    I take zero joy in making this review but I can no longer ignore Blizzards indifference towards it's fan base. This "remake" is a souless cash grab that doesn't follow through with the many promises it originally made. This remake was as minimum effort as something could be. Nobody wants the type of games you are currently developing. Either start taking pride in the products you are pushing or close up shop.     This is the worst game Blizzard made so far. If you bought it I am so sorry for you because they don't refund.

    El primero, porque Blizzard ha engañado a los usuarios. Nos prometieron nuevas cinemáticas, nueva interfaz y campaña ampliada. Y al final, lo que han sacado al mercado es el mismo juego de hace 20 años, pero con un par de filtros.

    Nos han mentido de forma descarada y aún así, ningún responsable de Blizzard se ha dignado a pedir perdón a la comunidad. Que es lo mínimo que deberían haber hecho.
    Y el tercer motivo es el enorme downgrade que ha sufrido el juego, ya que ni tan solo le han aplicado los gráficos y cinemáticas que se presentaron en la Blizzcon de 2018.

    If you like:
    - game freezing and/or crashing
    - fps drops even on high end machine
    - no refunds when you're unsatisfied witht he product
    and if you hate your copy of the original Warcraft 3 and if you're ok with being lied to and getting whatever work you actually put into custom maps get stolen by Blizzard, then this game is for you.

    Otherwise, you can join the 0 club.

    What was promised, wasn't delivered. They didn't improve the game, in fact, they defiled the beloved original. Stay away from this.

    Classic bait and switch. Should have canceled my order when i saw the beta, but thought the postponed game would get things fixed, and i was fine with that. Looks like they just gave up on everything they wanted to do except updating the graphics.

    This game is an insult to Warcraft, the customers and the fanbase. They couldn't make a remaster without dragging the original down to hell, and guess what? Every custom game mode you put your hard work into is now the property of Blizzard, so no more interesting innovations on this front.     people who linked their wc3 cd-keys cannot play at all
    custom maps now have a report button so blizzard can ban maps like anime arena and caterparty (the creator of which was already banned)
    lead designer on damage control on twitter

    I just can't believe that they released that this game in this state. This is not a remastered version. It's a DE-MASTERED version.

    Where to begin... I prepurchased this disaster, only to be greeted by login issues, crash issues, MISSING functionality that was available in Legacy WC3 - namely LAN play.... Horrible cinematics....
    At this point, the original game that we all grew up with is only available via illegal means...

    It's not fair to cut so much of the original game. Please make it better or just bring back all that was already in the game. Obviously everyone agrees that you did not obviously finished the remaster... Give us an announcement that you will bring back this game to its glory... Please ;(

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
