    One of the best games in the era of ps3, in its time the visuals were unbelievable, the music and the story of revenge ended in a very epic way, and its a masterpiece, do not hesitate to play it.

    With God of War II, I easily complained that the game did not bring anything new compared to number one. The authors seem to have listened to me and offered us a full-fledged, this time the third sequel, which brings some of the changes. God of War I was a great game that should be played by every proud PlayStation fan. God of War II for a lot of people and the best part of the series and for me an amazing sequel to the game. How's God of War III? Awesome! The play throws us a delicious intro right at the beginning, which immediately draws us in with the music and reminds us of the events of the previous parts with its visual. Yes, the intro may be slightly longer than in previous games, but it's not a bad thing when it's the third part of the series, so it's nice for the game to recap the events in the story of the previous parts. However, after the end of this intra and the subsequent film, which will introduce us to the negatives, the game throws us into action and friends, it is delicious here! Yes, it was already delicious in previous games, but this time the authors shifted it a bit thanks to the fact that the game is already for newer generations of consoles and thanks to that it looks much better and especially the blood looks much more realistic and sprays a lot here. Violence and adult content in general is not a problem for the game and there will be sex scenes, as in previous episodes, when we simply have to press the buttons and turn the gamepad levers as the game shows us to get Red Orbs, thanks to which we will subsequently improve. Yes, there is, of course, character improvement here. Don't look for much here. Simply improving your swords and your abilities for even more bloodthirsty action. Speaking of the constant action and that there are a lot of them, I must not forget the locations where the game takes place. Although they have not undergone such a complete change and we will move here mainly in palaces and not so much somewhere in the wild, it does not matter, because the location simply looks different. Either it is because they got a new graphic jacket that suits them and they look more realistic, but personally I think it's because the game is so dark all the time and don't look for much light here compared to one and two. It's constantly cloudy and just dark, but it has its charm and it all makes you feel like the game is coming to a finish and that this is no longer a fairy tale, which of course wasn't even in previous games, but in short the game seemed a bit darker. To top it all off, there are some puzzles here and there that will give you a break from all those battles. When you jump through the game to the last hours of playing, a delicious end awaits you, which will suit you with the action-packed final of the game. I'm not going to spoiler with whom he has the honor at the end of the game Kratos, but I'll tell you that it was delicious and overall The Final Boss here is something delicious that ends the series. The whole thing seems like such an ending, although at the time of writing this review it is not the ending, because later God of War (2018) was published. But back to the three. To sum it all up. God of War III is an amazing game that brings even better action in new nice graphics. After all, the game looks slightly different from the previous ones, thanks to the already mentioned darker cloudy environment.     Awesome boss battles, awesome soundtrack, great graphics, great gameplay that flows better than the previous GOW titles, great cutscenes and top quality voice acting. One of my only complaints is the inconsistency in level design with some levels being great and some levels being not so good. I also don't feel like replaying it because of its linearity.

    In my opinion, is the best game out of the GOW franchise, simply epic, and the new enhanced and mastered version makes it more awesome to watch and play, the landscapes, the music and great boss fights makes this game one of the greatest in history!

    Первое что хочеться написать, так это то что я фанат серии god of war еще с малых лет, я прошел все игры старой линейки ( за исключением betrayal но играть в нее это та еще головная боль). В 3 часть полностью оправдала мои ожидания после покупки. В ней хороша и графика, и боевка, шикарные QTE (лучшие из всей старой линейки игр). Но вот во время прохождения истории у меня возникло чувство того, что что то определенно не так, вроде как и особо не отличаеться ''качеством'' от других частей, но все таки мне чего то не хватало (ИМХО, хотя может и исторее действительно слабее стала) Но даже не смотря на это я считаю что 3 часть - это достойное завершение оригинальной трилогии. Если вы играли во все предыдущие игры линейки, то я думаю эта вас уж точно не разочарует. Но если же вы не играли в первые две части и рассматриваете покупку третьей по каким либо причинам, то она вполне возможно может вам не понравиться (у меня была похожая ситуация, но как же я все таки рад что решил пройти все игры сам). На этом этот небольшой думаю можно закончить. (это не часть обзора а личное мнение, крик Вильгельма в первой заставке уж совсем не сочетаеться с игрой (◣_◢) )… Expand

