    The story was incredibly disappointing, and full of filler. The new characters felt flat and the old ones felt out of place. It almost felt like a fanfic written by someone who hated the original game.

    The graphics were okay, but you’d have a better time taking a walk if you’re looking for interesting sights.     This game is an insult to everyone who fell in love with the first game. It looks great and the combat is really immersive. But that's about it. The story is absolutely terrible with plotholes the size of a skyscraper.

    I didn't buy TLOU2 for its gameplay because I knew it was going to be like part1. I expected great graphics and sound effects because its a AAA title. I expected great music because that was achieved in part1. I didnt buy TLOU2 for its gameplay I bought it for its fantastic story telling that I expected like we got from TLOU1.

    The story was what made part 1 so special and in part 2, well..... The story forces unlikable characters down my throat. The game introduces 2 new characters Owen and Abby. Abby kills Joel shoots him in the leg and uses a golf club. Ellie wants revenge
    THEN OWEN HAS SEX WITH ABBY???
    Owen is the brother of Joel THE SAME CHARACTER ABBY KILLED
    And there is more garbage but IM DONE! JUST WATCH THE STORY BUT DON'T BUY THE GAME.
    Im mad the story makes NO freaking sense and it destroyed the TLOU franchise
    It threw the story through the 4th floor window and panders to LGBTQ community. If I recall correctly a certain dev was saying how we shouldn't sexualize females in games and then turns right around and sexualized men. The hypocrisy is astounding.

    Horrible, this is a total waste of time. No actual good storytelling and a lot of nonsensical ideas around. So much in fact that it might show some mental deficiencies on the authors. This is why it is important to write down things that make sense and are coherent, the consequences if not might lead to be alike the authors of this blasphemy.

    Trash is the perfect word for the game. How is Neil and the cast saying ‘No one loves those characters more than us’ HUH? You completely disrespected the main characters. It’s not only a disappointment but it’s heartbreaking. Neil is a evil man.

    Ruined franchise by an almost unbelievable bad story. So much stuff to discuss in a post apocalyptic world and Naughty Dog chooses to focus on an empty and stupid vengeance cicle, sexuality, gender, abortion and weed. For the sake of this agenda, it even killed a very loved character in a very hateful way. After finishing the game, I wish I haven't played it to preserve just TLOU1 in my memory.

    WTF have I just witnessed. 10s across the board. On graphics wise it's atheistically beautiful with landscapes and terrain but on story and where it all counts this is daylight robbery for customers and a smack in the face to fans.

    IGN and other people should be ashamed. Name calling fans into buying the game. They are companies that offer nothing but terminological inexactatudes.

    The game is pure garbage in terms of story telling. I cant believe the amount of junk they dump on us through the entire game. I am really disappointed that i paid 60$ and waited 7 years to play this. Naughty Dog i hope you guys just stop making games.

    The MVP of this game is Tommy. It took me about 2 hours into the game until I completely lost interest and could no longer get invested but I decided to push myself to the end to find myself even more disappointed with the ending. I gave this game a 4 mostly because the game has some very good visuals with great attention to detail that's about it.

Tommy, Joel's brother, in TLOU2: Hi fellas our names are Tommy and Joel, we live nearby, do u wanna go hunting with us? Then Joel dies, and Ellie got mad, kills tons of zombies and humans for getting to Abby, then find and beat her, but has the minute and spare the woman. I don't think I have ever been so pissed at a game's story in my whole life. So basically a He Girl kills one of the most beloved protagonists in gaming history with a golf club, there's a sex scene that not even god would ask for, and an ending that says **** you, I don't care that I made you waste 25 hours of your life and made you feel like **** for something that happened when you were 2 hours in the game. I feel like I have been betrayed by ND like John Snow. Yes, I did love the graphics and I am extremely excited for the future games to have this kind of graphics. The gameplay was pretty good too. But goddamn, this story just made me do a 360 turn, bent me over and shoved all of its terriblenesses up my ass. Especially for a prequel to a game that made me cry 4 times. Literally 4 times! I can't believe how I got jebaited so hard. I mean, have you seen the people reacting to Joel's death? You can literally see the pain in their eyes. I don't even think that it's worth by brain energy to THINK about the paid reviews to be ND's only shield for this game. I would rate this game a -20 if I had the chance. The ending of this game is a joke! it's something to laugh about whenever you hear it. How the hell are you gonna spare the person who killed your father figure in front of you?

