    Really enjoyed playing it love the new reboot the contact is good it’s beautiful Norse mythology they nailed it the story is what really mattered to me and it was fantastic I do recommend playing on hard to give combat more then just button mash good gameplay good story one of my favorite ps4 games

    Probably the best PS4 exclusive I've ever played, it's been a long time since God of War 3, and it feels so fresh to see how different the game looks like, combat is so comfortable and really cool when doing combos, the puzzles are really well done, but my favorite part of all are the bosses, specially the Valkarye boss fights, really difficult yet so good

    'God of War' may well be the most accomlished game I have ever played, even though it doesn't necessarily do a lot to revolutionise the genre. However, it does mark a notbale shift from the previous 'God of War' games and it gets absolutely everything right. What a brilliant game this is. Hats off to Santa Monica Studios.

    id give this game a **** 20 out of 10 on this scale. the game is the definition of damn near perfect. Kratos and son go on this EPIC journey. im aaaaall the way in. the only thing i had a problem with was the lack of variety of bosses. story is epic, all characters are memorable and fun. buy this game. well worth any price.

    I have been a gamer for 35 years. The God of War series has always been one of my favorites but this game is my favorite game ever. I love it so much I platinumed it and I’m playing through it on give me gow ng+. Barlog and the entire team did an absolutely outstanding job. I can’t wait to see what comes next!

    Wow didn't expect to love it this much! Avoided playing it for very long thinking it wasn't my type because I don't prefer fantasy but boooy I absolutely love this game. They managed to make it in a way so that all gamers love it. Great job!

Серьезно, я даже нашел альбом и слушаю его иногда. И ту атмосферу, когда ты проходишь эту игру, не передать словами. В это нужно именно поиграть.Это одна из моих любимых игр. It took me about 20 or so hours to beat, and once you’re done you still have the option to take on many side quests, find collectibles, scavenge for more items and upgrades. The game has a surprising depth to its many usable gear, armor, perks, stat boosts, just about everything you could expect. God of War comes with many features you’d expect in a game of its caliber. It’s got the usual new game + for second playthroughs, a ton of menus for seeing any extra miscellaneous items, difficulty settings, and so on and so forth. I love everything there is to love about God of War, and I would consider this to be one of the best experiences I’ve had in all my many years of playing video games. I would highly recommend anyone who likes games in general to go and play this masterpiece right now.

    Simplemente majestuoso, con el simple hecho de haber logrado cambiar por completo la dinámica del combate de los Gow anteriores merece esta puntuación, no exagero al decir que esto se puede notar simplemente al usar el arma principal (hacha leviathan) la sensación que da de que pueda ir y volver es única, sumando a muchísimos movimientos y combos que se abren con esta, la historia es másSimplemente majestuoso, con el simple hecho de haber logrado cambiar por completo la dinámica del combate de los Gow anteriores merece esta puntuación, no exagero al decir que esto se puede notar simplemente al usar el arma principal (hacha leviathan) la sensación que da de que pueda ir y volver es única, sumando a muchísimos movimientos y combos que se abren con esta, la historia es más profunda y nos da a entender que el personaje (Kratos) está cambiando, ha crecido y nosotros también, ya no es una matanza sin freno de monstruos, ahora lo motivación no es la venganza, pero eso no quita la única forma en la que Kratos sabe pelear, sigue siendo sangriento, sigue siendo excesivo, al final sigue siendo Kratos, pero con un papel muy distintos del que tenía en los anteriores juegos… Expand

    Never got around to rating this game but it goes without saying it's outstanding. Just replayed it again and it still manages to be exceptional even in 2021. I can't wait for ragnarok, and if you haven't played this game, you are truly missing out. The combat, scenery, story and atmosphere are top notch. I wasn't much of a fan of the earlier entries, but this one knocked it out of the park.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. O jogo é incrível, a Santa mônica arriscou muito com a nova mecânica de gameplay e acertaram em cheio. gostei bastante da inovação em tudo.

    A reformulação em gameplay e narrativa precisava ser mudada, não dava pra continuar a ser como o velho God Of war que saia com as blades of chaos matando geral em uma sequencia de combos que se tornava repetitivo em certo ponto ( não estou dizendo que é ruim, longe disso, mas quero dizer que mais um jogo ser mais do mesmo, que foi no GOW 1 2 e 3 não ia dar, podemos ver com o God Of War ascension, que foi mais do mesmo e acabou sendo esquecido, ficou saturado a mesma formula de gameplay ao meu ver), sei que trouxeram as blades no meio pro fim do jogo (essa parte me arrepia até hoje kkkk) mas a gameplay com elas nesse novo GOW da pra sentir que houve um carinho especial em refazer os golpes, eu diria que foi um Remake dos golpes que vimos nos outros titulos da serie, o que dava a sensação de ser uma arma completamente nova de se jogar.

    A historia, eu gostei bastante, a narrativa é muito boa.
    Os gráficos são incriveis.
    O áudio é incrivel também, a trilha sonora torna a gameplay mais imersiva, eu gostei muito dela.

    This is an amazing linear story based computer game. one for which the future of these types of games will now be compared against. The relationship between Kratos and the "boy" was forever expanding and developing throughout the game.     The puzzles are interesting and all seemingly have a purpose and meaning to them and are not just pointless time stretching parts of gameplay. The fighting mechanics are some of the best I have ever used, and the Axe has to be one of the most satisfying in game weapons I have ever had the luxury of using, every movement felt real, felt as though i could feel the weight of the attack.

    The world around you is beautiful (played on PS5 remastered version), which will make you stop to just look around and take a breath.

    I prefer linear based story driven games and for me this is now up there with what all games going forward will endeavour to be like.    … Expand

    One of the best games i've ever played for sure. Great story, graphics, combat and a beautiful soundtrack. The game can give you some valuable wisdom, Kratos is teaching his son Arteus how to become a man and you can learn a lot by listening to their dialogues.
    I must say some of the puzzles are hard and can take some time but they're also rewarding.

    Absolutely amazing, a mature and well told story, great graphics and combat, can't really fault it. Very different to the earlier God of Wars which seems to be the reason for the few bad reviews, but I felt it was a change for the better.

The graphics might just be the best in the industry right now, even upon the release of the new ps5 God Of War is still unmatched in graphics.     Well, the story is really good even if it's padded out at times, the twists made it very enjoyable to go through and the single-cut camera is spectacular!

    The amount of content is adequate for a linear game, there are some side-quests to do, Valkyries to slay and realms to explore.
    Also, the music and the audio design are incredible!
    Unfortunately, the boss fights disappointed me a bit; some of them are nice but most of them are re-skinned mini bosses.

    + Impressive cinematography
    + Compelling characters
    + Gorgeous visuals