    How mad can one be? out the gate this game throws you in an epic boss fight with Poseidon! Kratos on his epic adventure to Zeus, but what a **** up journey. i played this **** over and over and overrrrrr! a few times on PS3 and a couple times on PS4. the ending of the game lead to greatness. this game is greatness and you doing it wrong if own a Playstation and DONT own this series.

    Truly a masterpiece. No game has ever pushed the limits of the ps3 like this one. The massive scales, the beautiful graphics, the very-good at worst combat. This game had a very big impact on games of its time. A very fun and interesting game. While not having a good story, it truly shines as an excellent game with well-crafted mechanics. I love it! It is definitely a must-play.

    An excellent and brutal action game that perfectly caps the original God of War trilogy. The combat is responsive and satisfying, the story is epic and conclusive, the bosses and set pieces are top notch. The similarities between three of your four weapons are is only tarnish on this otherwise all-time classic.

    God of war 3 is a fantastic game overall. It may fall flat in some areas but at the end of the day it is an almost perfect end to the main GoW trilogy. The graphics are great, combat remains up to standard with the rest of the franchise and the story is well crafted and a great conclusion.

    Incredibly brutal, incredibly fun, and deceptively beautiful, God of War 3 doesn't let up for a second. Exacting your revenge on one god after another gives you a feeling of power very few games manage to, and makes for one of the most fun games I've ever played. Definitely recommend.

    Я не жалею, что прошел God of War III на платиновую платину! Я не жалею о том времени, что потратил на прохождение этой игры столько раз. Недавно, кстати, я закончил еще одно прохождение GOW3, и я могу только положительно отозваться о ней. Эта игра потрясающая!

    This is exactly how you should end a trilogy. It is epic, satisfactory, impactful and reflects your actions. It starts directly after the cliffhanger at the end of the previous game. This is actually a great transition because it was one of the best cliffhangers in video game history. I showed it back then to my non God of War playing friends and they were impressed. The game is carefully made with for its time really impressive graphics and the always memorable / awesome soundtrack. Game-play wise it is the good old formula of the God of War games. For me this game has the best variety of weapons. Some are really good included into the puzzles. I must mention that some people and reviewers say there is a small lag for the controls. For me it was not note-able but I think it is my duty to point this out. Then there is the presentation and the boss battles. They go up to eleven and you feel the scale and impact. One boss fight in particular is nearly always it the most epic boss fights list of all time (And well deserved). After Mass Effect 3 I fell the need to say that it has a satisfying conclusion but read a bit further for another statement for the end (Without spoilers). The game holds also a mirror in front of you at some points to reflect what you have done. There are even interesting new characters and some character development. My only negative point is that the conclusion can for some people be a disappointment. There is a minority that say it is a sellout. While I disagree and would defend my point I see also the validity of their statements. Overall a satisfying conclusion and worthy of a place in my collection.… Expand

    Even though the third entry in the series didn't see the great jump from the first to the second game, it still was able to extract as much as possible out of the god of war formula. Taking on the gods themselves has never felt so satisfying.

    La epica conclusion de una trilogia increible. Kratos vuelve para terminar con su venganza contra los dioses griegos y lo hace de una forma BRUTAL!

    Esta tercera parte para la ps3 es simplemente espectacular y nos confima que esta es una de las sagas mas epicas y salvajes en la historia de los videjuegos.

