    Playing against the CPU is bound to lose its appeal eventually, which leaves Puyo Puyo Champion‘s local and online multiplayer modes being the main draw. But for not much more than the price of a couple of coffees, that shouldn’t be much of an issue.

    Puyo Puyo Champions offers familiar and fun competitive puzzle gameplay with a huge selection of delightful characters. That being said, the overall lack of substantial content and options makes it a somewhat limiting experience.

    So if you came from Dr Robotnik then you will be sorely disappointed by this masochistic game.

    I think the game can be enjoyable if you are really minded to learn and dominate the game.The game has some techniques and tatics that youI think the game can be enjoyable if you are really minded to learn and dominate the game.The game has some techniques and tatics that you have to learn or develop by yourself, essentials if you want to have a chance against your opponents in multiplayer. A good way to learn those techniques is by watching videos, getting tips and observing your opponents. If you like competitiveness and are the kind of guy that like simple good real time strategic games and are inclined to learn the game strengths, i personally recommend you to give this game a shot.
    I can mention as positives: Good sound effects for both japanese (which is know by puyo puyo e-Sports) and north american versions, trophy progress tracking, and visually agreeable characters.    … Full Review »
