Jul 8, 2023Brilliant debut on the playstation 2 for medal of honor. The increase in difficulty as well as graphical updates cement this as an all time classic first person shooter.
-
Apr 26, 2023This is absolutely one of the best games I have completed, the story is very good and precise, the difficulty challenging, customizable controls for all ages and without a doubt the best of all are the impressive graphics for the time. I don't regret buying it at all and I'm grateful to have it.

Jul 3, 2022Such an ugly graphic but a good gameplay, until to be a 2002 game it is very heavy at certain times of explosions the fps drops a lot Best Honor Medal for PS2

Mar 6, 2017Medal of Honors finest moment and a real quality game. That D-Day mission was epic and set the tone for the rest of the game. One of the better Playstation 2 games and is well worth a play.

Nov 11, 2012This game was the best Second World War First Person Shooter available until the Call of Duty series was born. More 'old school' gamers might prefer this now as it is a 'lone-wolf' type of game. Still enjoyable.
-
Sep 21, 2012It may not be up to par with the games of today, but man this game was the **** when it was released. The controls felt perfect and it had an intriguing (and historically correct) storyline. Worth buying if you can find it somewhere.

Oct 31, 2010Absolutely incredible, haters don't have any idea of how much of a masterpiece this is. This IS the greatest World War 2 first person shooter ever devised.

KeananD.Aug 19, 2008I really couldn't have asked for more from a Medal of Honor game. The graphics are fairly good, the controls are easy, and the music/audio is absolutely amazing. Some of the story can be a bit confusing at times, but it doesn't really detract from the game itself. I recommend it for any WWII game lover.

Game InformerIt bests its predecessors in one key area: Every mission conveys a nail-biting tension that absorbs the player as never before. [June 2002]
-
Frontline isn't perfect, though. For one thing there are the always-problematic control issues. A console system with its gamepad just can't replicate the tight controls offered by a mouse and keyboard.
-
Despite its occasional appearances, the game is so incredibly linear it hurts.
