    Boring and overrated. When the difference between the "critics" and the audience is so high it means that something fishy happened with the reviews from "experts". The main problem i have with this game is that they tried to portray a movie onto a videogame and it does not work. It is when you want to make a movie out from a videogame.
    The pace of the game just feels wrong and out of place.

Un juego en el cual solo vale la pena la primera mitad, toda la parte que se juega con Ellie al inicio es simplemente hermosa, las partes de exploración, combate y todo son geniales, aunque es raro que ahora los infectados sepan esquivar los golpes siendo que en el primero no lo hacian, la muerte de Joel hasta cierto punto la entiendo, pero TODA la parte de abbie es absurdamente mala en termino de historia del mismo personaje y lo que hace ademas de los compañeros, por ejemplo con abbie hay una mujer embarazada a la cual no le importa el exponerse a algún peligro siendo que tiene el estomago inmenso de grande, ademas la ponen a hacer PARKOUR a UNA MUJER EMBARAZADA, ahora volviendo a abbie, aparte de que lo único que quería era venganza porque joel mato a su padre después no hay ningún motivo para jugar con ella o siquiera sentir empatia con el personaje.
    Llegado a cierto punto en la historia de Abbie pasan bastantes cosas que llegan a molestar, primero lucha con un infectado con un diseño hermoso e inmenso, y a ellie que es la protagonista de toda la primera parte y LA PROTAGONISTA DE LA SEGUNDA con suerte lucha contra un bloater. tambien las acciones de la misma abbie son de lo mas erráticas, con su ex pareja se comporta como la típica tsundere esteriotipada de un anime genérico, los 2 sobrevivientes que se encuentra son por así decirlo su oportunidad de redención de sus acciones, pero cuando la encuentran sus amigos del ejercito con estos se preguntan el porque lo hace y ella ni explicaciones les da ni un lo siento, simplemente los mata porque si, nada mas.
    Ahora viene la parte del director, Neil Druckman es la persona mas egolatra que existe, pone un personaje en el juego que es igual a el que es super cachero, que puede estar con cualquier mujer, ademas que hay una referencia a el en una carta coleccionable del juego que le da 100 de inteligencia (siendo el caso deberia ser de 20 por las estupideces que hizo en el juego) ademas el mismo personaje del juego tiene el descaro de escupir el cadaver del personaje del juego que le dio todo lo que es ahora ademas de tener el descaro de SOBORNAR A TODOS LOS GAME AWARDS, lo cual lo digo porque es la unica razon para que se ganara el juego del año ademas de que en el premio de los elegidos por los JUGADORES lo gano ghost of tsushima, es la prueba mas grande de la preferencia de los jugadores por los juegos,
    Resumiendo todo esto solo jueguen hasta el final de la primera parte de ellie la cual es la única que vale la pena y hagan cuenta que todo lo demás que pasa en el juego no existe y listo HAPPY ENDING    … Expand

    Not much to say with so much already said and posted about this. Just another person who felt the first game was one of best you could play. The story, writing, graphics were all top notch. TLOU 2 is a high quality game but the writing and story was horrible. I’ll just leave it at that. I shouldn’t be surprised though.

    The graphics are amazing...
    The gameplay is over-the-top.
    But Jesus Christ... the story is just horrible....
    I get what they were trying to do, but it didn't work....
    The moment they gave me Abby as a playable character, I shut down the game and don't intend on ever touching it again.....

    worst story comparing to the first one nick Druckman destroyed everything good about the first one with his sick desires and forced it into the players even though he knows nobody except sick people well like it he expects us to ignore the sickness because the graphics are good I will give it one just for graphics.

    Naughty Dog really tried to go all deep on us with this one, but as it turns out they kinda accidentally **** the bed. 93 as a critic score is one of the most insane things I've ever seen, just wow.

