    This is an absolute masterpiece in every way the word “masterpiece” could possible posses. Phenomenal in every way, shape, and form. From start to finish it’s an absolute blessing and worth every penny even if sold at $1000. I really wish they’d do a PS5 version of the game soon. I would die to play it again even at double the price mentioned above.

    Este es el mejor videojuego que he podido jugar en toda mi vida.
    Los escenarios hermosos, me encanta como la serpiente sube y el agua del mar baja para poder explorar nuevos lugares ocultos, como siempre tenes que volver atras a lugares en los que ya estuviste para poder descubrir nuevas cosas usando el cincel etc..
    Los enemigos son espectaculares, muy buena variedad y un sistema de    Este es el mejor videojuego que he podido jugar en toda mi vida.

    Los enemigos son espectaculares, muy buena variedad y un sistema de combate en el que no tenemos que spammear los botones, si no que es mas extenso ya que cuenta con muchos ataques, talismanes, magia para Atreus, etc. El hacha y las espadas son una combinacion perfecta.
    La historia principal es sumamente buena, muy bien narrada.
    La banda sonora es muy buena, muy al estilo nordico.
    Los personajes son de lo mejor, Kratos, un personaje serio con Atreus, un personaje lleno de dudas y algo infantil junto a Mimir, quien les cuenta todas sus dudas, hacen un buen equipo. Los enanos, Freya, Baldur, Magni y Modi. Todos muy buenos personajes.
    El mapa es extenso, por si queres explorar mas alla de la historia principal tenes todo un mundo por descubrir, muy bien logrado el mapa.
    Las voces en español latino suenan bastante bien, en ingles es excelente.
    Los graficos son de lo mejor que hay en PS4 ahora mismo, si te subis a la montaña mas alta de midgard vas a poder ver el lago y hasta a la serpiente, y viceversa.
    Mientras jugas, Mimir va a ir reforzando la convivencia entre los personajes contando historias que Atreus registrara en el libro, etc.
    Las valkirias podrian haber sido un DLC pero fueron incluidas en el juego original, muy bien hecho por parte de Santa Monica.
    Por todas esas razones yo a este juego le doy un 10/10    … Expand

    I played this game about one year ago and this game changed how I value video games. Before this game, I didn't care about anything other than graphics, literally if the game has bad graphics I wouldn't play it. This game showed me what story and gameplay are. If you like RPG games I highly recommend this game.

    Never played God of War before. Big lover of Scandinavian mythology, so, when i saw a video-memes about this game i purchased this game in ps store. So, what i got? At first, game seemed to be boring and monotonous. But after an hour it turned me into 12 years old boy who cant break away from the monitor. Story, gameplay, setting. All of that was amazing. Cant wait for sequel.

    One of the best games I've played in my life. Fighting mechanics, graphics, storytelling etc everything is great. It only has 2 issues for me, one of which is the lack of Quicktime events and the lack of boss battles in older games.

    A game that somehow manages to balance spectacle and a personal story of father and son. With every mechanic in this game except for fast travel and upgrading systems being so polished, it is infinitely replayable. Perfection.

    I don't see why anyone would hate on this game. Characters and their development are amazing, combat is amazing, story is amazing. It feels rewarding when you become a better player, side quests related to the world and the norse mythology and outstanding graphics and music.

    Truly a masterpiece for any god of war fan or really most people in general it's hard not to love this game the character development in God of War is so much better than we've ever seen in previous titles I was completely captivated by the story the entire time I played and couldn't put it down until I got the platinum.
    I cant wait for the sequel

    God of War excel in every aspect.
    The story was great and emotional. The soundtrack and sound effect can turn cat into tiger. Combat was excellent. Graphic and animation is beautiful. All VA doing a good job.
    All of that combine make you immerse into Kratos journey into Norse mythology world.
    My only gripe is this game need more enemy variation for how big the game is

    Been a fan of this franchise since I was a kid, but i would've loved this game even if i wasn't. Except from the fact that people do not need to play the previous games to understand the story(although i would recommend playing them), it has an outstanding story, touching real life problems such as loss, anger issues and a father trying to bond with his kid.     I never played any of the previous GoW. I quickly watched a story recap of the other games and boy this game was amazing. Visuals, story and combat were fantastic. Was gutted to finish the game and cant wait for ragnarok. I hope they dont rush is and make it as great as this

Before this game came out the God of War series was a hack and slash franchise with a mediocre story but always lived up to the excitement with its gameplay and bosses. I can’t begin to tell you how excited I was to play this game because everything about it was nothing short of great. Before this game came out the God of War series was a hack and slash franchise with a mediocre story but always lived up to the excitement with its gameplay and bosses. That all changes with this, the game is a simi open world but there are still plenty of things to do. Kratos now has a son and they work so well together from the moment you meet Kratos and Atreus. The camera is behind Kratos this time and he doesn’t use the Blades of Chaos he uses the Leviathan Axe or Stormbreaker. Using the axe has to be one of the best video game weapons I have ever used, taking off your back and throwing it off a mountain then calling it back to slice a enemy’s head off amazing. Christopher Judge does a phenomenal job he just has that deep voice that really gets under your skin. On top of that we have fantastic music as well to set up the tone of fighting huge dragons to human monster hybrids. The developers went all out and gave us a story that is a first for the series amazing, on top of that it’s all shot in one take. You can go from killing a enemy and all of a sudden it’s a cutscene, unless you die there are no edits to this game and it makes the story have more of an impact on you. I can’t recommend this game enough if you have a PS4 get it because now it’s like 10 bucks.… Expand

    Heard the praise and when I got to playing it I was not disappointed. This quickly became one of my favourite games; the mixture cinematic emotionful story telling and engaging gameplay was perfect for me to be fully invested and be entertained till the very end.

