    Offers nothing new gameplay wise and the story just wasn't that interesting. Also it got repetitive and stale very quickly. Nice graphics though. Imo wait for a sale. Cant recommend.

    Un juego que prometió mucho y a la hora de comprarlo y probarlo fue una gran desilusión, un juego más del montón.
    Si quieres jugar un juego de samurai mejor ve a comprar el sekiro.

    I can’t believe how can one give 100 or 10 to Ghost of Tsushima. Graphics look like a PS3 game, facial expressions are not that good and the game has evident technical problems (with slow downs and other issues). The atmosphere is good, OK, but that’s absolutely not enough. It plays and looks like any FarCry game, but with a Samurai approach. Reviewers are not being objective, because oneI can’t believe how can one give 100 or 10 to Ghost of Tsushima. Graphics look like a PS3 game, facial expressions are not that good and the game has evident technical problems (with slow downs and other issues).     Very, very disappointed. Game looks great but it has loads of filler and the story and writing is poor imo. Combat is very easy and gets old quickly. Camera angle is very clunky. Game feels very dated, if it came out 5 years ago I think it would have been received much better. Disappointed.

    Game is boring as hell. I have played all AAA PS4 games, I think this is the worst of all. BORING is the word that express what this game is. All you do is walk, run, run with the horse, boring story and dialogues, only the first hour of the game is good, like Horizon Zero Dawn, another game I hated. The only good in this game are the art direction and landscapes, very beautiful. IGame is boring as hell. I have played all AAA PS4 games, I think this is the worst of all.     The game was ok, but not worth 60 bucks. 20 at max. The game looks really sad and the combat was horrible. The graphics are bad too. The only good thing about this game was.... probably the map but that doesn’t matter. Overall game is bad. I can’t put a 1 or I’ll probably get banned

The vistas and landscape were beautiful, but the minuses severely detracted from the game for me. The creators tried to ape the feel of Kurosawa without understanding the spirit that made his movies great. Additionally the creators Wade into a battle of ahistorical Japanese nationalism without understanding the greater context. A shallow, albeit beautiful, game that does not possess the depth it thinks it does.… Expand

Ghost of Tsushima was supposed to be an action platform with a Japanese-like killer storyline... In fact, the delivery was pretty bad. The graphics are good but plagued by horrible motion-blur that just look bad on PS4. Character needs to be in center of the screen or slightly left, NOT completely out of center. Overall, it's overhyped game. I didn't like it and i almost feel that i wasted my money.     I have played nothing else but Tushima for a while, I'm starting the third act because I like doing everything a game has to offer, including the incredibly boring side quests this game has to offer hoping one of them will surprise me. But here we have to talk about tsushima, I don't even care to type its full name because it is not a full game.

    Story is so bland it could have probably been compressed to some kind of black mirror episode and it still would have been pretty boring, the characters have nothing to offer, no believable performances from any of them, and the bad animation does not help either. I get that the story is supposed to be basted on what happened, on reality, but MAN talk about bad execution, and there are too many elements that make this game so irrational in its own universe that I was mostly disappointingly laughing at it. there are a couple of scenes here and there that are acceptable, but honestly, killing a dog in TLoU2 was more shocking than any of those scenes.

    I have no idea how anyone can praise this games graphics, they are at best comparable to The witcher 3 that came out 5 years ago and even then it would lose. It does have some pretty scenery and that's about the best thing of the game, but it is greatly overshadowed by the emptiness of it all

    This game is with no doubt the most disappointing game I have ever bought, and I bought superman 64 as a kid, how this game is 9.3 at this point is simply unbelievable, even an 7 seems to much for this game, I wish I could have a refund of my money and time spent on it    … Expand

    It was a mistake buying this game. It is full of bugs, NPC's IA really bad... the only good thing about this game is that the island is beautiful... but the game is just bad. Stealth does not work either and the story is boring.

    So I played the intro section and a few minutes more and I was bored. Really bored. I just got an old Monster Hunter a few days ago and it was more entertaining in 5 minutes than this was in an hour.     The game felt like a film with button presses and sluggish action. Now I can deal with this type of thing, I really enjoyed Beyond Two Souls but the character, this Jin guy, I didn't want to be him, he was so (and I know I'm repeating this word) boring. I just wanted him to get killed off. I love Samurai, I love Japanese things and this is a stunning game but that is it. This Jin guy was like an annoying little millennial **** of a Samurai. There is honour and there is being a bell end. There is a fine line and he crossed it. Jumped up and down on that line.

