    this interactive type of games are slowly becoming my favorite Genre. the game compensates the lack of actual gameplay with quality stories and longer cuts scenes. the Graphics, facial definition and the Music are top notch.     A worthwhile experience, but nothing groundbreaking. The story of Detroit is obviously the key to this kind of game and it its neither original or immensely gripping. It is very similar to i-Robot with Will Smith the more I think about it, in fact some aspects are nearly identical.
    If you enjoy Qauntic Dream games then you will probably like this, expect a very similar approach with an    A worthwhile experience, but nothing groundbreaking.     **** robots. If you want to cry and watch sad interactive movie, don’t play this game. А robot with feelings that are not built-in - only a parody, an imitation of life, software that crashed, or an attack by hackers and other fans of artificial intelligence. Robots should serve the one who created them.

THE GRAPHICS WERE TOP NOTCH SO I WASNT SURPRISED WHEN IT WAS REVEALED THEY SPENT 5 YEARS ON THE GAME. I LOVE going through Kara Conor and Markuse's story. I'm not going to lie but Conor's story was my favorite he is soo cool and the way he does things is so slick and smooth. The interrogation scene had to be my favorite I ALWAYS PRESSED ON PRESSURE IT AHHAAH SO COOL. I also can not forget about the strong and funny bond between Hank and Conor lol you can probably guess I got the best ending ahahahh. Like wow and Markus becoming THE KING, HE IS RA9 when he kisses North at the end I was like aww bc I knew that it was the end. Kara and Alice and Luther becoming a family was so heartwarming and being able to go to Canada I was like YAY. IT WAS AWESOME AND CONOR BECOMING A DEVIANT WAS WHAT MADE THIS GAME A 10 AMAZING EVERYONE SHOULD PLAY HAVE A GREAT DAY… Expand

    After an experience with Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls i expected a new Quantic Dream's game to be a next step of cinematic games' evolving. But the first fruistraton i faced was on the first minutes of a game. The lead mechanichs turned out to be a step back from Beyond: Two Souls bringing us back to the Heavy Rain's gameplay. It would be not so disappointing if the same could be saidAfter an experience with Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls i expected a new Quantic Dream's game to be a next step of cinematic games' evolving. But the first fruistraton i faced was on the first minutes of a game. The lead mechanichs turned out to be a step back from Beyond: Two Souls bringing us back to the Heavy Rain's gameplay. It would be not so disappointing if the same could be said about the story. But the story is the leading frustration of the game. Starting from the whole setting which is an ocean for the story arcs, philosopfical implications and many other thigs. But here we have a casual story about infrigement of rights and rebellion. The whole adroids' self awareness subject has no any disclosure. Storytellers has a lot of material to start with - from "Do androids dream of electric sheeps" and "Bladerunner" to a lot of modern interpetation of this topic. But it seems the main goal was not to open the question on the other hand. And in the end we have a story in which you can switch androids of 2038 to opposite civilians in any dictatorial country nowadays and nothing will change in general. Twists as well leave much to be desired - especially the one with Alice that force you to lose most of emotional connection with her and Kara's story.

    The decision mechanichs this time seems like cat in a bag. Most of times you make an important descisions but a few moments later you realize that the way you've chosen is not what you really thought it would be. In previous QD's games a hard descisions were as well a big part of gameplay and immersion and when i had to chose something the game provided exactly what it promised. In Detroit i always made a descisions that may be interpreted in many ways. And they always turned out to be not what they seemed.

    With all the proven experience and the story ending i was deeply frustrated. I expected a new masterpiece but only got a casual interactive movie to play at once. Only a girl from main menu really was something fresh and special.    … Expand

    Quantic Dream has created yet another incredible game with Detroit: Become Human. The world this game has given us is believable, well fleshed out, and filled with parallels to our own. The characters are layered and complex, as are the decisions you are forced to make throughout the game. Visually stunning, emotional, and dramatic. Definitely a must play!

    Loved this game! It has a great story and i bought it free on ps4 but i will be buying it on the PC soon to give the devs money since the game is so great!

    This is more of an interactive movie than it is a game, that being said I quite like the story. The gameplay isn’t great so don’t buy the game for the gameplay, but it for the story.

    An incredible game of actors, a diverse plot, the story is impressive. The player constantly has to make difficult choices that affect the further passage. The fate of the heroes in the hands of the player! The graphic, characters are amazing,too.

It’s a masterpiece that even after two years of its release stays deep in your heart, wanting to play more and missing terribly the Detroit Universe and the characters. It makes you think, it makes you feel, it motivates you and makes you cry from pure emotions. Not telling that androids are going to steal our lives completely, but it's interesting how this can be relacted to our real world. Didn't found it considerable cons.

    Good game. Unlike previous games in this studio, there really is a bunch of different endings for each character and people who surround them. I went through many times in order to find out how the story would have developed, if I chose this place. The only problem on the PC is disgusting optimization. Well, the game itself is both excellent in terms of gameplay and plot.

