When not, then thats just not a game for you, or you're just not emotionally prepared for this. Maybe play it a secound time to understand this game. Give this game a fair chance.     Wow. Absolutely phenomenal. Amazing storytelling, faultless visuals and atmosphere and some of the most addictive gameplay I’ve come across. One of the very best games ever made.

Its a grat game with a emotionally deep and complex history that let you see both sides of the coins, even when it has some mecanic issues the graphics and a great story compensate minor things; its really sad that the game had such hate and bad criticism from people that doesn’t even bother on playing the game but in my personal opinion it worth the wait, hope to see a 3rd part or dlc… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I thought the story was awesome and playing different characters with opposite perspectives was really powerful. By the end I was hoping for the opposite conclusion than in the beginning. I started to find some of the gameplay a bit repetitive and not much difficulty in solving puzzles but overall still very enjoyable. What I really enjoyed in the original game was the multiplayer and it's really a tlou2 factions that I want to come out. I'll be back to tlou1 factions in the meantime.… Expand

    This game came into my life at a very powerful time. To say this game is a masterpiece, for me, would be an understatement. I hold Ellie so close to my heart after completing the game I feel as if she is a real person. I was with this character through all her hurt and pain and, in a brief moment, joy. This game, in my opinion, showed how dangerous a revenge story can play out. I wantThis game came into my life at a very powerful time. To say this game is a masterpiece, for me, would be an understatement. I hold Ellie so close to my heart after completing the game I feel as if she is a real person. I was with this character through all her hurt and pain and, in a brief moment, joy. This game, in my opinion, showed how dangerous a revenge story can play out. I want Ellie to find peace within her self. I love this game. It was an emotional experience, one that I have never experienced in any other medium let alone a video game. My hope is that if they make another installment that it will continue down the mental anguish road that Ellie is going through and find, in the end, peace.     Awesome story telling, as usual for ND. I really loved how the game play has improved and the AI of the NPCs. The story might not please everybody but it has been directed with passion and some good writers were part of it. Highly recommended.

I don't know how anyone can call this a "bad" game. I think even calling it average is pushing it. But if you genuinely feel that way, fair enough.

I hated her but come to find out her and joel aren't so different. This game has a revolving theme revenge and loss. It seems the that people will go so far for revenge that they're willing to sacrifice everything which is why the ending is so bittersweet. In my opinion it was a fantastic game. It kept me on edge the entire playthrough and at times it was almost maddening to play through because of the feelings I had from moments in this game. It was great and I'll miss Joel so much. 7/10 from me.… Expand

Esta es mi nota puesto que tiene una impecable jugabilidad, magníficas animaciones, y escenas de acción y pelea muy buenas, cinemáticas y gráficos geniales en las partes jugables, sacándole todo el potencial a la ps4(en mi caso normal) de ahí su 5 por la mitad, la otra mitad (osea el otro 5 es por historia, yo no puse 9 o 10 porque no es una historia magnífica para mi, y estaba entre el 7 u 8,eleji 8 ya que si me gustaron los flash back (solo que a veces te los ponían después de la acción y eso te baja de una esta misma), pero en general me gusta para recordar el primer juego y como era y para conocer nuevos momentos, lo que sí no me pareció mucho, fue el echo de que hubiera preferido ver esto en un inicio para recordarlo pero jugarlo desde un comienzo a la ves como una secuencia despues del 1 y (así seguir fortaleciendo más el lazo con joel y que en la mitad o un poco antes venga su muerte), a mi me dolio, sip, pero después recordar esos flash back no los disfrute mucho sabiendo que joel ya estaba muerto, hubiera preferido fuera al revés y fortalezer, etc; su muerte (la razón por la que murió) sip, encuentro que estuvo bien el motivo y funcionaria más si fuera con los puntos que dije, pero si siento que su muerte fue de una forma miserable y un poco forzado porque justo ellie es la que llega a esa casa y tiene que observar todo eso, (aunque a mi me hubiera gustado haber visto algo distinto y no la historia donde muere joel), ya que para mí podría desarrollarse quizás más o haberlo visto envejecer, o por último ya si abby se vengo de el, que por ultimo lo hubiera dejado lisiado (ya sea porque joel se defendiera o algo así), o que hubiéramos formado un lazo con dina o alguien y si querían algo crudo muera esa persona, pero no quien era uno de los protagonistas (a mi parecer) se que es mas "feliz", pero se hubiera sentido igual, si joel quedaba mal igual se sentiría, y sería viable a otros puntos de historia, o en el caso ya de que este muriera y que la venganza sólo trae más venganza, lo entiendo y en parte lo acepto y lo veo bien, ¿me gustó la historia? ¿como es y todo?, si fueron muchas emociones, pero estos son los puntos por los que no me parece ni 9 o 10, es una secuela donde abby era tipo "heroina", ya que al final del 1 joel fue un despiadado, y se entiende con la muerte del doctor, pero a la ves lo lloras por todo el cariño, es una nivelación justa, pero, donde me hubiera gustado algo más distinto, quizas una lección y redención por parte de joel en el caso planteándose las cosas malas que hizo y el egoísmo por salvar a ellie, pero redimiendose no acabandolo y que al final después de su muerte ellie lo apreciará más... Osea estoy a favor y en contra de ahí su 8.
    ( como aparte) en el trailer de 2016 y me incluyo nos dio mucha esperanza pensar que joel y ellie se unirían de nuevo para combates etc etc, y eso nos motivo y tiempo despues mostraban uno un poco "engañoso"(también dando esperanza falsa), de que joel le tapaba la boca a ellie cuando en la historia era otro personaje,pensando todos que a dina le sucedería algo pero en verdad no fue así(en ese trailer también nos hacían creer que dina se perdía y le pasaba algo), y con lo de la comunidad lgtbi me parece bien la inclusión y todo no hay nada encontrá lo q si lo encontré un poco metido a la fuerza a veces, pero en general si lo acepto, respeto y todo pero si un poco forzadito... esto como repito es aparte y solo lo comento fuera de mi reseña anterior    … Expand

