    It's a shame what happened. False advertisement, and downgrade in every way compared to the original.
    Buggy mess and except a bit of a graphical update that is only on the surface, it's a too-small change for such high price.
    And yeah they killed classic version, unfortunately.

    I've been playing wow for over 7 years and I loved this game, excellent graphics, wonderful voice acting, my new favorite game and look that I'm not a fan of rts games, I didn't have any problems with bugs

    It's a mess. Overwatch is in the middle of CPR, World of Warcraft is on life support, Warcraft 3 is dead on arrival and Diablo 4 is just waiting to be euthanized. At this rate all the classics that we love will be infected by this greed, eventually tainting any positive memories we have.

    Going forward, there are measures we must take. Wash your hands of Blizzard/Activision obvious money grabs. Mask up against their cunning promises and lies. Keep an eye out for more consumer oriented companies and funnel your nutrients/money to them. We should be promoting good behavior and vaccinating ourselves against the bad.

    Did not deliver what was promised. It is buggy. The original WC3 had more options than this updated game. I would not recommend to buy this game in its current state.

    Как фанату warcraft 3. Я очень ждал эту игру. Обещали во первых переделку кат сцен,в итоге ничего этого нет. В компании зависания которые не понятно почему происходят fps от 60 до 10 падает даже в меню игры. Хотя там обьектов вообще нету. Кастомки теперь нельзя делать свои. Какого фига я не могу поиграть теперь в DBZ карты или Bleach vs Onepiece. Так же невозможность сменить на старуюКак фанату warcraft 3. Я очень ждал эту игру.     Thats what they deserve.I am a Blizzard fan since 1999 but they lost me because of their games expansions and behavior.They do not even balance their games.They are just adding cosmetic.They killed WoW,Diablo and their community.Good job Blizzard keep up the good work.

    Art Style: Vastly inferior to the original.
    Units Portraits: Worse than both SC2 (released:2010) and SC:R(2017). Have weird lightning and animations, very unpolished.

    I own a russian version of the game. It has a horrid dub, bad performance and graphics that don't look updated at all, at least the ambient textures are poorly detailed, which is the 30% of overall experience for me. But the most annoying is bad, bad russian dub. Game is a shameless cash grab by a company which has been exempt from fan criticism for far too long.

    Bought this and asked for a refund within 30 mins.
    Total disaster of a game.
    The gameplay, graphics, sound and UI all felt super cluinky.
    Blizzard did not care for this game, inline with their recent products... will never support them again.

OVERALL, it looks like blizzard took over a year to import wow models into warcraft 3 and then add a couple additional maps. Trash, fans could of done this in map creator, BLIZZARD go back to the drawing table and don't skip the visualization/ concept part of development, because It looks like you definitely did and the money got to your heads.… Expand

    I did not get for what I have payed for. Too much got cut. All was left is a mediocre reskin for 40€. Sure it is still Warcraft 3 but i payed for Warcraft 3 reforged and its promises and not for a game I already have. Look at their Website for the Reforged Trailer and then say "everything is okay"

    Unfortunately the nostalgia won over against my better judgement.

    Game fails to launch and I can't even play it. (Specs: i5 8400, 16GB DDR4 Ram, AMD RX580)
    Refund was rejected by Blizzard and no specific reason was given except that I must go report the bugs and that the purchase was final.

But man, the unskilled and amateur reutilization of aspects from the old game is just painful to watch.     I had no expectations for this game and I was still disappointed. I miss using my old client to play the game and I miss the old Blizzard. My opinions would be echos of these other posts and i don't want to do that. I'm just disappointed that they ruined mine and from reading the other posts, many others as well.

    However whats not fine is the promised hours of remade in game cut-scenes, like the ones shown at Blizzcon of The Culling of Strathholm (which is still being used as part of the marketing to this day), but they decided to backtrack on that promise and not tell anyone.
    The animation cut-scene of the Arthas and Illidan fight is laughable, such stiff animations and models that look like toys,..............honestly this entire situation Pisses me off to No End.

    Warcraft 3 is without question one of the greats and influential games ever made and is one of (if not THE) Flag ship game and The release of REFORGED (REFUNDED).........just makes it seem like they didn't give a **** about it...................sad sad times............    … Expand

    This game is horribly optimised, during the campaign, it exited half through missions sometimes, with many many other bugs with a lot of missing features, such as a RANKING system for matchmaking, which you'd expect to have in a game in 2020.

From the outsourcing of development to Malaysia, to the new mod clause that makes any mod a player creates owned by Activision-Blizzard (Blizzard is still angry about Dota more than 15 years later), and downgrade of various assets and icons that now give a soulless-like appearance, to mass firing employees despite making record revenue goals (and relisting those same job positions but for lower paygrade) and referring to those human beings that were fired as "resources" in their investor meeting.

    This company will stop at no end to profit every penny from consumers and save a buck whenever possible even at the expense of game design quality. After the update it became necessary to run and update the BattleNet desktop app. When I finally got into the game, it requested to log in in the BattleNet O_o I tryed 10 times, but it cannot connect to the server.     Also for some reason I thought that the videos would be updated, but, of course, this was not promised. On 2080ti and 8 cores, the game produces 30-40 fps sometimes down to 18-27. Some models get frozen in T-pose after death.    When I saw the game at the show in 2018, I pre-ordered it.     Sometimes there's lags and micro-freezing.

    I would look forward to logging onto wc3 occasionally and playing some scenario and custom games this game has been a part of my life since childhood, now I can't even play this game for recreational purposes. I feel you not only gave me a bad reforged, but are currently robbing me of the original game I loved and paid for.

This reforge is a huge middle finger from Blizzard to all of the loyal fans of the franchise. This reforge is a huge middle finger from Blizzard to all of the loyal fans of the franchise. Not only did they downright downgrade the game, they falsely advertised many new features which are still being advertised on the main warcraft 3 reforged page. The new "improved graphics" are just better looking models and to be frank the old game graphics look even better than the new counterpart. The new one give off a cartoon-ish vibe and do not add to the feel of the game. There is no local game hosting, you can't rebind hotkeys, the game features missing textures on launch and many other bugs and frequent crashes and in my case the game audio would crash 50% of the time forcing me to restart the game just for the audio to work. The new voice lines sound weak and just worse than the old ones. The game menu(as one debugger found out) is laggy because it is basically a web interface running on chrome inside the game. Blizzard now owns all custom mods and maps you create and also owns the moral rights to it. They refuse to give out refunds in some cases and censor their forums and users that try to help others/ or are just looking for a way to get their refund. The game is poorly optimized running at horrible framerates and they managed to cut costs even on some secondary animations that old WC3 units had and just used a single same one. Blizzard it's time to WAKE UP and address this mess. Not to mention you made the original multiplayer unplayable.… Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