Spoilers: Playing Abby for the Lev and Yara story line was a waste of time and waste of potential game play for Ellie for a different story line or even Joel. Abby fighting against her own team was bizarre and took me out of the TLOU world. I literally felt like I was playing a different game. Why are we killing humans more than the dead? And as Abby and for what? Abby killing her own team for two people she just meet is hypocritical. I do not care to experience this lesson as Abby. Once I got back to playing Ellie it was short and over... What happened to Ellie being a cure story line? TLOU2 story was not satisfactory in any way or a game you want to replay. Revenge stories leave too many plot holes and questions. This games story is a lesson of not what to do to characters and to literally burn bridges for story growth and potential.… Expand

    This game is like the Game of Thrones of games. Don't play it, it will disturb your memories of the prequel. The game shows you inconsistent characters in a messed up story. The worst example of this is the sex scene - you will know which. I will never forgive the person who wrote this piece of rubbish.

This game is great visually and naughty dog did well on the technical side of the game, but the story was awful. Not only did they destroy the main character from the first game in more ways than one, you play some she hulk for half the game. It’s fine they wanted to take a different direction in this game but could have done it in a better way. Big fan of the The Last of Us, but part two destroyed this franchise for me.… Expand

The game forces or tells you how to feel even though, in the given circumstances, it might not make sense.

Everything is perfect in this game, except the story... also that the fans were traped with wrong trailers is lame. Erveryone who loves the first game would understand me. However, I cannot even focus on the gameplay because there is an overwhelming push to MAKE SURE you know Ellie is now a lesbian. You can’t even properly mourn the death of one of the best characters we’ve seen in a game in years. Joel is killed early, which is fine because I get the strategy of killing off a beloved character, much like Ned in GOT. However, you then have to deal with lgbt-etc.-etc. propaganda shoved down your throat while just trying to enjoy a good game. I just got into Seattle and Ellie just had yet another “romantic” ordeal with her lesbian “groupie” and I’m seriously thinking about just quitting now. I absolutely do not care for their agenda that every TVs show, movie, and now game wants to try and force you to see as something that’s normal. It’s not. If it was normal it wouldn’t have to get pushed so hard into our faces every chance they get. So good job on ruining a good game. It’s disheartening because of how beloved the first was.     Great game ruined by horrible story and agenda push. This game has great graphics, decent game play, great acting and a story so bad that it ruins everything else. Characters are uninteresting and pretty much unlikable and you are forced to play those characters for tens of hours. I’ve had the feeling i was forced to go forward in a corridor, frustrated, because i can’t really make my own choices. It’s not an adventure, it’s an interactive    I’ve really enjoyed part one: sad but great. Bought the sequel without reading reviews, i didn't want to spoil it.

    Really can’t understand why this game has so many positive reviews, graphics isn't everything. So little time, so many great games to play.... move ahead for those who really deserve.

    Would be a clear 10 rating. But there are two things that annoy me MASSIVELY.. I **** HATE playing Flashbacks.. And the worst thing... Playing two characters in a game. I just want to play as ellie and the story should not have that much flashbacks. That ruins the game for me. Otherwise as is said 10/10

    Lastimável, essa é a palavra, um game que criou uma legião de fãs com a obra prima que foi o primeiro, decair tanto com essa sequencia.

    Graficamente a game é lindo (talvez o mais bonito do PS4), a física do game é disparado a mais avançada dos games que já vi (trabalho impecável), mas só.
    O ponto forte da franquia é a história e é nela que o game é um caos, lastimável!

While I could clearly see what the developers WANTED me to feel playing the game, the way they killed off Joel in the prologue after having me wait 7 years to play as him again made me disconnect completely with Ellie at times. While she was grappling with the horror of what she was doing I just found it annoying and surgically made sure I executed every single person on every single level as revenge for Joel. Without intending to I took months to finish the game, simply because I stopped giving a **** once the game swapped to Abbie and had to be coerced into playing more by my wife.

    Game is gorgeous on a technical level, easy 10/10 there but story poisoned the well from the very beginning. Did not immerse myself in Ellie and found it borderline annoying that she was being emotional about her revenge plot, having her spare Abbie was the straw for me, 1/10.

