    The visuals, combat, exploration and music is some of the best I have ever seen in a game. The fact that it's in the samurai period is icing on the cake. This is one of my favourite games of all time and I really hope for a sequel or something similar from Suckerpunch.

    This is the best game I played this Jan 2020 until now. At first I thought this game is like AC games but no. For me the story is great and the graphics too. I think this game can be a candidate on the game of the year. It is a must play game.

    Sucker Punch won my heart with the original infamous and since then all their games keep improving on the previous one. They took a long time to release another ps4 titles but the wait was worth it. The story is amazing and it reminds me of classic japanese cinema, the music is very immersive and memorable, the graphics are mind blowing and photo mode is like a dream come true. the combatSucker Punch won my heart with the original infamous and since then all their games keep improving on the previous one. Sadly ultra left progressive reviewers bombed this game with 60s and 70s when that is far from the rating it deserves all because it doesn't have thar ultra diverse marginalized cast they always beg for. People need to get off their high horse of virtue signaling and allow people to enjoy games for what they are ENTERTAINMENT NOT POLITICAL STATEMENTS.… Expand

    if you ignore the camera and the no enemy's lock this game is one unique experience in all elements , graphics , sounds , main story , side missions and the irony for the side missions you can compair it as a Main Mission. and also get this game one huge slap in tlou2 face

    I went into this game expecting nothing, I liked the idea at first but then when I played it I found out how masterful it is. I wasn’t expecting this game to be my surprise gaming addiction but now I can’t put the controller down, I must play this game everyday.     Incredibly beautiful world, great combat and good story. The characters could’ve used a bit more emotion but the end result was worth it. From area to area I caught myself stopping to look at the small details in this gorgeous setting. The side missions were even good.     This game is amazing. Sure, the climbing can be clunky at times, but dear lord, this game was everything I wanted, the story is pretty top-notch, but the combat is incredible. I cannot stress this enough, I finished the game just to fight some Mongols. This game was our savior after a very underwhelming Last of Us Part 2. The image is incredible, playing this blind is also highlyThis game is amazing.     After having played the game for 40 hours so far (Post game currently) the game is very fun, its like assassin's creed but its been way more fun than any of the assassin's creed games in the last couple of years, overall 10/10

    Every bit as great as Breath of the Wild and God of War! One of the best game purchases I’ve made, this game is so good. I can’t wait to get back playing it after I put it down, the game really draws you in. I love that you can rest and relax in some of the most beautiful gaming environments ever created. I also really appreciate that you can choose stealth or open combat in most situations. Both systems are fantastic and rewarding. I hope we get a sequel and I hope Sucker Punch doesn’t change up the mechanics too much. This game really balances what I want out of a game, which is some customization (not too much like Nioh), fantastic World building (1st in its class), fun and exciting combat (like God of War), and a continuation of the realistic Samurai experience without otherworldly creatures.

    My top 3 all time game list - 1.Breath of the Wild 2.God of War 3.Ghosts of Tsushima

    Overall an incredible achievement for an open world game. Good story, great cast of side characters, very good combat mechanics, amazing progression system, deep cosmetic customization with micro transactions.
    The wanted to create a game honoring the samurai movies of old and they basically created a playable one. Perfect realization of an artistic vision.

    It is probably more a 9/10 than a 10/10, but unfortunately the people that can´t accept that this game is better than Tlou2 have started their review bombing. So I´ll add that point just to counter that.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is the first time I have come into contact with the work of suckerpunch. This work was created by a Western company based on the motive of another country, but it is surprisingly well understood and well described. Due to the characteristics of the subject matter of this work, it inevitably contains beautification of samurai, but I personally don't think it's a big problem because it also clearly describes the part of alternative history, or rather degrades it. As for the action, it's perfectly designed. I think it is a very good judgment that Parry created a special attack by enemies that cannot be prevented in several stages so that it is not a universal measure. It's a big disappointment that there's no additional content or newgame+, but it's a great masterpiece that ended the twilight of PS4.… Expand

    I cant believe we get to play the most remarkable and gorgeous graphics this generation has seen on the PS4. Best game since the witcher 3 hands down

    In my time, I read a lot of books about the code of the samurai, the setting I really liked and satisfied my expectations. Yes, perhaps the gameplay is repetitive, but the visual, atmosphere and everything they did to immerse themselves in this world, deserves respect.

    With stunning visuals, great combat and a story/side missions worth playing for I have to give this title a 10/10. Absolute masterpiece by Sucker Punch with only minor flaws. Absolute banger to end the generation with and I can't wait to see what's next from them on PS5.

    The best samurai game in a long time and a great fun for all, who love action. Love for Japan and its history is a big plus, but its knowledge is not necessary to enjoy every minute of this beautiful game. [Issue#305]

    Ghost of Tsushima is a flawed, but fun, game. While the gameplay itself was solid, and the story was decent, I definitely expected a lot more from Sony’s final PlayStation 4 exclusive. It had enough to keep me hooked, but lacked the polish we’ve all grown to love from a Sony first party game.

    Ultimately, it feels like the game could have benefited from a smaller scope or a more linear structure. Focus on the duels could have created a more engrossing product, especially if it honed in on the narrative for a more concise and cinematic experience. But as it stands, Ghost of Tsushima is another AAA open world title and doesn’t seek to define itself as anything other than that.
