    A player of all AC games here. This game started really bad. Glitches, errors and clunky combat. But thankfully, I'm writing this review after having finished Origins. First of all, download the update; it gets rid of all glitches and errors. Then, keep playing. The game grows on you.     Gran juego, q podría haber sido excelente si no fuera tan repetitivo

    Pros + Técnicamente el juego es un 10. Todo corre de manera muy fluida, con fps estables en todo momento. + Un mundo abierto hermoso. Quiza el mejor Open World para Ps4 a la fecha, con la posibilidad de poder trepar y llegar a absolutamente cualquier lugar que desees, siempre con unas animaciones muy delicadas +    Gran juego, q podría haber sido excelente si no fuera tan repetitivo

    - La misión principal. Quizá un fan de la saga le encuentre puntos interesantes, yo soy casual en AC y la historia no me atrapó en ningún momento, con cinemáticas largas y diálogos aburridos
    - Los puntos de interes. Si bien el mapa es inmenso y lleno de ubicaciones marcadas con un Signo de pregunta para descubrir, las mismas suelen variar entre un cuartel donde asesinar un capitan y saquear un tesoro, o un animal para matar. Tremendamente repetitivo y falto de ingenio
    - Personajes sin carisma. Como en casi todos los puntos negativos que remarqué, pierde en comparativa con juegos como The Witcher, de donde sacaron mucho para este AC. Todo es mas forzado y los personajes con los q te vas cruzando son totalmente olvidables    … Expand

    1) Nem a montaria nem Bayek possuem controle de velocidade para correrem mais rápido e assim poderem sair dos conflitos mais rapidamente. A velocidade é única e isso incomoda em certos momentos do game onde vc precisaria cair fora ou gostaria de se movimentar mais rápido pelo cenário; 2) NPCs te atrapalham: Há momentos de luta contra os inimigos, seja a pé    Pontos negativos do game:

    3) Idioma dos NPCs CHATO e REPETITIVO. Você irá ouvir milhares de vezes o termo "IDIÔDI". Chegou a um ponto em que eu evitava ir às às cidades para explorar para não ouvir essa palavra. Também nota-se a mesma voz pronunciando muitas das falas ao ponto de você achar que o NPC está te perseguindo no jogo. É altamente irritante.

    4) Após queda, Bayek não se levanta automaticamente. Quando Bayek é derrubado do cavalo num confronto, vc necessariamente precisa apertar "X" (no PS4) para ele se levantar, pois se não fizer ele vai continuar deitado como se estivesse tomando sol na praia. Você precisa parar de apertar os botões de ataque, apertar o botão para ele se levantar, e continuar atacando. Isso é ridículo pois num jogo normal ele se levantaria automaticamente.     Original, to the origins of the creed, seems like a good concept, and well it was. The time I spent playing the game, it really excelled what I had in mind, the seamless parkour and hand to hand combat seemed like the Assassins Creed game we needed, but there were a few notable, shall we say, disappointments.

    The story was, interesting, had a lot of history to it, but the down side was    Original, to the origins of the creed, seems like a good concept, and well it was. The time I spent playing the game, it really excelled what I had in mind, the seamless parkour and hand to hand combat seemed like the Assassins Creed game we needed, but there were a few notable, shall we say, disappointments.

    The story was, interesting, had a lot of history to it, but the down side was it was a bit jumpy at the beginning, I didn't quite grasp much of what was happening, and being thrown right into a battle, is alright to learn controls, but from a story standpoint, a bit confusing.

    Leveling in this game, was a nice addition, worked well with the progression of the story and the harder missions, but, what lacked was the fact that just by doing the main quests, did not set you up for the next main missions, for example, you hit a major point in the story, and your level 10, but the next mission is level 15, the gap is too big, which has me thinking that there is not much in the way of a composed story,

    On the topic of leveling, to be able to match with the recommended level, you have to do side quests, now that's fine because some play well with characters you've met or have quirks of humor about them, the only real problem is that they take away from the main story, it's like, now we can go and kill the final boss, but wait let me kill some hippos for a village so I can be ready for the boss fight, seems silly doesn't it.

    Note: I have not finished the game, but i'm pretty sure this is how it will continue.

    On a final note it is well rendered in visuals, and the story in enticing, but the leveling progression can be tiresome at times, probably rate this my third best AC game.    … Expand

    I excepted something much better, based on reviews, than i finally got. Its still same open boring world, only difference to previous titles i have to grind levels, because more than four difference to enemies make them almost immortal.     Summary, nice to watch, bad to play. My advice-rent or buy cheap used copy and explore tour mode.    … Expand

    I loved it! Made me feel like i was playing AC2 again, i just wanted to see everything, im 4 trophies short of getting platinum and i intent to keep going, gorgeous game, good story, great combat, i just love it.

