    Absolute classic and perfect field for creativity. Never gets boring, even after years of regular playing. However, console versions (I played on PS4 and PS Vita) are really stripped of its content and not so pleasant to play. This game is the only case when I prefer playing on PC, especially if you like to build large and more complicated projects. It’s a good game don’t get me wrong but after you play more it bores you like oh I got diamonds okay what next oh defeat the enter dragon what next ? And it will keep going until nothing it’s like the vass speech in far cry 3 were you’ll do the same thing even though it won’t progress the story like doing everything is pointless because there’s a point in Minecraft that you’ll have everything. yes I have so much love for this game but that love comes with boredom and just pointlessly getting resources I wish to discuss more about how Minecraft has been teaching you about life but no one would listen and understand.     Minecraft in general is a good game but not a game i'll keep coming back to. After awhile the game can be a bit boring sometimes and I think this game is best to be played with friends. It's a totally different experience with friends imo.

    Minecraft me encanta y lo considero un juego realmente destacable pero no puedo pasar sus errores en esta edición, hay demasiados bugs de rendimiento, visuales, etc... Bajadas de fps absurdas son unas de mis mayores molestias ya que es un juego ligero y que a pesar de eso aveces va a menos de 30 fps rozando los 20 en lugares específicos, aun así ignorando esos errores, es muy disfrutableMinecraft me encanta y lo considero un juego realmente destacable pero no puedo pasar sus errores en esta edición, hay demasiados bugs de rendimiento, visuales, etc...     There are only a few reasons to buy this game on new gen consoles:
    1: You've never played Minecraft but can't play on a computer (or prefer not to).
    2: All your friends have it and you want to play with them. 3: The arguably minor improvements over last gen (The Touchpad controls are a nice touch, pun intended). 4: You want to port over a saved world from the PS3. 5: You're addicted.    There are only a few reasons to buy this game on new gen consoles:
    1: You've never played Minecraft but can't play on a computer (or prefer not to).
    2: All your friends have it and you want to play with them.
    3: The arguably minor improvements over last gen (The Touchpad controls are a nice touch, pun intended).
    4: You want to port over a saved world from the PS3.
    5: You're addicted.

    Know this, as of release content is identical to the previous gen console versions (No horses, no hoppers, no mesas, etc.) with the addition of bigger worlds, longer draw distance, and 60 frames per second. While updates have been promised (duh, it's Minecraft) be wary that Microsoft purchased the rights to this game so PS4 users may get screwed.

    However, Minecraft in general does deserve to be scored an 8 or above because there truly is nothing else like it (except for the clones). Minecraft is also polarizing and some people may be turned off by it's blocky and ugly graphics and lack of modern game features players have come to expect (plot, voice-acting, etc.). I however love the game and I have spent hundreds of hours on previous generation consoles building everything from castles, to hedge mazes, to roller coasters, and sprawling towns. And now, unfortunately, I feel like I've seen and done it all in any console version of Minecraft.

    So I can't in good conscience tell anyone to buy this game if they already have it for last gen consoles. As is, with the amount of fans and the money earned, 4J Studios (who recodes and ports the PC version of the game developed by Mojang) are going painfully slow now and I can't help but get the feeling that they won't stop milking this cash cow and continue to over-promise and under-deliver while still being way behind it's PC forerunner.    … Expand

    While on ps3 it looks decent, in ps4, it looks amazing, and thats literally all thats Amazing in this ps4 edition of minecraft.
    The controls are not very well made, this game should let people make their control scheme, instead of the default and the other control scheme.

    Its disappointing that minecraft has just made the graphics better and change nothing else.

    Played Mincraft on PS4, not the biggest fan but honestly very diverse in its way, and it might grow on you if you the type that likes to just switch on the console and relax.

    Doesn't matter what platform, its an acquired taste.

    Moviminetos mucho mas lentos y en general es mucho mas limitado que en PC.
    Multijugador entretenido.
    Las pocas cosas extra que puedes poner como skins son de pago y no puedes poner mods en el juego.

