    Solid graphics and gameplay. The game feels longer than it should have been, but within reasonable limits.

    A number of questionable choices that divided the community, but looking at the ending, it seems there was no obviously better way to tell this story. So it seems to me those choices were justified.

I have no interest in playing Neil Drukmann's terrible fanficiton fantasy. I have no interest in watching the characters i love from the first game all of the sudden act like complete morons in part 2. I have no interest in being forced to play as the character that brutally murders the character i grew to love from part 1. I have no interest in playing a game that is trying to check diversity boxes before making good characters. I have no interest in playing through a 25-30 hour narrative that accomplishes NOTHING. I have no interest in supporting a company that runs a manipulative marketing campaign that outright LIES to their consumers. I have no interest in supporting a company that abuses copyright policies to try and take away the livelihoods of content creators just for talking about their game.

    Bottom line, this is a terrible sequel to what i consider one of the best games ever made. Terrible enough that in my mind, it no longer exists and The Last of Us is and forever will be a standalone title in my eyes.    … Expand

    Graphics are amazing. Gameplay is very good indeed, but with the same problems of every Naughty Dog game so far. The game doesn't allow you to go back and explore an area, even when exploration is a massive part of the game. And it gets really repetitive after a while.

    About story and characters: COMPLETE GARBAGE. Meaningless story, full of plot holes, full of weird decisions, all the    Graphics are amazing. It makes a tremendous effort to compare a brutal and slow murder of and unnarmed and defenseless man to the kill of a man armed with a scalpel that was trying to kill a little girl.

    This thing, again, is FULL OF PLOT HOLES.

    Sorry to have wasted my time with the part time 1 of this game . 30 hrs of my life just to play part 1 again filled with more hate and rhetoric messages with a story filled with faults for a game that rely mainly on story telling .

    Hdr/4k/60 fps (on ps5). Great animations, great environments, good length without repetition, great gameplay. I imagine if they would not try to pry us with identity politics and other modern agendas what a great game could have been. All the effort and talent went to waste.     Game destroys the entire purposed of TLoU part 1. Fireflies planned to keep Ellie sedated and kill her without talking to her or Joel. He did the right thing. on part 2 they just make it out to be as wet he did was wrong. This game was so uncomfortable to play. Sick developers. This game made people feel so miserable. First time I regret spending money on a game.

    The original game was a lot better story wise. TLOU2 looks good and plays good but the story is horrendous and failed to keep me interested. Ghost of Tsushima was a much better game with a great story plus it outsold TLOU2 by 50%.

Это не игра ради игры, а ради навязывания современных безумных западных тенденций. Игра начинается с того, что азиат ведёт Элли к его бывшей девуше (теперь это девушка Элли, она теперь вдруг лесбиянка). Девушка у неё бисексуалка, тёмная, с огромным носом, еврейка. По пути Элли унижает какого-то мужика за то, что он якобы шовинист (к чему это было придумано?). Дальше они идут в поход, занимаются лесбийским сексом, нам в пол экрана демонстрируют черные небритые подмышки ее подруги (бодипозитив повестка). Выбор спать или не спать нам игра не даёт (в 2020 году, ало). Мне, 30 летнему мужику с нормальной семьей, который проходил первую часть, это отвратительно. Элли мне стала почти как виртуальная дочь. Я не хочу играть за 19 летнюю лесбиянку, но мне не дают делать даже такого выбра, больной на голову сценарист все решил за меня. Дальше передают в управление бабу-трансгендера на стероидах. Хз кто она вообще такая, но она насмерть и с ненавистью забивает Джоэла клюшкой для гольфа. Ура, белый мужик традиционной ориентации побеждён, аплодисменты! Элли берет с собой свою боевую еврейку лесбиянку и идут мстить, вместо Джо с вами теперь в напарниках бегает это носатое чудо. По пути заходим в синагогу, находим еврейский дневник, где евреи говорят о том, что поляки спасли их от немцев во время Второй Мировой войны. Как это? Немцы взяли Польшу за месяц. Это передёргивание историческими фактами и семитизм в чистом виде. Больше в это недоразумение играть не стал. Если вам дороги воспоминания о первой части, проходите мимо этот мусор.     One of the worst and most pathetic triple a game releases of all time. An agenda filled game fueled by the creative writers own western political views, an atrociously written story with horrible characters and one of the most non sensical endings of all time. First game was retconned to fit this abomination they concocted after the fact.