    This game was really good. I used to be a huge fan of the franchise but I was let down by Unity and so never played Syndicate. The open world is MASSIVE with a plethora of awesome stuff to explore, to collect and to kill. I liked the revamped combat system because this was the first AC game that I found hard to stay alive in, although the feeling of the battle gets stale after a while. AllThis game was really good. The only thing that dissapointed me were the graphics. I know that it looks amazing on a PS4 Pro, but on a regular PS4, it looks like AC III.     A great game which I enjoyed playing every second of it.
    Origins' world was brilliant, and the story line was really good too.
    It also saved the franchise and made me love Assassin's Creed again. Definitely recommended.

    A lot of things about this game are good, but it turns into a very boring repetitive grind, where you are forced to do a lot of monotonous side quests to be able to do the main story and the main story isn't interesting enough to compel you to do the grind. I can only imagine that the game was designed this way to encourage people to buy micro transactions. This Game blows away the idea of open world game. Origins has a massive world.Maybe bigger than GTA V and Red Dead Redemption. Factors that puts AC: Origins ahead (some might frown) over GTA V and RDR is the immersive game play. Hunting,After Ezio series; AC 2, Brotherhood (the best) and Revelations ( a perfect ending) the ones that followed were pretty mediocre. Black flag was good. This Game blows away the idea of open world game. Origins has a massive world.Maybe bigger than GTA V and Red Dead Redemption. Factors that puts AC: Origins ahead (some might frown) over GTA V and RDR is the immersive game play. Hunting, Climbing, Interaction with envt, weapons, Combat, Enemies, Soundtrack are to name a few.

    Combat is pretty challenging. I suggest play in HARD mode. Every enemy has a difficulty level. If they are 1 or two levels above you, then combat is tough, if further above, you'll be killed like a mosquito. One death per hour is more or less certain. Even the same goes with animals.

    You can climb pretty much anything. Yes!! Anything. Now you don't need to take a long route to reach atop of a mountain. Simply can climb vertically.

    SENU the Eagle is what we always wanted in Assassins Creed. In origins we do not have eagle vision, bur actual EAGLE's Vision. Use Senu to track, follow, set markers, even fast travel (if senu is within 300mts)

    A.I is absolutely amazing, for instance: In a side quest when an NPC is asked to go home after the quest, the NPC actually runs home, rather than just disappear. You can follow the character with SENU (the EAGLE) and can even listen to his post quest conversation with another character.

    Bayek is always on running mode. No need to press any other keys (AC fans will notice the difference).

    How to play: Ideally play all the side quests, explore areas, loot transporting, hunt and reach higher levels.

    I reached level 8 before leaving the first area (SIWA). Even at level 8 there are two places in SIWA that you cannot approach. Enemies have SKULL over them (Too high for Bayek)

    I played almost 8 hours (in detail, solving puzzles, upgrading,dying- a lot) before "Leaving SIWA".

    This game is Massive. Awesome. Challenging. Accurate to a great extent (even the interiors of Pyramid of GIZA

    I can go on writing, but i suggest buy it to experience it.

    I think this is a great game, i havent finished it by any means but what i can say is that this is the type of Assasin's creed game i've always dreamed about.

    The game seems solid and the map is HUGE, combat seems heavy and brutal which i like alot, though what i would like to gripe about is the sound and some of the cutscenes.     You have probably played Division or Destiny in the past and you like to get those purple blue and yellow weapon loots, this game has stuff to loot like shield, swords, bows, spears etc. Great stuff.

    Be prepared of getting lost since there is no minimap to guide you, only a small compass on the top center of your tv screen..

    You should concider playing this game on weekends or whenever you got enough spare time to be a couch potato, this game is a huge time sink if you get too immersed. Forget about the alarm clock.