    GoT is a bit like pulling a model on a night out and getting her home to find out the beef curtains be smelling more like a 2 week old tuna butty than a prime cut.

    As if the immersion of being in the shoes of a character I wanted to punch wasn't game breaking enough. The PS4 started up its propeller every 30 seconds, sounding like it was ready to launch a NASA rocket.

    So if you want a historical Asian style game with good action and stunning graphics. Personally, for me, Gujian 3 is way better.

    I give a point for the bloody brilliant graphics.

    -9 for bad characters, story, gameplay and making my PS4 fan work it's ticket to the extreme. I don't really remember the sound being good, or bad. I'm guessing it was probably just OK. Maybe I just couldn't hear it over the frigging fan that was only recently dismantled and cleaned out.    … Expand

Questing almost become a chore as you do the usual take over a village then siege rinse repeat.. easily forgotten charters and how poorly stealth is incorporated is unbelievable.. should have scraped it completely unless it's yet to work a intended.(patch) It does some things right but itIt's a decent game but don't get me wrong there are far too many tens posted here and here's why... Gameplay is a cheap knockoff of AC:Odyssey, where Sucker Punch made absolutley sure to copy all the mechanics that are stupid and annoying (i.e. the dumb ability-wheel), but did not include any of the polish. Even simple traversal is a pain and fall damage is out of control. Archery stinks completely, it's notExtremely overrated game. The writing ranges from predictable to cringe-worthy.     Mounted combat is an absolute joke until far into the Iki Island expansion where you get some abilities and a very ugly horse armor. Stealth is broken beyond repair. I give it one point for some pretty scenery and decent English voice acting. I feel sad for all those people who confuse Ghost of Tsushima with quality entertainment.    … Expand

    Im Vergleich zur E3 Version sieht das normale Release aus wie scheiße. Andere Pflanzen, Bäume, schlechte Boden Auflösung und ein schlechter aufgelöstes Charakter Model außer in Cutscenes. Sorry echt scheiße für Ps Exclusive.

    mediocre/repetitive gameplay with generic open world game where you take over generic bases and search for boring collectibles. Nothing remarkable

    Nothing less, nothing more. If you like AC or medieval Japan you can try it. If not- don't bother.

    Story: The story line is extremely stale with not even 1 surprising twist, everything played out extremely predictable, none of the boring 1 dimensional supporting characters helped make Jin even remotely interesting. Kutan Khan is such a cliche "super smart" villain that just makes everything else play out way more cliche.    This is sadly one of the worst story games I have ever played.
    Story: The story line is extremely stale with not even 1 surprising twist, everything played out extremely predictable, none of the boring 1 dimensional supporting characters helped make Jin even remotely interesting. Kutan Khan is such a cliche "super smart" villain that just makes everything else play out way more cliche. The campaign was emotionless, boring, basic, and predictable and it doesn't help that every character had awful writing. It was not engaging, compelling, or creative in any way.
    Visuals: Its really disappointing to see a game that takes place on one of the most beautiful places on earth miss the bar graphically, compared to other triple A games such as Last of us Part ll this game looks pretty mediocre. The amount of cut out cut scenes that were just black screens is disgusting, during multiple cut scenes, Jin was not even moving his mouth while talking. Overall the visuals are just meh, nothing stood out to me.
    Game play: While the game play was cool at first, it got repetitive extremely quick, with only 2 assassination animations, extremely easy combat, and some of the worst A.I it was hard to be engaged at all. You could assassinate people within 10 ft of a guard and he doesn't see or hear anything, it was some of the worst programming for A.I's i have ever seen. The stances were cool but then just became a nuisance having to switch ever 5 seconds. The duels are a weak attempt at trying to capture the hardness of dark souls but in the end its just flat out boring. There was one move that the A.I spammed all the time and it was a poke. This move reached almost full screen, had extremely fast start up, was unblockable, and hit for 90% of your health even with maxed out armor. The only way to avoid it was to jump and even then it would still hit even when i was above the swordsman's head or to parry which was extremely hard to do and the parries did even register half of the time. Combat was just not fun and took up time.
    Glitches: Don't even get me started on the disgusting amount of glitches. Some of them were
    Characters mouths not moving when talking
    Movement glitches that make you randomly fall
    block button not registering against move that were blockable
    parry registered only 60% of the time
    Not being able to run
    not being able to switch stances, equipment or weapons
    taking damage before cut scene is over
    and this is just naming a few.
    Overall talking about the game in full and all of its flaws would take forever so in summary, it has combat and gameplay that is ripped of from other story games, the worst story i have ever played, awful writing and characters, countless glitches, and graphics that don't even reach the bar.    … Expand