    This is the worst game to be a sequel. Not only **** over the magnificent of its predecessor, but it kills its main character in almost the very beggining of the game. Joel deserve better, Ellie was a nice sidekick, not the main character, The Last of Us was    Finally I made up my mind.

"Developers forced to work overtime in order to create what their politically radical and sadistic director considers as realistic" - bull***t. It is more than clear that Neil Druckmann and his creative team truly managed to convey some important aspects of our society in a way that nobody expected, but should be greatful for. To be more exact, here is an example - the players received an idea of what having to deal with SJW feels like. I mean, I took an inportant lesson, which I would have rather learnt the hard way - muscular transgenders are already among us, waiting to bash some faces off with a golf stick, so be aware and try to avoid them. Also, graphics look immaculate. To summarize it all, I am thankful for the long-waited end of the series, for the inflicted pain, which quite frankly was bad pain and, of course, for traumatising me and the other players with the wonderful "realism" of a social extremist's mindset. Can not believe that studio like Naughty Dog has fallen slave to such meager standards and debaucherous dreams of a social activists' agenda arse-licking leader.… Expand

The rest of the game are just pieces of texture, not a soul, not a story. Everything that causes emotions in this game is taken from the 1st part. The very thing is complete ****

This was a game that was a no brainer that I was going to get Day 1 before seeing the leaks of the awful story, horribly misleading media and the criminal attacks on Youtubers by Sony/Naughty Dog. The antiquated game play, bland level design and grey world are not saved by goodBeen playing Naughty Dogs games since they began and have loved many especially the Uncharted series and TLOU.     The game itself has clearly got some incredible graphics ultimately however it's a polished turd wrapped up in a egocentric writer's fantasy. Zero character development compared to the original and a gameplay loop that's repetitive with poor AI (stealth is completely broken).

Also in game was situations when Ellu kills a pregnant woman and an Abbys dog.     Pros:
    - Stunning graphics, borderline next-gen
    - The same gameplay we've all come to love
    - Improved animations from the first game
    - A jump button, though this comes into play so few times it may as well not be there

    Cons:
    - By "the same gameplay," I do mean the same. Absolutely no innovations were made beyond turning the "counter" mechanic from the original into a "dodge" instead
    - The story is unoriginal. The plot is a tired, dime a dozen revenge story you've heard a thousand times already
    - Characters are inconsistent. Several high-stakes events happen because characters make stupid decisions they never would make realistically. Each character flips from competent to incompetent in a bipolar fashion.
    - NPCs are forgettable. In most cases, when a named NPC died, I (and all of the other characters) had difficulty truly caring
    - The story uses subverting expectations as a huge crutch, to the point where I could usually expect what "unexpected" event would happen instead. One subversion was used on *3 separate occasions*
    - Awful pacing. To make up an example (not a spoiler), lets say you killed a bad character shortly after learning their name and realizing they're in your way. The game would then, 6 hours later, give you a flashback showing you why that character was actually good, to try and make you feel bad.

    Overall, I feel that The Last of Us is a 4/10. It has good graphics and classic TLOU gameplay, but not much else. I would not recommend this game.    … Expand

Clearly the fan base has rejected this game in every way. The professional reviewers must have been paid quite handsomely to give it a the scores it got.

En pocas palabras se pasaron los sentimientos y el desarrollo del primero juego por los huevos y metieron a un personaje oculto, no anunciaron a este personaje llamado "Abby", nos hicieron creer que las aventuras de Joel y Ellie seguirían en esta entrega pero no, mataron al personaje de Joel de la manera más forzada posible, que guión más basura, mi abuela que nunca ha jugado un juego escribe algo mejor, lo peor de todo es que al personaje oculto nos lo hacen jugar más de 10 horas de gameplay, a quien le va a gustar jugar con el personaje que mató al personaje más querido de la entrega, a que él era la comunidad, la razón por la que la gente jugaba TLOU, no era Ellie y Naughty Dog lo sabía y se lo pasó por los huevos, o peor es que después de la muerte uno piensa que la historia sería venganza y venganza por todos lados pero parece más un drama amoroso entre Dina y Ellie, como que si Joel dejode existir en el juego, ya sin más detalles, este juego es aburridisimo, eso es lo que más duele, puede tener unos graficos y estar bien hecho pero el guión y el desarrollo de los personajes desacredita demasiado el juego.… Expand

Seeing both sides, understanding where they come from before the inevitable clash. The problem is that this is a SEQUEL and you are only introducing antagonist in the second installment. It's a **** uphill battle, because you're trying to make us empathize with the character who kills the established and well loved protagonist.

