    As a long time fan of the IP, you can imagine my disappointment with what blizzard has become. It’s sad to see such a beloved company take this turn for nothing but what they think is profit. Fans built this company from the ground up and when they got tired of milking us and wanted to milk their Chinese overlords, they took for granted everything the fans have done.

    I cannot believe the game was shipped in this state, what is going on at Blizzard?! you were once a well respected developer that put the players first. Now you've adopted Activision's way of doing things , delivering bug riddled messes, (WHAT HAPPENED TO THE "BLIZZARD POLISH?!") seemingly for the sake of a cash grab.

    This is incredible! After years of gaming i couldn't foresee this disappointment, its the first game i refunded just to send a message, and i feel just empty.
    Should have seen it coming since the patches for Warcraft 3 classic where they broke the custom game maps and random crashes started coming out of nowhere on an otherwise stable game.
    To be honest there isn't anything i can add    This is incredible! After years of gaming i couldn't foresee this disappointment, its the first game i refunded just to send a message, and i feel just empty.

    To be honest there isn't anything i can add that hasn't been said here by other people time and time again, from the bugs and broken custom games and sometimes campaign missions, not updating the sound features at all to the same old cinematics with a "new" tint.The new graphics and models are ok-ish but you cant really escape the bluish tint that is present on all the models.
    I don't even want to talk about it anymore, Blizzard or whatever clearly needs to become another independent company again if there will ever be a chance to see anything made with love and passion like the first clunky but fun games.
    To be frank i would give it a 5 or 6 but the lies,bugs and the whole "giving back to the community" idea just makes me want to bury this and forget it ever happened.    … Expand

    bad game!!!!
    - No new UI
    - No new cutscenes (just the old ones rescaled)
    - Lots of old features missing

    This game is a slap in the face. I didn’t receive what was advertised when I prepurchased the game. This is a new low for Blizzard.

    Not what it was promised. A broken, half baked mess without anything to do with the good products of the Blizzard we knew and loved back in the days. A falsely advertised game which none should ever touch.

    I find it unbelievable that my "old" W3 with all of its features is not playable anymore as it has been immediately updated and merged with the Reforged client, in spite of me having no interest whatsoever in it. I just want to play the old game that I have paid my money for and that I love.     Ok, I didn't awaited that the game will be something new. But for "reforged" game I awaited that the game would be reforged and not upscaled. Graphics laggs, textures laggs and offline game was removed... all promises were broken and the best game for me was ruined...

    A terrible remake of a classic. I don't know how they can truly call it "reforged" when half the features are removed and the other half are broken. No tournaments, no lobbies, no ladder, no matchmaking, no versus AI, and a broken campaign that auto-defeats you.

    Blizzard butchered my beloved game, full of bugs, the game is far from being called 'finished', ladder is killed, everything is HUGE disappointment...

    This game is awful does'nt work. Keeps crashing cut scenes go blank doesnt have all the features that where promissed. Cut scenes presented at blizzard are not the same its BS money grab dont wast your time.

    The game lags horribly. I don't think I am the only one to say that I was expecting alot more new content. Instead, the game was released late, it's pretty much the same game. I played the original just prior to release, so I could remind myself what the original was. However, now I'm just bored because it's the same thing over again.

    This isn't a remaster, this is a clear scam targeting and a desperate cash grab. This is not a game worth spending anything on. I'd rather play Fallout 76, because that game at least runs.

    Blizzard, im really disappointed, this game is unfinished crap and you want more money? We arent idiots, we have hype for warcraft 3 reforged after blizzcon 2018 and you destroy this old and gold classic of RTS? If you gonna dont fix this "remastered", we have one wish for you, go hell and don't back blizzard.

    That is some terrible, terrible damage. Just glad i abandoned Blizzard after that heartstone Hong Kong debacle for good. Turns out to be a good decision.

    The game just keeps on crashing and it has tons of features cut, they still lie about said features being in the game. a complete con and a scam. 0/10

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