    Well if you made it here in my "review" that I'm sure every gamer is thinking about right now, then I want to actually give my true review, in less than 58 words.

    This game is nothing more than a time-waster and plays with your feelings like a fiddle. We were lied to by Neil and Naughty dog through the trailers, and they played with our emotions to see one of the most iconic duo in story gaming, Joel and Ellie. But cross out the Joel part with a golf club.

It seemed like it was going to be a game of the year contender... until the first 2 hours came and went and they killed off joel like an NPC. From that point on it went from GOTY contender to the worst game of the year. The story was incredibly dull and made absolutely no sense. Possibly the worst story I ever experienced. The ending was bitter sweet. Bitter because it was even worse than when they killed joel and sweet because it was thankfully over. Thank you naughty dog for giving us the worst gaming experience story wise in gaming history.… Expand

However when it came to last of us 2 it added nothing new for this game outside creating a controversy. The game spends the first two hour reminding how Ellie likes other girls and shows us a ton of intimate moments that adds nothing to the story or Ellie as a character outside of things we knew from 7 years ago.

    Then came the biggest middle finger when Joe, the main character of the first game, gets unceremoniously killed off and turned the game which was known for its story and it’s character development into a revenge story and Joe being relegated to your generic parent who kept secret from his kid and eventually die as a result of the secret. It was the character development between Joe and Ellie that made the first game’s story so interesting yet the game completely throws it away to tell a generic revenge story. Hope those woke points you got to guarantee a good review from critic is worth it because the improved graphic is the only other thing this game has to offer.    … Expand

К сожалению, в плане сюжета , все очень печально, почему то разработчиков потянуло совсем не в то русло, я как фанат первой части ,был поражен, как они просто уничтожили тех героев, которых ты всей душой полюбил. Esse segundo jogo te obrigam a controlar um personagem q vc odeia, e por mais q tentem te fazer se afeiçoar, não funciona e você quer que acabe logo. Em resumo, vc passa metade do jogo com raiva do jogo , pelo o que ele poderia ter sido e não foi simplesmente por que os roteiristas não entenderam o que fez sucesso no primeiro jogo e tomaram decisões burras no segundo... The game makes me feel bad for killing enemies constantly and then doubles down and makes you feel even worse when they try to humanize your enemy. It’s like they’re trying to give you ptsd.     Where to even begin with this dumpster fire.

    Basically, take everything epic about the first game, remember it vividly and get reminded of it constantly by Naughty Dog, and then throw it out the window because this game is nothing like its predecessor. I will be fair though, and say that the actual combat is just as good as it always was.

    It is a hollow shell of what it used to be, and you are constantly reminded of that and how Neil Druckman doesn't like the old vision of the game. I'm well over 30 hours in on an all nighter, and I'm struggling to find a reason to keep playing.

    Of course, there are the people that don't like the character of Abby for certain reasons, but that's not the most egregious offense. No, in fact, the worst offense is the fully motion captured sexual encounter between Abby and the game director's self-insert, comically named Dr. Uckman. I wonder who that could be. How this genuinely bad and unnecessary scene was allowed past the ESRB and put into the game, not even mentioning that it should be landing it an AO rating, is beyond me. It builds nothing character-wise, and as far as I've seen it's never brought back up. There was no story related reason that this should've been in the game, and I feel terrible for the parents that will inevitably watch their children playing this with horror in their eyes. Yes, the game is rated M, but do you really think parents aren't buying their young kids things like GTA or Call of Duty? If you think they aren't, you're very clearly disconnected from reality and you've never played a video game past its surface.

    Another thing that bothers me is the reviews by other companies. 10 out of 10 nearly across the board? These people obviously haven't played the game past the first hour or two, and their opinions shouldn't be considered if this affront to decency is ever nominated for any awards.

    As the biggest fan of the first game, I was extremely excited to play the sequel. For me, the first game was the greatest game in video game history. I expected this game to equal it, or even beat it, but sadly a poor choice of storyline has been horrifically executed, making this the biggest disappointment in gaming history instead. I would get a full refund if I could!

    Game play is good just about the same as the original. My only problem is killing a character just to kill a character and have no conclusion to his death. Dina would have been a much better character to kill and give Ellie a reason to avenge a death and spark a side story to allow you to play as Joel to go an try to stop her.    … Expand

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