    Naught dog i think were trying to show to show what was right and wrong. With all the back and forth revenge it just shows you lose more and what you gain from taking revenge. So in a way i think this is a social experiment too to see how many people in the world think revenge is the right choose but really its a double edge sword.     As the main feature of Last of Us was a story - now this story is very bad.
    When you see how f****st ideology was implemented in scenario, in characters - you see the actual result. You have non-evolving characters, non-interesting gameplay ( gameplay did not evolve from first game), absense of characters motivation in most of cases.
    When you see this game, you just think "It could be a masterpiece. But now... this is politics"    … Expand

Nothing quite like pursuing justified yet irrational revenge killing from both sides of the story. It's a shame there are so many people who can't appreciate that or accept that when faced with death and rage, people do rash things. One of my favorites now, for sure… Expand

The scene with Ellie and Joel in the museum was so well thought out, I almost forgot I was in a video game while playing it. TLOU2 was one big emotional rollercoaster pulling at your heart strings the whole way. I especially loved how it went into both sides of the story showing Abby’s perspective as well. It was great to be able to play as this buffed out MMA chick where her takedown was literally strangling out the infected breaking their necks, a character type that not many game’s have really tapped into. When it came to the theater boss fight with Ellie I was a mess because I cared for both characters and their struggles. Both of them felt their side was right but in the end everyone was just fighting against each other for no good reason in all of the chaos. There’s this massive outbreak consuming humans rapidly but everyone was so focused on senseless revenge. I feel like it uncovers humanity’s true nature when calamity ensues. I can’t fathom why the game’s received so much hate. My hats off to you, Naughty Dog! Can’t wait for the 3rd!… Expand

En esta segunda parte, Druckmann continuó con esa idea de proyectar emociones, pero en esta ocasión sentimos que fue mucho más cercano y sentimental para el público, algunas situaciones inesperadas hacen que los personajes tomen más trascendencia y que cada una de las muertes se sienta muy real. Otro aspecto del que no podemos dejar de hablar es el gráfico, sin lugar a dudas aprovecharon absolutamente todo el poder que tenía la PS4 para dar y lograron unos escenarios muy bien logrados con una iluminación casi perfecta y acompañado por un 'soundtrack' y una combinación de sonidos que hacen la experiencia muy inmersiva.… Expand

    I finished it Tuesday night. Breathtakingly... hauntingly beautiful depiction of the cycle of violence and what it does to the human condition. Cant believe I said that about a computer game... but yeah phenomenal piece of art. It's honest like a book you'd read for english lit where you could write essays on it. Definitely a must experience game. Ellie and Joel will always have a warmI finished it Tuesday night.     One of the best story drive. games I’ve played in a while. I saw a lot of people did not like the story but I don’t understand where that criticism is coming from. I feel like people are over reacting because the writers took this game in a different route than the first.