    Creative mode i never really touched. The rest of the game is build stuff and survive stuff. Combat and general gameplay is ultra basic.     Minecraft looks retro pixel and blocky and VR makes every game look more pixelated. So Minecraft looking so basic in general graphical wise works well when using the visual VR downgrade. As in it all looks bad in regular mode or VR mode. After trying several different VR games the motion sickness has finally gone. Still with all that plastic and rubber on the head? Head overheat happens pretty quicky. Yeah even when using a massive floor fan to try and counter it. Maybe I need to use PS/VR in the winter or something?    … Expand

    Ставлю 6, потому что игру обновили до БЕДРОК версии и ввели новую игровую валюту вместо minecoinsов, что существенно повлияло на цену наборов, миксов и т.д. ввели какую то хрень.     The PS4 version of Minecraft feels like a subpar product when comparing it against the PC version. The controls were not redesigned for PS4. The current version does not support Realms after all these years. I love this game, but I rather play it on PC instead.

    Die unendliche generierte Spielwelt ist auf der PS4 endlich. Die Steuerung ist auch eher nervig, als dass sie gut funktioniert. Dennoch kann ein unbegrenztes kreatives Potenzial seitens der Spieler*innen hervorgerufen werden. Minecraft ist einfach Minecraft (6/10).

    Typical minecraft same as the computer almost, but it is frustrating to connect to otherworlds, and they made it so that you can't actually join a world, you have to download the map from the internet and then join it, seems like extra hassle.

    I want to start out by saying I love Minecraft, a lot, but if you want to play Minecraft the way it should be played there is really no other way to play than on a computer. The PS4 edition is very poor. The button mapping, and controller use in a game like this leaves a lot to be desired, and isn't anything I want to spend time in.     Molto inferiore alla Java (edizione di Minecraft per PC), versione martoriata da bug ed estremamente più noiosa per via della legnosita dei comandi, dopo 20 minuti ti è già passata la voglia di giocare.

    If you like farmville on face book you might be into this - i cant see how soo many people love this , it take soo much time to do anything and very little reward. i can only guess it looks so bad that most critics and gamers stare clear of it - leaving it open only for reviews by people that love this type of game.

    This game is extremely mediocre and very disappointing There is no mods and servers in this version! Its packed with bugs and glitches! But this is my first experience of minecraft ever. Why i put it on 2? Because This is one of the very disappointing versions of minecraft ever!

    Same boring, stupid game. 18,99 is a pure rip-off, since you can get the same game on PC for free with better controls, mods, free texture packs, ...

    Running is extremely buggy
    Horrible map generation
    Trees still don't fall if you chop down the bottom block, which is stupid (Timber Mod FTW)
    No custom controls
    Outdated PC version

    Not worth the money.

    Trying to understand what purpose a game of this size into a powerful platform like Xone or PS4 ? I see only hum opportunism of producers in getting Large Financial Profits at the expense of public hum maybe confused.
    - My note would be different if this game sold one Fosse Behind 15 years .

And the game play is horrible compared to what you can do with a PC. Trust me, keep this out of the console. There are way better games out there to play on your PS4.     Since Microsoft bought Mojang, this game is becoming worse and worse. I was a fan of Minecraft, but now, with the bedrock edition, they have changed some things badly, added enoying things, etc. You can't even pause the game in single player. Such a shame.

    Good if I want to play alone. But if I want to play cross-platform then it’s just as bad as Donald Dump himself. I’ve had to connect my account FOUR TIMES. Deleted Minecraft THREE TIMES and had to wait THREE HOURS for the update file EACH TIME just so my Microsoft account would connect again. The fact that I haven’t destroyed the disc yet is an obvious miracle. Waste of my time if I wantedGood if I want to play alone.     Such a shame it went to Microsoft. Wanted a refund for an in-game purchase as the coins bought did not come up in my account. After two months of emailing they now decided to just ignore me. Really do not care about their players