Its just a mess where the guy that wrote the plot just wanted to tick EVERY SINGLE thing on the political agenda list. Its just so sad to see such a prolific title with so many fans since the first game to destroy everything its predecesor just built. The rest of the game is a solid 8/10 with amazing music, graphics, enviroment, lighting, enviroment and pretty much anything else. Gameplay is fun and enjoyable even though the AI, with enemy people specifically, is not bad but not great either. So all in all the game without the story is a solid 8/10 to me but the story is so terrible that i give it a 3/10 at best.
    P.S. please FOR THE LOVE OF GOD just stop putting agendas and politics into games, i dont play games neither for those two, i play games for the fun and maybe to learn some things. OR AT LEAST if you gonna make a game about political correctness just do it right so atleast the plot makes sense.    … Expand

    In the first part, it was interesting for me to watch how Joel opens up to Ellie and their changing relationship, here the adventures of a lesbian who is not 1% sorry, not sorry for her ugly girlfriend, it's only a pity for Joel that he tore up his ass so much for this. And it's funny to watch only positive media reviews, because everyone is afraid to go against modern realities.

    Сюжет первой части работал, т.к. он был мне ближе. Были понятны мотивы и персонажи. Кроме того игра состояла не из одной чернухи, а скорее наоборот. Менялась от беспросветного ужаса к надежде на обретению нового смысла жизни. И вот честно, если в вашей жизни появится сын/дочь/племянник/младший брат/сестра, то сюжет сработает идеально.

    А вот во второй части нет ни одного персонажа, с которым я бы мог себя ассоциировать (ну почти). Возможно именно поэтому, за историей скучно наблюдать.
    Даже в название вынесено не просто цифра 2, а именно "Часть вторая". Но это совершенно не так.
    Скажу даже больше. Мне кажется, что невозможно быть фанатом двух частей одновременно, они противоположны по настроению и посылу.
    Можно к обеим частям относиться нейтрально, если сюжет вас не зацепит.

    А в целом в полку звездных войн, терминатора, охотников за привидениями и т.д. прибыло.
    Очередная франшиза вывернутая на изнанку в угоду прогрессивным идеям.
    Не покупайте это и не поддерживайте осквернителей своей валютой, если вам не понравились перечисленные выше продолжения некогда великих франшиз.

    Оценка моя безусловно абсолютно субъективна и в определённой степени отображает протест против вектора развития современных веяний.
    Но, потратив средства на данный продукт, я в праве высказываться о его качестве.

    1) Hats down to Sony and the studio for making the game so polished, was a breeze of fresh air for me as I played the game in 2021.

    2) Even though the combat wasn't completely different, there were new things and few innovations that felt good. But the combat was like 1% of the game time...

    3) After I switched to Abby and stopped enjoying the story, I've started to notice that I've was playing a scavenging simulator and that people apparently leave one or two bullets in the packaging. This was extremely repetitive and annoying. Also why do I break an axe after 3 - 5 hits? Or a sledgehammer?

    4) The world was ok, but I didn't notice it too much as I was looking for supplies. Also the constant rain was interesting...

    5) I replayed the first game many times, the story was wonderful. Here I will gracefully pass. Half of the game was completely useless, I knew what happened to those people and only thing what I got from those 12+ hours was scavenging supplies.

    I am not saying that the story doesn't have a message or a lesson, but in my opinion it shouldn't be told by a game.

    Neil Druckmann mentioned that the game will not be fun and he was right. It wasn't. I still paid the full price and I understand that the developers need to eat and are actually quite talented to be fair. Just that I don't see myself playing a game directed by Neil Druckmann anymore. Again, a talented guy, that deserves his salary 100%, but we disagree on what gaming should bring to people. Fun, enjoyment, fulfilment, stress release is much more preferred than hating myself for not stopping half way through...

    6) The enormous amount of close calls, scripted events, out of the world lucky situations for the main characters and those toy knives with 0 damage were also very annoying. The game was supposed to be played by adults, come on, do not insult our intelligence... If you want to lecture somebody, at least head out to donate blood and see what happens when you loose 450ml and act irresponsibly thereafter.

    7) I wasn't even able to max my stats or guns, also the time in combat where I could actually use them was extremely limited. I can try other guns or skills in a new game+ but I don't want to go through the story again, not to mention the constant scavenging.

    Based on the points above, I cannot rate the game high. A scavenging simulator with linear progress where I was punished for playing it. It felt more like an experiment.    … Expand