    This game is pretty good, it has a decent story which makes sense, and is just plain good. The game play is a little lacking, but for a story driven game like this, it's fine. I don't like the fact that your character can just die if you make the wrong decisions, even if you're playing as a good guy. But, overall, good game.

    This game wasn't really my style, but it was an enjoyable experience. I understand the "replayability" of the game, but again it really didn't jive with me. The graphics are all good and the game is smooth, but not my cup of tea.

    This game is written with pretty but no nuance whatsoever. This game is an allegory for civil rights but it has such terrible execution behind it. and in many ways oversimplifies the struggle that actual civil rights leaders had to go through to overcome it. That being said though I still enjoyed my time because of how drastically the story changes depending on your choices made.

As much as I love similar games Beyond Two Souls, Heavy Rain, and Until Dawn, Detroit is more expansive, more challenging, more thought provoking, and with a strikingly cinematic eye for detail. The three character arcs are given three distinct visual styles, from the use of color, to the cinematography. Markus' story is epic in scale and scope, with grandiose wide shots and smooth camerawork, Karla's is gritty, dark, and with a more handheld style, while Connor's is cool, sterile, and precise. It's this attention to not only its storytelling, but the way in which they bring these characters to life so thoroughly, that plenty of tension spills over when you are faced with a difficult decision, or accidentally make the wrong one. Every aspect matters, and the flow chart that displays your progress and which pathways you have yet to unlock makes each play a different experience, and I think each play will be as satisfying as the last. This is honestly up there with The Last of Us and the Uncharted series for me. I'm not as much of a hard core gamer as others, but I'll definitely be returning to this one, and I already look forward to playing through it again. This is a landmark video game experience, with incredible and fascinating storytelling and unique, intuitive, gameplay. It's also genuinely terrifying at times, and even hard to stomach. Not just because of the imagery or brilliant atmosphere, but also because of how sucked into it you become, and some of your choices you may regret. It's insanely involving and addicting, and I don't get why it never got as much credit as it deserved.… Expand

    I was really surprised by how well put together this game can be. You just can't get bored while playing it. Stunning visuals and an interesting story that develops according to what choices you make. It could have been better if it was just a tad longer as it feels like you finish it in no time, but other than that, an amazing game!

    I can't even imagine how could someone like David Cage create such an impressive game, it is not just a game, it is pice of art. Big part of Sony exclusive game seemed like a joke(HR, BTS, TLOU i actually don't know about the other big projects), but i should say, Detroit is system seller we deserve( in 2018/2019 lol, it is on PC now).

    This game is insane! It has beautiful graphics and an awesome story. There are some wisely quotes from Shakespeare and very emotional moments. I'm definitely recommending this to everyone who likes games with an incredible story!

    This is one of the best games I played in this genre.

    The choices you make have major impact on the storyline as it goes.

    The atmosphere, story, OST and just the feel of this game is just awesome!

    I would definately recommend it to anyone who likes this kind of game.

    Non vedevo l'ora di gustare Detroit dopo gli ottimi Heavy Rain e Beyond. Supera addirittura le mie aspettative. Ottimo sotto molti aspetti, emozionante e con una grafica superlativa. Fresco di platino, la quale ricerca mi ha permesso di vedere molti epiloghi profondamente diversi fra loro e comunque non tutti. Tra i migliori titoli Ps4

    Masterpiece game with so many variable situations, plots, different ends and often hard moral chooses. A picture is marvelous, russians voices is wonderful (I played in russian language with russian sound).
    Anyway, this is one of rare game where I got a big palette of emotionals and feels. A picture is marvelous, russians voices is wonderful (I played in russian language with russian sound).

    Скучноватая. Чего стоит миссия, где надо косплеить домработницу полчаса. Тут убери, то подай.

These graphics is amazing and this game is interactive movie but I think this is one of the best game I played.     Very nice decision based story game with a strong confrontation about ethics. It is a 10 for me, if they would have included a combination of different game genre to give the player more options what he/she could do. it is also not in general openworld as metacritic claims.

    Lo que se puede esperar de esta compañía, evidentemente corrigieron los errores cometidos en beyond2souls, que es un buen juego pero narrativamente bastante lineal, y nos dan muchiiiiisimas posibilidades a la hora de generar una historia completamente diferente en casa ronda. Totalmente recomendable si te gustan este tipo de juegos tipo "elige tu propia aventura"

    This game had so much potential but unfortunately fell short. The action sequences, world, and basic ideas are a fantastic starting point. However, the ideas were not effectively carried out. This game struggles with the idea of the illusion of choice. It seems to give you the choice between androids and humans, but in reality it strongly forces you to support the android people.This game had so much potential but unfortunately fell short.     Detroit: Become Human delivers a story with a ton of possible choices, and a lot of questions for a player to bear afterward. If you like it when games make you think about them after you play them, this is the game for you. Stunning visuals and music score, make you forget about some weaker points of the game. But all in all, it is an enjoyable experience you should not miss.

While it’s commendable that Quantic Dream tried to cover hot-button issues in a big-budget video game, it works better when focused on the personal character moments than the bigger themes that don’t dig deep enough to make a meaningful impact.