    The thing is, you can clearly see that this was an issue for a writing team too. They make Abby too nice, too righteous compared to Ellie. It's a manipulative tactic, trying to push down one protagonist to boost another. They do their absolute **** best to make Ellie unlikable, didn't work. We practically witnessed this girl grow up, we will automatically be on her side.

    I think the better story would've been a continuation of Joel and Ellie's relationship. It would've been much more powerful to see Joel actually witness and process the consequences of his own actions coming to haunt him. Instead, they took a lazy way out, which turned Joel into a **** martyr. I can't possibly see him in a bad light, because I'm too focused on his death. The character I loved died, death makes it hard to be objective about said character's bad deeds.

    Oh well, I can see they tried, I just think that this shouldn't have been a sequel. This should have been a standalone game with original characters, that way this kind of story could be more balanced towards both sides of the conflict.    … Expand

    Doesn't really innovative from the last game, the story is below average compared to the last game, feels like they're trying to push the dry and edgy side too much. While the main theme violence begets violence flops pretty hard as you wade through nameless soldiers who repeat the same lines.worth the horrendous crunch the devs were made to do. The accessibility options are a nice addition.

If you enjoyed the The Last of Us Part 1, I would highly recommend that you do not play this because it will tarnish your memory of the well-written characters from the first game. Nothing about the narrative is neither coherent or consistent. The more I played, the more obvious it became that the writers are aspiring Hollywood writers that never made it in film or television and decided to use the game as an attempt to show off their craft. In keinen Trailer und auch in keiner Beschreibung wurde jemals erwähnt, dass die Hälfte des Spiels nicht mit Elli ist sondern mit nem random Charackter, der plötzlich existiert. Zudem wurde auch verboten vor Release über den zweiten Teil zu reden.

    Was war meine Erwartungshaltung (aufgrund von Trailern und den ersten Teil):
    - 100% Elli Gameplay mit Joel
    - schöne, positive flashbacks mit den beiden

    Was ich bekommen habe:
    - 50% Elli die als irre dargestellt wird
    - direkter brutale Ermordung von Joel
    - Abbi die aus dem nichts kommt

    When your video game doesn't get a SINGLE negative review from a critic, that's a major red flag. It's indicative of the fact that no one is actually stupid enough to believe you didn't already pay them off to put you in the spotlight.

    As for the game itself, absolute trash. Let's take one of gaming's most beloved anti-heroes and have him die in the dumbest way possible to some politically-correct she-hulk, and... just... good lord. I don't even know how else to put it. I thought this game was supposed to be about zombies and surviving, and finding new communities, and rekindling lost relationships. Instead you turned it into political commentary.

    Also the ending of the game is a freakin joke. Like one final kick in the balls from a developer that hopefully 'wins' worst company of the year.

    Save your money. If you think this game is good because it has 10,000 more positive than negative, then you're clearly not thinking straight. This game wouldn't be worth purchasing unless it was 50 cents.    … Expand

There is very little meaningful character development, and story is dull. There is too much focus on scavenging and entering pin codes which needs to be obtained by reading the notes. The first game was essentially a survival combat, but second is all about meaningless scavenging for supplies. I wonder if some people complained about too much violence in the first game so they replaced it with scripted dialog and item pickups. The whole game is about walking along heavily decorated 1D corridor, picking up notes and ammo with occasional shooting and simple platforming. The game map is basically a 1D corridor. Everything is fully scripted, there is almost no need to touch a controller (unless the game needs you to enter to pin code) - it is like watching a movie. The game has more pin code doors and lock boxes than actual enemies. Part 1 was incredible, but part 2 feels like a big let down. I am very disappointed, it could have been so much better. I played all uncharted games (and last of us part 1)- this is the worst game this developer produced. They wasted time of their games developers and players.
