    This game is really good. The combat, the bosses, the story, everything! Both campaigns are really good. The Batman story puts everything that happens in the films (and/or comics I haven't read them :) and slaps them down in the form of LEGO inside of a pack of 5 levels per film perfectly. The villain campaign is a great way of showing what happens prior to the Batman stories. My onlyThis game is really good. The combat, the bosses, the story, everything! Both campaigns are really good. The Batman story puts everything that happens in the films (and/or comics I haven't read them :) and slaps them down in the form of LEGO inside of a pack of 5 levels per film perfectly. The villain campaign is a great way of showing what happens prior to the Batman stories. My only complaint is while people like long levels, these levels almost feel TOO long.     I wasn't a fan of the original Lego Movie, it wasn't bad but it was just generic I felt. But then I saw the Lego Ninjago Movie and enjoyed it much better even if it did start to drag nearer the end. So when I sat down to watch Lego Batman Movie I wasn't expecting too much but boy did I enjoy it. I'm a huge comic book and Batman fan to start with but I wasn't expecting the film to pokeI wasn't a fan of the original Lego Movie, it wasn't bad but it was just generic I felt.     This is Batman, but you can avoid the T rating for your diehard christian mom.

    With lego charm and stuff, this, in my opinion, is better than Lego StarWars. With an original story, the addition of gliding, and multiple new abilities, such as a suit swapper. This game is a must play if you have $20 to spend.     LEGO Batman is unique from past titles in the building blocks' franchise. The story isn't based off a movie or even a comic-book plot. This is an original tale. That gives Traveller's Tales some latitude, since there's no need to follow a well-known plot. There isn't even a direct tie-in to a particular Batman universe. This isn't Batman of movie fame, the campy TV show or the comics. It'sLEGO Batman is unique from past titles in the building blocks' franchise.     This is my first game i have ever played, In fact I made poem, "On one rainy day, I was on my way, my cousin had invited me and my brothers to play, we sat down looked at the case he had taken out lego batman but we looked unfazed, so he put it in the ps2 we saw the tv, next thing I know our eyes were glued and our faces shined with glee, the cool lego characters, the animations, noThis is my first game i have ever played, In fact I made poem, "On one rainy day, I was on my way, my cousin had invited me and my brothers to play, we sat down looked at the case he had taken out lego batman but we looked unfazed, so he put it in the ps2 we saw the tv, next thing I know our eyes were glued and our faces shined with glee, the cool lego characters, the animations, no dialogue, no annotations, we played the game all night and day, we cried a lot when we went away, we got home i told my dad that this game rocks, we got it the next time we went to vintage stock, me and my brother played this all day and night, till one day we stopped, dont know what, dont know why. I recently replayed this game with my young 3rd brother, and we played most of the missions, we had fun in case you wondered, this game was always with me since i was a kid, and it will most likely be with as i grow to a man.… Expand

    Having had Lego Indian Jones, and all the Lego Star Wars, this Lego game by far is the one that my two kids, 5 and 4, prefer. They find the villians and heroes, who they have no prior knowledge of before, very funny, and they now know their names even better than I did when I was their age. As for myself, I can't get into the game, but the little ones love it. That's good enough for me

    Very good game. Even if your not a big batman fan this game will keep you busy. Very fun and a great buy. If I say anything needs to be improve it would probably be the controls.

    Good game. Especially good for my 6 year old son. Definitely an improvement on Lego Indiana Jones which was way too hard for younger kids. Some of the puzzles can be challenging but generally there is a logical answer to the problems.

    This is the game that made me become a Batman fan. Before I played it, the only Batman villains I knew were the Joker, Penguin, Riddler, Two-Face and Scarecrow. But this game showed me much more. The only problem with this game is that you don't have all of Gotham City to explore, but the sequel makes up for that.

    nicely designed game, more geared towards children, graphics are nice and game play is relatively simple, would recommend this for kids, not really entertaining enough for adults...

The game is also pretty long (12 hours campaign and more than 20 hours for the 100%) those are all very good things, but there's also a few down sides.
    The main one being in my opinion that the story is too simple, the    I wasn't very impressed by this Lego game, yes it's still a very cool game for children and co-op gameplay, the lego style design is pretty cute and the humour effective.     The main one being in my opinion that the story is too simple, the absence of dialogues and the fact that the game is not based on a particular story, just the universe of batman (which is respected), gladly the sequel will be the beginning of dialogues in Lego games, but for this episode you just go forward through levels without real purpose except catching the bad guys. The other one is the absence of difficulty, yes the game must be available for children but they could had options of difficulty for other players.

    But overall it's a good game, but as far its the worst Lego game I've played and will not be my first recommendations to get into those games, except for Batman fans.    … Expand

    Every single level it lego batman feels like a repetitive grind.
    Not a single moment did I find myself having fun with this game, and im a mild batman fan.
    Even the license wasn’t enough to bring me joy.
    Every level stars a new villain, whether you are playing the batcave side or the arkham asylum side.
    Batman and robin have various suits that can be found throughout levels that are used to progress and each villain has a perk of their own for level progression, but neither side feels the least bit satisfying to progress through or complete levels.
    The game is far too basic to bring joy,
    You mash a button until you see lego pieces bouncing around and then you hold down another bother button to build whatever it is you need to go to the next section and do it all over again.
    That’s all there is to the game.
    There are tons of progression annoyances that you will find if you play by yourself instead of co op which is clearly the better option.
    Too often I would find my AI partner stuck or not following me when I needed them to, and by time I realized it I was too far to swap so I had to walk back and find them, and at points where im trying to position other characters and don’t want to be followed, I would annoyingly be followed.
    At the end of the batman levels there is a boss
    Boss battles are pretty basic and boring too, much like the rest of the game its mashing buttons until you can build what you have to or until the enemy is vulnerable.
    I was greatly disappointed in LEGO batman the videogame, especially after hearing people rave on about the humor and charm in these games.
    There is none, theres just mumbles in cutscenes and subtleties that may or may not give you a mild chuckle, but I just don’t see the praise.
    There are a few vehicle based levels thrown in there to attempt to mix things up, but they just dnt, they follow the same structure of just break stuff to continue.
    Lego batman the videogame feels lazy to me, I didn’t enjoy my time with it even a little bit.
    I cant find it in myself to recommend this game, not even to batman fans,

    I love batman, but this game wasn't as enjoyable to me as lego star wars or Indie Jones. Needless to say it's not a bad game theirs a lot of cool characters to unlock, and you get to play a villain story once you beat it with batman and robin so that's pretty cool.

    Not bad, but not great. It's pretty fun for a while, but it gets boring after a while of playing it. Still, if you enjoy the Lego games, buy it by all means.

    This game has a fresh new angle to it, letting you throw batarangs and use different suits to reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Villains also have their own missions, which are just as entertaining as the hero ones.

    The charm of LEGO blocks is exploring your creativity and building new things, so Traveler’s Tales’ habit of sticking to one formula stands in stark contrast to the entire LEGO philosophy. We’ve had fun with this series, but it’s time to dump the franchise out on the floor and start piecing it back into something new.