    God of War III is one of the best games i ever played. The words are really inadequate when trying to explain this game. Graphics are really good for PS3. Ending of this game is great. Boss battles, puzzles, characters, story is very good. Soundtracks on my Spotify playlist. Absolutely stunning

    The reason I rate this game with a 0 it's because I was finishing this game and now I'll have to watch the end on youtube because a bug. I'll start from the begining. First, in the middle of the game I saved the game but then I couldn't upload it, not even the autosave. So I upgraded the game and I could continue. I tried to jump throgh the spears after a combat while the spears were going down (SO DON'T DO THAT). After doing that everything went wrong. I couldn't save the game the first two times. Then I finally did it and I though it was fixed so I didn't create a new game but then I went on and the game froze in the middle of a cinematic. I tried many things (uploading the autosaved included) but it happened the same thing over and over again and I'm stuck. So yeah, that's why I give it a 0 because they don't deserve more. If it wasn't for all this problems maybe I would have rate this game with a 7 or 8. I didn't like some puzzles because they were infuriating and there's too much blood for my taste (although I knew it was a gore game). In the last God of War for ps4 I think they restrained themselves. What I loved the most were the gigantic creatures.… Expand

    Just beat the game on Hard mode and it was very challenging.

    Во первых хочу поблогодорить santa monica studio за серию Год оф вар. Брутальный слешер с крутой боёвкой, с большим масштабом, с неповторимой мызыкой боссами и.т.д. Сюжет так себе неплохой и не хороший 7/10.     I didnt like this one, when i started it i felt the camera is not my type of thing in a video game, and the combat felt boring for some reason maybe because i like dark souls combat, the story is about mythology gods and i found it to be extremely shallow and childish, however the game is still well made despite me not liking it, its just not for me.

    5/10

    I enjoyed God of War 4 a lot though.

While the story isn't the greatest, the action gameplay is truly fantastic and the graphics are absolutely mind-blowing. This is one of the most cinematic video games of all time. Of course, one could argue that this third game in the series follows the formula of its predecessors"God of War III" is one of the great PS3 spectacles.     I didn't play all the games in the series,I finished gow4 and then bought this one. I liked the new part more,but that doesn't mean that gow3 is bad game. Flawles! Bosses,music,gameplay at the highest level.

    The best game i've played on this generation. The most beautiful graphics on PS3 history. Amazing, compelling, instigative, with a tremendous ending to the history of one of the greatest characters i've ever known or seen in any games, on any platforms. In my opinion, a piece of art.

    A true classic hack & slash game worthy to sit as one of the best out there (right next to DMC3)
    Lets begin. Combat (player) - While some say GoW has a very (sometimes "shallow") gameplay, I found it quite wrong and not true. All GoW games have unique weapons. Yes, you do carry 4 weapons which 2 one them are CC    I played this gen back in 2010 and now I played the Remaster in the PS4.

    Lets begin.

    Combat (player) - While some say GoW has a very (sometimes "shallow") gameplay, I found it quite wrong and not true. All GoW games have unique weapons. Yes, you do carry 4 weapons which 2 one them are CC damage much like the classic blades but the wrong differently which is why I welcome it. GoW3 has some interesting elements to make some sassy combos which I found to be quite fun to pull and easy. And by easy I mean not unnecessary complex and **** unlike that other game *DMC4 AHEM*.
    Use dash to launch enemies in the air, then make some Ariel attack and juggle them with you bow (always fun to juggle that Monster bull). BTW , dedicated evade button in a fixed camera ? now THAT'S GREAT (plus m once you learn to evade cancel it becomes even more fun... yes it's kinda OP once you use it, still fun as hell like in DMC3)
    Overall, combat may seem shallow because some players span (Light + Light + Heavy). But once you rep the difficulty then some advance Ariel combos might help you out.
    One thing to note before I get to the standard enemies, yes the throw button is way to OP. However not all enemies are beatable (on the start) by being safe in an animation attack/grab.

