    The more I play it the more letdown I am they didn't even remake the original it made it worse the single-player is worse the multiplayer is worse custom campaigns are gone a lot of the Easter eggs are gone I don't know what is going through blizzards head

    I was really excited to play Warcraft III but not at the cost of losing the original game to a bug filled, feature missing "Remaster." Having the promised cut-scenes still used on the website to sell the game is just disgusting.

    I've played original Warcraft3 and loved it very much. Seeing blizard treat its own games like that is very sad, what else can you say .The only interesting thing now, is how low can we make the user score go.

    Waste of time, upgraded graphics with horrible pathing, crappy cut scenes. Just an utter waste of money. Take the 30 dollars and buy McDonald's for yourself and a random homeless person. That experience will give you more joy than WC3 Refunded.

    The funny thing is, with all the things they didn't remaster or straight up downgraded, you can really see how they really took all the effort they could muster to "remaster" the EULA as much as possible so you absolutely don't own anything when you create custom maps. I guess after all the budget went to lawyers they had no more money left to actually develop the game.

    I played this game for a total of 20 minutes? I thought it was strange that nothing really looked different..After thinking I was crazy I went online and saw it all. The only thing they really updated were the textures of the units, and the avatar images. Its nuts that they charged 40 dollars for textures.     After seeing the fact that Blizzard is stealing peoples money based on literally false advertising, and then refuses to refund your money, DO NOT buy this game.     I remember playing Warcraft III: Frozen Throne and Reign of Chaos in 2009, and I am highly disappointed in this Reforged version. I hope that EA and Petroglyph Games (the OG Westwood Studios) do a better job on Command and Conquer Remastered and Command and Conquer Red Alert Remastered. Blizzard sucks donkey balls.

    This was the first time I've ever felt ashamed for buying a game and it was the first Blizzard game I've ever refunded as a long time fan it felt pretty bad. I won't pre-order any more things from Blizzard again after this. Barely anything that was promised is in the game as of this review.

    I was never so disappointed of a Game like i was with Warcraft 3 reforged. They promissed alot but made the game worse in the End. It's just 30 € for a Skin package and it even removed features from the main Game....

    This game is unacceptable. Not only did they manage to destroy the entire interface, they decided to actually remove features profiles, non animated profile pictures, clans, lan, single player custom games, voice lines, and custom campaigns. There's probably more that im just missing.

    The entire client design has been a downgrade from the original. The current design could have been made by a student in a high school graphic design class. The chat actually covers up a majority of the screen when open and blends in with the lobby screen for custom games making it hard to passively read. The original commands to mute,whisper,ban, add friends is all different and more challenging.

    Then they forced everyone to use this client regardless if you bought reforged or not.    … Expand

    Several generations of gamers have grown up with the original masterpiece of a game since 2002, it has taught them to appreciate the good storytelling, good gameplay, it has taught them to challenge themselves, to make friends in multiplayer, to create something new in the world editor, to TRUST the company that delivered all of this to them. It will never do so again. Original games, although completely playable to this day, finely aged - will not attract an eye of a modern gamer, only people who love and appreciate them will play them. This was a chance not everyone gets - to recreate a masterpiece beloved by many - how hard can it be?

    The game has a lot of glitches, UI is not updated, they just change the look of the characters, but no added cutscenes . And the multiplayer disconnects.

    garbage because they still didnt fix the random game crashes in custom games. Even the most popular custom games like custom hero survival simply crish mid game instantly to the desktop. Not even an error message box shows so it wont even get reported to blizzard.
    they added a report button for maps so now all the edgy funny maps will get reported by the whiney losers.

    the graphics are better only in the sense that they look newer but they didnt make the game any better. it's actually quite annoying, some of the models look like they are made by an indie company and are embarrassing.
    Overall sure the look is a bit better but they ruined the old game with this because of one thing: Huge maps cant be played anymore without lag.
    So really really big custom map communities like LTA, LTF or AW are simply dead now because the maps are too laggy for people to bother joining anymore and disconnects still happen almost everytime for somebody. The advice is still to restart wc3 after each game. A NEW game. What a joke, this is not forgiveable precisely because they are ruining the old community, the old games. Who is going to get a lobby together now for LTF? NOBODY. You cant get people together anymore to play these fantastic maps because now the community is split between reforged graphics (laggy, new bugs) and old mode (also buggy but people knew workarounds)    … Expand

    I have boycott all new products under Activision’s banner. Now it seems they have resorted to ruining games from their past. I have the original game but now it is ruined because of this poor attempt at a cash grab. Thanks Activision, I will continue to not buy or play your games since it seems like you really don’t want me to.

    This is the new age garbage blizzard puts out. WC3 was a classic that didn't need much tuning some how blizzard found a way to turn it into trash. Congratulations on destroying a legacy. WTB an indi dev to make a legitimate WC3 knockoff. #neverbuyblizz

    This product isn't worthy of Blizzard's pedigree. The only way this remaster has improved the game is by enhancing some graphics. Everything else has been downgraded. Not to mention anything made with the map editor belongs to Blizzard now. Custom maps were the main reason to play Warcraft 3 and now there is no point for talented mapmakers to do anything without their work being seized.

    It is not the game that I grew up with from 2002. There are so many problems with it. The graphics are not easy on the eyes as one thing wrong. The big thing is Blizzard current policy regarding it all.

    So disappointed. Heros look worse. Skins hardly look different. Definitely not HD. Seems much more lagy (and I HAVE played the old WC3 recently, for comparison). Could have done a rushed patch to achieve the same "improvements."

    I don't think I will ever be pre-ordering again. I loved the original, and would very much prefer it, to this. 0 out of 10. Will go back to original.

    Close to speechless. What the hell have they done. Lies, lies and lies. Never support blizzard again. Not only is the game nowehere near ready for release, with it it also destroyed the cassic warcraft 3 roc/tft. Forcing an update to the nearly 20 year old game we loved, and broke it so they could profit from their ONCE loyal fanbase.

    Big promises, big hopes and big deception. All that remains after the release is resentment, the feeling that they threw me. I hope the company will draw conclusions in the future, but this product in the form in which it was released is a mistake.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