It’s a revolution in the gaming world always sterilised from subjects like LGBT. Se que hay gente a la que no le gusto ciertos eventos del juego pero creo que la historia conecta muy bien a los personajes y sabe manejarlos muy bien.

    My new favourite game ever! Uncharted 4, Red Dead Redemption and God of War pushed this generation to the limits. The Last Of Us Part 2, in my humble opinion showed how the future of gaming is, in combination with a bold Story full of raw violence! I just love the game! Thank you Naughty Dog, thank you for pushing forward the gaming industry and culture.

Just finished a full play through, and I have to say from the start that I didn't read any spoilers leading up or follow much of the political rhetoric being thrown at the game, though I was aware of it. That being said being a fan of the first game..which I believe changed the way people thought about what a game could be..I was really apprehensive to play it seeing all the shade being thrown at it, not by political or ideologically minded people..but gamers who love the first one. Once I started playing though, it all dropped away and I honestly loved it..is it its predecessor..no..it was never going to be and quite frankly I've already played that game. Здешние отсылки являются не только теплым кремом на душу, но и сюжетными твистами, которые добавляют больше смысла в концепцию этого сюжетного тома идеи Нила Дракманна. Все эти моменты пронизывают до мурашек, а в сопровождении с душещипательным саундтреком Густаво Саонтьянолле... это просто невыразимо словами. Подобрать какие либо эмоции сложно для описания этого экстаза при совокуплении всего самого прекрасного в этой игре.

    Игра не перестает удивлять, даже рассчитывая на определенный, конкретный и логичный исход - она дарит очередной, не менее логичный, и объяснимый исход.

    Это я только заикнулся про сюжет. Геймплено эта игра - совершенная версия первой части. Как самостоятельный продукт она сильно проигрывает, но ей удалось разнообразить все, данные от первой части, механики, до их самого интересного развития. Графика и проработка здесь на уровне Red Dead Redemption 2. Труд сотен не будет недооценен. Это шедевр и игра года. Достойное и достаточно смелое продолжение всеми полюбившейся истории, которая расширила свой лор.

    Gameplay is awesome, the story and characters are amazing, just like Part 1 you wont forget this story, and its certainly still on my mind. But 9/10 because I just like heroic/saved the day/happily ever after type of endings in a game and while that is kind of the ending, its not the feeling I had at the end.

    an Absolutely amazing journey of revenge with gripping characters. Characters I have never seen be portrayed in video games before. The world, the mechanics, UI and cinematics were all smooth and beautiful. This game deserves more recognition as it is a masterpiece. 10/10

As a bad thing, I think it is needlessly too long, they could have deleted some parts easily which were less relevant, and the last hours became to me a little bit tedious, but seeing how the story ends after being playing all these hours I got satisfied.

    In my opinion, it doesn't deserve too much hate, but I admit Naughty Dog probably risked too much in some parts that could have some players got angry about it. Anyway, they advised it was going to be different and would take the player into hard feelings or decisions, and for me they succeed in it and it was a great experience to me!    … Expand

    Don't leave this game in the shelf just because people are aggresively advocating against this game. It just proves the game succeded in its mission of creating large emotional reactions in players.

    I feel like people that have not actually experienced grief or loss in their lifes hate this game for giving that emotion to them for the firdt time

    Simply one of the most beautiful and well-written games I have ever had the pleasure to play.
    The first one is still my favorite, just for the fact that at the time of playing I had no idea what was waiting for me in that game. But this is just Naughty Dog showing that they are masters at what they do. Thank you, Naughty Dog.

    This is why we need critics. It seems like an outdated thing to have, until a group of you morons decides to get butt hurt over decisions that the developers made (If it were up to you both games would likely have been awful). This was, in my opinion, a masterpiece and a brilliant next step in the Last of Us 2 saga. I can only hope that they do an equally amazing job on Last of Us 3.

Finally, add salt and pepper to taste. Few dishes are as popular as fried potatoes. But there are a couple of points that you need to remember: stirring the potatoes should be less often, and before you start frying, you should soak the potatoes for half an hour so that the excess starch disappears.     The gameplay has improved a lot giving you more freedom and with more complex and chaotic maps . Really detailed how every weapon affects an enemy .
    The ost is really good and kicks in the right moments . The content in this game is massive but the pacing of it is a little slow in the first part .
    The story of this game takes some risks but it's one of the vest of this gen for sure.
