the ps4 to the limit. And naughty dog has put in so many small animations and work into the details of the world. Very immersive This is the best game in have ever played

All the combat, gunplay, stealth mechanics are better than the first...and having the love and connection with the story from first really makes the second that much better. I thought it was really cool how Naughty Dog told the story from two points of view. Once ellie kills and owen you get straight into abby’s story right up to that point. At first, it seems uninspiring, who wants to play as the antagonist, especially the one who killed one of the most well crafted characters of all time, Joel. But slowly Naughty Dog shows you her story and who Abby is, and for a while I wanted Abby to kill Ellie, then Ellie to kill Abby, and back and forth. I have never like an “antagonist” so much and loved the way Naughty Dog was able to make such a complex story with so many emotions going on.… Expand

This is hands down one of the most fun games I have ever played. I rarely buy games on launch. But, surprisingly, I paid the 70$ for this game and have enjoyed every single moment of the 30 hours that I got out of it and have consumed much more regarding the game. Joel's death is justified, in the sense that he really did just **** all over humanity in order to save Ellie, and most important of all, Ellie's rampage and suicide mission across America, but without Joel is justified when considering she's got the same **** virus in her head than any of the other infected, but her immune system has somehow overcome this and turned out as we saw in the movie. Come on guys. Her father figure was **** murdered in front of her while she was trying to rebuild their destroyed relationship. What else can you ask for?… Expand

    The only thing that TLOU2 did not really develop is the side characters. They are there... and they are helpful... but you don’t really care about them that much. One the other hand, however, there is more time for the main characters to develop and it is worth the loss.
    I highly recommend it only after you finished the first part. It is a world perfect for complete immersion of the player.

    I miss Joel, but Ellie is also a good character.

    The gameplay is very good, sometimes it is boring, when you fight it is beautiful.

    The last of us (both games) don't have a good ending, those endings are very sad.

    The game touches on these five things: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.

    We are like Tommy, but Tommy does not accept Joel's death, he did not forgive, he did not change in the story, he wants revenge, but the goal of the game is to forgive.

    This was one of the best games that I have ever played. The characters and themes are unlike any that I have encountered in the video game medium. It honestly elevates the medium to the level of great literature. Not every great story is necessarily a happy one and this one can be emotionally brutal at times. I am on my third playthrough and am enjoying more than I did the first time through.

    Even if some people disliked this sequel, I personally think this game is very enjoyable and fun to play. The main requirement to have a good time playing it is approaching Tlou2 open-minded, and trying to accept what happens. Apart from some story moments Tlou2 is a perfect game.

    I really love the game. At first you think "what is going on?" but then you start understanding everything. It has a LOT of amazing details from the story. Many people say its a horrible game because they are Disney lovers and they like the stories that have sad moments but always finish with everyone singing, but in this game this doesn't happen.

The game is brilliant and bold. The people that didn't like the game didn't understand the message or didn't give it a straight shot, like for example if you didn't let game explain Abby's side it's and say her story is boring and you can;t relate to her, then you clearly didn't understand the message. The story is about both Abby and Ellie had their motivation to act as they did just like in any war there is not a good or bad side the same thing is here. Esse jogo é uma obra de arte, muitas pessoas estao falando mal, mas nao sabem o que dizem, eu cresci vendo TLOU com 9 eu joguei o original, com meu irmão, e hoje com 14 eu comprei o Parte II, sinceramente a melhor decisao, o jogo tem graficos inpecaveis, e uma excelente jogabilidade, a morte do Joel foi algo muito necessaria, e teve que ser visseral daquele jeito, pois a Naugt Dog, queria q tivessemos o mesmo trauma que ellie, pra mim ficou claro que a Abs e a Ellie sofrem de transtorno pos traumatico, o que fazem elas matar as pessoas, pois nao existe terapia, né, mas as duas veem que nao melhorou nada, e a cada pessoa que a Ellie mata, ela ve que ela nao melhora quanto a isso, o trauma so fica maior, e quando chega la com a Abby, quase morrendo ela ve que isso nao mudaria muito as coisas, e quando ela se lembra do Joel, assim é dificil entender a mente humana, eu nao sei o que ela pensou pois TLOU é isso ele nao entrega as coisa de bandeja, vc tem que pensar pra enteder, e enquando a Abby, ela ja percebeu quando matou o Joel, que o trauma deka de ter perdido o pai nao mudou, e é por isso que no fim do jogo ela nao quer lutar, ela nao quer mais essa dor, ela nao que mais vingança, pois isso nao resolveu nada pra ela, entao porque continuar, com isso, mas a Ellie ainda que a sua vingaça e luta contra abby ate se lembrar do joel, e no fim do jogo quando a ellie perde 2 dedos de sua mao, ela nao consegue tocar mais o violao, a unica coisa que a conectava com joel, ela vai embora provavelmente atras de sua familia para viver em paz, meu deus que hype que eu to pro terceiro… Expand

    Even though The Last of Us Part II relishes in making players uncomfortable and reminding them characters can lose everything at a moment’s notice, those bleak traits are part of the game’s appeal even if the charm’s a morbid one.

    This is an amazing story wrapped in a video game. For those of us who laud games as pieces of literature, this game is a must. I’m heartened to see that the majority of user reviews are positive. When we look back, say 10 years from now, many will begrudgingly admit that this game is a masterpiece.

    Many people who played this game wanna be a writer of this game.If u are the someone feels like this, be writer and write your own story. This game story is good as its just being.

    Look maybe I'm being a bit harsh but when a game completely and totally destroys the story just to push a narrative it makes the good graphics and average gameplay just seem terrible. I'm disgusted with what they did to the game

    It’s a masterpiece! Amazing story. Amazing graphics. Such an immersive game. Highly recommend for TRUE LAST OF US FANS. I don’t get why the hate! I assume those people just followed the herd of one dumb ass and didn’t even played the game. Hell... those people I think they don’t even own a PlayStation. Soo please.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