    For me by all means the GOTY of 2018 on PS4, the release on PC made me come back to this game reminding me of the fun i had with it, its just hands down, top 5 of my favorite games

    Old God Of War games had a good gameplay and story. So they loved by people. But this game changed mostly things from old games for example gameplay, character design, story telling etc. And this game did all of this things better, and became legend.     I did't play previous GoW and still the plot was so absorbing and interesting that I've finshed most of the additional quest, just to get to know the history better. Fantastic creations. Additional plus for my dubbing which was incredible as original voices. I'm waiting for more games like this.

    God of War is a near perfect game to me and I love every element that this game has to offer.

    The story is a fantastic, deep, layered story that is so entertaining to watch. Every cutscene added to the story in a way that made me want to play for hours at a time. The combat is so extremely smooth. If gives a challenge, while also is rewarding. They world is so beautifully designed. I    God of War is a near perfect game to me and I love every element that this game has to offer.

    The combat is so extremely smooth. If gives a challenge, while also is rewarding.

    They world is so beautifully designed. I found myself looking in every corner of this world just to see more. It is an open world, but has a extremely easy to follow scheme to complete the main story or side quests at your own pace.

    Upgrading weapons is so extremely satisfying to me. It is a very rewarding experience. When upgrading weapons, there is a noticeable difference when fighting the same enemies.

    Many more elements to this game made me absolutely in love with it. I cannot wait for the sequel. I recommend this game to just about anyone that can handle a little blood and gore from defeating enemies.    … Expand

    same level as uncharted 4, this is my favourite game of playstation exclusives and also in all ps4 games.
    This game is my firts entry in GOW series & I love every aspects of this game.
    characters & wolrd & mythology is just best.
    combat & gameplay is fun & entertaining & heavy which is good for a GOW game.

I like that it changes the gameplay and doesn t go with the same old formula, while still maintaining to deliever fan service for the og's. The story is very well written, it has many twist and turns, his relationship with atreus has some tension at moments. The gameplay isGod of war really shows how a video game series can totally revamp their gameplay and end up being even better. I like that it changes the gameplay and doesn t go with the same old formula, while still maintaining to deliever fan service for the og's. The story is very well written, it has many twist and turns, his relationship with atreus has some tension at moments. The gameplay is really satisfying, personally this one my favorite combat in a video game ever, it s pretty challenging while also being pretty complex and cinematic. The only bad thing is after the stranger boss it doesn t really escalate in terms of epicness, but nonetheless they re still better than many other boss fights in games.     Great characters with interesting personalities and quirks, amazing world building, amazing story, the gameplay wasn't the best ever but it was still good. I think the norse mythology is what really sells it for me, the story keeps you on your toes from start to finnish, truly amazing.

    Best game of the last 4 years. The beautiful storyline and fantastic storytelling are just as violent as the old chapters and new mythology. The best, I love this game.

After the hype I gave this one a try and oh boy: it delivered. The whole story including his son, wife and the origins of them was amazing. The combat was challenging but not to difficult and the side quests as well as characters just mind blowing. Looking forward to part II.… Expand

    An Incredible tale of Father and Son.
    Kratos is a mature and developed character with his own motives, and Atreus is a fantastic sidekick with some depth that really enhances the story of the game.
    I love how they changed the gameplay from the previous games, it feels more realistic and grounded, while keeping the amount of action a God of War games needs. The environment looks    An Incredible tale of Father and Son.

    I love how they changed the gameplay from the previous games, it feels more realistic and grounded, while keeping the amount of action a God of War games needs.

    The environment looks fantastic, so many areas to explore and secrets to find, unlocking new equipment or upgrading weapons feels very rewarding.
    The game also has backtracking, so you can always go back and find new things, and even a mini open world map where you can travel to all the realms you've unlocked and explore every last corner.

    There's a good amount of side content such as side quests and challenges aswell, you can put many hours in this game and you'll still want more, it's honestly a very enjoyable game.

    The puzzles are okay, nothing groundbreaking but serviceable, although I wish there was more variety, many of them are the same puzzle with some minor differences.

    There is so much potential for the sequel to be even better since this game sometimes feels limited, such as the re-skinned boss fights, or the lack of realms you can visit.
    There are few sections near the end where the game drags quite a bit, and it feels like unnecessary filler but nothing to worry about, it doesn't ruin the overall experience at all.

    For me this is one of the most important First Party Sony games of the PlayStation 4 generation, a videogame that everyone needs to play at least once, absolutely remarkable.

    This was my first God of War game and it surprised me how amazing it is. The game's presentation is simply amazing, sound and voice acting is on point, and animations are fantastic. The combat is very fun, often challenging, and I really liked how you control both characters during combat. It's among the best games I've ever played.