    Very generic open-world game that takes place in Japan and idea is great, i would love to play good game that takes place in japan, but this one is so boring. Not recommending. Only reason it has so many positive reviews is because people were making thousands of fake accounts, so they could beat last of us 2.     one of the most boring games. The only thing i liked about the game was the combat, even tho after some time it became repetitive. The side quests began to feel like chores, nothing interesting about them. It s definitely an over rated game. I don’t recommend it if you’re looking for an immersive story and a complex open world game

    It's like if Ubi made AC game with Far Cry progression - do stuff, get upgrades. No colored gear and crappy RPG systems that makes no sense, no levels and all of that. Combat feels very impactful.

    It does have a Ubisoft open world vide to it tho, but if you look past that, it is hours upon hours of play.
    You can play it either as a samurai, full blown standoffs etc, or as a ninja. sneaking up and poisoning people. It affects the weather ! play as a ninja a lot and it will storm, play as a samurai, the sun will shine.
    Kurosawa mode is also fun ( old samurai movie style after the director Kurosawa)
    Does it have glitches? yes but you reeeeally have to look for em.
    Legends mode is fun and the new game + is awesome.
    o and for the new players, for the end ( and a few inbetween) get a LOT of tissues, cause sucker punch hammered it home with the japanese/chinese ending styles.

    One thing that bugs me, and its just one. is that although they made japanese voicelines for this game, they did not match the mouth movement. its an irk.    … Expand

    Very inferior version of what Ubisoft has been doing with open worlds, and a very poor interpretation of Japanese culture and history. Gameplay wise it is very shallow compared with games like the soulsborne series.

    A very mediocre game. Graphics are outdated.
    The gameplay is boring. This is another Assassin's Creed only in the Asian setting.
    The story is primitive. Throughout the game, collect team members to attack the boss at the end.

Petting an occasional fox brought some joy but thats it.

    I can hardly recall a game that has a poorer and more primitive story than GOT. Even games like bloodborne or DS, even though not telling a single piece of story to a player managed to create some sort of meaning inside a game. Not here sadly. I am not even comparing GOT to titles like AC, Uncharted etc. etc.
    - Music
    Too ambient to be able to create an atmosphere. Just listen to a Diablo 1, Witcher 3 or TES Oblivion OST and you ll know what im talking about. Music is essential for the atmosphere - in GOT music is just there.
    - Atmosphere
    Non existent here. You wont ever feel anything special, you ll never want to live in Tsushima or even visit it.
    - Camera...ohhh that camera....The words i want to use explaining camera in this game should not be used publicly.
    - Dialogues
    Whoever wrote those "long and meaningful" dialogues should be sacked immediately. Do people really converse in 2-4 words sentences? I know its kinda Japanese thing to put as much information into a shortest phrase, but God, it is so boring.

    Overall i had to force myself to finish the game, to explore every single landmark and objective in the game, hoping that something will stir inside of me. But no. It is as incredibly beautiful and perfect graphically as its boring.    … Expand

    This game is extremely derivative doing nothing new to the open world genre. The open world is extremely dull and lifeless as well as having pretty much absolutely nothing to do. And the combat which i see is receiving high praise is just god awful some of the must menial worst combat in a game i have played in a long time. Would not recommend

    The combat is extremely generic and maybe even worse than that. The combat and mechanics overall are just very bland. The story is fairly decent though. I’d give it a 6, maybe a 7 for the story. I’m just very disappointed overall with this game.

    This game is incredibly boring and buggy. I’m tired of the same old formula for Sony. 3rd person movie game without multiplayer. They did announce MP is coming now but it’s too late. They released the game unfinished and held back the MP, bad move. It’s going to be a boring MP anyways will get old like they all do.

    Ghost of Tsushima is a flawed, but fun, game. While the gameplay itself was solid, and the story was decent, I definitely expected a lot more from Sony’s final PlayStation 4 exclusive. It had enough to keep me hooked, but lacked the polish we’ve all grown to love from a Sony first party game.

    Ultimately, it feels like the game could have benefited from a smaller scope or a more linear structure. Focus on the duels could have created a more engrossing product, especially if it honed in on the narrative for a more concise and cinematic experience. But as it stands, Ghost of Tsushima is another AAA open world title and doesn’t seek to define itself as anything other than that.