    What i would like to point out though is that the game seem to have some framerate issues at times and another thing you should also like to know is that if you are having issues starting up the game and you get black screen upon startup and crash to a destop, then try disabling fxaa on the nvidia setting on your computer or if you have some other card like amd just try to disable the fxaa feature on your card and let the game do it instead, it might help or it might not.    … Expand

Well not really, this time around ubisoft has learned from their mistakes and the payoff is soo worth it i have played all the major AC titles and i can comfortably say that this title in particular is among my favourites, the gameplay is phenomenal, it reminds me of my time as a kid playing AC 1 more than anything else, the story is howeverAnother year another assassins creed right ? Well not really, this time around ubisoft has learned from their mistakes and the payoff is soo worth it i have played all the major AC titles and i can comfortably say that this title in particular is among my favourites, the gameplay is phenomenal, it reminds me of my time as a kid playing AC 1 more than anything else, the story is however sadly average at best and boring at worst if youre looking for a good story here then you wont find that HELL NO infact id say the worst thing about this game is its weak narative while i wont spoile any of it here its definetly nowhere near as good as say AC 2 for example, soo what makes this game good and fun ? Well for one the world is very large i was blown away by how big the map is its BY FAAR the biggest AC game weve ever had and among the biggest openworld games todate the gameplay as i mentioned previoulsy is phenomenal it differs ALOT from the previous AC titles this time around going for a more dark souls style combat where your level and your gear ACTUALLY MATTER while some old fans arent really fond of it i think its a welcome change to the franchise, exploration is also rewarded by loot coins crafting materials and other things, the game is also very polished and graphically stunning framerate is thankfully stable on ps4 and i havent had too many bugs with the game there is also a big variety of animals weapons and outfits wich is greatly apriciated i also have to mention that ubisoft has definetly taken some notes from the witcher 3 and far cry, the side quests are decent they mostly serve as a way for you to gain xp fast soo none of them are really memorable like in the witcher 3, and of course there are the filthy microtransactions now i understand ubisoft wants to make money but for gods sake why put it in a single player game (i think we all know why)
    thankfully they arent intrussive at all and i never once thought about buying anything from the shop
    but i have to mention it still because it seems that this is becoming a growing trend amongs games and we need to draw the line in the sand NOW. now if you liked the prevous ac games i think youre gonna like this one too however wait for a price drop before buying the game just to make sure you get your moneys worth 8/10 great game.    … Expand

    So I played all of the ACs since the dawn of time and I was doing so more because of the story which I like than the actual game. Origin was like being brought back to life. I like the scale and the fact that you can actually be challenged along the game. No more simple fights - things are different now. Everything from the stunning setting of Ancient Egypt to the story and Bayek's quest for revenge andA rejuvenation of a franchise that was in desperate need of a change in direction. From the new RPG elements to the rehashed gameplay mechanics. AC Origins is everything you want from an AC game. Despite the many changes, there is still the familiarity that you would expect from an AC game. Everything from the stunning setting of Ancient Egypt to the story and Bayek's quest for revenge and the birth of the brotherhood. Egypt is a huge sandbox playground to get lost in to the sprawling vista's, to the Pyramids of Giza. There is so much to see and do here.     First, the microtransactions. Why? Just.... why? I wouldn't mind them so much if there was a way to earn points to buy these things, but since you have to use real world money I am docking this game several points.

I also don't know why but every time in the past few days I've used poison there have always been cats around. Every. time. and every time they get killed I feel horrible.
    Once I was petting a cat and stretched my arms out in real life, causing the attack button to get ever so lightly tapped, causing Bayek to swing his weapon and instantly kill the cat that I was enjoying petting! AND THEN THE GAME YELLED AT ME ABOUT IT! I didn't mean to kill it! I didn't want to kill it and the game just shoves it in your face like it's YOUR fault.
    and I don't care if they or anyone doesn't find it disheartening to accidentally kill cats in a video games, I do!

    I've brought this up to them and was brushed aside. I am getting sick of being ignored by them and basically being given a pat on the head every time I bring this up. So for now I'm leaving my rating at 1 till this getting fixed. and the ONLY reason I'm giving it a 1 and not 0 is because when I'm not accidentally killing cats this game is fun to play. Диалоги писали толи для ДЦП, толи сами сценаристы страдают этим недугом. Юбики расслабились откровенно.     Beautiful world... and that's about it. A lot of content padding, the missions are all the same - go there, kill a bunch of dudes, fetch random object. Horse mechanics are uninspired. Ranged combat is a miss. The arena is pointless. The pay to win elements are annoying.

    One of the best Assassins Creed titles in a long time. I'm glad to see Ubisoft make a comeback after Unity and Syndicate. The year-long break was worth it.

    The best gameplay in the series with terrific graphics. The bad thing is the horrific tree, leveling is way outdated, repeated quests and mechanics and the thin story.

    Assassin's Creed: Origins is the best game in the series, but it's a mediocre action RPG at its core. In this sense, it both succeeds and fails at being a much-needed franchise shakeup.

    Origins is the newest installment in rather worn out series and a much appreciated and needed refresh. New combat and graphically fantastic environment with tons of content will gave you some nice moments. The game is not a blast but it is a proof that AC is back on the right track again, for now.