    Enemies -
    Spartan (generic and golden) - The generic are you snacks to spam circle grab and easy to kill. However the golden types have super armor on attack animation but can be beaten with Ariel combos to be safe.
    "Big Cows" - Probably the funniest enemy to juggle in the air because the so big that it seems impossible. The can block and counter you attacks but overall they're easy and fun. Just a lot tougher
    Medusa and snake girl - both share the same attacks , one can simply turn you to stone. The normally have super armor to be wear out. thankfully , they not hard to break and juggle in the air and their attacks are easily readable (unlike a **** enemy named blitz in DMC4)
    - Rest of enemies I can't remember - pretty the rest of the enemies carry a combination of super armor that you'll need to break (except for the gorgon, they always have it on but slow for such attribute). Most of them can be combo in the air with an easy. Hence the reason why the games throws a mix of enemies that make you need to evade in certain moments.
    So overall, great enemy design.
    Bosses - They're great. Not special TBH. All of them have readable attack animations and some are slow. It's a shame that some of them cannot be bested by all weapons types like in DMC3 but again it's not a big deal.
    Overall great.

    There are so many aspects of this game that have been greatly improved upon, compared to the games that came before it. For one, it's graphically gorgeous. I played the Remastered version so that may have helped a little bit but either way, the scale of the game was achieved due almost exclusively to the graphics that helped sell it's epic nature. The monsters finally had that scary factor that made them all the more intimidating which again made the gameplay experience better. This was also the first game that I played on Normal difficulty since the first game. The clunky controls of the earlier entries infuriated me and I played on Easy simply to finish the game as fast as possible (the only real reason I'm playing any of these is because I want to go into God of War IV knowing as much of the backstory as possible), and playing this on normal kicked my ass a few times. Because of this, I had to be much more careful with my attacks, timing, and maneuvers which inherently makes you more invested in the game and character. So, this might not be an objective statement due to the difficutly change but I did feel like this game was more of a challenge which made it more fun. On the other hand, this game was a lot more gruesome... like, a lot. Almost disgustingly so, at times, as blood would literally cover the screen. Of course, this doesn't bother me but as this was the first HD-feeling game, the first graphical change that I noticed was the gallons of blood erupting from every enemy. It was slightly offputting but honestly, did a lot to help sell the legendary fantastical nature of a game revolving around the God of War.
    Probably my favorite aspect of the game was when you could pick up and use artifacts from the gods and demi-gods that you killed. Whenever you take down one of these mythological characters, you assume some of their powers which was a design that made every few chapters feel extremely fresh (something that was desperately needed after binge-playing all of these games in less than 3 weeks). The final boss fight was another element of the game that changed-up the God of War fighting paradigm by making it extremely reminiscent of Mortal Kombat. The hack-and-slash followed by rapid button-mash nature of the boss fights has grown a little slate so having a boss fight in this new style was more than welcome.
    Overall, I don't think this game has quite the intimate character driven story of Ghost of Sparta but it makes up for it in it's epic conclusion-based nature which offered a lot of fun and fresh, exciting gameplay elements.    … Expand

    An epic conclusion to the god of war trilogy that makes a presence for the franchise on the followed generation of PlayStation, only thing is something that took what feels like a lot of effort through two main games resolves to easy and quick.

    Fechou a trilogia do Espartano com excelência! Gráficos espetaculares pro PS3, jogabilidade já conhecida melhorada em relação ao antecessor, e é muito bom ver durante o jogo os imensos monstros e **** subindo/defendendo o Olimpo. O melhor da trilogia.

    In my opinion, the best God of War game by far. Storyline is simple but it works very well thanks to mythology, and gameplay is even better than in the previous games. Ttechnical power is evidently much larger as well, so the game really outstands over all the others GoW in terms of graphics and sequences.

    8.5 - Very good game, kept everything traditional, and overall a great sequel with ps3 graphics. Cool weapons and magic in this one especially. Final boss is pretty challenging as well.

    But despite God of War III being afraid of flying too close to the sun -lest those carefully crafted wings should melt- the journey is relentlessly exciting; a blistering spectacle told in blood and thunder. Truly epic, then. And I defy anyone to argue with the definition this time around.

    God of War 3 is fantastic, and has at least three scenes that are utterly magnificent. Design and gameplay-wise, it's absolutely stunning. The downside is that it doesn't have that clear cut perfection that its predecessor had; the polish shine that brilliantly lit up our eyes when we first enjoyed God of War 2.
